Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone, running late today. Its time for a new challenge over at Deep Ocean & this fortnight is an easy peasy one........

CHRISTMAS IS ALL AROUND

............told ya it was easy.

I have a card I made for another family member who lives half way down the country from me, so until I know they have this card I cant say who its for ;0)

I have gone, pretty in vintage on this one & used non-traditional colours. Really hope they like it!!

I have gone Pion Vintage on this lol, yep all the papers & the image are Pion. The papers are Pion Days Of Winter 'Lilly & Siri 6x6' & the image I actually cut from a 12x12 sheet from the Days Of Winter 'Christmas Eve'. I cut the image out using a Go-Kreate die.

All of the flowers, the Frosted Berries, Feathers & Bark Star are all form Live & Love Crafts.

I have also added Stardust Stickles to everything as well, just to give it some nice sparkle ;0)

The 'Merry Christmas' strip across the corner is from the same paper sheet. You can also see some CheesCloth sticking out there ;0)

This is the inside, although the pic was taken before anything was put in to write on. The lace is form my stash, the papers are the same collection & again I've added a border along the middle, I love these borders that come with Pion papers. The banner on the top is one I made myself using a LOTV Sentiment stamp.

The thinner lace & the glitter tulle are form LLC, as are the Bells which I added glitter to & the vax cord. I have to say this 'Glitter Tulle' is just so so pretty. For the edge I've used a Martha Stewart PATP. I've also added small cream pearl snowflakes here & there as well.

Well my washer guy has been & he ordered the wrong part ggrrrrr. He is coming back tuesday, which is a day before christmas Eve, so it doesnt look like my new flooring will be down before crimbo :0( Looks like its gonna be stuck in the passage way a bit longer.

Trust me to have a fan-dangle blinkin'washer!! A few years ago I used to have a colourful Dyson washer which was awesome, then we got a new which was.....well crap!! So we got this new one from LG which is a 11kg washer, believe me I need a large washer with Natalie alone lol, especially constant duvet washing!! It even plays a wee tune when each load is done, it makes me smile lol. When we got it because how expensive it was, even more than the Dyson we decided get a lifetime warranty on it. Well its a good job as we've had a few probs. Luckily however this one is a prob which still means I can use my washer.......I just have to mop after every load as water leaks on the rinse/spin cycle from the drawer..........its only a bit, but obviously dont want to put down new wooden flooring for it get ruined.........especially if I'm busy when it leaks & it sits there for however long I'm busy for or if I've had to pop out!!!!!!

Anyhoo's thats my washer saga, brill washer but a pain in the ass lol.

Sorry to droan on but the dog has fallen asleep on me so doesnt want to listen to my moaning lol, cant blame him really lol. Well I have a bedrooms to clean so will see you all laters.

All Good Wishes For Christmas

Hello my lovelies how are you all? I'm sorry I'm behind in commenting on your lovely blogs, being on my laptop is bringing me out in headaches/migraines. So I'm limiting myself on internet time.........yep making crimbo shopping harder :0(

I do have another card to show, I actually have made quite a few but because of my head I cant seem to blog them. I am wearing glasses for reading etc but with no help :0( never mind will see what the doc says when I see him.

Ok so here is a card I made for my youngest son Jake, girlfriends parents lol. 

I have gone more with a vintage type card, so I'm really hoping they like it. Do you worry when you give handmade cards out if they are gonna like them or would prefer a shop brought one?? I do all the time.......I mean every single time lol. 

Ok onto the card, the papers are Maja Design '1st December' & I think Maja Design '18th of December'. All have been machine stitched around the edge. 

I have added Noor Design '2021 Ice Crystal Edge' die & 'Ice Crystal 2020', my favourite Snowflake die, which has also been covered with 'Shabby Blue Fran-Tage'. The pearl centres are from LLC, as are the flowers.

Of course inside is decorated also. The mini doilies are from my stash. The laces used are 'Shabby Pearl Organza Rose' & 'Lace Euphoria 55mm'. The gorgeous image is from Maja Design 'Vintage Frost Christmas Die-Cuts' & so is the small postage type stamp on the lace which I also added a Christmas Tree charm.

Well thats all from me today, will try my best to get round to see more of you over the course of today & tonight. I was going to go Next today to pick up the grandchildrens clothes for christmas but I have lots of deliveries due & tomorrow I have the guy back to fix my washer wooo hooooo. I'm hoping then I can finish decorating my kitchen & get the new laminate flooring down before christmas...........yeah we are cutting it fine if we do eeekkkk!!

Merry Christmas at Live & Love Crafts

Hello all you lovely people around the world. Well it's not long now til the jolly fella in red comes, shaking his belly like a bowlful of jelly ;0) Are you excited? What's more, are you organised & ready? I am soooooooo not ready or organised this year, though I'm still excited lol.

Okie dokie lets quit my babble & get on with my post, which as you all know Sandy has given us free reign......... & I'm afraid I have another christmas card.

Post is pic heavy so I will try keep chatter to a minimum....

I have made a shaker card, I havn't made one of these since my 1st year crafting.......so this is my 2nd shaker in 4 years. I lurve shaker cards & really should do them more often.

All the snowflakes have been fran-taged with Shabby White. I've also added the gorgeous frosted berries to the centre & of course some bells.

There is a doily under there somewhere, also Magnolia Fence just under the deer, the deer I also added gesso to & a rusty bell.

All of the flowers are of course from LLC. The tulle is the beautiful Glitter Tulle which really is so so pretty IRL.

Of course inside is decorated as well to compliment the front, all papers have been machine stitched & white gesso painted around the edges.

I've used my latest new Magnolia stamp & coloured her with re-inkers & distress ink markers. I added Stardust Stickles to her fur. The shaky bits are Diamond Dust & a wee bit of micro glass beads. I also added flat back string pearls around the edge. I also added diamond dust to the red flowers as well.

For the shape I used a XXL Go Kreate die. The tags at the top are Magnolia doo-hickey tags. The leaves are Magnolia Sprawling Fern dies.

This is for a member of my family, cant say who incase they are peeking ;0) I really hope they like it!

New at LLC and Christmas Hugs Across The Miles

Hello all you lovely peeps, how are you all? Well its certainly getting cold now, tbh it seems to have took ages to get cold..........would you believe we still have our summer quilt on & up until the last week we were still having the ceiling fan on as the bedroom still felt warm. I do now need to go out & buy a winter quilt.......we brought a new bed a couple of months ago & its King Sized, with a poppy up tv in it. So now I need buy a bigger winter quilt now :0/

Ok so I have a card that I made tbh this was actually the first one I made when I started crafting again, however I only finally put the sentiments on yesterday lol. 

Using lots of goodies from my favourite shop Live & Love Crafts of course...........

For the shape I used a Go-Kreate die XXL Square Frame Frilly #6.

This is actually made for a dear family member who lives very far from us :0(

The tree is cut out using a Marianne die & I covered it with White Flower Soft, I love the look as its like its covered with soft fresh snow ;0) 

Added 'Winter Gloves' charm, which I also dipped in 'Snowtex'. I also added my favourite 'Tulle Pleat Trim' & added 'Shabby Pearl Rose Organza Trim' on top.

The image is one I coloured last year for my christmas cards, I actually coloured the image up twice as I enjoyed doing the first one lol. However I only got to use one of the images, so this was in my image box, but unfortunately dont have the colours.

The image is 'Friendship Is The Greatest Gift' & is a digi from Wee Stamps, I lurve Sylvia Zet's images. You can also get this in rubber stamp form through Whimsy as well.

It is coloured with Copics & I added 'Stardust' Stickles & White Shabby Fran-Tage.

You can see the flowers soft on the tree better in this pic ;0) The papers I've used are.......in a min Vixster is trying remember......Oh wait they are Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics '1st December' & the bottom layer is '18th December' from the same collection. As always inside is decorated & all layers are machine stitched.

I added corrugated card under the image painted up with 'Gesso'. The sentiments on both from LOTV. The rolled flowers are 'Kort & Godt' & the middle flower is WOC 30mm. The leaves are Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns' die.

Ok I'm off now to cook tea as my washer repair man has just left, he's got to come back next week with new parts......ggrrr. Thankfully its still useable & thank goodness for extended warranties as apparently its a big job & he's got take all my washer apart :0(
