My Dear Puppy

Hello everyone how are you all? Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I am here today with a card I made a while ago.......I need get through the build up that I havnt shown yet lol. I have used one of the super adorable Dreamerland Stamps.......these really are fabulous to colour I love them. When I got my stamps I sat & coloured up a few of them that night & this was one of them.........I love this stamp sooooo much. You can see the love in it.....it makes my heart melt...

Now this paper is a pad that hubster brought me, he was out & he passed Hobbycraft so he called in to have a peeksie to see if he could buy me anything as a surprise..........isn't he adorable...god I love that man.

Anyhoo I'm soooooo darn fussy on paper I really am but I'm a paper addict.....good paper that is lol.

This pad is lush, the colours are gorgeous, its First Edition Wild At Heart. I machine stitched the bottom 2 layers.

I made a bow with some paper straw/raffia kind of stuff.........yeah dont know what this is called but had it in my stash for a few years & have different colours lol. I added a button to the centre & some stringy twine threaded to the button.

The fabulous stamp is called 'My Dear Puppy' & its from Noor Design UK. I stamped them onto Fabriano paper & coloured with distress ink refills & markers.

The love we feel for our pets & the love our pets give us is unconditional, you can see & feel the love here in this stamp dont you think. So I chose a Love kind of sentiment, I've had it in my craft stash since I first started crafting but have no idea what brand it is.....the verse says

The love in your heart wasn't put there to stay, love isn't love 'til its given away!

For the top 2 layers I used Fantasy Rectangle dies to cut them out & layered the image with foam pads onto the next layer.

I wanted to add different textures to this card & I thought it would go with the paper so I added a piece of hessian to one side.....I cut it so it was frayed to add to the look.

Thats it form me I will be back tomorrow with my Noor Design UK DT make, a little clue to what I've made....its shabby chic ;-)

All About Magnolia

Hello everyone hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I'm running a tad late as I totally forgot what day it was. I blame my 2 sons as I went the gym with them this morning & I love the weights but I stick to the womens section but today decided venture onto the big stuff & OMG my arms are killing me.....I'm gonna know about it inthe next 2days lol.....but they say no pain no gain lol.

Ok so its challenge time over at All About Magnolia & this month we have an easy one for you all............

All About Your Favourite Colours

.....how easy is that, just make something in your favourite colours.

Now in real life I dont have a favourite colour but in the crafty cardy world I have 3, pinks, blues & lilacs.......so pastels lol. However I could not choose, so I used all 3 colours lol.

This is also a card I made for Tracy's next show over at Noor Design UK, so 90% of whats on this card you can get from Noor Design UK.

I added a Scrapiniec Birthday chipboard.......to be honest I forgot I had brought these they were hiding in my scrapiniec basket at the back still unopened.

I've also added some beautiful lace, flowers, apple pomegranates & berries & the leaves are a Joy Crafts die here.

I have used another of the new Emoji stamps, this one is called 'Cause I Love You' & I stamped her onto Fabriano watercolour & coloured her with mainly distress ink refills. Now I coloured her as soon as I got her but will try remember the colours.......

Skin - Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar & Fired Brick for cheeks

Hair - Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs

Top - Stormy Sky (pen as its a purpley colour) & Pumice Stone

Trousers - Weathered Wood

Shoes - Frayed Burlap (maybe)

Heart & Rose - Fired Brick & Hickory Smoke (I think)

Grass - 3 shades of green but cannot remember which ones sorry.

I also Pearl Dots around image & inside of rose & also pink shabby frantage.

I also covered the image in Rangers Micro Distress Glaze.

The seambinding was originally eggshell & I coloured it myself & shabbied it up lol.

I added the new gorgeous die range Tracy has got in, here is the one used here in the top right corner.

The die Tilda is on is one of my favourite Joy Crafts one & I have to say with the Joy Crafts die-cutting machine its cuts a breeze......love it even more now lol.

The paper is the new range from Maja Design, ok not exactly new, iot was originally released as Limited Edition & thankfully Maja Design has re-released.....thank you soooooo much Maja Design wooo hooooo. It is of course the Sofiero collection which Tracy has in in 12x12 7 the 6x6 pad & of course they introduced the Emphera this time....you can get the collection here, it really is so pretty so if you didnt get any last time be sure to get it this time!!

I've also used a sheet from another collection which is the one at the bottom, but they all go perfectly together.....like starwberries & ice-cream mmmmmm.

Noor Design UK Febuary Challenge

Hello there & welcome to Febuary lol........wow a  month has passed us already.......I'm still waiting for the days to be extended to 36 hours instead of 24 but parliment seem to be dragging their heels.....mmmm what couldpossibly be the hold up ;-)

Ok enough of my jibber jabber I'm here today with my DT card for Noor Design UK.......its the 1st of the month so you know what that means.........yep new challenge. An easy one again this month as its the month of lurve & we all need lurve...this month the challenge is...

'HAVE A HEART'

......perfect for Valentines which is around the corner. 

Ok so yesterday I showed you the seaside chair form magnolia......I actually meant to put a sentiment on that saying take it easy lol......then ended up with something different...how I dont know. Anyway here is the chair again but someone's butt is on it today ;-)

Ok the shape is made with a Go-Kreate die but everything else is from Noor Design UK & all links are at the bottom of the post.

Here is the seaside chair with Frenchy Tilda's butt on it lol. Frenchy Tilda is from the Spring Fever Collection 2016 which you can get here.

They were both stamped with Stazon brown as its very rare I use black ink for stamping images & they were coloured with distress ink refills....I love the refills. I also added something else which you cannot see as I've taken inspiration from my talented DT buddy Barbara & I've added Tim Holtz Glaze all over the image.

This stops any smearing, smudging & seals & protects the image & waterproofs it. I cannot tell you how many images I have ruined by accidents but now I have this little magic pot I wont yayyyy.

The papers are again Maja Design Summertime & I've stitched all around the edge.

The oval die the image is on is actually a winter die from Find It Trading but you gotta love dies that can be used all year round & this certainly can.

The Winter die & a lot of the Magnolis stamps including the chair are on sale over at Noor Design Uk.....we all love a sale dont we peeps.

I've also used my favourite leaf die........I love leaf dies & have a few....what I mean is I'e never got enough lol. This Rosy Owl Varigated one is my favourite though & looks fab if you bend the leaves to give them a bit of life.

Ok I'm gonna stopp my babble now as we have a appointment at 9.30.....thankfully its in our home so I dont have to rush off travelling as its 9.15 lol.

Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello again, I know I'm like the bus service.....you dont see me for a week (I think lol) then 2 in 1 day.....

This time I'm here with my DT card for Deep Ocean Challenge.....if you would like to see my mixed media card for Noor Design UK either scroll down or click here ;-)

ANYTHING NEW

Ok so if you read this mornings post you will know about my hand.......well luckily this card has been done for a few days & I had just finished putting the flowers on on Friday night before my hand kinda broke on the Saturday morning lol....ok not broke broke but not well lol.

So for my anything new I have made a baby card with some new things I had off santie ;-)

Now this image has been coloured up since last summer........yep Sitting Tingla by Magnolia has sat in my coloured images box for a long time.....dont worry though she is NOT alone & some have been there a LOT longer lol.

She was stamped onto my favourite paper here & coloured with distress ink markers & refills.

I added stickles to her dummy (pacifier) & the heart on her onesie.

I found this little cutie on Ebay last year & got quite excited, coloured her up immediately.....then put her in a box lol....

The papers are of course Maja Design Vintage Baby......my favourite baby papers but not just for babies ;-) I inked & distressed the edges & then machine sewn them.

I also cut 2 tags to add in as well, added eyelets & seam binding.

I fussy cut around the little girl & just glued the edges down so that the tags had somewhere to slide in. I also stamped around the edge of the white card with a postage stamp by Magnolia & added a Pacifier die-cut in the top corner.

The Bottle die-cuts, the Baby wording & the little Duck thingy-ma-jig is from Joy Crafts One Of A Kind Baby Set dies......this I had off hubby for crimbo.

The doily was cut out using a Cheery Lynn die.

Another new thing on the card is the gorgeous pink Chiffon Rose With Pearl Lace going down the side.......I got a few gorgeous laces.....oh I lurve lace :-)

The bow was made using Magnolia Bride Bow die. In the top corner I added a spool from my stash & attached the sentiment which I cut form the bottom of a 12x12 sheet of Maja Design paper.

There is a Corner die in the other corner which is this one & the pretty flowers & Cheesecloth are from Noor Design UK.

Image was cut out using Memory Box Stitched Ovals.

For My Daughter

Helloooooo everyone, have you put your clocks back? Did you enjoy that extra hour? My dog's clock did not go back & she still wanted go potty at the usual time.......I couldnt find the dial to turn her back neither :-)

Anyhoo my lovelies I have a card that I havnt shown yet & it was for my daughter-in-laws birthday...........though to us she is our daughter, we certainly love her just as much.

I've used her favourite brand of stamps......I'm so lucky she loves the same ones as me lol...

Her birthday was a couple of weeks ago......although I made this about a month ago now.

I've used the oh so pretty Pion Design 'Scent Of Lavender' paper from Noor Design UK. The 'Lavender' Tag is from the Memory Notes sheet. The sheets I've used on the card are 'Fields Of Purple' & 'Provence' which is one of my favourite sheets.

The shape of the card is round which I made with a Go-Kreate die

I added a border & made the sentiments from the 'Scent Of Lavender Borders' sheet. I added a bit of bling from my bling stash & used a Joy Crafts die to make the Lavender.....

You can also see a doily peeking out at the top ;-)

The window is a Marianne die & I cut a piece of pion paper to make it look like wallpaper behind her, keeping it simple so this pretty Tilda didnt get lost. This Tilda is from the Magnolia Boho collection & she is called 'Boho Tilda'. I stamped her onto my favourite watercolour paper Fabriano & coloured her with distress ink refills only.

I made 2 bows with lilac seam binding from my stash & added a Bark Heart & I made a cabochon, using a circle from the 'Scent Of Lavender Tags' sheet.....

As always inside is also decorated to match the front.

All other dies are Magnolia, the leaves are cut from 'Scent Of Lavender Small Leaves' sheet. Nearly all of the flowers are from Noor Design UK. I also added a 'Mini Gift Bag' & added a tag from the 'Scent Of Lavender Tags' sheet & added an eyelet, some waxed cord & a charm.

Thankfully Megan loved the card, I LOVE making things for Megan as she values every single one & keeps them all in her unit........it makes it worth it doesnt it......especially for how long these take to make & how much love & care we put into them.

Noor Design UK DT Card

Hello everyone I'm here today to show you my DT card for the Noor Design UK Blog.

I've used a Wild Rose Studio stamp today & a new die, well a new die for me lol.

Ok so how darn adorable is this mouse.....I coloured this little fella with distress ink markers & refills. The poinsettia also had white gel pen added to highlight & I put platinum stickles to the centre.

Colours used are..................

Mouse - Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke, Spun Sugar, Candied Apple, Wild Honey

Poinsettia - Fired Brick, Pine Needles, Vintage Photo

 on Fabriano Watercolour paper then cut out with Little Darlings Fancy Rectangle.

I added some double ruffle trim along the side.......this I stitched on, yeah I made sure it wasn't coming off lol.

Ok so this is my new die......its the Creative Expressions Classic Poinseetia die. Its out of stock at the moment but if you ask Tracy she will order one for you....I LOVE this die its fabulous!!

I cut the Poinsettia's out of Flocked Paper & then once glued together I shaped the petals slightly by bending them. The leaves came with the die set & you also get centre dies but I used the silver pearl string instead.

The red seam binding is from my stash but the green is Tracy's shabby seam bidning & is soooo gorgeous!!

I added 2 silver bells with brown waxed cord & a gorgeous bit of bling to the centre......we gotta have out bling........even more at crimbo time ;-)

This is the inside which is exactly the same layout as it is on the front. I've used the latest Pion Christmas Collection........the colours on every sheet are beautiful!!

As alwasy I've machine stitched each layer & inked the edges with pumice stone.

This photo is to so you can see the snowflake border better at the top. The snowflake I also cut out separately using the matching snowflake singular die & added another beautiful piece of bling to the centre.

The poinsettia at the top I made with just the 2 smaller layers.
