Little Party Girl With Love

Well helloa everyone how are you all? Guess what its the weekend.................yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! You gotta love weekends havn't ya!!
I have been colouring with my copics lately & brought a few new digi images & stamps. I am showing you a new digi today.........well new to me lol. I've even gone for a clean, simple style.............yes dont worry its still me...........Thicky Vicky ;0)
Ok here is the card......................
This is a digi image from All Dressed Up, I brought a few of them & I sooooooooo enjoyed colouring her.

I kept it simple to let the image stand out........yea not very often I go for that style lol. The uber gorgeous papers are Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basic 'NO. XXII' & Vintage Autumn Basics 6x6 pad. I inked the edges with Walnut ink & machine stitched all the papers.

This image is called '3 Little Party Girls', yep there is only 1 here but you get 3 images merged as one but also get the 3 images separately as well........which is fab!!! She is of course coloured with Copics, colours used are listed below............
E11, E21, E00, E000, R32, R20 - Skin
E49, E47, E44, E43, E40 - Hair
B97, B95, B93, B91 - Dress & Hair Bows
C5, C3, C1, C00 - Bow on Dress
C5, C3, C1 - Shoes
W5, W3, W2, W1, W0 - Ground

The scalloped Pearls are from WOC. I made rolled flowers with a Memory Box die & added flat pearls inside. The leaves are Magnolia Doo-Hickey. The sentiment was cut from some East Of India ribbon from my stash, & the Blue Bulldog clip I've had forever lol.
The image you can get with lots of others at All Dressed Up Etsy shop, they also do digi papers as well. I could possibly get addicted to these............

Well that's all from me its Saturday so that means I get to spend the day with all my family & lots os squishy hugs with my grandchildren.............woo hoo.

Thank you so so much for all your lovely comments & for your continued support, it means a lot.
Will be back tomorrow with a new stamp (for me lol) & my usual foofy style will also be back tomorrow lol.

Saturated Canary DT Inspiration Post

Well howdy doody my lovelies how are you all?
I'm here today with an inspiration post for the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog. The challenges have now stopped over there but instead there will be daily inspiration using Krista's fab images from the DT & inspiration from other various crafters that may turn our eye. However there will be fabulous give aways on the Saturated Canary Facebook page.

My image today is the very reason why I love digi images.............of course I lurve getting inky with rubber too. However I love the versatility of digi images, resizing, cropping ect ect..........
This image I coloured up months ago & this is the card I made last week that I didnt know if I liked it or not.............
This image I have mirrored so she faces the other way & also cropped as this image I thought would pass as an easter image.

The lace is from my stash. The flowers are from LLC.

The die is a Joy Crafts die which I cut in half.

The gorgeous image is 'Lily, Bo & Peep' I have cropped the image so Bo & Peep are not on here, they are being looked after though ;0)
I love digi images cus even when an image is more inclined for a certain occasion by cropping it it makes it suitable for any occasion like this one.
I have coloured her with copics but as it was months ago when I coloured it, I dont have the colour list I'm afraid :0(

The gorgeous papers are Vintage Autumn Basics 6x6 pad, I've inked the edges with walnut & machine stitched them. The 'Metal Corner' I covered with white fran-tage. The rolled flowers I made with a MB Die with the same papers & the leaves are Joy Crafts die.

Pop on over to the challenge blog for some daily inspiration from my talented teamies.

Thank you soooooo much for stopping by I am getting around to you all slowly. I'm taking my grandson & Megan to the RVI today but I will catch up with you later.

Take care lovelies, toodles.

Midweek Magnolia's Mid-Way Reminder

Hello I'm here today with my DT card for the Midweek Magnolia's Midway Reminder & the challenge this fortnight is............
NEW STASH
..................I've used the other coloured up Tilda I did in lilac, so she is new as I stamped them both the same time ;0) My other new stash are, the papers, flowers, lace & sentiments.
I have used the new Pion Flower Frames that was in my crimbo stash, this one is called 'Viola' OMG its sooooooooo darn pretty, I need to get ALL of them now!!!

I used a Go-Kreate die for the 2nd layer, all papers were inked with Pumice Stone, lightly distressed & machine stitched.
The sentiments are from my new LOTV stamps hubster got me for christmas, these are 'Sentiment Tags' & I placed them in a Tim Holtz clip with added fran-tage ;0)
This is the inside to compliment the front. I've used the frame on the upper side to attach a verse to at a later date. The gorgeous lace is 'Madeline' & the Lilac Seam Binding is from my stash & I distressed it myself.
I added a Magnolia 'Swirl' die, 'Bark Star', 'Metal Corner' which I covered in Sahbby White
Fran-Tage.

I have used the uber cute Magnolia 'Prima Ballerina' from the Little Circus Moscow collection. She is coloured with my Distress Markers.

The WOC flowers are all from LLC & I added Magnolia 'Leaf' die-cuts. I have added a doily from my stash & made a double bow with the seam binding, the Cabochon was from LLC & the 'Believe' charm was from Crafts & Me. The die behind the image is a Joy Crafts die.

My Photo Booth

Hi everyone how are you all?
Well things are changing some what at the Pass household with some building work soon. At the moment our bungalow is quite big, especially for a bungalow, we have 2 bathrooms, 1 is classed as a wet room & has a walk in shower, sink & toilet. The bathroom is at the bottom of the bungalow but can also be reached from Natalie's bedroom as well as the passage way, that consists of toilet, sink, bath & shower above bath. The problem is that only 1 person at any given time can bathe Natalie using the shower & a large bath aid that goes over the bath........we dont have the equipment for her to actually have a bath & she is way too heavy to lift out ourselves. Anyway Natalie does require at all times at least 2 adults caring for her & when bathing her 1 either side of the bath. Unfortunately 1 side of our bath is against a wall & as the bathroom is a good size its not big enough to turn the bath around & allow a wheelchair all around both sides. If ever we fall ill a carer will refuse to care for Natalie because there is no room for 2 people. So they are going to build Natalie her own bathroom, an extension on her bedroom, she will have complete privacy as it will just be hers. We have told them leave the toilet out as she is in nappies & that way we can add a lot of storage..........believe me she needs it just for her medical stuff.
Luckily we have a large/ish garden but the problem is one of the sheds we have at the side needs to be removed as it will block light from Natalie's new windows. The extension will lead off her large window, so her window has to be re-sited. So I am giving up my hobbit as a craft room so hubster can use it as a shed & instead hubster is converting the conservatory into a craft room. It's the only option we have, it has disadvantages & advantages, the biggest advantage is I wont be at the bottom of the garden & will still be with my family as the living room is right next to it. The other advantage is its bigger although with windows all around I dont have upper wall space.

Anyway I will stop rambling on & show you my photo booth that my hubster made me. Now I have had loads of emails asking about where I take my photo's of the cards ect & if I take them daytime or night-time. So I thought I would show you while I remember & before I move out of my hobbit (although wont be a bit yet as hubsters hand has to heal)
Excuse the shelf underneath its got old photo's of my kids on (Ben is just 15 here, he's just turned 23 lol) & some sentiment stamps that have still got be opened & stored properly.
Anyway as some of you remember we brought old tatty kitchen units for my craft room, I painted them all up & added new handles as they were not nice at all.

The little cupboard was the one above the cooker & I think it had an extractor fan below it. As I've got enough storage in my craft room I could afford to lose this cupboard...............

.............. & use this as my photo booth. It was hubsters suggestion & he covered the entire inside of the cupboard with Matt Self Adhesive Vinyl, it might work the same with gloss not sure. We brought 2 light strips with bright daylight bulbs in them & attached 2 inside the cupboard, 1 either side. We placed them diagonally to distribute the light all over (this was my idea lol)

This picture was took without the flash on on my camera so you could see how dark the cupboard truly is.
P.S. Excuse the little candle, I placed small vanilla candles in all the cupboards to keep them smelling nice lol.

This photo is with no flash & with the lights on, I placed a can in there to show you the brightness.
For those that ask what I spray my flowers with when I want to soften the colour, this is what I use.

This is a wooden sign my hubster brought me, he saw it in a shop when he was out one day & thought of me & got it for my craft room, fab isn't it & so true, I love it!!

Basically you could make anything as a photo booth as long as you use daylight bulbs as they are the best true light there is. If you dont have the room to keep to do this then I highly recommend the light tents, they are mega cheap, come with different colour backgrounds & most importantly fold into a small square. Before this cupboard thats what I used, again though make sure you have the right lights & use daylight bulbs...........your lights will make or break it. Also if your camera has Macro on it.........use it, its meant for close ups & instead of taking your camera towards the object, zoom in, you get a much better picture by zooming instead of taking your camera closer.........its why we have that feature ;0)

Well I hope thats answered some of your questions. It doesnt really matter where you take your photo's but good lighting & the right settings on your camera DO matter, they make all the difference.

Will be back tomorrow with a DT card.
Tatty bye lovelies will be round soon to see you all mmwah
