Sweet Pea Stampers DT Card.............Button Up...

Good morning my darlings how are you all? Well we have lovely sunshine this morning lets hope it stays. Yesterday it was lovely all day but it was soooooooooo warm we had fans going everywhere, my little crafty hobbit was like a sauna...........

Anyway today its time for..........

Sweet Pea Stampers Challenge

This challenge is.....

BUTTON UP

Yep as long as it has buttons then come & play with us but please remember you must have a Sweet Pea stamp or a Crafty Purple Frog image on your creation.

For my card today I've gone for something a little different image wise as you will see.........

Told you it was different lol.........as you know I dont normally do cute with my Sweet Pea stamps its the fantasy range I love I love how different they are but Lynette sent me this free with  one of my orders cus she had an offer on a while ago. So I thought I would use it & do something different lol.

The papers is Websters Pages which I absolutely love & on the little frame thats on the paper I stamped a sentiment. The sentiment is from the Whimsy postage stamp from Bunny Zoe's what I had for my birthday off hubby..........these are fabulous I love 'em!!!

This is 'Butterfly Dragon' by Lisa Victoria & I coloured the image with Copics & added glitter to her wings. I stamped her out then cut her out with the next size down of this Fleur de Lis square nestie, matted it on blue card then cut out the largest square with cream card.....I love the look of it actually.

I stamped the wings on the image a second time coloured them & then cut them out & fixed on top using foam squares to make the wings 3D........

The buttons are also Websters Pages & they come with the twine, they are self adhesive but I have a thing about things being glued on securely so I added a drop of glue as well to them both. I added stickles to the flowers for an extra bit of bling.

What I've been busy on...............

Howdie doodie my lovelies how are you all? I thought I would pop on to show you what I've been busy doing this week......well I will show you some of them lol. Now cus I was ill I hadnt done any so from Tuesday I've try to work my ass off.....ssshhh tho cus I will get told off by Teresa.....ssshhhh!!

Teresa has got a stand again at Stamparama Craft Show so us DT girlies have been busy making sample with Teresa's fabulous stamps. Now these samples are going into a book like the last time so they all have to be 51/4 inches square & flat as possible.........OMG..........flat as possible......I tell ya I nearly ended up back in hospital after making these..............Oh the trauma....lol.

The 1st one I will show was my first ever stamp brought from Crafts & Me & this is the 1st stamp I put my name against for the show, lol actually it was still on from the last show lol.

Yes you knew who it would be didnt you? lol. This is of course 'Butterfly Keeper' by Hannah Lynn

As always I added glossy accents to her globe. I also embossed the frame with UTEE I only gave it 1 coat as I wanted it to have a textured effect.....if you click on the pic to enlarge to will see what I mean lol. I really am rubbish at explaining lol. 

This beauty is 'Vanessa' by Hannah Lynn. I matted her onto Lacey Oval Nestie cut out of Olive Green A4 card. The Twill Sentiment is from Crafts & Me.

This is the last one I will show you for now I will show you the others another day.

Now this card has another of my fave artist's image. This is 'Josephine' by the fabulous Molly Harrison & I have to admit this is the first time I've actually stamped her up......yes I know I'm really bad.

The beautiful Pink Ribbon Flower & Love Heart you can also get from Crafts & Me along with all 3 of these exclusive images.

I have to say I really enjoyed colouring this image she is just so soooo pretty & really easy to colour. The background was done with chalks. I kept the card quite plain to make the image stand out more as I thought she deserved the full spotlight.  All 3 images were stamped onto Smooth White card & coloured with Copics.

YAYYYYYYY A Card.....................

Good evening all my lovelies out there, how are you all? Well as the title says I've actually made a card.....well actually I've spent the last 2 days crafting making samples for Teresa for Stamparama. Yes Crafts & Me are there again & the DT girlies are busy making samples with all the stamps.

I've done well so far with the samples to I thought I would make a card, I think I was having withdrawal from flowers & stuff lol as the samples have to be smaller & as flat as poss.....eeeekkkk.

Anyway here is what I've made.............

This is 'Tilda With Ponytail' & you can get here from Bunny Zoe's, sorry a link is not here I cant get the website to load up but as soon as I do I will put a link on. You can also access it through my page of favourite shops.

The swirl I used a Magnolia Doo Hickey & the leaves under the flowers I used a Marianne die, I love these!

The 2 blue flowers are from Magnolia & the other flowers are from Crafty Emma's Store.

Tilda was coloured with Copics but I cant remember the colours as it was a while ago when I coloured her. The sentiment is a wood stamp off my shelf.

Paper is First Edition & the gingham ribbon & kraft card is from my stash. The cream lace I think I got from Bunny Zoes but I cant check to make sure but I will as soon as Nikki's website is up & running again. All stitching is faux & inside is decorated to compliment the front.

A HUGE Thankyou & some piccies just for you..........

Good morning all my lovely friends, how are you all this Monday morning? Those poorly I really wish you better soon.

I want to say a HUGE thank you for all your lovely comments.....wow you know how to bring tears to a girls eyes.....hubby kept asking what was the matter with me lol.

I still didnt really get around to visiting anyone last last night as Megan got rushed to hospital last night with severe abdominal pains & we were all soooooo worried she was losing the baby....... Thankfully the baby seems fine altho they are not sure whats causing the pain but they have took bloods etc & we are waiting on the results of them. She has also got to see a doc as they are not sure if she chicken pox which is not good for the baby......... So things are a bit up in the air at the mo & we have everything crossed.

Yesterday I sat in bed resting.....yes I did as I was told.........me doing as I'm told, how good am i??? lol.

Anyway I decided to get my copics out, well actually hubby kindly placed them on the bed & said 'Just incase you get bored!!'....lol do ya think its was a hint lol. So I coloured a few images & here are 2 of them by my ultimate favourite artist.............

This sultry beauty is 'Deevonne'. Both of these images are the latest digi image releases over at Crafts & Me. Isnt her hair just sooooo gorgeous hannah really does the most beautiful hair & faces.

I've also added a couple of pics just to make you smile & maybe cheer any of you up a little if you are feeling a wee sad........we all need a cheer up sometimes dont we.

Now as you know we have 5 little puppies at the mo. Well a week ago we started them on solids & Craig was giving them Weetabix but they were not really eating it or enjoying it for that matter so I suggested making them some scrambled egg............here was the result.......

I think they like it............. Oh yes make sure you feed them on newspaper as they do make a mess lol.

Here is the pic tho of 1 particular puppy not wanting to share this scrambled egg.........

This little laddy decided it should be his & his alone.........this is a dinner plate so you can see how much he has grown lol.

This is actually my fave puppy, I know I shouldnt have one but he is the fattest, the furriest & the cuddliest one lol......I have nicknamed him 'Wrinkles' cus sometimes his fur wrinkles a bit where his fatty rolls are lol.

Yep he really didnt want to share lol.......... They loved the scarmbled egg lol. They are now on meat & feeding 4 times a day & they certainly let you know when they are hungry lol.

Well I'm gonna go & will hopefully get round to you all sometime today & reply to some more e-mails.

I will let you know any updates on Megan when we get them........fingers crossed for all to be ok!!!

Hi Everyone.................

Hi everyone how are you all? Hope you are all having a lovely relaxing weekend the weather here today is beautiful.

I'm so sorry I've not been visiting you over the last 2 weeks & I'm so sorry for any DT work I've not done. Unfortunately I really have been ill I collapsed again the day after my last KK card & then early this week I ended up in hospital again. I have been that ill it really got me down & I was all for giving up crafting & just giving everything craft related away. Fortunatelyy I have a fantastic hubby & kids & family who didnt want me to & I also work with a shop who does the most fantastic images ever & when I got home yesterday from the hospital I saw them on the table in the conservatory. Of course its Crafts & Me, I printed out Teresa's new digi images over 2 weeks ago just before I fell so ill & when I saw them I knew I couldnt give up crafting!!!!

I would also miss all of you!!!!!!.

Anyway this is the first time I've even been on the internet for nearly 2 weeks, Craig has e-mailed who he can to friends who have e-mailed to see if I'm ok & I'm so thankful to you for that. Unfortunately he hasnt had a lot of time so he has missed quite a few & I will slowly work through them over the next few days so bear with me please.

Anyway I have to go back t the hospital next month to see my consultant again & then I'm back there for a pre-op assessment then thankfully they have rushed my operation as soon as they could which is on the 2nd September, so not long to wait really. I do have other health issues but they want to deal with this first as its causing a lot of daily pain. So fingers crossed not long til I'm on the road to recovery lol.

I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone altho it will take me sometime to catch up with you all but please dont think I've forgotten any of you.

CES DT Card.........

Good morning all hope you are all ok? Those people poorly wish you better soon.

Well today is saturday which means its time for a new challenge over at CES Challenges & this weeks its Jenny's turn.

Its a RECIPE - 3 DP's, 2Ribbons, Lace or Twine & 1 Image.

I have used a stamp that was among the first stamps I ever brought when I srated crafting April 2010 & ashamedly this one had still never been inked up & I came across the set this week so here she is.

This is 'Miss Anya Collection' from The Greeting Farm & you get 3 images....I have now finally used 2 one more to go lol.

She is of course coloured with Copics.

I used 1 ribbon & then put twine on the image to count as the 2nd one.

6x6 Scalloped card, Websters Pages paper, Card Candy, Twine, Flowers & smooth white card for image are all from Crafty Emma's Store.

Not so happy birthday

Hello everyone  I just thought I would quickly pop this post on here.

My fabby hubby has brought me for my birthday 10 Bildmalarna stamps & spent over £100 at bunny zoes which he hoped would of come today........but I also got a pre-order so that will take longer.

Anyway today is my birthday but unfortunately it doesnt hold happy memeories as it was my birthday 3 years ago my dad got rushed to hospital & I was told he has a matter of days of his life left. I stayed with him the whole time, slept, well sort of slept in one of those uncomfy chairs....we managed to pursuade them to let him home so he could spend his last days at home surrounded only by his family....we nursed & cared for him. He died 7 days after my birthday.

So as you can imagine I'm really upset today & keep crying....... I was EXTREMELY close to my dad we were best of friends.

So I'm signing off the internet & putting my lappy away so please dont think I'm ignoring you I will see how I feel later & try catch up with all my commenting, if not I will catch up with you all tomorrow.

I'm gonna scedule my post for ces in the morn & then I'm gonna spend the day cuddled with my family & kleenex.

I just had to show you these..........

Hi peeps I've come on quickly to show you these photo's we've just took. I'm actually in the middle of cooking tea, homemade Chilli-Con-Carne & then what ever Jake |& Megan want as they are fussy pant eaters lol.

Anyway my eldest son Ben has not long come in from work he is an apprentice plumber for the local housing authority. Anyhoo he went over to see the pups & they have started to realise today they have 4 legs & they can now stand on all 4, be it shaky but still..........yeah this is where the fun starts lol. Well the little runt of the litter is actually the one with the strongest legs & the one Ben loves the most as he gives a little growl everytime ben goes to him lol. Well Ben was cuddling him & well look what he did next.........

He put her in his pocket............lol I nearly peed on the kitchen floor & just had to grab the camera LOL.

You can just see her daddy's paw & head there lol.

Isn't she just the cutest!!!!!!!!

There is daddy, Charlie, making sure his little girl is safe lol.

I'm thinking she is mistaking my sons hand for a nipple lol......either way it looks tasty to her lol.

I have had a few messages asking what sort of puppies are they. They are pedigree Yorkshire Terriers but all yorkies as any yorkie owner will tell you are born black & tan & as they grow they develope their own colourings. Ben is wanting to keep this one & is hoping she grows up to be like her dad who is such a character.......I've never known anyone like him......he always makes me smile every day especially when he sings along to the ice-cream van lol.

This is Charlie, the daddy of the pups he is very light haired......

Well I better go finish off tea before the hungry hoard start eating my furniture.......

Crafty Purple Frog DT Card.................Summer

Good morning all my lovely friends how are you all this morning?

Its time for my Crafty Purple Frog Challenge card & this week we have a lovely theme.....we are hoping it will blow this rain away & bring back Mr Sunshine......hap...hap...happy sunshine....

The theme is SUMMER.

Here is my summery creation..............

This is 'Carnation Fairy' decoupage & I thought she was perfect for this theme....I love carnations.

This pic is to show you the decoupage layers.

This beautiful fabric flower in the centre is from Crafts & Me & I will be soooo getting more of this. Its a flower ribbon but I just cut 1 off & it matches my pink seam binding underneath really well.....you may just be able to see it lol. I also added white tulle underneath the seam binding.

Added some glitter to her wings, hard to photo lol. I also placed her on a Lacey Oval Nestie once I decoupaged her up. Isnt she so pretty. Paper is Prima 'Sparkling Spring'. All card is A4 card from my stash.

I felt like there was something missing when I was taking the photo's so when I was finished I added 3 pink pearl gems along the top & took 1 more piccy to show you lol.

Crafts & Me DT Card.............My Favourite

Good morning everyone how are you all this morning? Well I'm still decorating I'm sick of seeing bricks lol. I have a busy day ahead, decorating, I've got a scan at the hospital & Jake is off school ill so got him at the docs today......phew......so will press on lol.

It is of course Wednesday & that means its time for Crafts & Me Challenges & this week its the Rockin' Rubbah's inspiring you.

It is my turn to choose the theme & I chose a really easy one......I'm allowed cus its my birthday soon lol.

Favourite Stamp/Image

How easy is this we want to see your favourite stamp or image....the one you love the most come & show it to us cus we would love to see it.

Now my fave is a new stamp but she is my fave out of ALL my stamps....I waited ages for her to be turned to rubber.....altho some of you know this already lol...........

Of course you know who this is........... 'Genevieve' by my fave artist Hannah Lynn made exclusively for Crafts & Me Store.

The beautiful white rose in the centre you can get here. The other flowers & butterfly are from my stash.

Papers are from 'Raspberry Road'.

This is the image I managed to colour soon after coming out of hospital she finally went on a card last night. I fussy cut around her & placed her on the Raspberry Rd DP. Its all I had time for lol.

The 'Wooden Heart' is also from here & I painted it white then smothered it in Tim Holtz crackle glaze stuff.

Kraft card & ribbed kraft card are from my stash. All papers have been inked with Vintage Photo distress Ink.
