Live and Love Crafts DT Card - Sweet Blossom

Hello everyone, I'm here today with my DT card for the Live & Love Crafts Blog.

As some of you know Sandy gave us a gorgeous theme this week & it was the beautiful picture of Cherry blossom...........my absolute favourite tree, I even have one in my garden, not fully grown yet though.

Ok so initially beginning of the week I coloured my image up, then our lovely Becky used the same image..........great minds think alike that's what I say lol. You will see it on my DT card tuesday instead ;-)

So instead here is my substitute image........

I've used the gorgeous new 'Vintage Baby' papers by Maja Design...........not just for babies though ;-)

I wanted to keep it all soft & delicate so these papers were the perfect choice. All papers were stitched as always.

Added gorgeous Shabby Pearl Rose Organza trim. I cut a corner with a Marianne die.

I love these shabby bark hearts, they are one of my favourite embellishments. I added shabby seam binding behind it & the butterflies were cut from a Pion sheet & covered with Crackle Accents. You can also see the Cheese Cloth peeking out.

I lurve Sylvia Zet images, this one is called 'Sweet Blossom' & was coloured with distress re-fills & markers. I also added frantage around the image. The butterflies & flowers I covered with 'Rock Candy' stickles then sprinkled Glamour Dust over the top.

I've added quite a few flowers with a wooden heart button.

 There is a doily is in there as well somewhere lol. The lace going up the side I sooooooooo love this stuff, one of my many faves lol, this was sewn onto the paper. I also added a metal corner & not much escaped the Gesso lol.

The leaves I've used are from Noor Design UK, they are 0047 - Vintage Flourish Leaf &  0331 - Leaf die.

Well that's it from me, hope you all have a lovely weekend & hope the weather is beautiful for you. We have builders in again today cutting out the hole to reposition Natalie window.............LOTS of dust today again lol.

Noor Design UK DT Creation - For A Friend

Hello everyone, hope you are having a lovely week so far. I hear the weather is supposed to be good.....shame its not so good here by the north sea :-(
I'm here today with my DT Creation for Noor Design UK Blog & today I am showing you a card using the fab Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art Tag template & also I've used the Card Art Strawberry set, also Dutch Doobadoo.
I have been making bits of this since last week but only got it finished finally tuesday morning before I went for my tattoo. Ok here are the piccies, quite a few I'm afraid lovelies.

The strawberry acts as a giftbox as it ties shut so you can put things inside.............perfect to give a little gift to someone. I've used the gorgeous Pretty Floral paper pad on both, but the bottom layer on the tag is the Floral Paper pad but I think it goes well together ;-)

At the top of the tag card I also cut the top part off the Strawberry Set & attached string & seam binding to match the starwberry. 

I've used the Vintage Flourishes Keys die for the tag & covered it in fran-tage. On each petal of the strawberry top I cut the Corner Dies that come with the 12 point square die in half, then attached each half with a heart shaped pearl. Also added a scrap of lace & a scrap of muslin fabric tied in a bow, and of course some flowers from LLC, as is the fran-tage.

Here is the 12 point Square die which I heat embossed with Aged Wine & then Aged Rose Fran-Tage on top of that. I set the base to a different angle for a different kinda look, then added a sentiment & more heart shaped pearls.

I added lace of course from LLC & a flower made with the Floral Flourishes Flower die No.3, I've used the 2 largest dies & cut from the same paper pad & then added a rose to the centre & finished it off with the gorgeous leaves die.

This is the top of the Strawberry which is done like the top of the Tag Shaped card, the same key die but I used the smaller one on here.

On a couple of the side I added flowers using the Mask Art & Structure paste. I've also added dashings of Dutch Doobadoo Gesso here, there & everywhere lol.

Last pic now I promise lol. I so enjoyed making this set.
