CES Challenge ......Challenge 3

Good morning all you lovely crafters. Well its Saturday so that means only 1 thing.....yes thats right its time for a new challenge over at CES Challenges....
Last week we had amazing cards entered thankyou from every1 at CES
This week, challenge 3 is 'Christmas Easel' cards. Now this is a nice easy1 most of us love doing easel cards & the weeks are flying past we better get cracking with our crimbo cards lol.
Here is my easel card......pop on over to CES the DT's creations are gorgeous...
The papers are from Paislee 'Mistletoe & Co' & are from Crafty Emma's Store, the red paper is 'Naughty or Nice', the blue paper on the top is 'North Pole' & the blue paper on the bottom is 'Santa's Workshop' & the tag on the bottom is 'Postcards' these are all 12x12 papers & they really are gorgeous & all go so beautifully together.....actually I've just put a fresh order in for some more I like them that much lol.

Here is a close-up of the image I have used this week. This is from WOJ & its 'Ice Skating Henry', I'm in love with these little fella's they are just sooo cute I went over to WOJ & thought I'd have a peek see what else there was you know kinda like window shopping...mmmm bad idea ending up putting in a order oops!!!
Anyway they are coloured with Promarkers but the shading is with Prisma pencils. This was the 1st time I'd done it actually & it was because my new pens hadn't turned up....I really enjoyed doing it this way I found the shading easier & more controlled.....will def be doing it like that again lol.

The Dew Drops & Pearl Pin are from Crafty Emma's Store. The Poinsettia's you can also get from there. The leaves are from my stash as is the red crystal bead on the pin & the little rose buds. The snowflakes I punched out & then covered with Diamond Dust Twinklets, the sparkle is hard to capture on camera. The 'Merry Christmas' I think I got from Bunny Zoe's

Papers were edged with 'Vintage Photo' distres ink & distressed with my tooly thingy. The top I actually followed a sketch on 2 sisters challenge blog which has now ended.....darn it!!!
If you would like to join in with this weeks challenge then all you have to do is make an Easel Crimbo card...easy as that...you could also be in with a chance of winning this...

Dandelion Die Cut Decoupage Kit
So pop on over to CES & join in the fun.

Thankyou so much for stopping by hugs to you all.
Bye-D-Bye
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

My New Creation

Good evening peeps or is it good morning I'm running sooo late again so I'm gonna keep this short as I'm tired also there are quite a few pics so pull a chair take the weight off your feet & have a nice cuppa!!! Right this week over at PFP the lovely Emma has chosen the theme which is 'Sweet Treats'....can't you tell Emma has a sweet tooth, actually havn't we all I know I def have. Anyway when I was looking all thru my zillion stamps I only had 2 that would fit this category & they were both HM, so thank you Emma for making me use these stamps. They were bought back in March when I 1st starting stamping etc but I've only finally now inked & made a card....well creation. As the challenge is 'Sweet Tooth' I chose this stamp....
I could eat some cake right now......actually I'm stuffing my face on Ferrero Rocher lol. This is House Mouse holding his young 1 up to blow out a candle on a little birthday cake....I think its sooo cute. It has been coloured with Promarkers but some of the shading on the mice is with Prisma pencils, the cake is all PM's with Icing stickles on top of the cake. This isn't a card I though cake...food....recipes... so I made a recipe holder, I've never made 1 before & it took me about 4 hours to make but I enjoyed doing it. Here is a better pic.............

All the papers are K&Co, the flowers are from Wild orchid & gems are from my stash. The inside is made with long envelopes sealed then cut in half to make pockets & then they were all inked to match colours of paper with distress ink FireBrick & Antique Linen.

Close-up of the image, the edges were edged with Antique Linen distress ink. All the flowers I edged with Iced stickles.

This is the back of it, I attached a bit of bling along the bottom of the strap by attaching some gems from my stash.

To decorate the tope of each pocket I punched some beige card with a MS punch to make it nice & feminine. The 2 buttons on the top are from Bunny Zoe's. The hole for the strap to go through I used a spellbinder, the smallest 1 & I used the largest 1 for the image.

Lastly I have tried take a pic of it spread out to give you a better idea/view of it.
Well thats it peeps I did try to keep it short lol, I didn't do too bad really I'm going to go link it up & link it to a few other challenges I've found & then I'm hitting the sack, my head is crying out for its pillow.
Goodnight every1 hope you can come back tomorrow for the new challenge over at CES Challenges. Thankyou so much for stopping by & leaving comments I deeply appreciate every single 1.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

OMG a man's card

Good afternoon every1 I cant believe its Friday already these weeks really are flying by. I had HUGE probs with my lappy yesterday my hard-drive went bonkers & has given up the will to live.....you would think it would of warned me 1st..... EEEE gosh well anyway's on my lappy like probably sooo many of you I have digi images & craft robo cutting files & templates etc but stupid me hadn't backed anything up....yeah exactly I spat the dummy big time, actually the blanket got thrown as well!!! So I'm using a TINY 20gig hard-drive that used to be my youngest son's (Jake) off an old abox 360, thank goodness for his games console as also he has 1 of those thingy-ma-jiggy's that you use to transfer thing from your xbox to computer....not up on xbox lingo lol. So now hubby has my hard-drive linked up to Jake's big computer hoping that he can transfer all my files.....I have everything crossed that it works, do you know for once I'm glad I spoil my kids a bit too much....dont tell them that lol.
Right onto the reason I'm here & thats my card. I have actually made a man's card I did 1 of my DT cards yesterday & then last night made a male card......I think my hard-drive may of burnt out as well lol. I got some Flower Soft stamps ages & ages ago but only now FINALLY put them to card, so here it is....
This is the stamp by Flower Soft 'Man Of The Match' I first saw this on the lovely Coops so obviously went on the wi-fi high street & me 1.....ok a couple of flower soft stamps & some more flower soft. I enjoyed colouring this is it represents me & my brother, we are both footie fan but unfortunately my brother got hit with a 'glory hunter' trophy when he was young (the team was at 1st place at the time in division 1, there was no prem league then). Yes he still has no taste what-so-ever & still supports Liverpool, I suppose some1's got 2. I on the other hand support a REAL team they went down to the championship division not so long ago but it was just to see what it was like....they are now amongst their kind, playing with the big boys, thats right its Newcastle Utd home to the magpies, where we have had gos like Sir Bobby, Keegan & not forgetting Shearer. I'm older than my bro so I am the bigger boy lol.

The sentiment comes with the stamp, which I think is just fab. The papers are from BG 'Olivia' & I got it from Crafty Emma's, I know its called Olivia but I thought these 2 papers could be for male or female. The dew drops are also from there. All the papers were edged with 'Black Soot' & 'Firebrick Red' distress inks & been distressed with my tolly thingy. I also turned over the bottom corner & inked both corners with the same distress ink.

The image is coloured with Promarkers, I've tried to make clothes look as tho they have dirty patches lol & the ball is covered with Glossy Accents. The metal looking letter beads are from my jewellery stash, they are acrylic beads. I love this image I think it shows what football is truly about.....no matter what colour shirt you wear you just love the sport, the true feeling of the game.....to me its what football is about 'the sport' why argue & fight about a sport that you both enjoy......its just pathetic!!.
Anyway over at Cards for men there challenge this week is 'Long Summer days', well all I've seen during the summer (when its NOT been raining) is lads & their dads playing football, kids see a field & they see a pretend goal with their jacket & out comes a football.
Will be back later with another card I'm away to tidy the bomb site that is my craft-room, it looks like a war zone......Speaking of which dont forget the card-drive for the soldiers...its a VERY worthwhile cause, check out my post on my side-bar!!!
Well thats it for now peeps I'm away see you all soonies, take care & thankyou for popping by....I will put the kettle on next time lol.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Cuddly Buddly Girly Teddy

Good evening peeps how you all doing......I bet those that have kiddies back at school are sighing with relief but missing them at the same time lol. Mine kiddie winkies dont start back until Thursday, what a silly day to start kids back on......already my youngest Jake is asking for the 2 days off as he reckons its just pointless going!!! 6 weeks is just not enough for them is it?? He's not impressed though because I said 'no'. I've still to get uniforms....AAARRGGGHHHH....I always say I'm not goning to leave until last minute again & guess what.....'I DO DO IT AGAIN'  I'm still waiting on Jake choosing his bag, aarrggghhhh teenagers!!!!!!
Anyway I will get on with my post & stop rattling on lol. This week over at PFP there challenge was 'Teddy Bears Picnic'.....now does that mean they have to be having a picnic or does it just mean Teddy Bears?? Well I went off the gorgeous DT inspiration & from their beautiful cards decided that as long as it has bears its fine..................eeeeekkk I hope so!!!
Here are my teddies.......
Here she is....isn't she such a cutie-pie! This is all kind of by accident though to be honest. I went to start the card on Friday BUT the Promarkers I wanted to use ran out...yes! both ends...aaarrggghh nightmare!! I had a voucher for Joanna Sheen so I went straight over to buy some Promarkers & a few more Promarkers, my gift voucher only covered half the damn cost in the end lol. Anyway I was hoping they would arrive today but here in the North East we still use 'pigeon mail'......really even wheelie bins can move faster 'In The Land That Time Forgot'.....thats what we call our little fishing village by the sea lol. Anyway cus they didn't come I got a bit of inspiration from 1 of my daughter's teddies......her favourite teddies I might add lol, I will show you as I pinched 1 to take my piccies.........ssshhhh don't tell her!!

YES....Tatty Teddy I absolutely adore these, this was the 1st 1 I grabbed lol. These sweet little bears are grey....so I decided who needed brown, I want to be different lol. The image is from Cuddly Buddly, I got the whole alphabet....actually its great what you get you should check it out! I printed 2 of the images off & printed the letters as well. I coloured both images & then just cut the bear out of 1 of them to make it layered, 3D. The letters were then glittered up with Cotton Candy stickles & all was attached with foam pads, obviously everything was coloured with PM's.
The papers, ribbon, & sentiment are from my stash. The cute safety pins & pink dummy on the bow I got from.....yeah you guessed it EBAY....lol. The pretty dew drops are from Crafty Emma's Store I love these little things they are sooo pretty. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This is the inside of the card, the shapes were cut from my nesties through the cuttlebug & I stamped this sentiment with a stamp I got from Paper Mill Direct about 6-7 weeks ago.....it was on sale at the time.....HALF PRICE....how could I refuse.....do you know thats illegal & you are committing a very serious crime if you pass up any sale, you just let your purse guide you to them sales....BUT dont ever forget to take HUBBY'S bank card in your purse with you!!!!!!

Oh yeah the flowers were also stickled up with..........Diamond Stickles, sorry I had to run across to the other side of my hobbit cus I couldn't remember which 1 he hee.
Well I'm going to see what other fab challenges there are that I can link it up to. I hope you like my card, its actually my 1st Baby card....the nearest I got once not so long ago was 1st birthday!! I am always eager to hear your comments I really dont mind whether good or bad I can only get better with honest opinions.

Tatty Bye for now peeps & from Me To You, sweet dreams.....(forgive the pun I couldn't resist lol)

Bye-D-Bye peeps
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Cowgirl's Sunday Challenge.....& a special event coming up!!

Hi everyone I'm running rather late today on my DT post as my daughter has not been well so this is the only chance I've had to do my post, so I'm just gonna get on with it peeps.
This week over at Cowgirl Up we have a new challenge for you, this is everyone's favourite so there is no excuse not to join in...
This week is 'AnythingGoes'

Our sponsor this week is the fab 'Michelle Perkett' & the winner will receive 3 images of their choice. Go over to her shop & take a peekskie at her images they really are fabulous....
The Top 3 also get to choose 1 image from Cowgirl Up Images, all winners get their badges as well to display on their blogs.
Here is my card for this week.....

This is 'Check Faery' & she is from Cowgirl Up & available here
The papers are Basic Grey 'Olivia' which I brought from Crafty Emma's Store I love these papers, the colours are beautiful. The corners were cut out using my cuttlebug. All the edges of everything were inked with 'Tattered Rose' distress ink & then the edges were distressed with my distressy tool lol. The ribbon is from my stash as to is the gem in the middle of the ribbon. The flowers I made myself out of cut out shapes which were then inked with 'Tattered Rose' & 'Worn Lipstick' distress inks, then wrinkled & screwed & once made up they were sprayed with lashings of CC shine 'n' spray.

This is the close up of the card.....the image is so pretty. I coloured her using Promarkers & the wings I coloured with a Sakurra Gelly pen.

This is a close up of the box, it is a Thankyou card with a box that also contains little thankyou postcards to send out to people that you may need to thank. Sorry I forgot to take pics of the notes, I actually took the pics over a week ago so I've not had chance to take new 1s today. The image is coloured the same way as the card. The flower I made but differently to the 1 on the card.
Well thats it for me on this challenge but please carry on reading as I have an announcement for an inportant event coming up.

Challenges I will enter with this card are.....

Right now onto this upcoming event which I think is quite an inportant 1 as I'm sure you will agree. The event is......

In next weeks challenge we are asking people to make christmas cards but not just to enter into the challenge but to send away to the soldiers fighting to protect us!!! They have no way of buying any cards but they would love to send their loved ones back home a christmas card to let then know they are missing them, maybe even more this time of year. Now I must stress though that there is to be NO GLITTER what-so-ever, these soldiers go out in all terrain & at night, they dress themselves in a way as they wont be seen, if you add glitter to your cards or anything that is glittery it may fall off onto a soldiers clothing thus making it easier for him to be seen!! I know this is hard for a lot of you, me included I love glitter lol, but PLEASE dont, thankyou.
There are a few sponsoring this event so there are a few goodies to be won so please join us in this special event.....pop on over to Cowgirl Up for more information. We think this is a fantastic thing to do & a chance to get ALL crafters involved.

PHEW.....that was a long post even for me lol.
Well I'm really gonna have to go now back to my little girl.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.
Thankyou so so much for visiting me & leaving your wonderful comments.
Lotsa hugs
Vicky xxx
