A Creative Romance DT Card & Exciting News

Good morning everyone I'm here today with my DT card for A Creative Romance, yep its time for a new challenge. Last fortnight we set the theme for Male cards, well this fortnight its............

GIRLIE

...............super duper easy!! So no excuse to join along this fortnight.

For my girlies card I used a gorgeous fairy from LOTV, only this time I used an older one. I got this when it was released but unfortunately she has sat un-inked til now :0(

I added Pearl Rose Organza Trim along the top, love this stuff ;0)

The leaves are form a Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Swirl & Leaf'. The large pink flower is from WOC.

As always the inside is decorated to compliment the front. The papers are Magnolia & I've inked them with Pumice Stone & machine stitched them, yep even the ones on the front ;0)

I had to add the swirl, its my favourite die ;0)

This super cute fairy is called 'Never Too Old For A Hug' & I think she may now be my favourite fairy, I totally got lost in colouring her, loved it!! She is coloured with copics, colours used are...

E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20 - Skin

E47, E44, E43, E41 - Hair

E43, E41, E40 - Teddy Bear

R85, R83, R81, RV10, RV0000 - Skirt, Wings & Headband

C5, C3, C1, C00 - Shirt & I used a white gel pen for the spots

The sentiment came with the stamp from LOTV |& the frame is from MIC which I've had forever but only found them this week, I covered it in 'Shabby White Frantage'. All of the smaller flowers are from LLC.

Speaking of Live & Love Crafts, do you see my new badge? Yes I applied when Sandy had a DT call for her gorgeous store, I have to say I nearly didnt as I knew she would have a huge response to it & there are soooooooooo many talented crafters out there. However I have 2 dream DT's that I would love to be on & LLC is one of them......I'm not telling you the other one as I know I dont stand a chance of ever getting on there :0( Anyhoo's Sandy got in touch & well...........I'm now on Live & Love Crafts DT wooooooooo hoooooooooooooo. I cant explain how utterly excited, happy, proud & so many other feelings that go along with this.

Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card & New Release info

Hello again my lovelies, I'm back with my DT card for Deep Ocean Challenge, boy are these weeks flying by.

Ok so for this fortnights challenge we have a theme that I know many of you lurve............

WINGS

..........see told you that many of you love that, I can hear the 'Woops' all around lol.

I have used a Saturated Canary image but I have cropped her. Now I lurve to crop Krista's images a lot because I think Krista draws such pretty faces & soemtimes I think its nice to see it close up. Also it gives a different outlook to an image ;0)

Also back to my foofiness kinda card lol ;0) Its also my first time at No-Lines image so excuse some of the colouring mistakes :0/

Isn't this image just soooooooo gorgeous. This is a birthday card for Natalie off me & her dad, I needed a pretty young lady for her card & well Krista's images were just perfect for the job. This one I went with for the long hair as Natalie's is down to her bottom nearly but is always tied up because she eats it, chews it, dribbles on it............yep you name it lol.

I've used my MS PATP punch set for the edging around the card. All lilac & white card are from my stash, lilac card may have come from Papermill direct but I cant remember.

I lurve this gorgeous lace, its called 'Sephora' from Live & Love Crafts, seriously I could sit & just stroke this one as the feel of it is just gorgeous, its lush & kinda like a silky feel........love it!!!

I also threaded some string in the centre of it & added some lush 'Tulle Trim' as well. The lace I machine sewed onto the paper either side of the string.........its definately secure on there lol.

I decorated the inside to compliment the front. The paper I've used is Maja Design 'Vintage Spring Basics' 6x6 pad, I inked the edges with Pumice Stone & machine sewn all the layers. The frame was inked with 'Milled Lavender' distress ink.

So the uber gorgeous image is called 'Ribbons Fairy' & I coloured her with copics & I added pearl dots around using Liquid Pearls. I used the faint lines version of the image to have the no lines effect.

The tag I cut from the Maja pad & added numbers for Natalie's age, 22 this year I cant believe how old she is getting. Anyhoo's the numbers I cut from Maja Design 'Its Christmas Time-Die Cut Letters'. The lilac brad is from my stash. The border along the top I cut from the same paper pad. I still need to add a 'Daughter' sentiment.

Hello everyone how are you all?

I'm popping on quickly to show you a card I made using products from Bunny Zoes. Whats more I made a CAS card...........yep me & CAS are becoming friends........woo hoo. Even more shocking is I actually chose my papers first before colouring my image on this card, now its very rare I do that, I always do it the naughty way lol.

I'm also starting to love this colour combo, though this stamp really could pull off any colour ;0)

I used Collall 3D glue under the image to give it a bit of dimension.

The sentiment is from Whimsy & I used a blank ticket & stamped that in Crushed Olive distress ink then added the wording & stamped that in Cocoa Memento. I cut the ticket out using the Whimsy Ticket die. The flag I made from a piece of scrap paper from making the card & attached that & the sentiment with a Pearl Brad.

The stamp is from CC Designs & is called 'Pocket Birgitta' & I coloured her with Copics. I also stamped some Trailing Ivy from a Kaisercraft stamp in Crushed Olive down each side.

What A Lovely Day

Hello everyone how are you all? I meant to post this card earlier but the weather has been so glorious & hot so havn't been at my laptop.

I have a card that I made for 3 challenges, yeah 3 challenges can you believe it lol.

Live & Love Crafts Challenge is an inspiration pic below, so pretty!!

LOTV monthly challenge wants to see 'Fairies' & The Ribbon Girl challenge which is also LOTV this week wants to see 'Pearls'..............so here it is to fit all 3 ;0)

Now as LOTV want to see 'Fairies' I have of course used one of their uber gorgeous new Fairy stamps

I also made this card for a special young lady, yes my daughter Natalie is 22 next month 6th June & this is the card off her younger brother...... So it had to be soft, pink & oh yes pretty like my daughter '0)

I will list all the items used at the bottom. The papers have all been distressed, inked & machine sewn.

The leaves are Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns' die & the rolled roses are a Marianne die with pink card from my stash & I added White Paint.

The stamp is called 'Hugs' which I thought was perfect for Natalie off her brother. I lurve all of these new fairies & I dont think I can pick a fave so went by what they were called to pick one for Natty's card.

I have coloured with Distress markers & added glitter to her wings & flowers.

The resin oval is MF 'Provincial Frame' which has also been coated in Shabby Pink Fran-Tage. The letters spelling out 'SIS' are from Pion 'Red Clover' from the Grandma's School Book 6x6 collection. The die the image sits on & the butterfly edge are both from Joy Crafts. Pink seam binding is from my stash & the pearl centre is Maya Road, Sandy has different ones now which are just as gorgeous, here is the link.

Hello everyone how are you all? 

The card I have today I actually made quite a few weeks ago & completely forgot to blog it....oops!!

Ive not even used a coloured image..........just some yummy papers & an image from the same collection.......ok I'm just gonna show ya ;0)

The totally gorgeous papers are Pion & are from the beautiful 'A Day In May' collection. This one is 'Tags 6x6'. I inked the edges with Pumice Stone & machine sewn all layers.

All the flowers are WOC, the cream ones were from LLC. I sprayed all the flowers with white florist spray to soften them & add a little bit of white. If you click on the picture you can see it. The spray is fab if you want to tone down colours or create like a dusting look on them.

This is the inside, sorry about the pic I have no idea how this ended up higgledy piggledy. No I wasnt drunk, I'm stupid enough sober never mind drunk ;0)

The lace is 'Madeleine' & I machine sewed it to the paper.

Both of the laces are from LLC & so is the 'Metal Corner' which was has been painted with Gesso. The bottom lace is 'Madeleine' & the top lace which has now ran out :0( is............I dont know because I cant find it.........excuse me a minute while I go cry......... :0(

The image is again Pion from the 'A Day In May' collection, this one is 'Images 12x12' & I distressed & inked the edges then machine sewn around it. The butterflies I cut from 'Borders 12x12' again from the same collection. I cut them out inked the edges & applied Crackle Accents.

The 'Doilies' are from LLC. The swirl is of course Magnolia's 'Swirl & Leaf' die.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card

Hello everyone on this bright sunny morning, well it is here by the sea........fingers crossed it stays like this & I can get all the bedding on the line ;0)

Well it's time for a new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & its a fab one & super duper easy...

PRETTY IN PINK

..............ya gotta love pink, I'm not a pink kinda gal but I love making pink cards.....isn't that strange.

I've finally got around to inking up this pretty Tilda...

Yep its definately 'Pink' well ya have to make sure on these things dont you ;0)

The 2 yummy laces & doily are from my stash. I've added Magnolia 'Swirl' die & Magnolia 'Swirly Butterfly' die. The sparkly on the lace is Kaisercraft 'Crystal Sparklet' & the centre pink flower Kaisercraft Paper Bloom.

I've also added the cat from Magnolia's 'Paris Night' die. I added 2 tiny pearls to act as eyes ;0)

The butterflies are from Tim Holtz 'On The Edge-Butterflight', I layered them up using 2 different papers & I added small WOC flowers. Of course there is also another Kaisercraft 'Crystal Sparklet' on the lace.

The stamp is 'Virgo Tilda' from the Zodiac collection & I coloured her with Copics then fussy cut her out & sat in Marianne D 'Window'. I also added a small pearl to the centre of her flowers on her head.

The super yummy papers are MME 'Heirloom' & I inked the edges with Pumice Stone & distressed them a little bit then machine sewn them as always. I also added tiny pearls to the ends of each swirl on the Magnolia die, might be hard to see though :0(

I have used one of the fabulous new Magnolia 'Animals Of The Year' stamps, lurve this collection.

All ingredients used with links will be at the bottom of the post.

I've also used the new Magnolia papers which really are soooooooo pretty, they really are. I also edged the edges with Pumice Stone, distressed them a little & machine sewn them.

The top lace is from my stash, the bottom one from Bunny Zoes. The sentiment is a Marianne Design one. The small cream flowers are from WOC.

Of course I used my favourite leaf die for under the flowers. I've also added Magnolia's new 'Gladiolus' flowers, which are LUSH!!

The seam binding is from my stash, I threaded a silver jump ring through the bow & attached 2 charms, the top one is from my stash & under it reveals a charm I got a long time ago from Bunny Zoes. Excuse my finger ;0) I also stamped the sentiment on the Magnolia tag as well.

The stamp I've used is Magnolia Tilda With Maggie The Monkey & I coloured it with Distress Markers & also added a few pearls.
