Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card & Poorly hubster ;0)

Hello again my lovelies, back again this time with my Crafts & Me DT Card. I will put the update about my hubster at the end of the post, maybe even a piccy lol.

Anyway the lovely talented Sara has moved over to the rubbah team..........wooo hooooooo thats girl is so talented I tell ya..........pop on over if you dont believe me ;0)

Anyway Sara has set an easy peasy theme this week of............

FAVOURITE EMBELLISHMENT

OMG.......you have seen how much of my foofiness I like how do I narrow something down to my fave!!

Well, its easy............add them all........well nearly ;0)

I have used 'Genevieve' by Hannah Lynn & went also with my fave colours, blue & brown.

I've used my Spellbinders 'Frame' & finally used the inside die as well, its only took 2 years lol. The blue oblong is the smaller die & the insert I made into a tag & stamped a 'Sentiment' on in 'Brown Memento'.

I've added 'Fresh Foliage' die but cut it in half to spread apart further............this is def gonna be one of my fave dies, I love it!!!!!! Also added Prima flower. The pearls were from my secret santa ;0)

I've added a gorgeous 'Circle Ornament' & attached a charm hanging from it & a beautiful 'Pearl Centre' I soooooooooooo love these, they really are soooo pretty!!! Cant remember where the angel charm is from.

The gorgeous papers are MME 'Paris & Co' & I've inked all the edges.

I also decorated inside as always & added Marianne 'Corners'. All the die cuts I cut from Dark Brown A4 card from my stash. I coloured the stamped image with copics & added pearl dots to her gloves with my Pearl Pen.

So my favourite embellishment is ALL OF THE ABOVE lol......I lurve all embellishments, my faves are pearls, flowers (of any kind), die-cuts........actually this could go on & on lol.

Now for the update on my hubster, well its been a long day & he ended up needing surgery, he had his operation this afternoon. He had shattered 2 bones, so they have inserted pins & wraped wire around the bones & pins to try keep it all in place, because the bones are thin in the hand they could slip & move & his hand wont heal. He cant use his hand at all & he's got to be extremely careful he doesn't knock it............he is feeling rather poop bless him.

Here he is resting & trying to look miserable lol.... I've brought the pillow off our bed for him to rest his arm on.

Tbh I'm rather lost without him as it takes 2 people to care for Natalie as she weighs nearly 9 stone, thats a lot of dead weight to dress & change a nappy & get into the wheelchair & Craig always does it with me & does the lifting so this next few weeks are gonna be hectic & tiring lol, however his health comes first & foremost. He is a fantastic hubster & is always willing to help with anything, he truly is my other half & I love him sooooooooo much.

I had everyone over for tea tonight as they were worried about him & wanted to see him, so I made home-made soup for everyone..........it cheered him up a bit ;0)

Well I'm gonna go & catch up with reading my comments & emails & try reply to all of them, if not tonight then I will tomorrow. I've still got a canny bit of DT work catch up with but I really will try my VERY best to catch up with you all asap.

Papertake Weekly GDT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you all? I'm sooooooooooo sorry I'm late with this & with my other DT cards that were due today. Last night was spent in A&E as my hubster tripped over one of Paytons toys in the passage way & smashed his hand into the wall...........ouch!! Anyway he's badly broken his left hand, there are a few bones broke & we've got go back today when hopefully the swelling has gone down & see a surgeon cus he may need an operation & have pins put in. Trouble is he's left handed so there is loads he cant manage now bless him.

Anyway I thought I would quickly pop on with my last GDT for Papertake Weekly which this time is a faberooney sketch. Again I've done a different image & gone with some sweet suger this time ;0)

I went with this oh so cute Sugar Nellie 'Bebe' from the Simply Adorable digi range.

The lace is from my stash & I used some more of that gorgeous 'Pleated Tulle' trim. Made a bow with ribbon from my stash & added the gorgeous Prima 'Zipper Pulls' I lurve these I really do!!

I have also decorated inside as always, click on the pic for a larger view.

I lightened the digi image & placed a verse over the top of it to also add inside to the top part of the card. Excuse the wet glue look I took the photo before the glue had dried............ooops!!

I love this verse though!!

The 'Sweet Dreams' sticker is from my stash which I brought when I first started crafting, I think its K&Co!

The ribbon thingy-ma-jig is off a tag off something I've brought Payton, I've got a few as I keep them, they are cute ;0)

I have used scraps of paper for this card, I think they are Fancy Pants............I think lol. I matted onto blue card, added a 'Doily' & some MF 'Pearls'. I have really enjoyed this sketch its been a long time since I followed a sketch.

Right I better get a wriggle on & take hubs up the hospital now to see this surgeon, wish him luck please my lovelies. I told him there was an easier way of getting out of the decorating............he didnt need go this far ;0) I do most of it anyway luckily & the wallpapering only I do that, I wont let hubs do it.............its my job!!

Deep Ocean Challenge GDT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you all? I'm gonna try make this a quick post as I'm about to go out get paint & stuff, my wallpaper came yesterday so I can start decorating. Half the bungalow needs doing, except the bedrooms & 1 of the bathrooms, although Natalie's I'm doing again cus I dont like it anymore lol, I get bored lol.

Ok so the lovely & so so darn talented Franz asked me a while ago if I would be Guest Designer for Deep Ocean Challenge, of course I said yes. Their theme this week is.........

I'm trying to use a lot more different images so you dont get bored seeing the same kind of image all the time & also ink up more rubber ;0)

I thought I would design something different & came up with this.

Inside is a tag.

The front I've used 'Henry', hubster got me this stamp for my 1st crafting christmas & on the other side is a poem I found on the internet.

Sticker thingies from my stash. Isnt that tulle & rose trim just gorgeous!!!!!

I fussy cut the image & propped it up on foam squares & of course added lace from my stash.

Simply Magnolia GDT - Love Is In The Air

Hello my lovelies how are you? Well we had quite a bit of snow again the other day then last night it rained all night so washed it all away ;0) Today we have beautiful sunshine.

Anyhho's I'm here today with a GDT card for Simply Magnolia I was sooooooo thrilled to be asked to be GDT........thank you sooooooooo much girls.

The fabulous theme is............

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Which means they want to see hearts, your creation has to be in the shape of a heart. I decided to decorate one of my wooden heart plaques I've had for a while..........unfortunately Mr Mojo disagreed but never mind.........

I have used Magnolia 'With Love - Rose Romance'  & inked the edges & slightly distressed in places.

Added some 'Cheese Cloth' & pretty 'Pearl Hearts' & cut a heart out using my MS punch.

All the fowers are from WOC & the 'Scalloped Edge Pearls' are. I made up 2 little scrolls using some tickets. 

I made a bow with pink seam binding & attached it to a 'Heart' tag & attached a 'Love Hanger' which I painted white with Gesso. The foam letters are from my stash.

The fabulous cheeky image is 'Bonny Tilda' from the latest 'With Love' Magnolia collection. As always I coloured her with copics.........

Grey Prisma pencil & 'Stickles' on the wings.

Background was done in B00, B000, BOOOO & I added 'Pearl Dots' using my Pearl Pen.

I made a handle with silver wire & threaded Ivory pearls on it to add to the girly look. Hat pin is also from my stash. The whole hear5t was also painted with White Gesso before decorating ;0)

Challenges I'm Entering............

Magnolia Down Under - Wings (missed last weeks challenge :0(

Copic Marker Europe DT Card - Tara

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Yayyyy its the weekend I soooooooo love weekends I get to spend lots of time with all my family...........what more could I ask for :0)

Todays card is for the Copic Marker Europe blog. Now most of you know my 2 most favourite things to colour are faces/skin & hair I could sit & colour these all day long, these never stress me out, never worry me & I find them so relaxing to do. Everyone has a favourite thing they like to colour, these are mine.

As you know I had a huge love of Sweet Pea stamps as well as Hannnah Lynn but I havnt done a Sweet Pea stamp for sooooooooooo long, well they have now gone digital woooooo hooooooo I lurve digi images the most. So I went over, (yes its took me a while to find out they have gone digital lol) & brought a few images. 

My 2 fave artists over there are Ching-Choux Kuik & Karen Middleton, I love her faces thats she draws. This one is by Karen Middleton & is called 'Tara', isnt she so beautiful!!

I have used 2 of the new dies from MB, LOVE these ones the most I think ;0) I've used 'Fresh Foliage' & cut it out with white card & dabbed Gesso all over it to give it texture. I also cut out 2 of

 'Forget Me Not Stem' in a sage green card.

I decorated inside to compliment the front, I also kept all the flowers neutral so the image would be the main focus. I added a 'Metal Corner' which I painted with white Gesso.

I have added beautiful white & sage green lace from my stash, the green is showing its true colour though for some reason. I also stamped the sentiment in Ivy green.

This pretty lady was of course coloured with Copics, colours used are........

Face - E13, E21, E00, E000, E0000, Cheeks R20 & Lips R85

Hair - C9, C7, C5, C3, C2, C0

Leaves YG97, YG93, YG91 & Blender pen to lighten bits of them.

I also added White Liquid Pearls to the berries.

The background around her was done with G000 & the Blender pen.

I matted her onto a Spellbinders die which was cut out of grey card & then dabbed with White Gesso.

Papers used are Pion Studio Of Memories 'Collage & Ring Of Roses' & I inked all the edges with Weathered Wood DI. Papers are light to let the image again be the main focus.

Papertake Weekly GDT Card - Tie Up Your Loose Ends

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Sorry I've been missing in action for few days I've had severe withdrawal from a certain pill I'm on as the prescription didnt get done last week, so I had to go 4 days without, so its been a weekend of suffering. I tried go down Ben & Megans on sat as I dont like letting the kids down but ended up back at home an hour later & in bed for the afternoon.

Anyhoo's I did manage to finally make my GDT last night for the new challenge over at

 Papertake Weekly, this week its.............

TIE UP YOUR LOOSE ENDS - add a bow

A fab challenge & come on who doesnt like bows ;0)

Now you know when you have an idea in your head, yeah well this didnt turn out the way I wanted it to, but its starting to grow on me...........I think lol.....

No image cus its hard to colour with the shakes, funny though lol. This is a 'Thank you' card for Ben & Megan give to their nanna (my step-mum) as she has helped them out with moving. I'm putting a thankyou verse on the inside.

I just went with dies, flowers & of course a bow.

The die underneath the flowers is a new die MB 'Lavish Branch' & I added 2 cus I loved it so much ;0)

Also added Marianne 'Corner', love this corner die I think its my fave corner die ;0)

Papers are MME & the key charm is from.............no idea lol, I think maybe Ebay... Also added

 'Cheese cloth' & some 'Jute fabric' for a bit of texture.

I used Cheery Lynn 'Birdcage' die & then drew around the die on some music backing paper to put behind it, raised it up a bit & added a MME brad to the top. I also cut out Marianne 'Bird On Branch' die. The button & ribbon are from my stash. Inside of course was decorated as always.

Saturated Canary DT Card - Sitting at the movies....

Good afternoon all you lovely jubbly people, how are you all? Do you have snow still? My goodness its so slippy up here, its very rare we get it living so close to the sea. You should see all the kiddies on their sledges its fab seeing them with their rosy cheeks & big smiles..............

Anyhoo I'm back again with another DT card, yep busy week this week lol. This one of course is for Saturated Canary Challenges, is it really a week since I did "£1 Fish" lol......gosh its going quick.

Ok so lats challenge was songs, this one is another fab one chosen by our lovely Mindy.....

Inspired By A Movie........

I had sooooooo many idea's running through my head but then had to go with this cute couple..........

Can you guess the film???????? lol............yes of course you can 'My Girl', are you singing the song yet as well? I had it in my head the whole time I was making this card ;0)

The papers are my favourite papers Glitz 'Pretty In Pink' I love this pads so so much, its my absolute fave!!

I made a double bow with pink seam binding from my stash & attached this most gorgeous

 Prima 'Zipper Pull', if you click on the photo you can see it says 'Love' on the zip pull & then the hanging charm says 'You'.

Doily is from my stash, flowers from WOC & I added 'Elegant Scrollwork' die & MF 'Pearls'.

This cute couple is of course one of Krista's new release digi images, 'Puppy Love', have you ever seen a sweeter, cuter couple!!!

They were coloured with copics & prisma pencils & the background was also coloured with copics.

I also added a 'Heart' pearl to the image ;0)

I added 'Vintage Birdcage' die with another MF 'Pearl' & gorgeous 'Jolie' lace. Inside was also decorated & there is another heart doily in there ;0) I used my Dynamo thingy-ma-jig for the sentiment.
