Daisy Chain

Hello everyone I'm here with a wee bit of a creation using the utterly gorgeous products that Sandy stocks. I am running late today as I'm busy decorating my kitchen & although I made this card beginning of this week I then totally forgot to write up the post ready.........yep Thicky Vicky.
Ok I better get on ;0)
I have used more of the super delicious Maja Design 'Coffee In The Arbour' papers, I lust love all the colours in this collection.
All links to products used from LLC are at the bottom of the post.
The shape I've used a Go-Kreate die, I lurve shaped cards. Sorry some of the pics are not great :0(

This is the inside, I've not put a place to write yet as I wanted to show you the gorgeous papers. This top one is called 'Rose Garden' 12x12 & I think its my favourite sheet of this collection, maybe lol. I have inked all the edges with Walnut & machine sewn them as always.
Of course I've added Gesso here & there & I'm addicted to the Bark Hearts, so one of them had to go on.
The gorgeous charm is called 'My Garden' which I thought was perfect for this card. I also added some Gesso to it.
I have used a LOTV stamp called 'Daisy Chain' & coloured her with distress markers & distress ink re-fills. I have also added a bit of Shabby White Fran-Tage around the image. For the colour on the frame I used 2 distress inks, first I used Tattered Rose then I went over the top with Milled Lavender, I love how the colour has turned out. The frame is an old Spellbinders one I've had for years which I think are now discontinued. I have a lot of emails about this frame but sadly I dont think you can buy this from anywhere now. :0(

I added 'Cheese Cloth' & 'Doilies' underneath. Just above the Organza Rose Trim I added a gorgeous 'Crown Sphere' Pearl Pin. I havn't added a sentiment yet as I'm not sure what the card is for ;0)
All links to products used are below.

Thats it from me, I have decorating to get back to.........however at the minute hubster has gone out to buy me a new Sewing Machine for my birthday in a few days.........I'm sure he will let me have it early so guess what I will be playing with tonight lol.
Hope you all have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by, it really means the world to me.
Tatty bye & take care, Love Vicky xxx

A Creative Romance Challenge DT Card - Patriotic

Hello everyone how are you all? Well we have been quite busy in the kitchen these last couple of days & we are getting there......very slowly lol.
Ok time for a brand new challenge over at A Creative Romance & as its the 4th July our challenge is....
PATRIOTIC - SHOW US YOUR COLOURS
.......Yep just show us a creation showing us the colours of your flag. Easy peasy right ;0)
Now I know I'm english & live in the UK but I lurve the american flag........I mean LOVE it, I would love get my hands on a vintage fabric one...... :0) Also I wanted to use this fabulous stamp that had still not been inked or out of its packet & its just awesome!!!
I have done a very similar layout to this before, so thought I would sort of replicate it ;0)
Isn't this just an aweosme stamp, I love it........yes I know so why did it take me so long stamp it.... I was saving it for a special occasion & todays the day yayyyyyy lol. Thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it ;0)
I havn't coloured an House Mouse stamp since my first year of crafting, gonna have to rectify that now ;0)

I made a banner with a Flag die from WOJ that I've had forever, I have just used 2 of the flags though. The '5Av' charm is from my stash.........not sure where its originally from though :0(

I have also decorated the inside with this awesome paper which was FREE, yep free as a bird!! Would you like the link to this gorgeous digital paper pack?? Of course you would HERE it is ;0)
Now the front cover that comes with the download with the samples of each paper I used here inside, I just cropped off what I wanted in PSP & printed it out. I think it looks cool & whats more unique ;0)

The ribbons are form my stash, the gingham one is an East Of India one, which I do tend to neglect. The charm is also from my stash & again cant remember where its originally from, sorry peeps. Psst do you notice anything? Flowers.........yes there are NO flowers!! ;0)

The stamp is called 'Spangled Mice' & is a cling stamp by House Mouse, I coloured the image with Copics. My aim was to make the fabric American Flag vintage looking, so instead of white I went with a dirtier kinda cream........to match the papers & the whole theme. I've never coloured HM images with copics before & tbh concentrated on the flag & didnt realise I havn't done enough shading on the mice :0( So not happy about that, but will do better next time.

The papers have all been inked with walnut distress ink & machine stitched. My sewing machine started playing up so the stitching isn't perfect. I think hubster jinxed me as yesterday he asked me if I would like a new sewing machine for my birthday next week.......he definately jinxed me. Ok last thing to mention is the corner which is a Marianne die which I got in Nikki's FABULOUS sale, 40% off this & many, MANY others. Here is the link to the corner die.

Ok thats it for me, I have Danish Oil to put on some wood today.......oooh I lurve working with wood especially when its something thats gonna bring out the beauty of wood. Please pop on over to see my uber talented teamies creations, they are so talented these girlies are...........they are awesome!!

Thank you so much for stopping by it really means the world. Please dont forget about my candy please my lovelies. Link is at the top in the sidebar, thanks my darlings.

Tatty bye, enjoy your day & to all our American friends & also my Uncle Ken who lives out there with his lovely wife Teresa..........HAPPY 4TH JULY, have a great Independance Day xxxxxxxxx

Midway Reminder for Midweek Magnolia's and New Deep Ocean Challenge

Hello again its me, lol well like its gonna be anyone else doh!!
Ok I am back this time with 1 creation but for 2 DT's, yep ran out of hours so they are sharing the one creation.......we are kinda busy behind the scenes but cannot show you yet ;0)
Ok so I have a midway reminder for Midweek Magnolia's & their theme is......
STITCHING - True or Faux
......and we also have a new challenge over at Deep Ocean Challenge & the theme is....
ADD A SENTIMENT
Both are super duper easy peasy really.
Now I made this last week, then forgot to take pics.........yep I'm good like that lol. So I know I showed you a gift bag yesterday but this one is another gift bag but instead made by me ;0)
I have made this Go-Kreate dies, I used XXL Frame Frilly #3 die for this. The super gorgeous paper is of course Maja Design from Live & Love Crafts, all edges were distressed slightly, inked with walnut & machine sewn as always. I never make anything now without sewing the papers lol.

This is where my sentiments are for Deep Ocean Challenge lol.
This is the back of the gift bag. I've added a Canvas Corp mini bag over the top of a Heart Doily. The seam binding is from my stash & also the 'Handmade' plaque is at the bottom.
The verse on the Mini Bag is Stempelglede 'Just A Note' stamp set. The lace is also from LLC.

Inisde the Mini Bag is 2 tags that I made with a WOJ Tag die that I've had forever. The sentiments on each of the tags are again from the Stempelglede 'Just A Note' stamp set

Here you can see I decorated the sides & added buttons & metal thingy-ma-jigs that I've had in my stash forever lol.

I added the same button again to centre of the seam binding bows. The heart I cut out with Spellbinder dies & also machine sewn around the paper, you can see the stitching better in this pic.

The stamp of course is Magnolia 'Tilda With Dot Bow' & I coloured her with distress ink markers........ I found her in my coloured up box all cut out ready to use. I do remember masking her with something but the other thing I didnt like how the colouring looked so I fussy cut her......... So instead she is lying on Magnolia's 'Lovely Fence', yes I know it must be uncomfy but ssshhhh lol. The roses are from LLC & the rolled flowers I made using a MB die & pink card & added 'White Gesso' to them. The leaves are Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns' these always sell out quickly at Bunny Zoes but Nikki will have some more in soon. Guess they are not just my favourite lol.

Well thats it from me today, I'm gonna go get armed with a paint brush now.............no not for painting stamped images either, though I wish I was crafting. Although tbh what hubster is doing I'm rather excited about...........sssshhhh its a secret but one thats saving me a canny penny or 2 lol.

Thank you so much for stopping by my lovelies mmwah.
Tatty bye & enjoy your day xxxxxxxxx

Boy Wonder

Hi everyone, how are you all doing? I'm here with a super duper quick post today with my DT card for Bunny Zoes, also to tell you I'm now a permanent member of Bunny Zoes woo hoo, yep Nikki was brave enough to ask me to stay.........of course I wasn't going to say no ;0) Thank you Nikki sweetie mmwah.
Today I'm here with a little bit of a CAS creation, yep I'm quite liking CAS cards, dont worry though my foofiness is here to stay as well lol.

Ok so I'm here with a stamp from CC Designs.........
...........this is Pollycraft 'Nipper', isn't he a cutie. I cheated quite a bit with this card, I coloured him with Copics but I paper pieced his T-Shirt, Shorts & even his little Bucket lol. I used the scraps from the papers I used on the card. I fussy cut him out & popped him onto foam pads.

The yummy colourful papers are MME 'Boy Crazy' which are fab & colourful for those hard little boys cards ;0) The 'Boy Wonder' sentiment is also from the pad. I machine sewn all layers of papers.
All the coloured card & the button are form my stash as is the card blank itself.
You know when you have an idea in your head what your card is gonna look like?.........yeah this turned out NOTHING like that.......really, nothing at all :0(

Items used............

All of the above items are of course from Bunny Zoes, each link will take you directly to each item.
Also dont forget about the HUGE SUMMER SALE!!!!!!!!! Yes SALE peeps, go on, go shopping & treat yourself.............fill that basket right up & believe me with this awesome sale you can do.
There are also lots of new goodies that Nikki has coming in & some that have already arrived.......
Also 40% off Marianne D, 40% THATS HUGE!! Even I've took advantage of that sale & got a few new dies ;0)
Well go on, what you waiting for...............SHOP!!!!!!!!!!! ;0)

Thats it from me, this is actually scheduled so I'm hoping Mr Blogger doesnt let me down.
I will also be back later with another DT card..........
Tatty bye & squishy hugs Vicky xxx

Live & Love Crafts Challenge DT Card

Good morning everyone I'm running late this morning I've had a very poorly hubster & than I wasn't too good last night. I also thought there were 31 days in this month when I realised at 7pm last night there wasnt & I had my DT creation to email to Sandy for todays challenge...........well it was a rush lol. The first image didnt work out with my distress markers so I got out my copics & coloured another & set on rushing my ass off.............lol
Luckily the theme is quite apt for me its...............
BY THE SEA
.................yep as I live by the sea & LURVE the sea this project took no thinking & flowed together ;0) So come & join us girlies over at Live & Love Crafts with your By The Sea creations ;0)
I have made a gift bag............I thought this would be a perfect thing to send a gift to someone special............a gift from by the sea which is perfect for me, it would take me about 4-5 mins get to the beach walking........yet usually I travel a couple of miles up the road & go a different beach tbh.

I have used lots of yummy stuff from LLC, I will list everything at the bottom. Love this gorgeous 'Key Charm' & I've used some gorgeous shabby seam binding.

This is the back of the gift bag, gone a wee bit simpler on the back. Of course no sea project is complete without some Cheesecloth & some Jute fabric ;0) The smaller coloured shell & the larger shell are from the beach itself a LONG time ago lol. I've added a Canvas Mini bag & cut a tag from Shoreline Treasures Tags 12x12 sheet, added string & seam binding. The image I cut from from Bottom Of The Sea sheet & attached it to the front.

At the top of both the front & back I made holes in the top 2 corners & attached metal eyelets & using string from my stash & added knots along it. In the centre I added a bunch of keys charm, love this charm.......will def be getting more of these.

You can see I've done the same to the front but added a different charm & instead used a Life Buoy charm, as all beaches need one of those. I also made 2 paper scrolls & tied them with a bit of Bakers Twine, well I pulled the twine apart & just used the dark blue threads ;0)

All the flowers are aldo from LLC & the rolled roses are Kort og Godt. I've added a gorgeous Shabby Bark Heart, I have to say these are my favourite things to use. I've also added a little Vial bottle there & my son went & got me some sand from the beach to put in it, hubster washed it first though for me.......wow you should have seen the dirt come out eewww!!

The image is of course by Hannah Lynn for Crafts & Me & its been a long time since I coloured one of these up but as soon as I thought of by the sea, I thought instantly of Hannah Lynn Mermaids.
This is 'Violet', she is a digi image & I coloured her with my Copics, colours used are below........
E11, E21, E00, E000, RV21 - Skin
E49, E47, E44, E43, E40 - Hair
B97, B95, B93, B91, B00 - Blues
E29, E27, E23, E21 - Wood
 YR27, YR24, YR21, YR00 - Sun
R39, R35 - Lips
B00 for the background. I also added string to the wood for a bit of realism ;0)
It was a bit of a rush so I'm not 100% happy with the hair but that will teach me to be thick lol.

The totally yummy papers are from Pion Shoreline Treasures collection, wow am I glad I brought this collection...........I love blues for crafting & these are just so gorgeous. The ones I've used are 'Sailing', possibly my fave as the writing side is lush!! The stripey one is 'Seashells' again I used the reverse side. All papers I have distressed, inked with walnut & machine sewn. The little sentiment I cut from 'Bottom Of The Sea' 6x6 sheet.
Both the gorgeous laces are from LLC, the bottom one is called 'Lace Leonore' & is OMG so pretty IRL.

Items used.............All from Live & Love Crafts

I have also added a wooden heart button which is from my stash. However Sandy has recently started stocking gorgeous Shabby Wooden Heart buttons which are so much prettier, here is the link.

Well I think thats it form me, phew thats a long post, sorry my lovelies.
Thank you so so much for all your support it really does mean so much to me.
Mmwah you are the best!!!!!
Tatty bye, take care & see yas sooooooon, as my lovely granddaughter says lol.
