Bunny Zoes Challenges DT Card

Good morning how are you all? Hope you have all had a fabulous weekend.
Well after a lot of trouble with blinds for my craft room, my supplier let me down & luckily I found another one who was cheaper & they are getting delivered today........yay its like its been on hold for ages. I am crafting in there its just half my stuff is still boxed up lol.

Anyhoo's its a new challenge over at Bunny Zoes & I chose the theme for this one.........
MONOCHROME
..........which is basically shades of one colour. I've gone with browns as its one of my faves. The image can have skin tones added of course.
I have used a Greeting Farm stamp, I havn't used one of these for a long long time!!
The papers are MME Lost & Found 'Madison Avenue', I lurve this pad ;0)  The word 'Cherish' next to the image is from the Prima 'Lifetime' pad.
The flags I cut from MME Lost & Found 'Heirloom' & added Marianne sentiment stamp 'Hugs' & on the other flag I added sticky letters. The corner die is a Marianne Design die.

The scroll banner-y thing at the bottom I cut out of one of the sheets of the Madison Avenue pad & stamped a Marianne sentiment onto it.

The super cute Greeting Farm stamp is called 'Sweetie Bean' & she is a sweetie ;0) She has been coloured with Copics, yes I cheated & added a touch of pink but only because there is a tiny bit in the papers & well...............I had to colour co-ordinate ;0)
Colours used are...........
E11, E21, E00, E000, R20 - Skin
E47, E44, E43, E41 - Hair
E33, E31, E30 - Wings
R83, R81, RV10 - Hearts
I also added Stardust Stickles to her wings & the hearts. I also paper pieced her dress with MME 'Heirloom' pad & added a wee bit of shading with a prisma pencil.
Other dies I have used are Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Doily Flower' & 'Sprawling Ferns' dies. I used the smallest flower die & cut from the same pad as the card & added a  'Flower Shaped Pearl' to the centre. The pearl was originally ivory & I coloured it with my E49 Copic.

For most of the goodies on my card & for much MUCH more get yourself over to Bunny Zoes, be prepared to things falling in your basket ;0)

Well I have a craft room to work on today, so by the end of the week I will finally show you pics of it. Even at the moment half done I LOVE IT!!!

Thanks for stopping by I'm slowly catching up with you.
Big squishy hugs to all

Anyway we have a new challenge over at Crafty Little Fairies this week & the challenge is brought to you by us Blue Fairies with a theme you will love............
FILM OR SONG TITLE
..........dont ya just love it;0) I went with a film I've not even seen but I picked the image 2 weeks ago & started colouring her so knew what film she was representing as soon as I started to colour this beauty up. Oh I also didnt make a card ;0)
My film title is - 'BUTTERFLY EFFECT'
..........yep I made a picture for my craft room. I decided I would start doing some colourings for my craft room & putting them in frames...........kinda like inspiration.

I decided not to put too much on the frame as I want the image to be the main focus. However I had to add a butterfly ;0) These I got off Etsy, I will find the link later for you.

Of course I added a few flowers which are from WOC. The leaves underneath are Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Sprawling Ferns'

I took this pic before she went in the frame!!
This gorgeous image is by Aurora Wings & is called 'Indian Moth Fairy In Sari With Poppies' & I coloured her with copics..........I think it took me about 4-5 hours altogether to colour her...........I didn't do it in one night, I first started it about 2 weeks ago & spent about 2 & half hours on it. All the Copic Colours I have listed below.............
E11, E21, E00, E000, R20 - Skin
E49, E47, E44, E43, E40 - Hair
B97, B95, B93, B91, B00 - Sari
R59, R39, R37, R35 - Poppies
B97, B95, B93, B91, B00, BV08, BV04, BV02, BV00, V17, V15, V06, V01, White Gel Pen - Her Wings

B91, BV04, BV02, V06, V01, BV00, BG000, B0000, Blender Pen - Background

She did take me a long time to colour but she was worth it & I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm actually quite pleased with the way she turned out & I will colour her again in a different colour for my daughters bedroom ;0)

Anyhoo's pop on over to see my fabulous teamies creations & see what they did for our 'Film/Song Title' theme........... Dont forget to enter your image has to be one you have coloured yourself, so either stamped or digi.

............they can either be in your stamp or a die-cut.........I used my favourite Flourish die-cut & also because one of my other faves I have used in another DT card which you will see later in the week......thats my surprise one ;0)
I have made my first Easter card, my plan is to send a few out to friends & family...........hopefully lol. The inspiration for using this image came from my lovely DT buddy Tina..........this is the first inking :0(

This is the inside to compliment the front. The gorgeous papers are the new Pion A Day In May ' Lady 6x6' I inked the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink & machine stitched all layers. The seam binding is from my stash. The punched edge is from my MS PATP punch.

The lighter seam binding I shabbied up myself, made 2 bows & added a 'Metal Rose' from LLC to the centre & '20mm Apple', both I addded white gesso to.

The stamp is 'Tilda With Egg & Chicken' & I coloured her up with my Distress Ink markers & inked the edges with pumice stone.
Colours used are..................
Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo - Skin & Spun Sugar for the Cheeks
Antique Linen & Walnut - Hair
Scattered Straw & Frayed Burlap - Dress, Chick & Bag
Antique Linen - Eggs
Tumbled Glass & Weathered Wood - Background

The butterflies at the top I cut with Tim Holtz 'On The Edge - Butterflight', I cut them out twice & layered them up & added a rose to each centre. I added some beautiful 'Tulle Pleat Trim' along the bottom, I really love this stuff but hate cutting into it lol. I also added a 'Bark Heart' & the sentiment tag is from LOTV. I added Marianne Design small clock & added letters to spell 'Easter'.
I've added splodges of white gesso here & there ;0)

Perfect Baby Girl

Hello everyone how are you all?  I wasn't well last night so went bed with hubster & we watched Underworld on dvd, well we watched 2 of them.........love vampire films. I sat & coloured while I watched them as I was missing it, I didnt even get my image finished & I spent about 2 hours on it, still half of it to do lol.

Anyway I had myself some craft time today & made a card with an image I coloured a while ago, luckily I have a few coloured up in my box.
I coloured up this gorgeous image, I got the full collection when LOTV released their new baby stamps but have still yet to ink them all........

The papers are the beautiful Pion Sweet Baby 'Baby Girl 6x6' I soooooooo love this collection it is probably one of my faves by Pion. I have machine stitched all layers & I've decorated inside to compliment the front as always.

The 'Sentiment Tag' is LOTV & added a 'Birth Certificate' charm from LLC, these are fab!!!

I'm not sure if I have the colours written down somewhere so I will add them if I find them.
The pink will be R85, R83, R81, RV10 I do know that as its my fave pink combo ;0)

The banner at the top I cut from the papers then added 'Baby Clothes' cut from a Memory Box die. The letters are from Pion 'Red Clover' & I inked the edges with Pumice Stone. The sentiment at the bottom is Whimsy 'Simply Defined Notables 2' from Bunny Zoes which I have had a while but only now finally opened it :0( All the flowers are WOC from LLC & the Shabby Seam Binding is from LLC. I've used 2 Magnolia Doo-Hickey dies, my favourite 'Swirl' die & 'Sprawling Ferns' which is also becoming a fave!!

My New Handbuilt Craft Table

Hello everyone how are you all? Well still busy with the craft room though had a nice couple of hours with my family this afternoon as they had been away for 2 days in their caravan.........its a good job I've kept busy as I missed them like crazy. Friday night I looked at the clock watching the time ready for Paytons & Arjays bathtime............but they were not with me this weekend :0(

Anyhoo's we have been somewhat busy, actually will be glad when its all done as we are shattered now lol. Hubster made me a Craft Table for the middle of the room as an extra work surface if I need it or if Payton wants come sit in & draw ect...........
This is the craft table..............believe me when I say these photo's dont do it justice, its me favourite bit in the room, I love it!!!!!!!!!!
I designed the table from idea's I had seen on Pinterest months ago & my hubster built it.......might I add that he built it even with his hand/arm still in plaster...........how awesome is he.....so proud I'm beaming ;0)
This is the table before we painted it. Ok this table was made with 3 Billy Bookcases from my old craft room, I had painted the backs red to match my previous room.
Hubster standing at the side admiring his handy work lol...........he goes for an xray tomorrow on his hand to see if its finally healed, fingers crossed. Although he's done well & got used to doing things with just 3 fingers on that hand lol.

We cut 1 Billy bookcase across the middle & that acted as the 2 ends of the table.
Excuse our yorkie Charlie being nosey, he doesnt like to miss much lol.

This gap is for a stool/chair to go, depending on the height. This needs a stool as it is waist height so I can stand or sit at it. We covered the sides & backs of the bookcases in cladding just to make it neater.

For the sides we used my 2 slim Billy Bookcases & again cut them in half to make 4 small ones, we used 2 of them this side........... & one on the opposite side leaving room to put your legs if you sit at the table.

This is the table all painted up, we decided leaving the shelves white would look a bit different & as people in my life know...........well I like to be different lol. The cladding is on the ends which cover the ends of the wider bookcases either end of the table.

The top is MDF & hubster also put an MDF base on the bottom & then attached wheels so it can easily be moved around & pushed to one side or have it in any position. There are more shelves but I've not added them all yet til I know where I want them.

I will include links below of the products used..............
2 Slim Billy Bookcases for the sides cut in half (we only used 3 of them - for now )
1 Wide Billy Bookcase cut in half for each end.
Black Cupboard Paint - a note though this paint is very strong smelling so do it where you can open windows & doors. This table has had 3 coats on, the MDF top has had 5 coats on. I may give it another coat all over yet though, I'm still deciding lol.
Large sheet of MDF or what ever you use as a top, we used MDF & then we are getting a sheet of toughened glass to put on top so make it more durable & an easier surface to work on.

Now the wheels underneath we didnt buy as I currently have 4 sets of these drawers, from when I first started crafting, however we have stacked one on top of another to make 2 higher sets of drawers to save on space. So the 8 wheels that we took off before stacking we then used on the table. The only things we have brought is the paint, MDF & the cladding which was only 2 packs & its really cheap.

Well I hope you like my table, I wish the pics did it justice as its really awesome IRL & I'm so proud hubster built it for me. We just have to get a sheet of glass for the top & finish putting the shelves where I need them lol.
Thank you lately for your comments on my DT work I'm really missing crafting & blogging but its late by the time we finish & tbh once we've had showers we have been collapsing in bed shattered lol.
I will be round to catch up with you soon though, hopefully there is not much left to do now.........I hope lol. Though blinds have still to go up & I haven't even started making the valances eeekk, never mind I will get there lol.

Big huge hugs to you all, take care & tatty bye for now.
xxxxxxxxxx

EDITED TO ADD TABLE SIZE - Table top width is 63.5 inches, Length is 59.5 inches & Height is about 32 inches. All writing in red blod are links to take you to products.
