Tilda Wearing A Head Wreath............

Good morning all my lovely friends, how are you all? I hope the weather is good where ever you are its absolutely glorious here again so hubby is mowing the front lawn bless him.

Took my step-mum to the vets this morning, well not her, her dog I mean!! She has a Dobermann he is the softest thing on 4 legs, he is gorgeous but he's getting old. Anyway she took him the vets & he has a heart murmer, his back legs are going & his kidneys are failing so unfortunately the dog has not come back it was best & kindest for him to be put sleep. He was nearly 16 years old he was the oldest the vet had seen in such a big dog........its so sad tho & we will miss him so much.... My step-mum is very upset, luckily she has 2 yorkies to keep her occupied a little.

Anyway now onto my card I actually made this last night & just put the flowers on this morn I've decided that I will do most of my posts in a morn cus then I get all the natural light which I love lol.

Well you read the title & yes I've done a magnolia card I have had this stamp since maybe last summer cant remember TBH lol however I found it yesterday & shamefully the packet was still sealed at the back oops.

So I thought I would colour her up............

Yep she is an oldie but a cutie still lol. I needed a fix with all my faffy things after the CAS card, wow I cant do many of them......they kill me....I had hair right down my back....I'm now BALD!!!!! lol.

Shabby chiccy kinda card. Wavy edges were done with me Crafters Companion 12x12 paper cutter.

Isn't she a doll lol & guess what I've even coloured her......oops soryy Painted her with Distress Inks....yeah get me lol........still need loooooaaaaads of practice tho, I really should start using them more!!

Took the piccy's on the little bench thats outside my ickle hobbit. The paper is a digital download from the Etsy store, I've distressed them & then inked them with Vintage Photo .

The vintage seam binding is 'Hug Snug' from the US & I've frayed the edges to coincide with the whole shabby look........I love this stuff!!!

The flowers & lace ar from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The stamp is of course 'Tilda Wearing Floral Head Wreath' from Sir Stamp A Lot, who might I add has a sale on loads of stuff so I'm away shopping in a min to buy some more bits for my candy & maybe a few things for moi lol.

Well thats it from me I would like to say hi & a big big welcome to my new followers big squishy hugs to you & thankyou for following me I'm truly honoured...

Also a big thankyou to all that gave me their opinions yesterday about my candy I soooooo appreciate it, I just hope you like what I will be offering.....

Well I'm off to make my man a cuppa then shopping. I'm not sure if this card fits any challenges as I really did do it just for fun.....make have a peekskie round in a bit.

Thank you for stopping by I will come see you all very soon I promise.

Toodles for now xoxoxoxo

Would love to have your opinion plzzzzzzzzzzz.......

Hello all my lovelies. It is absolutely glorious up here in the north it is soooo warm I've even had my double doors open on my hobbit, its lush. Been trying to get stuck in with the garden a lot of things need rescuing after the poop winter we've had. In between my craft room & the conservatory is decking with a small pond set in it, well to be honest its more of a water feature lol. Either side I planted a grass, one of these that grown really big & bushy. I planted them 4 years ago when we first started the garden after moving in. 2 years ago my hubby built the conservatory & the plants got knocked about but they survived. If you look at the far end in this piccy you can see the tall grasses.....my pride & joy...........

This was taken early last spring before my craft room got extended, you might have to enlarge the piccy to see the grasses prop....soz its the only one I can find at the mo lol.

This is my extended craft room....look at my lovely grass tho now.....

You can just see it next to the barbeque.............. :0( I am gutted.......(Excuse the bag over my chimney it needed resealing lol....all this decking has got be re-stained.....any takers???)lol

Anyway onto your opinion sorry to bore you peeps lol. Now I've been buying odds & ends over the last month ready for my 1 year anniversary, 1 year since I started blogging & crafting......yes a year ago I seem to remember having lots of money........it seems to be in a different kind of paper now tho.......strange really some say websters on it.....do ya think its the new £50 note???

Anyway without trying to give too much away......I dont want to ruin the surprise now lol. Say I had a set of pens or paints or crayons etc etc but I had used about half a dozen but the set was large & nearly all of it was unused. Would anyone accept it as part of a candy as its not all brand new in that set???

Answers please on a comment postcard in the tab below.........think this gorgeous weather has gone to my heed.........ner I was already doolally lol.

If you could give me your honest opinion I would sooooo appreciate it.

This set is a good one & I REALLY dont want to throw it but its not right its collecting dust either.

Thank you for your time my darlings will have to go get tea ready now will see you all laters

The Rose..........also an update about Natalie

Good evening all you lovely jubbly people how are you all? Well my daughter went back school yesterday, her scratches are healing nicely & the dressing on her tummy is healing nicely we were able to leave the dressing off tomorrow. The person who attacked her is never allowed in her class & the staff are to be a lot more vigilant. I have told them Natalie requires on them to be her hears, eyes & voice she cant do any of that herself so has faith in her carers to do that job. The nurse would you believe didnt think the cut on her tummy warranted a plaster.........I always thought an open wound requires covering at least for a few hours. When you get a needle what does a nurse do after??.... she applies a plaster!!! She is now very grumpy & screaming her head off now so I'm gonna get on & do this quick, think she heard me talking about her to you lol.

Right tonights card is for the 'Less Is More' challenge....yes you heard right, I know I'm a girl who loves her bellies & flowers these are what can make a card beautiful enough to drool on....ok so thats what I do as I'm patrolling blogland lol.

Now the challenge is add a touch of red.....just remember my motto is 'MORE IS MORE' usually lol

I stamped a sentiment stamp onto white card with Momento black & then stamped a rose in Firebrick Red distress ink. This is 'The Rose' named after my dad, I used to sing the Bette Midler version on karaoke when I'd set up my DJ decks to make sure sounding etc was right & it was my dad's fave song he liked to hear me sing........so this is in memory of my best friend....my dad!!!

The bottom I cut out using a WOJ die. Yes I've still done inside but even that is less & the 4 gems on the front well they made me do it........I blame them you know......sssshhhh I wont tell if you dont!!

Right I'm off to try  & settle my daughter off......hence the tryyyyyyy!!

My hubby is sitting next to me he has just done me a cuppa & as he looked over all he could read was where it says WOJ.........whats a WOJ he asks.........its not drugs is it??? ROFL they make you laugh dont they lol.

I'm really away now

Tatty Bye peeps love's ya & thank you for stopping by on my basic CAS card.....I will be back tomorrow with something very ott.....I hope lol....

CES Challenges DT Card..........Children

Good morning my lovely friends. Yayyyyy its Saturday dont ya just love the weekends woo hoooo.

I have had the most hectic week poorly kiddies & poorly hubby, my sons turbo blew in his car which still isnt fixed as it needs a new air intake pipe which is what caused the damage in the first place & then there has been the fiasco at Natalie's school to sort out..... On top of this I've had the busiest crafting week EVER lol.........phew I've also got 2 creations to do over the weekend.......

Right anyway onto my post & as its Saturday that must mean its time for CES Challenges.

This week the lovely Sheena set the theme which is 'Children' so your creations can be for children or have children on them or both.

My mojo is wearing down a bit now I think I've done that much crafting this week lol......but just to stretch it a wee bit further I've done another male card.........check me out how brave am I lol.....actually I ordered this little fella off Emma & when he arrived in the week I knew I had to use him so Imanaged to get him coloured & onto a card last night......... yes I was cutting it fine lol.

Here is 'Skater Ben' by Whiff Of Joy, I am loving all their new ranges they are fabulous & I'm away to get their digi images later today lol.

Used my circle cutter for the shape always forget I've got this thing its very rare I use it TBH. All edges were also distressed with me skissors lol.

The Happy Birthday is actually cut out of a birthday card that my hubby got for his birthday in Feb. I just cut the letters out & popped them on foam pads. The dude letters are from my jewellery making stash, for making phone charms, I just threaded bakers twine through the beads.

He is of course coloured with Copics, will try sort the colours used out later.

Inside is also decorated of course.

The white A4 card & brown A4 card for matting are from my stash, The papers are Basic Grey 'Oliver', it really is a fabulous pad, the blue paper I ripped in a slant to make it sort of look like a ramp. The papers, bakers twine & the WOJ stamp are all from Crafty Emma's Store.

Hope you will join us this week as we all love seeing your creations. Pop on over to the challenge blog here to look at my fabulous teamies creations.....stunning is an understatement!!!

Well I'm off to come & visit you all cus I've missed all your blogs, I didnt even get my night off last night, fingers crossed for tonight tho.

Will be back tomorrow with my first Kenny K DT card which is not a male card lol.

New Ronnie Charity image...........plus a blog hop reminder

Good morning all my lovelies. Well its certainly been a busy week crafting & got few more DT creations to show you still over the weekend & Monday.......phew didnt think I would get them all done & some have been forgotten about til the last few hours lol.

Anyway this post is to tell you about a new Ronnie image.

Helen from Ellephantastic contacted Crafty Emma & asked if she could donate an image to help raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of Emma's dad. Emma's dad loved art & used to go an art class. So helen created 'Painting Ronnie' which is fabulous of her.

I know a huge amount of you have contributed towards this fabulous charity who run solely off donations, if there are no donations there would be no air ambulance & believe they are the hero's of the sky.

So PLEASE pop on over & buy this fabulous image for just £1.50......its nothing its pennies & you would be donating to a charity that could very well save one of your families life one day.

ALL proceeds go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Meet 'Ronnie Painting'

Now to be honest I totally forgot I said I would help Emma spread the word, it was only last night when she put her card on the DT blog & well lets say I left flames I rushed around that much. Its been one of those weeks in the Vicky household but here is Ronnie on the card I made.....remember it was a rush job & more to it its.....MALE themed lol.

Here is my card I also decoupaged Ronnie up to make him 3D which was by accident to TBH I  didnt like the first image I coloured so I printed him out again popped him on some foam pads & voila Ronnie 3D LOL. I even held my copic blender onto the red on the painting to make it look as tho he is an amature bless him lol. The card I use is fab the colours lie on top for nicer blending & you dont get any bleed which is a huge plus & very important to me anyway  lol.

The papers are Basic Grey 'Oliver' which is a fab pad for those male cards. The buttons & brown glimmer card is from my stash as to is the Brother Charm but the scalloped card & Bakers Twine are from Crafty Emma's which is where you can also buy this fabulous image. So pop along to HERE to buy this little cutie.

On a completely different note there is a blog hop that kicks off tonight at 18.00 UK time. The blog hop is to celebrate Teresa's anniversary for Crafts & Me which has been going for a year now & also to celebrate her expanding DT team both on the Digi team & the rubber team. Her store is just fabulous & her own range of digi images & rubber stamps is quite vast & a fantastic selection to suit everyone. Even those that love the fantasy side of things where we can let our imaginations loose & free.

Anyway the blog hop has goodies on everyone's post so come back later to find out more about these fabulous prizes up for grabs......you wont want to miss it.

Right I have to go as I have 2 DT projects to work on & get finished including the one for the blog-hop.

Thankyou soooooo much for stopping by I did catch up with most of you yesterday but I will be back tonight to come see you all.

Til then tatty bye my lovely friends.

Huggles to you all xoxoxoxo

Crafty Purple Frog Challenges DT Creation

Good morning my friends how are you this morning? First I would like to welcome my 2 new followers...hi (waving like a loony) thank you soooo very much for following me I really do appreciate it. Well after a night of rain we actually have some sun now which is of course fab yesterday it was just miserable all day altho it wasn't cold I still had my window open in my hobbit, so shouldn't complain. Anyway thats it for the weather report up next is a DT creation lol.

Its time for Crafty Purple Frog Challenges & this fortnight the challenge is...

Anything But Square

No square cards at all lets see those shapes peeps.

I did a candle & then I made a box for it to go in....with an acetate front so you can still see the candle

This is 'The Glance' decoupage from Crafty Purple Frog Store. You can still put digi images onto candles & the good thing with these images is even tho they come as a decoupage you dont have to use every layer if you dont want to & they are fab for a quick make.

The candle I actually made before crimbo but then put it up & completely forgot about it til this week lol.

Sentiment on the back of the candle I also printed out.

The tag is made with a Magnolia die & the front fancy sides were made with a WOJ metal die.

Each side has been heat embossed with hologram embossing powder from Crafts & Me.

I made the box then decorated each side with lilac card from my stash. Everything is from my stash except the flowers which I got from Crafty Emma's.

The kids are giving this to my step-mum, their gran for mother's day. Just gotta order the bouquet of flowers & go fetch the present. Unfortunately Craig's mum died when he was 8 years old so we only have my

step-mum so we tend to spoil her......well all mums should be spoilt.

Well thats it from me please pop over to see my teamies creations. We hope you can join us we love seeing all your fab creations.

Tatty bye for now I'm off to catch up with some commenting. Thank you so much for popping by I really do appreciate it....mmwah loves ya all.
