My Exciting News & Update On My Grandson

Good morning everyone how are you? By this weather is getting darn cold now..........think I need some thermals lol.

wooooooooo hoooooooooo so excited & chuffed. I can work with any images so I can start getting out more of my neglected ones. Cant wait to start working with the uber fabulous girlies on the DT

Update on Arjay is he had his operation yesterday, mum & dad were bit panicky as he was only supposed to be down theatre an hour when he ended up being down there 5 hours. He's in so much pain so his heart rate keeps going high & he's not feeding too well so they have had to insert a nasogastric tube up his nose so they can give him what he wont drink.

He has to have a scan this morning to make sure everything has stayed in place but fingers crossed the operation went well. We are hoping he picks up & our little fella can be allowed home today.

I REALLY need give my tough little fella kisses & cuddles.

A Peaceful Christmas

Hellooooooo there, how are you all? Sorry I've been missing in action its that busy time of year for everyone isn't it. I am also in the process of having a complete new look ready for 2014 lol, I'm going lighter with my hair, the first stage has been done..........just got to wait for the second stage & then its getting quite a lot chopped off :0/ With my hair been so dark it takes a bit get it light. 

Anyhoos I have soooooooo many images coloured up that I thought I better make a start in getting them onto cards & what better time then when you have new papers ;0)

Yes I've used the gorgeous new Maja Design 'Vintage Frost Basics' the one I've used is '3rd December' & I've used both sides. They have also been inked with Walnut & machine stitched.

The candle is a Marianne die & I added Shabby White fran-tage to it. The smaller flowers are from WOC, the larger one is 'Kaisercraft' all the flowers also had Stardust Stickles added to them. I've also added 'Birch Pine Cones'. I was gonna add some gesso to them but IRL they look gorgeous in their real colour against the white flowers.

As always I decorated inside, the doily is from my stash & the tree & frame are Marianne dies.

Excuse my thumb in the pic lol, I put Minnie Mouse decals on my nails a few nights ago, Payton is Minnie Mouse mad...........lol.

The seam binding & lace are from my stash, I made a double bow with the seam binding & added the gorgeous 'Bark Star' to the centre. I also added a wee bit of Shabby White Frantage to it.

The gorgeous stamp is 'Peaceful Tilda' from the new Winter Wonderland collection & I coloured her with distress ink markers & added stickles to her candle flame. I also masked her to add the

 Magnolia Christmas text behind her.

I also added my favourite 'Snowflake' die this year by Joy Craft & also the tree die by Marianne Design, both have been embossed with Shabby White Fran-Tage. The scalloped pearls are from WOC.

Well thats it from me for today. I will try to get around tonight if I have time. I have my grandaughter staying tonight as Arjay has to go for an operation early in the morning. He needs an operation to put in hips in place or he will never walk. He has then got to wear a body cast for 5-6 months, poor little fella. 

Will let you know how the operation goes my lovelies.

Hello everyone running a tad late today been busy cleaning & sorting & time got away from me.

Well yet another fortnight has gone by.............have no idea where its gone to as I'm sure it was just the other day I was posting my last Saturated Canary DT card........these days are going too quick!!

So the challenge this fortnight is a super duper easy one by our Becky.........

Now I have to admit that this card I actually made about 2 months ago.........I'm not sure tbh I found it in my drawer & with me being poorly I ran out of time & this fitted the challenge. So this one has been distressed & as you can see it was also before my sewing machine was set up permantly.

Ok I'm gonna try my best to tell you the products I used................or may have used lol.

Ok so the lace & shabby seam binding is from LLC.

I did add this gorgeous butterfly the other day as it looked a bit bare there. Of course its made with my absolute favourite butterfly die Magnolia Doo-Hickey Butterfly. Also added shabby white fran-tage.

The image of course is my total favourite image by Krista & it is 'Butterfly Baby' & it was coloured with Copics. This image is in digi & also available in rubber.l.

Cant remember the colours but I do know that the wings will be lower C's & the clothes with be higher V's, prob by the looks of it V95, V93, V91, V00 .........maybe's lo

The 2 large roses are from WOC & the Bark Heart is from LLC. Everything else is from my stash. Oh wait I've also added Cheese Cloth & a doily ;0)

Hope you will play along with us this fortnight, we lurve seeing those SC creations.

Well I'm off as its tea time & we are away down to Ben & Megans after tea as hubster is helping Ben put together Payton's big present but I will catch up with yas when we get back.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Creation

Hello everyone how are you all? Do you have any snow? If so where are you we are all coming play in it................we had a small sprinkling twice yesterday & that was it. We get the coldness but dont get much of the white stuff :0(

Anyhoo's I'm here today with my creation for Midweek Magnolia's & this fortnight the challenge is......

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

......yep get those creative juices flowing peeps,it could be a candle, a gift bag, a gift tag.........anything, just not a card. With christmas around the corner make someone a gift or a centre piece for your home.

I had sooooooo many idea's but had a kidney infection so my brain would say one thing & my body told it where to go...........politely of course ;0) 

So I made this, I brought the template thingy over a year ago & finally made it now lol.

This cute little sleigh is called 'Sleigh Ride' & its from My Time Made Easy. I lurve her templates & have a few..........yep but I've then neglected them :0( This was sooooooo easy to make that I will def get the rest of my templates made....

The paper I've used is Maja Design '1903' from the Vintage Summer Collection. I bashed the edges a bit ;0) & inked them with walnut distress ink.

The back I just added a sticker with gingerbread peeps on it lol. I got it as a free gift from a craft store 2 years ago. 

On the inside I added little red velvet bags which I'm gonna fill with sweets & chocs.........at the mo they are just filled with paper lol. I attached 2 gold bells to each sack.......it christmas & its santa's sleigh we need bells to hear him coming..... The santa in the middle was also in the sticker set so I just plopped him there lol.

This adorable Tilda is 'Christmas Eve Tilda' & I thought she was perfect for this sleigh :0)

I won a few weeks ago over at Totally Tilda (thanks again girls) anyhoos' the prize was £10 to spend at fabby Bunny Zoes............ So I brought this little girl as I didnt get her when I pre-ordered all of mine, I wasn't sure if I wanted her..........but then after I fell in love with her......typical isn't it.

Soooooo happy now though thank Nikki.

I made a poinsettia for the front with my Marianne Die. I've also added Snowtex to the ski thingies.....well cus Santa has been through lots of snow on his travels ;0)

Everything else used for this are just things from my stash.

Well I've not been in blogland for a few days so I'm gonna have a quick catch up now & will be round again later.

LOTV Nativity

Hello my lovelies how are you all? I've been busy trying to get ahead with cards & DT cards as I want time to have a good sort out in my hobbit & in the bungalow.........a spruce before christmas ;0)

Okie doke I finally inked up this gorgeous stamp last week & have now made a card with it. I lurve these LOTV Christmas stamps............I've even just ordered a few more yesterday.........I only went to browse but the buggers jumped..........actually leaped into my basket...... Cheeky little things ;0)

I have actually made this card for The Ribbons Girl challenge which is their LOTV week. They want us to add 'Sparkle'...............oooohhhh me lurves sparkles.

I've added Tim Holtz snowflake edge & smothered it in Shabby White & 'Shabby Blue' Fran-Tage. The poinsettia I made with my new die from La La Land 'pretty Poinsettia', I inked the edges with Pumice Stone, sprayed it with Gold Glimmer mist, shaped it then added a Silver Metal Rose to the centre

The holly leaves are from my Marianne die & they also got inked with Pumice Stone & sprayed with Gold Glimmer mist.

The gorgeous bow I made with some ribbon from my stash. Its the same ribbon as I used on my card here the other day. However I couldnt remember where I got it from as I've had it for a bit. Well I have found some in The Ribbon Girl store........ Its 'Silky Crush Ribbon' & its sooooooo gorgeous!!!!

The silver star is from my stash.

Of course inside is decorated to compliment the front. All lace & bells are from my stash.

The gorgeous papers I've used are MME 'Mistletoe Magic' & I inked the edges with Pumice Stone & machine stitched them. The top corner snowflake I made with 3 Snowflake Corners from a MB die from MCH & a Joy Crafts Snowflake die cut in half then I added a 'White Carnation'. 

The LOTV image is 'Nativity Angels' & I coloured it with Distress Markers & added Shabby White fran-tage. I also added stickles to the star & stardust stickles to their wings. The 2 tag sentiments is also LOTV.

Ribbon Girls - Add Sparkle

Tilda In The Mountains

Hello everyone how are you all? Well its certainly getting cold now isn't it? I'm even thinking the winter quilt may have to go on my bed soon. 

Anyway I'm here with a card with a Magnolia Stamp I got last year from The Christmas Story collection (my favourite ever collection) & only inked her up last week. Yes shame on me but in my defense....................ok I dont have a defense.....

Ok now the papers are both Magnolia but a bit mix n match, the bottom one is 'Sixpence' from a wedding collection I've had it forever, & the top one is from last year & called 'Angel Script'. I inked all the papers with Pumice Stone & machine stitched them. I also added White Gesso.

The snowflakes I made with my favourite snowflake die at the mo which is by Joycrafts. I fran-taged them both, one in Shabby White & the other in 'Shabby Blue'. The pearls I actually got free when I got my 'Storage Carousel' last year & tbh completely forgot about them.

The 3 flowers are from WOC & I rolled the other 2 with a Memory Box die & also frantaged them up & added pearls inside. 

The sentiment is 'Whimsy Holiday Notables 1' & used the Matching Die. 

The image is called 'Tilda In The Mountains' & I coloured her with Distress Ink markers. I added 'Stardust Stickles' to the bobble on her hat & I added drops of snow with a White Pearl Pen.

The frame is Spellbinders 'Floral Oval'.

I have decorated inside to comepliment the front. I've used a Doily on the front from my stash but on the inside I've used a smaller doily from LLC. The laces are from my stash & the die on the side is Memory Box die from MCH.

Dont forget the current challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's which is Thanksgiving or just to say Thank You.

Another CAS Card..........

Hello everyone I'm running rather late today been quite busy. I've also had my grandaughter this afternoon as Megan had to take Arjay the hospital. His hips are not doing too well so he has to have more scans, & he may need an operation so he will be able to walk, but we will see, fingers crossed.

However he does have the most gorgeous smile now & is even starting to chuckle, soooooooo darn cute!!

Anyhoo's enough of my rabbling, as you can see by my heading I have another CAS card to show you. Now this is the third Christening card I made weeks ago & had forgot I hadnt shown it to you yet, so thought I would pop it on now.

For a CAS card I was quite pleased with this when I did it. I used a darker tone pink for the backing under the white card. The top layer got embossed with a 'Baby Embossing Folder'.

The cross I layered up with silicone glue to add dimension. 

The gorgeous ribbon is from my stash, I think I may have gotten it from Ebay..........will have to get more, it really is beautiful ribbon. I added a Scalloped Pearl from WOC in the middle.

The cross I made with a Spellbinder die that hubster got me from our local craft store. Its called 'Shapeabilities Crosses 2'. The bottom layer I did with the pink cardstock to add a nice contrast colour. I added a 'Heart' pearl from WOC to the centre.

I machine stitched the white embossed card to the pink card after I fastened the ribbon on, so the stitching is all around the ribbon too. Its all then glued to the card base. No sentiment has been put on yet.

Til Mor..................

Hi everyone how are you all? I want to say before I start my post today that anyone & everyone affected by the awful typhoon in the Philippines my thoughts are with you. My hubster is at our local Asda at the moment & they are doing a 2 minute silence. The whole world are feeling their pain & everyones hearts go out to them. 

Anyhoo's I'm here today with a vintage card that I have to say I sooooooooo enjoyed making.

Now I think the heading of my post may have you wondering..........well those who only speak english anyway..........like moi lol.

I think 'Til Mor' means 'Mother' or 'For Mother'............(if I am wrong please correct me lol) the papers I have used are called this so the card made itself............well with me at its side for a few hours as well lol.

The gorgeous papers are Pion 'Dresses' from the 'Lil Mor - For Mother' collection, I've had these since last year & cant believe I haven't used them til now. I have edged them with Pumice Stone distress ink & machine stitched them. The top layer I cut out using Spellbinder Grand die Label One.

The tags are also from the same sheet of paper. All the flowers are from WOC & I added white Gesso to them.

The cabochon I made using a free photo & printing it out small & added a plastic dome thing lol, cant remember what they are called as I did a load months ago & they are in one of my embellishment drawers.

The letters saying 'For You Mum' are from a Pion sheet 'Red Clover' & the resin oval is a Melissa Frances 'Vintage Frame'.

The lace is from my stash & I added 'Shabby Seam Binding'. I also added 'Pearl String' amongst the flowers.

The charm I got from LLC & I added a chain to it from my jewellery making stash & added a bit of Shabby White Fran-Tage.

The gorgeous image I got off the internet a long time ago & printed it out on thick Photo card. However I cant remember which site I got it from & I cant even find it on my laptop anymore...........it may of been on my old laptop & maybe missed transferring it. I will keep on looking though to find the link.

Everything has had a dash of gesso here & there & of course inside is decorated to compliment the front. The small cream flowers & the doilies on the front & inside are from LLC. The cream pearls are MF from MCH.

This card will be on my Etsy shop either later today or tomorrow. I've finally plucked up the courage to sell my cards on there. I will put the link in my sidebar when I have done it.
