Live and Love Crafts DT Card

Hello everyone, well its saturday again which means its my turn to show you some inspiration today over at Live & Love Crafts. As you know Sandy has the gorgeous new Maj Design 'Nyhavn Limited Edition' in her store & all the DT girlies are using them this week to show you the prettiness.

Its a tough job but hey someone's gotta do it lol ;-)

I've gone pink & I've gone vintage..........how could I not when I received this beautiful image.......think its one of my faves tbh.

I added a Resin Heart Lock, I love these!!! There are also 3 lots of laces/trims on this. All links to items used are at the bottom of this post.

I added lots of flowers, a Bark Heart & a Wooden Heart Button with a charm hanging from it.

You can also see the gorgeous pink rose tulle trim better here.

The gorgeous image is by Sagen & is their Vintage Mix sheet...........so much prettiness on this sheet.

I layered the image onto some corrugated card which got the gesso treatment.

The papers are gorgeous, I distressed them & inked them, I didnt sew them as my sewing machine is not set up yet in my new craft room. In fact I only have half my stuff set up, its like a War Zone in there............such a mess.........Hopefully will be unpacked & sorted this time next week, fingers crossed lol.

Saturated Canary Facebook Challenge DT Card

Hi everyone, how are you all? Hope the weather isn't too bad where you are. 

Ok so I have a card for you today for the new Saturated Canary Facebook challenge & its an easy peasy one.......

ANYTHING GOES

.........yay exactly what I needed at the mo as my craft room............well tbh the less said the better at the mo........ To put it in 2 words...........WAR ZONE lol.

I soooooooooo wanted to use one of the new images but my printer decided to not work properly, by the time hubster had fixed it I was half way through this card & it was quite late!!

The super gorgeous papers are Maja Design 'Coffee In The Arbour' 6x6 pack. As you can see there is no stitching on as I've not set my sewing machine back up yet :-( I dont have half my stuff set up tbh...........I tell ya I aint moving craft rooms again lol.

The die-cut flower under the rose is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die & I cut it with paper from the same collection. The leaves are a Memory Box die. Pearls from my stash.

This super gorgeous image is a digi image called 'Bubbling Love' & she is coloured with copics.

Of course inside is decorated as always. For the punched edges I used a Martha Stewart PATP Punch. I've kept the card quite simple as I really love this image & I thought the papers went perfectly with the image, especially as the image wasn't even coloured to match these papers lol.

Here are the details for the challenge.

You can make any creation you like be it card, scrap page, an altered something, smash book/journal page etc...just let your creativity go!

The prize, as always, will be 2 digital images of your choice from the shop and the rules are super simple too..

* you can enter ONLY ONCE. 

( this makes it fair for everyone )

* you can enter with any FINISHED creation but...IT MUST BE HANDCRAFTED. 

(digital colouring of Krista's images is not permitted in accordance to TOU's)

A Christmas Card

Hello everyone I found this still in drafts on my blog, actually I have another one there as well. They are christmas cards I made but didnt get chance to blog before christmas.

Ok tbh this one I wasn't going to blog as I really dont like it but...........well I hear we blog the good, the not so good & the bad. Problem is............none of you blog anything bad :-(

Please blog something cruddy to cheer me up ;-) wink wink

Ok so here is the card..........the weather on it matches a few places at the mo, so I hope you are all keeping safe & warm.

So the papers are Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics '1st of December' & '10th of December' I think. I distressed & stitched all around the edges & I also added 'Snowtex' to them.

The lace, bells & charm are from Live & Love Crafts. Sndy has closed her store for 2 weeks but you can still browse through her gorgeous products & prepare for when she returns ;-)

The image is from Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics 'Christmas Die-Cuts'. I added Pearl Snowflakes to it as well. The 'Ice Skate' die is from Tracy's Noor Design Shop here in the UK. The corner die is also a Joy Crafts die & I added Shabby Blue Frantage to it. The candles are from a Marianne Design die & I cut them out in corrugated card & then added Gesso & Snowtex. The ponsettia is a La La Land Crafts die.

Ok thats that card shown..........would you believe I even sent it to someone..........tbh I wouldnt have done if I had time to make another to replace it :-(

Ok I better get going as I have lots to do still & DT work to do..........if I am not back tomorrow then pray & call the rescue services...........it could mean I'm buried alive beneath papers & stamps!!!

I'm definately going now (yes mentally insane.....oh no wait I was already there wasn't I??) Before I go I would like to say a HUGE thankyou for your lovely comments & for your support while I'm a bad blogger at the mo...........you have no idea how much I truly appreciate it mmwah, loves ya all.

Saturated Canary DT Card & New Release Info

Hi peeps, how are you all? Those who are having bad weather right now, take care, keep warm & most of all stay safe.

Ok so I'm here today with my DT card for Saturated Canary & I've used the gorgeous 'May'. This image I coloured up AGES ago, as soon as she was released tbh.......

'May' is from the New Years Special bundle right here. I printed her out a little larger than I normally do as I wanted her to shine right out of the card, yep I even kept my foofiness down a tiny bit lol.

The lace, rose pearl trim & shabby seam binding are all from Live & Love Crafts. The pearl button in the centre of the bow is from my stash.

The papers are the gorgeous Maja Design Autumn Basics, the bottom layer is 'No. ll 12x12' & the top layer is from the Autumn Basics 6x6 pad. All papers have been stitched as always.

All the flowers are WOC from Live & Love Crafts.

For the shape I used a Go-Kreate die.

The image was coloured with copics, colours used are....

RV99, RV95, RV93, RV91, RV0000

Thank you sooooooo much for stopping by, I am in total chaos here as the move round has gone slow............so its messy believe me lol. Luckily I made this card a few days ago.
