Saturated Canary Facebook Challenge - Miss Personality

Hello everyone how are you all? Sorry I've been MIA I've been on decorating my living room all week so had no time to craft :0(

Anyhoo's I'm here today with a card for Saturated Canary & we are doing another challenge on Facebook which is..........

MISS PERSONALITY

...........yep just make something using the fabulous Miss Personality that Krista released not so long ago. I love this image I think its the glasses & the spotty tights..........shes just fabulous!!!

For those that havn't seen the image yet, this is 'Miss Personality', she's just so cool isn't she, I love her!! 

The seam binding is from my stash & the round pearls are from Bunny Zoes.

This is the inside which I've done the same as the front. I've used the gorgeous Maja Design Vintage Summer 6x6 pad. I've inked the edges with Walnut distress ink & machine sewn them.

All the WOC flowers are from Live & Love Crafts, the leaves were cut with a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die. I've added a 'Metal Corner' which I painted with 'Gesso'.

I will tell you the Copic colours I used on Miss Personality.

I also added Glossy Accents to her glasses ;0)

The tags are Magnolia Vintage Tags which I inked with pumice stone & walnut distress ink & then stamped Stempelglede 'Just A Note' sentiments on each. The gorgeous lace is Maya Road Crochet & is soooooo gorgeous.

Ok I'm off now, actually this is scheduled & I'm already off lol, its my grandsons 1st birthday today. Yes Arjay is 1 year old, can you believe it was a year ago today when I delivered this gorgeous little boy on my driveway early hours in the morning, at just 29 weeks gestation. He's had a tough first year but boy has he done so well. He's spent more than half his life in a brace & cast for his hips so he still can not sit unaided or crawl yet but he has the most gorgeous smile. He also moves around that floor from rolling over constantly lol. He's just awesome & we are all so so proud of our little fighter Arjay.

Live and Love Crafts DT Canvas - Viva Forever

Hi everyone Im back again with my DT creation for Live & Love Crafts.

Ok so the theme for this week for us DT girls is Spice Girls...........yep a strange one I know. Basically we have to create something that has something to do with Spice Girls. I went with a song they did, its called Viva Forever & I took a few words from that song & made a canvas for my daughter's bedroom..........which is shabby chic, or it will be soon when its done lol.

The pics are not great it was hard to take photo's but I will try to get better ones today. Also there are a few lol.

Now I had no plan, no layout........tbh I had nothing in mind when I did this except the words & it was for my daughter. I basically hoped it would turn out alright lol.

The large letters are form my stash & I covered them with SnowTex mixed with a few drops of Tattered Rose distress ink, it was like pink frosting lol. Once it was dry I then added bits of Gesso.

For those who dont know the song the words are taken from the chorus............

Viva forever, I'll be waiting, 

Everlasting like the sun, 

Live forever, for the moment, 

Ever searching for the one. 

My daughter is the strongest lady I know, she has been through so much in her 22 years & yet still is able to smile like this in the picture below. She is amazing, this is a reminder to live for the moment..............maybe more of a reminder to us.

Isn't she gorgeous. I've added a strip from a Maja Design paper saying 'I Love You'. I printed another photo of Natalie smalled & glued it to a Glass Pebble & then attached that to a clip slide from my stash to attach to the strip. Underneath is 'Cheese Cloth' & 2 Doilies.

This is one of the gorgeous Prima Resin Angels, I love these...........I think they are totally perfect for Natalie ;0) Of course I've added Gesso here, there & EVERYWHERE lol, you can also see more of the snowtex ;0)

The sticker is Prima from my stash. The small clock is a Marianne die & I've added 'Spinners' as clock hands. The little vial bottle is from my stash & I've added tiny micro beads inside.

I stamped 'Made With Love' using the new Stempelglede 'Just A Note' stamp set. I also added a Prima Junkyard Zipper, this one says 'Precious' on.

The sentiment I did with my  Dynamo thingy.

I've used 2 Maja papers from the Sofiero collection & I added Gesso all over the papers to soften them. Of course added lots of flowers & other foofy bits ;0)

Bunny Zoes Challenge GDT Card

Hi everyone hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Sorry I've not been on, me & hubster had from Saturday afternoon to ourselves for some quality time & we kept off all latops/computers, Ipads, phones.......off the internet in general & had a lovely weekend together.

Anyway its time for a new challenge over at Bunny Zoes & this month its super easy..........

I've used one of the fabby new Magnolia Special stamps Nikki has recently got into her store.

I have used the yummy Dripp Dropp Tilda, I love this stamp.

The butterflies are Magnolia stamps & I stamped them with blue memento then heat embossed them with 1 layer of UTEE then layered them onto Tim Holtz On The Edge Butterflight.

The wide cream lace is from my stash.

I coloured Dripp Dropp Tilda with Distress Markers & stamped the corner with the text stamp from the Magnolia Butterfly stamp.

I've used Magnolia papers, distressed them a little, inked them up with Pumice Stone then machine stitched them.
