Crafts & Me DT Card............Blue's/Blue's & Greens

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Lurrrrvvvvly & sunny here by the sea this morning at least I have my washing out this morning....
Well today is the new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this week its the Rockin' Rubbah Girlz to challenge you & our lovely Angela has chosen the theme which isssssssssss.....
BLUE'S/BLUE'S & GREENS
Yep you know I love blue's so this was easy peezy for me lol............
Now I know I'm on the Rockin' Rubbah's I dropped a clanger & used a digi image, my bad!!

My excuse is I already has this beauty coloured up & she was perfect for this challenge as she was in the right colours..........lol

This one is to try show you the sparkle & bling lol. I added glossy accents to the moon & then covered it with glass glitter & then went around the edge with Picket Fence stickles. I also added stickles to the blue rose. The crochet flower I made.........I was trying different styles last week with my crochet.

The white corner was a gold metal corner but I splodged some white acrylic on it as its really rare I use gold & I've had these forever....... The sentiment is again a Whimsy ticket stamp & cut out using the ticket die.

The jute, fabric, buttons & gems are from my stash which I've had forever & long time lol.

The image is 'Violet' by the fabulous Hannah Lynn, yep my fave artist as you know & of course she is exclusive to Crafts & Me Store.

The papers are a mix of Prima & Websters Pages, they have had their edges duffed & inked & then splodged with a bit of white acrylic..........these are tough papers so they can handle the beating they got from me........its a tough job but someone's gotta do it lol.

Gorjuss Girls...........

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Time has seemed to run away from me today, some-one really is stealing my hours!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Megan had her baby scan today to find out if babba is a boy or a girl...........a pink one or a blue one...

Welllllllllll would you like to know what she is having?????????????

Yeah so would we lol.........baby kept his legs shut tight so they couldnt see what it was lol. I never knew over mine what I was having, well I didnt want know & over the last one I had the same prob Jake kept his legs shut lol......... So its the old fashioned way whhich if I'm honest I quite like, it adds to the excitement dont you think?

Anyway I'm finally here with a card for The Sugarbowl challenge which the lovely Maria has designed a fab sketch for, I love sketches but rarely use them......silly really arn't I......ok dont answer that!! lol

Arn't these GORJUSS.....yeah yeah corny I know he hee. These are of course Sugar Nellie's gorjuss girls which is an earlier range of stamps, I masked them both together a bit ago & then today finally coloured them. The one standing up is 'Just A Girl' which I got from Funky Kits. The on 'Sitting' down I also got from Funky Kits but I cant seem to find it anymore but they have been locked away in my stash for a long time.

Sentiment is from the fabulous Whimsy postage stamp range & cut out using the postage die.....I love these sentiments!!!!!!! They are from Bunny Zoe's.

Card is made using A4 card & a large die throught the Grand Calibur. Kraft card is from my stash & the bottom paper is from a Whiff Of Joy pad & the top one is from a Bunny Bo pad. Faux stitching all around the edge with my Martha Stewart multi pokey tool thingy & a silver gel pen.....lol

Flowers & card candy are from Crafty Emma's Store.

Well thats it I better get going I have DT work to do then will be doing lots of blog-hopping to catch up with you all.

A quickie card & a new family member.......come see

Hello all my lovely jubbly peeps. Havnt really done any crafting this weekend except a quick card last for my son today Megan wanted to give him a card to mark their anniversary of when they met...Awwww. So I scoured & found some fabbylicious images.............I will show you that in a mo.

Yesterday afternoon some friends came for a few hours which was fantastic. We have been friends for about 14 years only we dont see them as much now cus they had to move further away due to work commitments. We had such a laugh that I wished I had gone the shop first for some Tenna Lady he heeee.

Anyway I will show you the quickie card I made. My son's nickname is 'Cookie Monster' which will explain the card..............

This is 'Fluffy' aka ?Cookie Monster lol......available from Pollycraft of course I had to colour him blue lol. Actually I've never coloured a fluffy monster before.......but as they say you can only get better lol.

You dont want to know how many more images I brought from there yesterday lol.

Lush paper is Echo Park. The ribbon is just plain white grosgrain which I coloured with a promarker, yeah borrowed it off hubster cus didnt want to waste the ink in my copic lol. The bunting & tag is from my Whimsy die which I got from Bunny Zoe's & the tag stamp is the same & I wrote 'You & Me' on.

The stitching I did by hand with Anchor cross-stitch thread.......bout time I used it its been neglected for sooooo long lol. The 2 glass pebbles are decoration on my shelf in the living room & I pinched 2 to enter the recycle challenge at Pollycraft again lol. 6x6 scalloped card is from Crafty Emma's which is also where you can get the Echo Park paper.

Now I did mean to post this this afternoon but we went to Sunderland to collect the new member of our family. Now these are my favourite EVER animal, I used to have one years ago but sadly she died.....darn that old age!!!!

Meet 'Bailey'

He is a red & white Boxer & is 15 weeks old..............isnt he just gorgeous. Let me tell you for those that dont know no matter what dog breeder you speak to if you ask what is the best dog to have with children they will all say 'Boxer' cus they really are fantastic, Natalie loves these dogs & I really miss the one we had so hubster brought me this little fella today.............

Well he is not really little lol............ He loves the camera & decided after a few shots he would like to show off lol..............

That coat is just so shiny & so soft I just want to stroke him all the time lol.

Well this is the newest member of our family & now I'm off to bed as I've got to be up early to take Ben to work cus he needs a new brake switch for his car, the brakes work but he's not getting a brake light on so better not risk getting pulled & getting a fine & 3 points on his licence.

CES Challenges DT Card..............

Good morning everyone how are you all?

Well its a new challenge over at CES Challenges this week & the lovely Julie has set the theme.

MIX & MATCH

We want to see papers from 2 different manufacturers on your creations.........mix & match.....

I have mixed Fancy Pants 'Its The Little Things' which is the bottom layer & Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' which let me tell you these 2 pads go gorgeously together & I will be mixing these some more.....lol...

I matted it all on kraft card & edged it with Vintage Photo distress ink.

I used an MS punch for the edge of the top 2 layers of kraft card. The ticket sentiment is from my Whimsy stamps & cut it out using the Whimsy ticket die all of which I got from Bunny Zoe's. I also added a Tim Holtz paper clip to it.

The flower I made with lace & attached a brass button to the centre after stitching the flower to create the ripples, if you know what I mean lol..........both of these are from my stash.

Tim Holtz charm & I attached it using some jump rings from my jewellery making stash & then finished it off with another brass button to match the flower in the opposite corner..........

The gorgeous image is 'Deevonne' by Hannah Lynn & she is a digi image exclusive to Crafts & Me. I coloured her a when I came out of hospital the last time but have only just finally put her on a card.

Sorry I cant remember the colours I used.

The 6x6 scalloped card base & the papers & card candy are all from Crafty Emma's Store.

Sweet Pea Stampers DT Card.............Blue Crush

Good morning my lovelies I'm a tad late this morn cus I've been the hospital for my pre-assessment for my operation next month. I have other problems going on in my stomach which include bowel problems & without going into detail my op should be key-hole but cus of these other probs it may make it difficult so it may end up in opening me up.....yuk!!! Anyway as long as they get rid of the some of the pain they can do what they want to be honest lol.

Anyway onto the job in my ickle hand.......Sweet Pea Stampers challenge, yes we are WEEKLY!!

This week our theme is........BLUE CRUSH...... yep its just gotta be blue........

I loved this challenge cus I'm really loving blue on cards at the mo & I got to ink another un-inked Sweet Pea stamp.........yayyyyaaayyyyy lol.

I got my large dies out & created a shaped card through my Grand Caliber.....should really use this more!!

The paper I used is Prima 'Madeline' A4 size which I got from Bunny Zoe's, I went back & got the 6x6 pad as well lol.

Yes Bunny Zoe's has an Easel Challenge on so as its my fave style of card.........taaaa daaaaaa lol.

The middle 3 flowers are from Crafty Emma's Store & the smaller ones are from my stash.

This is the bottom & the inside has also being decorated. The sentiment is from LOTV & I cut it out using a Magnolia tag die. All paper has been edged with white acrylic & the sentiment has as well.  

The image is 'Arden' by Nikki Burnette which you can get from Sweet Pea Stamps or Crafts & Me if you are in the UK. The crystal angel I made myself, its been ages since I've made some of these.

She is of course coloured with copics & I added glamour dust to her wings & parts of her clothes.

I followed a sketch for the bottom & the top. Across the middle I punched the edge of blue card using a MS punch & then lay tulle over it & then a strip of lace as well. I made 2 bows from the tulle, 1 for the angel to hang from & the other to attach to the sentiment. The blue crystal brads in the centre are from Crafts & Me. Gems are from my stash.

Chillingham Castle...........

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? I've not got a card for you today but I thought I would share some piccy's with you. A few days ago we went out for the day to Chillingham Castle in Northumberland UK, we are really lucky up here as we do have quite a few beautiful castles.

This is the front of the castle in the pic is Ben with his arms around Megan & me....I had been twirling Craig's walking stick around & dropped it.........oops lol... Yes I'm silly even outdoors lol.

A better pic of the front, this is the baby of the family, my youngest JakeBob aka Jake.....we tend to call him JakeBob a lot as when he was younger he loved SpongeBob so he became JakeBob lol...... 

Yep thats me asking for directions.......very ignorant tho, he just ignored me.....how rude!!!

I kinda giggled when I saw this pic as my pony tail looks like the horses tail he hee.....

Yes we found the torture room!! This is Ben, my eldest next to the stretching rack.....this is not a nice room you can just see the edge of a chair next to Ben.....well you dont want to park your bum on that as it is a seat of nails......not nice!!!

This is the dining room...... Megan has nice bump now.....we find out the sex next week....will bubs be an Arjay or a Payton-lea (pronounced Lee).

These horses are dangerous dont be fooled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In that little door way there was a dolls house & a few prams & dolls....toys. Well I had been in to have a lookskie & on my way out the boys were telling me about the large picture frame around the doorway so I turned to look. However when I turned back I hadnt realised I had stepped back so when I turned around I smashed my head hard into the horses head............OUCH!!!! It was so funny tho Megan nearly wet herself......actually so did I lol.

HAIL KING BEN!!!!!!

LOL only in his dreams lol.........yes I'm afraid we are all silly, nearly all the time as well, we are always laughing but its better to laugh than to cry......

This is the view from the roof onto part of the garden.

All of us sitting by the water feature thingy in part of the garden. Craig is taking the piccy, Natalie was at respite that day......we cant go looking at castles as they were not built back then wheelchair friendly.

Craig saw these outside so had to try them for size lol.........the dafty tho hit his head first with the antler & actually cut his head, it bled a canny bit!!

Yes I got the camera bag while Craig got the camera lol...........psst come here.............no come closer I have a secret to share........are you ready???

DO NOT go to this castle in high heeled knee high boots.....its not built with them in mind my blooming feet were killing at this point & we hadnt walked all round the gardens yet lol. Still managed to smile tho lol.

My boys & Megan at the back of the castle.........hard believe Jake is only 15, he is the tallest of all of us. Think he was maybe put on the stretching rack when he was younger lol.

My baby on the cannon....not sure if he's sitting on it or waiting to be fired from it lol.

Well if you are still after ALLLLLL these piccies then get yourself a cuppa & some choccy bickies cus you deserve them lol. We had a good day & we had a laugh altho it should come with health warning lol.

List of warnings........

Watch out for the horses.......or watch your head lol.

Watch out for putting on antlers.

Watch out for low door ways when coming from dungeon......I forgot & hit my head......AGAIN.

Watch out for low hedges outside.....yes I fell in one........pmsl........we certainly had a laugh or 2 lol.

We had a McDonalds on the way home tho cus we were starving by the time we got around this place..........its MAHOOSIVE!!!
