CES Challenges DT Card..............Party, Party, Party!!!!

Hello peeps how are you all? This is a scheduled post I'm hoping to still be in bed a kip.

Sorry for not getting to any blogs last night I went out into the hobbit & didnt realise the decking was so icy...........yep bang straight down I went... Craig always knows when I've really hurt myself cus I laugh......LOADS lol....yeah the hospital thought it weird when I broke my ankle a few years ago. Anyway spent an hour soaking in bath then in bed with hot water bottle lol. Scheduled this about 1 o'Clock this morning.

Right anyway its our last challenge of the year over at CES Challenges, so this new challenge will last til after the new year to give the DT girlies a break over the hols. So as its that time of year where you know you are gonna have a least 1 party to attend the theme for this challenge is.....

PARTY, PARTY, PARTY

For my card I did the obvious party of the year...........ta daaaaaaaaaaa

Happy New Year...........we all love new years parties.....it marks the end to a year whether it be good or bad & we welcome in the new year with hopes & dreams for the year ahead.............

I used 6x6 On The Edge 'Petal Point' card blank & lay it against the back & drew around the petal point & cut it out so both edges front & back were the same.

The papers are 'All Prima' by Prima & have all been edged with vintage photo & matted onto light beige card.

The fabulous image is of course from Mo Manning 'Happy New Year Baby Bella & Bronte' I had to choose this as this will be for Ben & Megan & we should be welcoming a baby into our lives......so excited lol!!!

The card is made for Mo's challenge as they want to see fabric & I've got the netting stuff & lace.

Papers, 6x6 Card & Flowers are all from Crafty Emma's Store.

I won the last challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil I'm soooooo chuffed, thanks again girls so so much.

Well I'm gonna go now but I will be catching up with you all soon, well after I've caught up with DT commenting 1st lol.

Little Apprentice.........fairy in training....

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Hope you are all keeping safe & warm especially those who have bad snow. Well been busy shopping all day today in between commenting.....phew its hard work trawling those shops............my fingers ache lol.........yep done it all from my sofa again, better than getting stressed & pushed about lol.

Anyway I forgot to post this card earlier that I made for Ben & Megan from Jake & Natalie, I actually followed a challenge sketch for this one..........lol.

This little cutie is 'Little Apprentice' by Sugar Nellie, I brought these as soon as they were released unfortunately its took til now to her up..........head hanging low!!!!

Now the challenge I followed is a sketch with the potion of No DP's so I matted red card onto a

6x6 card blank & then with a 'Classified Ads' Whimsy Stamp stamped onto vellum & heat embossed with white & silver.

Image has been coloured with Copics & lots of glitter added, she soooo deserves to be sparkly. Added a gem to her wand & her lollipop in her pocket.

1st Snow - Zindy Nielson......new release sneak peek.........

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Gosh this weather is getting colder & colder isn't it, hubster set a fire going in the wood burner in my craft room tonight so it was toasty warm.........love listening to logs crackling away as they burn lol.

Anyway tonight I have a super gorgeous sneak peek for you of a new release........its very rare I ink a stamp as soon as it lands through my door but OMG I sure did with this beauty.........

..........I will let you see why.......

This is '1st Snow' by a new artist called Zindy Nielson available only at Crafts & Me Store soon.

Isn't she gorgeous!! I coloured her red as she reminds me of Belle from Beauty & The Beast (walt disney) where she is throwing snowballs at beast outside............love that film lol.

I made the card base from suede feel A4 card & then matted paper onto kraft card, the paper I splodged around the edges with white paint.....cant remember what the paper is called sorry peeps!

The snowflake I heat embossed with white & silver powder.. I added Jute Ribbon with some seam binding & lace from my stash. Added a snowflake charm to the bow from my stash.

All paper flowers are from WOC.

This gorgeous image was coloured of course with Copics & I added stardust stickles to the fur on her hood.

Floppy

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Are you all organised & ready for santie come doon your chimneys lol.

Well I'm behind on everything including my commenting as my fabulous (in sarcastic tone) internet keeps letting me down. I've got another flat & basic card for crimbo posties & again without any designer papers, I was on a roll & did 3 a few days ago lol......................................

Isn't he a cutie....awwwww....his name my dear friends is 'Floppy' but I like to call him 'Floppsy' lol he is of course from the fabulous Make It Crafty Store & is a digi image.

The lovely snowflake I made with my Whimsy die & then heat embossed with gold & stuck a button from my stash in the middle....

The cute image was coloured in Copics but I did colour him about a montha go so really have no ideas what colours I used........his bobbly thing on his hat & his belt buckle I covered with Tarnished Brass Stickles. I Used the same red card to mat on & cut the corners with my punch & then added this to some card cut out using my favourite die.........which I heat embossed with white & silver powder.

The card base is scalloped 6x6 card blank & I used Pillar Box Red A4 Card for matting. The one on the front was embossed with a snowflake folder. The sentiment I cant remember where the stamp was from but I stamped with versa & heat embossed with gold.

Well thats it from me peeps as I made this card a few days ago I have no idea if it will fit any challenges so will go have a peeksie while I'm doing my rounds to come see you all.

Also I would like to say a huge welcome to my lovely new followers & a huge thank you to them (waving madly........helllooooooo)

White christmas with Hannah Lynn



Hello peeps I'm running soooooooo late today........this christmas malarky has got me doolally......can you believe we have less than 2 weeks!!!!!!!!! ARRGGGHHHHH.......yep I'm starting to panic!!!

Anyway altho I have a lot of crimbo stamps & images I like stamps that can be used ALL year round....not just for certain occasions. So this year I've been using every day images as well for christmas cards.....having a bit of a play & to be honest I think you could prob use most images for most occasions.

I coloured her in red to make it look like a little santy outfit lol........I've still to add a sentiment but I cant decide which one & who its going to lol. I've used no designer papers on this at all.

Kept everything white & glittery to reflect winter & snow but with a touch of red to represent father christmas lol.

Well today I have another crimbo card that I did the other day I have used another Mo Manning digi. I decided to look through my digi folder the other day & OMW  I have soooo many that I still havnt used so my aim is to try use them as well as my stamps. This image I brought last year but never got the chance to use it :0(

This is for my cousin's baby, she had her first baby the day after the lovely Emma had Olivia so this is his first crimbo........

Isnt he just sooooooooo adorable I could pick him up & just wrap him in love & snuggles....

Hello all my lovelies how are you all?

Megan saw the midwife & baby is doing fine its 3/5ths down so bubs is getting ready....its what me & Craig call baby lol.... Craig seems to think bubs will come early well we all do but Craig is that certain he has wrote the dat on the calender.......he thinks it will come on the 20th December.....well we'll see lol.

Anyway enought of my rambling today sees a new challenge over at CES Challenges & this week the challenge is................A TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS

Gypsy Dancer - Saturated Canary...............

Howdy doody everyone, how are you all? I hope the weather is not too bad where ever you are here in the North its really bad........I think Scotland are getting it even worse bless them. The winds are so bad I usually go along a dual carriage way to pick my son up from school cus its about 5 miles away, however I went the other way to avoid it as the winds were really bad on the van with it being higher.

Well I've not been around much today on the internet had a few apointments & probs with internet AGAIN!! So we have gone with a new provider today but it will take 11 days before we go live with them, so we have to put up with the rubbish we have til then grrrrrrrrrrr........

Anyway I made a card the other day so I thought I would show it to you as I've not done any crafting today but I got a few made earlier this week.............

The gorgeous image is 'Gypsy Dancer' isn't her hair fabulous & those that know me know that I luuurrrvve hair...........so this I loved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Papers are from Nitwits' Heavenly Too' & all the edges have been inked with Vintage Photo & matted onto kraft card.

I used MS punch for the edge of the kraft card & inked the edge.

She has of course been coloured with Copics but I cant remember which ones I know for her hair I think I used E18 E15 E11

Crafts & Me DT Card.............Winter brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hello all my lovelies how are you? Its freezing up here in the North but thankfully not as cold as yesterday. I took my son school yesterday morning & going along I put my window washer on to clear the windscreen & the water froze as soon as it hit the window..........couldn't hardly see out & in a big van thats not good. Luckily I was only a few yards from leaving mine so I was able get a jug of warm water & defrost it lol.

Well today sees a fabby new challenge over at CRAFTS &ME & this week the lovely Angela has chosen the theme which is...................WINTER - snow/snowflakes

I decided to use a stamp that is not actually a crimbo image but I think she suits all types of cards & of course she has wings & Im a sucker for my angels/fairies....

I love this image she is so beautiful. I decided to break out my distress inks but I have ran out of my usual watercolour paper I use & found this, dont know who its by as it no longer has a cover......wish I knew tho cus its crap!!!!!!!! It really is rubbish & made using the inks really hard & after I had finished I didnt like the end result but didnt have time to redo with copics :0( so excuse colouring..........

Its another simple flat card for crimbo posting..............I tell ya these are killing me if only postage was cheaper!!!!!!!!! 

Ingredients are;

Image is 'Turn To Hesed' by Sara Burrier exclusive only for Crafts & Me, coloured with distress inks & wings covered in stardust stickles

Wooden Snowflake I heat embossed with white & silver powder.

Papers are Websters Pages & edges inked with Vintage Photo & matted onto kraft card & then onto a 6x6 card blank.  Winter sentiment stamp which I recently found in my mess I call a craft room lol. Pine tree branch cut out of white card & edged with a touch of vintage photo.

Pearls, gems, ribbon & ribbon slider all from my stash.

Princess Who Kissed A Frog mmwah - Saturated Canary Challenge

Hello my lovelies how are you all? First of all I would like to say a huge sorry for not getting around blogs at all today & only managed a few yesterday..........my internet is now driving me.........BALD.....yep blooming BALD.......we are having a nightmare. I ordered my lushious new images from Krista & I got them sent & I managed to get on AOL this morn...........yeah, I still havnt downloaded them all it took me an hour to do 2.............hubster ringing tomorrow & unless they do something swift we are cancelling & I will go back to AOL!!!!!!!! Having crappy internet is NOT good with a teenager in the house.......not quite sure what made me bald.............mmmmm was it Jake or was it Talk Talk..........arrggghhhhh.

Right tantrum out the way, dummy is back in my mush....... Cus I've had no internet such a lot I have had time to finally get on with projects........my diggish one I'm half way thru........yay get me lol.

I have however got Natalie's Trinket Box finally finished this morning.............yep took me til now to take piccy's as I knew I couldnt get on my blog....shall I just show you & stop moaning........

Now I made this for the Saturated Canary Challenge as this one is Anything Goes (yeah including my darn internet), ooohhh dont ya just love it when you can set your imagination free.........lol

This beautiful image is 'Princess Who Kissed A Frog' by the lovely Krista Smith at Saturated Canary.......coloured with copics but she was coloured a few days ago & I forgot to write them down........sorrrryyyyyy.

I fussy cut her out & cut off her frog.........he hasnt croaked it honest.......just ermmmm.....fell into the trash!

I then glued her onto a Marianne cut out die thingy.....(technical term)

Paper is 12x12 'Strawberry Plaid' by Magnolia........its gorgeous, the cream flower & the Gem thingy-ma-jigs(technical term again)on the front are also from Magnolia.

The other flowers are from Crafty Emma's  

The wee ickle gems & lace is from my stash. The box I've had for over a year, yes I have loads of ultrables & it takes me forever to get them done........my brain is over-loaded I'm tellin ya..............
