CES Challenges DT Card..........Children

Good morning my lovely friends. Yayyyyy its Saturday dont ya just love the weekends woo hoooo.

I have had the most hectic week poorly kiddies & poorly hubby, my sons turbo blew in his car which still isnt fixed as it needs a new air intake pipe which is what caused the damage in the first place & then there has been the fiasco at Natalie's school to sort out..... On top of this I've had the busiest crafting week EVER lol.........phew I've also got 2 creations to do over the weekend.......

Right anyway onto my post & as its Saturday that must mean its time for CES Challenges.

This week the lovely Sheena set the theme which is 'Children' so your creations can be for children or have children on them or both.

My mojo is wearing down a bit now I think I've done that much crafting this week lol......but just to stretch it a wee bit further I've done another male card.........check me out how brave am I lol.....actually I ordered this little fella off Emma & when he arrived in the week I knew I had to use him so Imanaged to get him coloured & onto a card last night......... yes I was cutting it fine lol.

Here is 'Skater Ben' by Whiff Of Joy, I am loving all their new ranges they are fabulous & I'm away to get their digi images later today lol. 

Used my circle cutter for the shape always forget I've got this thing its very rare I use it TBH. All edges were also distressed with me skissors lol.

The Happy Birthday is actually cut out of a birthday card that my hubby got for his birthday in Feb. I just cut the letters out & popped them on foam pads. The dude letters are from my jewellery making stash, for making phone charms, I just threaded bakers twine through the beads.

He is of course coloured with Copics, will try sort the colours used out later.

Inside is also decorated of course.

The white A4 card & brown A4 card for matting are from my stash, The papers are Basic Grey 'Oliver', it really is a fabulous pad, the blue paper I ripped in a slant to make it sort of look like a ramp. The papers, bakers twine & the WOJ stamp are all from Crafty Emma's Store.

Crafts & Me Blog Hop

Good evening all my lovely friends here I am with my 2nd post today.

Crafts and Me Challenges recently celebrated their 1st Anniversary and we have also taken on some new teamies which now includes a Digital Design Team plus new faces also on the Rockin Rubbah team so we thought we'd celebrate with a little blog hop!

New Ronnie Charity image...........plus a blog hop reminder

Good morning all my lovelies. Well its certainly been a busy week crafting & got few more DT creations to show you still over the weekend & Monday.......phew didnt think I would get them all done & some have been forgotten about til the last few hours lol.

Anyway this post is to tell you about a new Ronnie image.

Helen from Ellephantastic contacted Crafty Emma & asked if she could donate an image to help raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of Emma's dad. Emma's dad loved art & used to go an art class. So helen created 'Painting Ronnie' which is fabulous of her.

I know a huge amount of you have contributed towards this fabulous charity who run solely off donations, if there are no donations there would be no air ambulance & believe they are the hero's of the sky.

So PLEASE pop on over & buy this fabulous image for just £1.50......its nothing its pennies & you would be donating to a charity that could very well save one of your families life one day.

ALL proceeds go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Meet 'Ronnie Painting'

Now to be honest I totally forgot I said I would help Emma spread the word, it was only last night when she put her card on the DT blog & well lets say I left flames I rushed around that much. Its been one of those weeks in the Vicky household but here is Ronnie on the card I made.....remember it was a rush job & more to it its.....MALE themed lol.

Here is my card I also decoupaged Ronnie up to make him 3D which was by accident to TBH I  didnt like the first image I coloured so I printed him out again popped him on some foam pads & voila Ronnie 3D LOL. I even held my copic blender onto the red on the painting to make it look as tho he is an amature bless him lol. The card I use is fab the colours lie on top for nicer blending & you dont get any bleed which is a huge plus & very important to me anyway  lol. 

The papers are Basic Grey 'Oliver' which is a fab pad for those male cards. The buttons & brown glimmer card is from my stash as to is the Brother Charm but the scalloped card & Bakers Twine are from Crafty Emma's which is where you can also buy this fabulous image. On a completely different note there is a blog hop that kicks off tonight at 18.00 UK time. The blog hop is to celebrate Teresa's anniversary for Crafts & Me which has been going for a year now & also to celebrate her expanding DT team both on the Digi team & the rubber team. Crafty Purple Frog Challenges DT Creation

Good morning my friends how are you this morning? First I would like to welcome my 2 new followers...hi (waving like a loony) thank you soooo very much for following me I really do appreciate it. Well after a night of rain we actually have some sun now which is of course fab yesterday it was just miserable all day altho it wasn't cold I still had my window open in my hobbit, so shouldn't complain. Anyway thats it for the weather report up next is a DT creation lol.

Its time for Crafty Purple Frog Challenges & this fortnight the challenge is...

Anything But Square

No square cards at all lets see those shapes peeps.

I did a candle & then I made a box for it to go in....with an acetate front so you can still see the candle

This is 'The Glance' decoupage from Crafty Purple Frog Store. You can still put digi images onto candles & the good thing with these images is even tho they come as a decoupage you dont have to use every layer if you dont want to & they are fab for a quick make.

The candle I actually made before crimbo but then put it up & completely forgot about it til this week lol.

Sentiment on the back of the candle I also printed out.

The tag is made with a Magnolia die & the front fancy sides were made with a WOJ metal die.

Each side has been heat embossed with hologram embossing powder from Crafts & Me.

I made the box then decorated each side with lilac card from my stash. Everything is from my stash except the flowers which I got from Crafty Emma's.

The kids are giving this to my step-mum, their gran for mother's day. Just gotta order the bouquet of flowers & go fetch the present. Unfortunately Craig's mum died when he was 8 years old so we only have my

 step-mum so we tend to spoil her......well all mums should be spoilt.

Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card......& an apology

Good morning my lovely jubbly friends how are you all? Well the suns has gone its rather grey here today :0(

I am so sorry for not getting round to everyone's blogs yesterday would you believe Natalie has come down with that really bad flu again I cant believe it & my youngest was really bad last night so had to keep him off today.....this is a bad bug. Also we spent the day ringing garages for my eldest son has the turbo has gone in his car. So mum is his taxi at the min & the bank of mum & dad have had to open their doors once again...... children really do get more expensive the older they get........so we have a nice bill of a few hundred to pay out this week. Its booked in for Thursday tho so he will soon be back on the road yayyyy.

Anyway onto my card. As most of you know Crafts & Me are now weekly & this week you have 'The Rockin' Rubber' girls lol. This week our fabby boss Teresa has set the theme & the theme is

Yes we want to see yellow on your card. This took me out of my comfort zone & I have a large comfort zone lol. I'm not one for yellow. You know when you make a card & no matter what you are not pleased with it.......yeah well thats my card!! Here it is anyway....

I will say tho that the image I love & yes I cheated & went mono & just added touches of yellow but the paper is lemon & grey so thats my excuse......co-ordination lol.

The image of course is the beautiful 'Violet Angel' by Jasmine-Becket Griffith which is exclusive to  the

Crafts & Me store she is out of stock at the minute you have to be really quick to get her Teresa a fresh stock in & put it on the store at the night time by the following morning they were all gone lol. So she is currently waiting on new stock arriving but go check out all of her others stamps including the fab range of Kraft Kimmie stamps.

The glitter used on the image is also from Crafts & Me here.

Everything else on this card is from my stash even the fabric sentiment which I found lol. The lace actually has lemon ribbon running down the middle but it doesn't show too clearly on the photo.

Angel Of Hope

Good evening my lovely friends hope you've all had a fab weekend. Mine was great just me & the family nothing better than that. Thank you to everyone who has wished luck for today regarding Natalie. We are keeping her off school until the matter is dealt with. Her stomach is so much worse she got loads of yellow bruising around the wound & it has become a little infected so at the mo I'm changing dressings a couple of times a day & dressing it with anti-septic. We didnt bother ringing the school & went straight to the authority they said they rang us back & said the headmaster was in meetings all day but either them or the headmaster would ring us back.........yeah well we are still waiting. I'm not gonna moan on tho as I lost a follower over the weekend maybe they dont like people moaning.....this is why I'm not a moaner or ranter lol. So I'm sorry for having my bit of a rant & moan like I said its extremely rare I do it there are just so many more important things in life.....so it wont be often I do on here.

Anyway onto tonights card which I made with Natalie in mind its a stamp I got for crimbo I finally inked her up a couple of weeks ago & coloured her but didnt get her onto a card until tonight, so here she is....

This is 'Angel Of Hope' by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD & I think my hubby got her from Quixotic Paperie.

I cant even remember what I coloured her with sorry peeps. This I send to everyone out there who needs hope in their life at the moment she is there to help in bad times when we need that bit of hope........

I really do love this stamp & I really enjoyed making this card. I didnt make it for any challenges it was just spur of the moment & this is what the moment brung me to.

The papers are Websters & I've added spring Flower Soft along the bottom. The inside is decorated to

 match the front but without the organza, lace & pearls which are all from my stash.

The papers & flowers are all from Crafty Emma's Store who has a 10% discount this week so get yourself over these before she sells out of a lot of stuff. Us DT girls made sure we put our order in pronto before the rush lol.

Sailing Boat..........

Good afternoon I half made a card late last night it was really late hence only half finished lol. I've had a fab weekend just spending it with Craig & kids playing on the xbox & watching movies.......what could be better.

This afternoon tho I thought I would get my card finished & colour up my image, yes I usually colour my images 1st but for some strange reason I didnt. I've actually made a male card & I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A talented blogging friend has been inspiring me, inspiring me so much I had to buy some more stamps lol. Vicky is so very talented.....no its not an imaginary friend if you dont believe me pop over here to see her beautiful cards.....they are all sooooo stunning I love 'em.

This is 'Sailing Boat' from LOTV  & I followed a fabulous sketch.

The inside to compliment the front but kept it basic.

Dark brown A4 card & Kraft card from my stash also the charm & buttons are from my stash.

Papers are the 2nd new set of Websters 'Spring/Yacht/Country' which are perfect for this image.

Papers, Bakers Twine &Card Candy are from Crafty Emma's.

The star I cut out of Kraft Card & then placed 2 rub-ons on it which I found in my folders, I always forget about them lol. The star & the corners were edged in walnut distress ink.

The edges of the card & the paper were cut with a wavy line with my 12x12 CC cutter, I always forget it has that function, would you believe it was hubby who reminded me lol.
