CES Challenges DT Card.........

Good morning peeps its me again....just when you thought it was safe go into Blogland I re-appear with my 2nd post lol.

This one is completely the other end of the scale from my first card this morn.....check out my Sweet Pea Steampunk creation here.

This post is for CES Challenges & this week our lovely Sandie has chosen the theme which is

'St Patrick/Good Luck'

So we would love to see any of those type of cards, obviously not all of us know people who we could wish happy St Patricks day to so thats why we are giving you the option of Good Luck as well.

I have gone for Good Luck for my card & whats more I've dug out another un-inked stamp, I am doing well lol. I was hoping my new stamps would of been here for this card but instead I got one of my hAnglars out she has been waiting for ink for soooooooo long.....so finally here she is...

For this card I followed Rach's fabbylicious sketch over on Friday Sketchers.....I must say I soooo enjoyed doing this card I could of done it again after lol.........is that sad of me?

I made a tag type of sentiment by stamping on some of my seam binding & attaching it to the matting of the image......I love that little bit actually lol.

She is of course coloured with Copics colours used are....

E000,E00,E01,E11,R20

E77,E57,E33,E53

RV29,RV34 & W5 for shading

Little bit of C1 on the white to add bit of depth

I also added 2 pink pearl gems from my stash to her ribbons on her hair.

Stitching is faux I ran it all through the machine without thread then added the stitches with my silver/grey sakura pen as I couldn't find my light grey thread grrrrrr....never mind I'm still pleased with it lol.

The button is from my stash & the bottom flower I made using a magnolia doo hickey with the DP I've used. The doily was also from my stash & I used pink A4 card for matting.

The gorgeous lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The scalloped card, card candy, smooth white card for stamping, Prima flowers, bakers twine, hat pin & Memory Box-Gossamer papers are all available at Crafty Emma's here.

Inside has also been deocrated exactly the same using the sketch I was going to put a piccy on but I think there is enough on now lol.

Sweet Stampin Challenges DT Card.......

Good morning my lovelies how are you all this morning? This is actually a scheduled post its been one fo those weeks with health etc yuk yuk yuk!! Its actually 1.30am & yes I'm still not in bed, hubby is on the sofa next to me nodding off with his head on me awwww bless him sssshhh must be quiet lol.

Anyway its Saturday so that means we have new challenges for you & this saturday we have 2 the 2nd will be posted shortly afterwards so please pop back if you have time.

Thank you for all of your wonderful entries last week over at Sweet Stampin....WOW.....there was a lot phewwwwwwwww, I'm still actually catching up so I will be round to you still.

This week we have a fabby sketch for you to play with so it takes all the hard work out of it for you.

I nearly forgot about it when I did my DT card so had to turn it into an easel card, not that I mind cus they are my fave style of card. This week I've used one of my yummy stamps that I had still not inked... & tried something different for me anyway.......

Yes of course I've used a Sweet Pea stamp, you know I cant leave them alone for long. This is one of my un-inked stamps & she is by Meredith Dillman, I am sooooo loving her stamps. This one is from Plate 87 sheet 2 which you can find here. I've gone Steampunk style which I've never done before but I love to try different things it stops me getting bored lol & I enjoyed doing this one.

She is coloured with what is now my fave colouring medium....yes Copics I just love them soooo much. She has also been embossed with UTEE. Her scarf however is done with Prisma & I cant remember why lol. The fabulous frame behind is a digi image from Teri over at Delicious Doodles which was distressed with teadye ink & then UTEE then cracked in places then rubbing on some walnut ink into the cracks I then attached the image on top cus I only wanted the frame cracked & not her.

The metal corner was silver but I covered it in copper embossing powder....warning metal gets hot!!!!! lol.

I will have to add the rest of my pics tomorrow cus I've ran out of room apparently, I've reached my 1 gig limit. I have purchased some more but it can take a few hours to come through lol.
So I will edit the rest in the morning lol.

Crafty Purple Frog DT Card......

Good morning all my lovely jubbly friends. How are you all this morn? Well its quite miserable up here along the coast today we cant complain tho cus the last 2 days its been lovely I've even had washing on the line for 2 days running.....yayyyyaaayyyy!!

Anyway its my busy week DT wise so I'm here with another DT card this time its time for

Thank you for all your magical entries last fortnight they truly were magical indeed.

This fortnight we have one of my fave type of challenges.

'Things With Wings'

Yep as long as it has wings fly them pretties to us as we would love to see them.

For my card I always struggle which image to use cus they are all just gorgeous so hubby picked my card & told me what theme to do with my wings.......I had to go super girly......OMG I'm not a girly girl at all, I love cars & car racing, street dancing & footie is one of my big loves. For my anniversary a good few years ago hubby asked what I wanted & I said tickets to go watch Newcastle UTD play Beyer Leverkusen....OMG it was amazing....all my friends shook their heads at me in disbelief but this is me...lol. I know more about makes of cars & engines than my hubby altho he knows how to fix them lol.

So here is my pretty girly card......

Isn't it girly lol.....it actually came together soooo easily & the gorgeous papers are from Bearly Mine

This is 'Carnation Fairy' decoupage which you can get here I added lace stickles to parts of her wings.

Flowers & scalloped 6x6 card are from Crafty Emma's.

The heart die cut is a Whiff Of Joy die. Butterfly cut out using my Tonic punch. Button & pink pearls from my stash & the beautiful ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons. The sentiment is from Bizzy Becs its not very often I put a sentiment on cus you never know what you are going to use a card for but Bearly Mine has a challenge of Happy Birthday.

Crafts & Me DT Card........

Good afternoon everyone its time for our new challenge over at

Crafts & Me

This week our fabulous Vix has chosen the theme which this week is...

Under The Sea

So as long as it has something to do with the sea whether it be mermaids, dolphins, fish, sea shells etc then we would love to see it. So swim on over to here & enter those fabulous creations.

Now I have to admit I was rather stuck on this one but only cus I was spoilt for choice on which image to use Teresa really does stock such a variety it took me a while to pick. In the end I went for a digi that I brought as soon as Teresa started to do digi's I remember being soooo excited & rushed over & brought them all lol. So it was about time I coloured this beauty up.....

The image is coloured with Copics sorry I didnt remember which ones as I used a lot of colours lol. You dont want to know how long I spent on colouring this lol. I will tell you tho that the hair alone took me an hour I dont know how many layers I put on to get the depth I wanted lol. The first image wasn't going how I wanted so it went to the bin I would rather waste an image than not be entirely happy with it.

The papers are from Basic Grey in all honesty I love the image but the card I hate & if I had had time it would of gone in the bin & I would of done another but I've been ill the last week so energy wise its not been great. The doc however has given me some antibiotics as I have a really bad kidney infection never mind lol.

The first flower I put on I hated cus the stickles went wrong so it went in the bin I kept the bottom layer & then attached this large gorgeous rose from Wild Orchid which I sprayed with Gold glimmer mist from here & now I think it just looks better. The sentiment is from my shelves of wood block stamps & edged with stormy sky distress ink.

Well thats it from me for now I am having a nightmare with blogger not doing what its told to do so I'm away to tell it off &.....thats not all its getting grounded!!!

Cant wait to see all of your yummy creations peeps.

Simply Sassy Stardust.....

Good evening all my lovely friends hope you are all fine & dandy.

This is a really quick post from me tonight......I could even break a record lol.

I wasn't going to do a card tonight as its my busy week DT wise but my new stamps came today & well tonight I had a really quick play.....it was quick as well. Altho I can never colour an image quick colouring the image is my fave part lol.

So here is the 1st of my new stamps.......

This is 'Stardust' of Simply Sassy set 5 from Funky Kits.

She is coloured with yummy Copics. Colours used were...E000 E00 E01 E11 R20 C7 C5 C3 C1 R27 R59

Used a scalloped card base from Crafty Emma's.

Circle made using Marianne die & the flower in the centre was cut using a doo hickey & a button from my stash added. The large red rose is from Wild Orchid & the small black ones from Emma's, also the white doily is from Emma's. All flowers have been edged with Stardust stickles.....it had to be didnt it lol. Papers are a mixture of Bearly Mine & Nitwits.

This has been made for 2 challenges, a sketch & a colour challenge.

Making A Wish

Hi everyone hope you've all had a lovely jubbly weekend.

Well today is my day to show you a card using a stamp from Crafts & Me.

I did have another card all done using a different stamp but I cannot remember at all what I've done with it... I have been doing it all weekend putting things down & then not remembering where I've put it!! Apparently they say its called getting older......nerrrrr it cant be that.....I'm just erm.....tired yeah thats the word.

Anyway I was getting myself in such a tizz so instead I threw another card together well not literally threw lol.

So here is  'Making A Wish' by Jasmine Becket-Griffith.

I absolutely love this colour combo my daughter's bedroom is gonna be the same colour...pink & black.

She is coloured with Copics & Promarkers. Sprinkling of glitter was added to her wings & silver stickles were added to the fairy's wings. White gel pen was also used to do some highlighting streaks in her hair & also a gold gel pen in places too.

The ribbon & lace are from my stash. The paper is from Pink Petticoat 'Perfect Papers' the gingham I think might be Nitiwits. All pink & black card used is A4 card from The Paper Mill.

The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts & I sprayed it with Gold Glimmer Mist here to give that bit of sparkle. The black roses are from Crafty Emma's.

The inside is decorated to compliment the front.

Romantic Dreamer

Good evening my sweeties how are you all this evening? I hope you've all had a fab weekend.

I've had a very painful one so I'm so so sorry if I'm a tad behind on my commenting but I promise to catch up in the morning.

I ordered all the new Sassy's yesterday.....you would think I would finish inking the ones I had first but no not me.... So I thought I would at least make a start I cant bear the sobbing anymore lol.

Tonight I have used one of a couple you get the girl & the boy in this one & I just think they are lush. I've kinda gone with a different sort of theme tonight......well I dont want you getting bored now lol.

Now I havn't actually made this to go in any challenge I didnt take my lappy out with me so I was just going with the flow & doing what came to mind.

This is 'Romantic Dreamer' who also comes with 'Lost In Thought' of course you can get them from

Funky Kits.

The flower I made myself just out of Aida fabric, I have a big picnic type basket full of the stuff in all colours & thought it was about time I tried to use it for something.....I started to do cross-stitch when my dad died Craig brought me the complete sets of threads & a load of fabric & patterns.....it didnt quite keep me engrossed tho....in fact my nintendo DS did more for me lol. The pearly gemmy thing in the corner I got for crimbo & the button on the flower  & doily is from my stash.

The lace is from Wild Orchid & the ribbon is seam binding is was white but I distressed it coloured it & put some wording on for good measure lol. I got an e-mail yesterday asking me if the seam

 binding is the bias binding used for hemming? No it is not as usually that is linen where this is much softer & you can do more with it. The link for this beautiful beading is here or there is another link which I was given by a fab blogging buddy...thank you sweetie where you can buy it in rolls which I think is fab, mine came the other day I was good tho & just ordered 3 lol....you can get it here they are based in America but postage is relatively quick.



Here she is close-up, she is coloured with Copics. I used E000 E00 E01 E11 R20 C7 C5 C3 C1 R27.

The sentiment is from a stamp set I got a bit ago from Sir Stamp A Lot, I stamped it out in Memento cocoa & the rose was stamped in Fired Brick distress ink. The tag was cut out using Whiff Of Joy tag die. On the reverse it has this same rose stamped & a short message simply saying 'I love you'.

The paper is Marianne Design 'Roses Are Red' from Quixotic Paperie which are just really beautiful. They were all edged with Tea Dye distress ink. The inside has also being done the same but I forgot to take a piccie but will pop it on tomorrow, I've even forgot to put my watermarks on which I will also do tomorrow lol.

Well I think thats about it I'm gonna go jump in the shower then hopefully to bed. I will have a peekskie to see what challenges this fits tomorrow. Actually it was really nice just to play with no following any particular thing & if there is no challenge fitting then its fine as I really enjoyed making this.
