Saturated Canary DT Card

Good morning everyone how are you all? Now I'm hoping Mr Blogger is being a good boy & that this has published, I'm at the hospital right now I had to be here for 8am so I scheduled this post at midnight last night.............please be good Mr Bloggy ;0)

Okie doke so I have a wee bit of inspiration using one of Krista's super gorgeous images..........I've actually used this image before & its one of my faves. The last time I went my usual foofy type but this time I've gone CAS.........So here is my CAS SC card.

I soooooooo love this image, she is so darn pretty. I cropped her this time just a little at the back & added a  'Simple Sentiment' from Pink Petticoat digital sentiments.

I added a small Prima flower at the top of the strip............I could have probably have left it blank but.....well I had to put something there lol.

The gorgeous image is called 'Angels Among Us' & she is available as a digi image here or a rubber stamp from Little Darlings. I coloured her with Copics & paper pieced her top, shoes & the feather & added a bit of shading with a black prisma pencil.

BG09, BG05, BG01, BG000 - Trousers

The gorgeous papers are also digi papers from Michele R Design's Etsy Store. These are called 'Vintage Garden Party' & I also used a banner from the 'Vintage Garden Party - Elements Pack 1', the colours are absolutely gorgeous!!

Saturated Canary Challenges DT Card

Hello again lovelies how are you all? Well today has been lush & sunny all day.......no rain & no snow!!! That Easter Bunny may get to keep his fluffly butt dry & warm when he comes to visit.

Ok so I'm back today as its time for another challenge over at Saturated Canary, wow are these weeks flying by. Now the theme this week is an easy one......

......which basically means that your card can either be based on a book, or make a bookmark or just simply include text........ ;0) Easy Peasy right...

Now I wanted to use one of Krista's fab ne wimages but my printer has spat the dummy & wont work at the mo.....................grrrrrrr

......luckily however I had this little pretty lady coloured up in my image box ;0) I wasn't sure whether I was gonna use her though as her hair I'm not completely happy with.......but needs must & all that.

I've run gorgeous lace(cant find it ) up the side & added 'Shabby Seam Binding' down the middle. I also made a double bow with 'Cheese Cloth' & more 'Seam Binding' & a blingy button ;0)

I added a beautiful 'Zipper Pull'........so love these!! I also added the card that Sandy wraps around the

 'Seam Binding' under the image for a bit of extra text ;0)

The flowers are the gorgeous Prima 'Serenade-Blue' & the white flower is by Kaiserkraft I think. I added 'Stickles' to all the flowers.

This little lady is called 'Angels Among Us' & I have a thing for angels ;0) I have of course coloured her with copics & the floor I used black prisma pencil & sansador

I added 'Stickles' to her feathers & her eyes for bit of sparkle. I also added more 'Cheese Cloth' under the image.

The paper is the beautiful MF 'C'est La Vie', this pap really is so so pretty!!! I lightly inked the edges with Walnut DI. I also added Prima pearls to 2 corners.

All the items I have used on this card are from my 3 favourite shops.
