Midweek Magnolia Midweek Reminder DT Creation - Winter Blues

Hello everyone how are you all? Things have been busy here, I've got my cupboards getting delivered today for my new craft room...........can only do bits at the mo with hubsters hand still in plaster.

Anyway I'm here today with the midweek reminder for the Midweek Magnolia Challenge & the theme this fortnight is..........

WINTER BLUES

...........which doesn't mean it has to be winter, we just want to see 'BLUE' as your prominent colour. I used this challenge to make my creation for the Live & Love Crafts challenge which is 'Perfume'.

WARNING PICTURE HEAVY

My favourite perfume comes in a blue box, so this was the inspiration for this...............

I made a box for the perfume & matching body lotion...............

Yep my favourite perfume is Dolce & Gabbana 'Light Blue'. The lotion is from a gift set hubster got me last year but the bottle is a new one that hubster got me this last christmas, its tradition loL, even if I still have some left :0) 

The inside of the box is decorated to compliment the top. I have used a 'Doily' & Tim Holtz 'Weathered Clock'. Doily was from Live & Love Crafts.

I have used uber gorgeous Maja Design 'Vintage Autumn Basics' 6x6 pad. I have inked all the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink & machine stitched all layers.

I have made a bow out of this gorgeous Silky Crush ribbon & added the beautiful 'Rhinestone Pendant' & a small bottle from my stash which I filled with German Glass glitter & tied some 'Pearl String' around the top.

The edging is all with my Martha Stewart Around The Page punch.

I have finally inked up one of my new Magnolia's, this one is 'Tilda Rose Scent' from the Lost & Found Collection 2014 at Bunny Zoes. She has been coloured with Copics, colours used are..........

E11, E21, E00, E000, R32 - Skin

E29, E27, E25, E23, E21 - Hair

B97, B95, B93, B91, C3, C1, C00 - Gown, Slippers & Bottle

W5, W3, W2, W1 - Ground

I have added WOC flowers & a rolled flower made with a MB die. Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Swirl' die & Tim Holtz 'Weathered Clock' die. 'Metal Corner' & 'Love Heart Clip'. The Shabby Pearl Rose trim, lace & Cheesecloth are all from Live & Love Crafts.

 Hello my lovelies how are you all? Well its wednesday so what does that mean.....yes its time for 

Midweek Magnolia's & this week we have such an easy one for you.........

MAY FLOWERS...

....how easy is that we all lurve flowers dont we so bring all your pretty Magnolia florals to us & join in the fun.

Yes I know shame on me for not inking this pretty thing up, isn't she lush!

The wicker heart is from my stash, I've had them forever but I think this is maybe my last one so I really need to remember where I got them so I can get more.........

Flowers, lace & gingham ribbon are all from my stash.

I've used 'Rose Scent Tilda' from the Sweet Crazy Love collection & she has of course been coloured with copics. Not completely happy with the colouring but didnt have time to do another :0(

Along the petals on the card blank I have placed Melissa Frances Pearls, I cased this idea from the lovely Teresa from My Crafty Heart as I saw it on one of her gorgeous cards, thank you shug for the inspiration!!

Ingredients for my card are as follows...............

Papers are Magnolia Paris Red Peony & the bottom layer is again Magnolia but an older one which I forgot I had. Its White Lace from the Lazy Summer Days collection, both paper have had edges inked with vintage photo distress ink.

Dies used are DooHickey Fence & DooHickey Swirl.

CES Challenges DT Card - Flower Frenzy

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Well I'm running extremely behind so I'm just gonna get on with it.

I'm finally here with my card for CES Challenges which should have been on yesterday, this week it is our lovely Donna has set the theme.....

FLOWER FRENZY

How easy is that, you just make sure there are flowers are your creation & we allllll love flowers!!!

I have used a flower template for my card, I found it off google but cant remember from what site as I've had the template for ages.........I've also finally inked up 1 of my Magnolia stamps, got quite a few of these un-inked so must get them used.......

As the theme is 'Flowers' I thought why not finally use this flower template. I cut it out of thick kraft card & drew faux stitching around the edge of the petals with a white gel pen.

The tag I've left blank until I know who it will be going to I've attached it to a button using Bakers Twine.

This is 'Rose Scent Tilda' from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection & she was of course coloured with my beloved Copics, sorry tho I didnt write the colours down I used.

Papers I've used are Prima' Sparkling Spring' which I got from Crafty Emma's Store along with the flowers & the bakers twine.
