To My Sweetheart

Hello my lovelies how are you all? A quickie post for me today as I have so much to do & I'm also hoping the weather stays nice so I can go for a run later, I'm gonna run around the lake........maybe take some bread feed the swans & ducks lol. Fingers crossed for me NOT falling in lol.

Okie doke the creation I have made today I did bit by bit over the course of a couple of days just when I had time lol. Its for the Ribbon Girl's Challenge blog which is a colour theme, so also decided go along the vintage route as well.

PIC HEAVY also sorry for the not so good pics it was hard to photo & so therefore doesn't do it justice :0(

I made a gift bag, I have sooooooooo many of these gift bags that I thought it was about time I used them more..........also I lurve decorating gift bags. This is a smaller one which is perfect for those special small gifts ;0)

The rolled flower is from a spellbinder die, I made this one ages ago & found it in my drawer so thought I would pop it on here, it was one of those last spur of the minute things lol. The swirl is a Magnolia die here.

This is the back of the bag which I tried to keep more low key...........sort of lol. The papers are Prima 'Lyric', luckily when this pad came out I brought 3-4 pads I think lol, the edges have been distressed, inked & machine sewn.

 The postcard is a stamp I've had for ages & cant remember where from. The 'LOVE' is a Marianne die from Bunny Zoes & the pearl heart in the top right corner is also a Marianne Designs from Bunny Zoes. 

This gorgeous image I just thought was perfect for a wedding or an anniversary.........of course as its from a loved one I thought a Gift Bag would be perfect to pop in maybe a bit of bling ;0)

I think I got the image off the internet, I've had it that long tbh & it was in my vintage image box.

All 3 different laces that I've used are from my stash. The gorgeous 'Tulle' trim which I lurve is from Live & Love Crafts, the Kort ot Godt rolled roses are also from LLC. The leaves are Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns'.

This last pic I took on a black backing to try get a better pic.........I still failed though for some reason lol.

The bows I made with gorgeous 'Silky Crush Ribbon' which you can get at the Ribbon Girl store here. I have it in quite a few colours, it really is sooooo gorgeous IRL. The doilies & cheese cloth are from LLC.

Well thats it form me I better move my butt & get back to my list of things to do.

Saturated Canary & Deep Ocean DT Card

Told you I would be back lol. Here I am with my DT card for Saturated Canary & Deep Ocean Challenge. Now its very rare I combine 1 DT card with another DT but when time is being stolen from me............yes thats right Stolen, I think someone is stealing hours from me as I'm sure I'm really really not getting 24 hours in my day ;0)

Okie dokie so the theme over at Deep Ocean Challenge this fortnight is so easy peasy lemon squeezy.........;0)

FAVOURITE COLOURS

.......see how darn easy is that!! Now I have 3 favourites but the colour that just pips the others is....

Yes purples ;0) I so love this colour & then Pion bring out some more papers in this colour............well perfect for this chickadee right here ;0) 

I've added gorgeous 'Tulle Pleat Trim' & 'Cluny Fan Lace' along the top of that & a string of flat backed pearls. All from Live & Love Crafts. 

This is the inside of the card, I've used more of those gorgeous Pion papers from the new 'My Precious Daughter' 12x12 collection. The bottom one is 'Julia's Dress' & the top one is 'Pansy', both have been distressed & inked with walnut distress ink & machine sewn.

I've added a Joy Crafts corner die & the leaves are a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die, 'Swirl & Leaf'.

The image is of course a digi image from Saturated Canary, this one I think is called Pups & me & was a freebie a few weeks ago, its not available in the shop but there are lots more fabulous images there, including new ones that have recently been released.

All the flowers are from Live & Love Crafts as is the 'Cheese Cloth' & the beautiful 'Capped Teardrops' Vintage Pearl Pin. The shape of the card I did with a Go-Kreate die.

Well thats it form me I promise I wont be back with anymore posts today lol.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card

Hello everyone I'm running a tad late today, its been hectic with decorating but thankfully its just putting things back & unpacking again lol. Also my doc has changed my meds so bit out of sorts :0(

Anyhoo's its time for Midweek Magnolia's midway reminder & our challenge this fortnight is.....

ENDEARING EDWIN

...............yep 'NO' Tilda's allowed...........poor Edwin does get left out a lot poor little soul. So that does of course mean a male card............wow I've just heard screams from so many of you out there ;0)

I have finally inked up this stamp, I've had him since he was released & finally got him out of his packet........poor Edwin he really is neglected by me :0(

The 'Grandpa' sentiment is from LOTV, its from the 'Pretty Grungy Relations' sentiment stamps, I also added bits of white pain to it.

This is the inside of the card which is the same as the front minus the 'Jute Fabric'. The gorgeous papers are Maja Design 'Vintage Autumn Basics' 6x6 pad. I inked the edges & machine sewn them as always.

The stamp is 'Edwin With Derbyhat' from Magnolia's London Collection, isn't he a handsome chappy ;0) I coloured him with Distress Markers.

On the front there is 'Jute Fabric' under the centre panel. On the right I added a Tim Holtz 'Keychain' from my stash & added the little 'Grandpa's Pocket Watch' charm, which I thought was perfect for this card & image, the charm is also from LLC. The Lampost is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Paris Nights' die which I also added bits of white paint to. The brads are from my stash.

Live and Love Crafts DT Card - New Pion Release

Hello all you lovely people around the world, how are you all? I'm here today with my DT Card for Live & Love Crafts.

Well us DT girlies have the most fabulous theme this week.........we have to use the new Pion papers!!! OMG if you do not have these papers yet, then seriously get them. You can see how gorgeous they are on screen right...........well let me tell you in real life........well in real life lets just say mine got stroked A LOT!!! They are much prettier IRL. I even went on yesterday & ordered the full collection, even though I had some in my DT package, Sandy even said 'Are you sure you want more papers?'......I need lots of this one....I never want to be without it. Ok I'm gonna hush my buttons & get on & show you what I made lol.

See I told you these papers were totally delicious & I lurve the name of them 'My Precious Daughter' & all in my favourite colour :0) Argh heaven.............

The image is also from the same collection & is on the sheet 'Images 12x12'. Isn't she so pretty!!

I added a White Canvas Corp Mini Paper bag & attached 2 lots of yummy lace/trim. I added Shabby Pearl Rose & Maya Road Crochet Trim.

This is the inside of the card, I added a large tag from the collection for somewhere put your message & I also added a smaller image the same as the one on the front. I love what it says on the bottom right corner..........

I also cut out a smaller tag & added a small sentiment to it which again is from the same Pion Collection. From the scraps of the second layer I made 2 little scrolls which are by the Shabby Bark Heart. 

The gorgeous purple seam binding is from my stash, although here its looking a tad blue..........its gorgeous & purple IRL let me assure you lol.

All papers have been machine stitched & card, images & tags have been distressed slightly & inked with Pumice Stone.

TBH the photo's really dont do this justice which I'm gutted about, IRL its so much prettier. I'm actually happy with it, which believe me does not happen very often lol.
