CES Challenges DT Card............My Queen Of Hearts

Hello my lovelies how are you are? I'm sooooo sorry I'm late today but there is a reason. Now I have a new BIG love & its the fabulously talented artist Krista Smith........OMG I could sit with 2 piles of images, 1 Crafts & Me images & 2 Saturated Canary images.........I would sit happy all day long just colouring, actually all year long lol. Anyway when I saw her latest release I rushed to buy them, I have soooooooo many already but I'm addicted.........I currently have 6 & half coloured up ready for projects so be prepared to see these beauties a lot!! I had a fab idea for this image but wanted to run it thru Krista 1st......I waited all day for the e-mail but nothing...........or so I thought!! Went bed at 12 was talking about it to hubster for him to tell me she did e-mail he had forgot to tell me arrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...................... So with his encouragement, finished colouring 1 image & then went into hobbit to make my creation...........I emerged at 3.50 am to come inside & take piccies..................so I'm a bit erm pooped lol.

This beauty is my 'Queen Of Hearts' I say mine cus she is mine now lol.........ssshhhh dont tell Krista!!

Gorgeous seam binding ribbon,gems, pearl & charm saying 'Made With Love' are from my stash......

Painted a wooden heart (love these) with white acrylic & then edged it with Vintage Photo ink.

6x6 card blank, Prima 'Romantique paper & selection of flowers all from Crafty Emma's Store.

All paper matted with Kraft card & both edged with Vintage photo.

This is my fabulous idea..............make a playing card........well she is the 'Queen Of Hearts'

This is a matching tag to go with the card. I've used the same ingredients as on the card.

All flowers were sprayed with Gold Glimmer Mist.

The image I cropped 2 copies so it was just her top half & then 1 copy I flipped & mirrored & attached to the bottom & then tried to colour each identically........a bit of a task but sooooo worth cus I love it!!!!!

I rounded the edges of the playing card as they normally have rounded edges. Edges again inked. I forgot to go over the Q again with a bright red.............it was late tho lol.

Last piccy of them both together.......I'm actually rather pleased with this which does not happen very often believe me!!

Love Is Gone...............or is it????????

Hello everyone how are you all today? Today I have another ordered card to show you. I got asked to make an Anniversary card but his wife had already seen me colour in an image & she fell in love with it so asked if I still had it & would I use it on an Anniversary card for him. 90% of my images are coloured way before I have any idea what project they will be used for, let alone what papers I will use. I know I'm not supposed to but I've done it this way for sooooooo long & I have that many papers I KNOW I will have something to match lol.

Anyway I will shush & show you the card................

This is of course my favourite ever Sweet Pea stamp & it took me ages to get cus she was always out of stock last year.........I think its actually my most used stamp I think I've used 4 possibly 5 times.

That is a lot for me as half of mine still havnt seen ink lol.

Papers are Websters Pages I did get them from Crafty Emma's but she hasnt got them anymore. All papers I matted onto black card.

Used 6x6 'Petal Point' card blank. Wood heart painted white & glazed.

Flowers are all from WOC, I've had these sooooo long!! Lace & velvet ribbon from my stash.

Twill Sentiment used 'You've capture my heart'

This is the inside used heart nestability top & bottom, 1 for the sentiment here this one says

 'Grow old with me, the best is yet to come'

The sentiment at the bottom is computer generated & I'm not sure where it was originally from!

This is of course 'Love Is Gone' by Ching Chong-Kuik for Sweet Pea Stamps, she is also available from Crafts & Me in the UK.

Here are the copic colours used.........this is an image I was originally experimenting with some colours.

Skin - E11 E21 E00 E000 R20 & R11

Hair & Skirt - C9 N7 & N4

Reds - R59 R46 R17

Leaves - G29 G17 G14

Eyes - C3 & C00 & Moon - E50

Eyes were enhance using Graphic Art Liner 0.30 & I also used 90% warm grey & white Prisma pencils.

Luckily after I took piccies I realised I hadnt done her arm-band, unfortunately I forgot to take piccies again after & it went to its new owner lol.

Last piccy phew lol........ The recipient absolutely loved it which I was really pleased & happy about.

Crafts & Me DT card...........Orchid Of The Night

Hello all you lovelies how are you today?

Today is wednesday & you know what that means.........its time for a new challenge over at

CRAFTS & ME CHALLENGES

This week our lovely boss Teresa has chosen the theme & its...........

Birthdays

How easy is that peeps. For my card I've used a stamp from the fabulous artist Molly Harrison.

I have used 'Orchid Of The Night' available only at Crafts & Me Store.

I sooooo love this stamp, 1 of my top 10 favourite stamps.

I used 6x6 'On The Edge Petal Point' card blank & the flowers are a mixture from Crafty Emma's.

I've used Prima 'Londonerry' papers & dark cream A4 card for matting, edges inked with Vintage Photo.

Leaves were cut out using Marianne 'Forest Branch' die.

Lace, lilac seam binding ribbon, pearls U muslin are from my stash. The white muslin fabric I also inked with 'Antique Linen' distress ink.

This was the first image I coloured when I started colouring again after some time off so I cant remember the colours sorry.

She is stamped tho with Memento black ink onto fab smooth card, love this card!! She is of course coloured with Copics & I added Glimmer Dust to the moon

Purple Butterfly

Hello my lovelies how are you all today? Well my youngest is back at school today tho he not pleased as he doesnt want to wait til tonight to play on his new xbox game lol. He feels better tho, I think his girlfriend coming up last night did the trick lol.

Well I've had a few orders recently for cards so I thought I would show you 1 of them. I did this one last week I've made one before so I was asked to make another one in shades of purple as its her mum's fave colour.

The paper is a mixture & I've embossed each layer with different embossing folders. All edges have been inked with Milled Lavender distress ink.

Flowers from Crafty Emma's. Crochet flower I made & the pearls & purple butterfly are from my stash.

I made a matching box lined it with doilies for a nicer presentation.

The lid I use acetate but the first 1 I wasnt happy with & I had used my last sheet of acetate so I put my thinking cap on & instead I got my laminator out & laminated a sheet cus then they go clear & toughen up as well. Voila 1 see through lid.........just  as good as acetate but easier to wipe any finger prints off.

A sparkly feathered butterfly from my stash........getting low on these so need to remember where I got them from eeeek!!

Last piccy of card inside the box. All card used is A4 card from Papermill Direct the one I've used has a suede feel finish, its gorgeous when you feel it. I got this a few months ago so not sure if they still do the 'suede feel' card as it was a special.

Well thats it I'm off to the hospital then off to buy 2 xbox games, yep hubby wants the new Call Of Duty as well..........it keeps them good lol.

Ooooh Just Adorable...................

Hi everyone bit of a quickies posting as I've got an appointment at 11.30. Sorry I've been MIA poorly kiddies, well poorly Natalie & now the youngest is not well. Mmmmm wonder if he feels better tomorrow when he has the new Call Of Duty lol.

Anyway I needed a quick last minute card so of course I'd seen the new 'Adorables'digi images from Sugar Nellie so I knew they would fit the bill, they are sooooooo easy & quick to colour.

A bit of something for Pollycraft..........

Hi everyone how are you all? I am so SO sorry for not getting around to everyone last night, I am running rather behind. No excuses tho..........I was watching the footie it was Newcastle UTD v Stoke City & we won 3-1......howay the lads lol. I'm a HUGE toon(newcastle) fan & well I have a sore throat today from all the shouting but I'm originally from Stoke-On-Trent, my great uncle Neil Franklin used to play for Stoke City so I do have a love for them but I have to say I'm soooooooooo pleased Newcastle won woopaaaaa!!

Right I will get straight on now. This is another image coloured about 2 months ago I think & I went for sepia tones on Kraft card...........

This is 'Clover Dancing With Dragonflies' from the Lilybean Fairy range at Pollycraft admittedly I've had these images since last year & only finally now coloured this 1 in.......I know shame on me.

The lace is from a shop on Ebay & the wicker heart is from my stash.

Pin I made myself

Flowers are a mixture from Crafty Emma's & WOC Papers used are Prima, I know Prima again lol, these ones are my fave 'Printery'. Kraft card used for matting & all edges inked with Vintage Photo.

She is of course coloured with Prisma pencils & the white dots on the mushroom & the 2 circle flowers I used Enamel Accents which is fabulous on kraft card.

Get me I even did real stitching with my sewing machine.........once I blew off the dust & nearly choked on it!

Well I'm off to have a quick catch up before I clean my bathrooms........oh the joy!!!

Crafts & Me DT Card...........Hiding!!!

Hello my lovelies I'm running late today cus the sky engineer has been........yep I complained its not sunny enough so he came to fix it lol. No my sky tv lol.

Well I'm back to doing my DT work & my 1st day is for Crafts & Me.

Now to be honest when I started colouring the other day it just wasnt happening after having all that time off. So I picked out a few of my favourite stamps to help get the juices flowing & it did actually start to flow..........how strange is that!!!

So here is my 1st of those stamps............yeah you know its a Crafts & Me stamp.......they are my FAVE!!

This is the beautiful 'Hiding' by Molly Harrison, I sooooo love her work, this stamp is exclusive to

Crafts & Me Store.

All flowers are from Crafty Emma's store

Here she is up close & personal, she of course been coloured with Copics & below is the colours I've used, I've devised a system so hopefully I can tell you the colours of every image lol.

Skin - E21 E00 E000 R11

Hair - E37 E35

Purples used are - V17 V01 V000 BV08 BV04 BV02 BV00 BV000 (I used a lot lol)

Greys - C7 C2 C3 N1 COO & added a bit of purple to the back stone wall as well.

E50 & Glitter for the moon & a wee bit of prisma pencils for highlighting & shading.

For the background sky I used distress inks......

Magnolia challenges............

Hello everyone, did those in the UK enjoy the extra hour's kip? I didnt I've been up half the night, cudnt sleep so I thought I would get some crafting done as I've a few orders to do. I found an image I coloured up about 2 months ago so I thought I would do a card for a couple of challenges I noticed this morn........1 ends today so will move on............

I coloured up 2 of these images but I will leave the other one for a while......I did a pink one & a blue one.

Today I show you pink lol.

This is 'Farewell Tilda' I've had for sooooo long I cant even remember if this was the first inking.......

New challenge this morn wants something hidden, so I've hid a sentiment.........saying 'Missing you so much'

I've also created a pocket inside for money or vouchers........does that class as hidden do ya think?? lol

Used gorgeous Prima papers with kraft card for matting, all paper & card has been inked with 'Vintage Photo' distress ink. Pink Daisy which has had a spray of matt white paint, all flowers from Crafty Emma's.

Tilda has of course been coloured with my beloved Copics, didnt write the colours down tho sorry!!

Lace, doily & metal corner from my stash. All dies are Magnolia Doo Hickey dies, except the little butterfly bottom corner.
