Forever Valentine...........also my Sweet Stampin candy winner!!

Good evening peeps hows you all doing? I do hope you are keeping warm.....its sooooo cold up here tonight & the winds are really picking up........ I was gonna go out with a brolly to see if I could do the Mary Poppins thing but then I thought knowing my luck I would literally end up in the North Sea.....so I decided not to do it. My eldest son however I cant think where he gets his stupidness from.....popped out late last night ran round the front lawn & then lay down & made an angel in the snow lmao.....I really did need tena lady I tell ya......mind he sharp realised how cold it was lol.
Anyway onto my appologies 1st of all its been 1 of those hectic days today & I completely forgot to post the winner of my candy for the Sweet Stampin birthday hop.....
picked by randomy thingy can we plz have a drum rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.....
Can you e-mail me please sweetie so I can have your addy & post your candy to you.
Thank you everyone for entering all of your cards were beautiful.
Right onto a little card I've made with one of my new Sweet Pea stamps. I followed a sketch when I did the card & also there are a couple of challenges that want monochrome which I do quite enjoy doing.....

This is 'Forever Valentine' by the ever talented Ching-choux Kuik which I got from here. While I love black & white & sepia cards I also love blue 1s I think they look so beautiful & I thought I would have a wee break from making crimbo cards.....its my 1st crimbo making them this time last year I never even knew about stamping & if anyone had said Promarker to me I prob would of thought it was some sort of anti-depressant or pick me up....you know like ProPlus (if thats what its called).... So whilst I'm really enjoying making them I'm also craving to do other things as well. At the min I have 3 projects on the go & 3 waiting to be started......is that normal?

Now this image I couldn't decide what to colour her in so her skin is coloured with Copics, the blue thats on her is Promarkers & Prisma pencil shading & the outline of the moony thing & her tail has been outlined with a blue Sakura pen lol, told you I couldn't decide he heee. The moony thing has also had a dusting of Diamond Sparkles 'Angel Whispers'....love this stuff. I also saw a challenge thats wanting decorative corners on your images so I stuck on these lush metal ones, dont have many left so will have to get more!!! The card the image is stamped on is quality smooth white A4 card which I got from here I then edged it with 'Tumbled Glass' distress ink & then went around the edges slightly with my Sakura pen.

I added these to the inside (excuse the piccy lol) I will add a sentiment when I know what the card will be used for i.e birthday etc & the other side I will write my personal message on. They were just cut out using nesties thru the bigshot........I have been eyeing up the Calibur actually lol.......tell me someone is it always like this now I'm crafting where I will always want stuff or is it because I'm still newish & building my stock up?? I'm thinking it could be a bit of both or me being bloody greedy lol (oops can I say bloddy on here....oops I said again!!)

The flower I made using a Magnolia Doo Hickey with blue card I then edged the edges with 'Steel Blue Aurora' embossing powder & then held it at gun poing with my heatgun. I then slapped a coat of 'Clear Rock Candy' distress crackle paint waited for it dry then squished the petals a bit & added a button from my stash.... hey presto a pretty flower.

I've tried my best to capture all the sparkle but its so hard. The card at the bottom I coloured with a Promarker, its not very often I do this cus I'm scrooge with my ink from my pens lol but I wanted a certain effect so I coloured the card using the chisel end but then adhered the opposite side to the card....so if you look closely its kinds like distressed with bits of ink missing, which is what I wanted. The paper I have actually had since April & finally now actually opened the packet & used a sheet woo hoo..... its 8x8 Dovecraft 'Fantasy' paper which just went perfect with this image I thought, but unfortunately I dont remember where it was from. The navy blue lace & the blue gems are from my stash, I really cant remember where I got them from.

Well thats it from me I have Natalie off school tomorrow as her school is closed due to 3-4 ft of snow, I was keeping her off anyway the journey is just way too far to travel in these icy conditions. I'm hopefully putting up my crimbo tree tomorrow altho the outside lights may have to wait til the snow has gone lol. I hope you have all had a good weekend. Thank you soooo much for stopping by I really do appreciate it....you all totally rock!!!
I'm off to link this up.
See ya soonies peeps, take care
Huge huggles Vicky xxx
