Happy Birthday Dear Grandson and Noor Design UK DT Cards

Hello everyone, I'm here today to show you 2 creations I've made for the Noor Design UK Blog. One of them is for my grandson....3 years ago today I delivered & kept alive a tiny little baby who decided to come into the world very early....29 weeks & to top it off it was 2 am & in the front seat of my sons car on my drive-way....... I still feel very proud of this little boy who fought against everything to be here today celebrating his 3rd birthday.

Anyway I will show you this one I made first with the cutest Whimsy stamp I've ever seen......seriously I totally adore these elephants & hope they bring more out!!
The shape is from the Dutch Doobadoo Card Art A4 Stand Up, isn't it a fabulous shape!! The papers are the gorgeous Lemoncraft 'Forget Me KNot' 12x12 papers........oh I sooooo love the gorgeous blues in this set.......I will be buying more of these.......LOTS more ;-)

See how totally cute & adorable is this image!! Its called 'Elephant With Butterflies' by Whimsy & I coloured it with distress ink markers & refills. UNder the image is 2 Gilded Doily dies.
Have you noticed the stitching........yep I lost the foot on my sewing machine & my fabby hubby found it.........so I have my foot back ;-)

Added gorgeous pearls down the side.
I've added the sentiment from Little Darlings, the die-cut is Polaroid Camera Die & I cut it out twice to make it thicker & the inside I used co-ordinating paper with the sentiment on. I added the cut out hearts to the card rather than wasting them.
The butterflies I cut from the co-ordinating paper & covered them with crackle accents & added fine pearl string to the centre.
This is the card for my grandson & I used the fabulous new Pion Papers 'Mr Tom's Treasures'......these are awesome for men, for women & for little boys........I love them & want more already & I havnt even used them all lol.
I've also matted onto the Pion Design Palette.........perfect for matting etc.

I made a shaker card & added German Glass glitter & micro beads inside. I wrapped string around the edge of the outside. The fabulous image is form La La Land Crafts & I've cropped the image & coloured with distress markers & refills, isn't he awesome!!
The letters to spell my grandsons name I cut from one of the Pion Sheets. I've used these papers for the Fathers Day cards but cant show you yet........he may peek ;-)

Again adding senitments from co-ordinating sheets & the place to write a message on is from the same collection. Used the Design Pallette for the wave shape at the bottom......this was cut by hand but I used the Marianne Wave die to draw the shape....see dies can be used for more than cutting ;-)
Added a Lighthouse with gesso on.

Here's the last photo of the 2 creations. I lurve those tassels made with the Marianne die, its one of my favourite dies. Of course all the flowers are from Noor Design UK.

I've just realised I've not used one bit of lace on either of these cards.....wow gotta be something wrong there ;-)

Hope you liked my creations today. Tracy has added new products to her store. Also all the doo-Hickey club die sets have sold out, however there are a few of Volume 10 left with the early bonus die in them. Let me tell you I'm currently making something with that set, its awesome & I especially love the bonus die you get. If you want one get one quick right here.

Thanks you for stopping by, take care & enjoy your day.
I'm off to spend the day with my family celebrating Arjays birthday, Happy Birthday to my awesome little man.....love yout o bits my little hero xxx
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Two gorgeous little boys cards and two very different styles, with so many gorgeous details to admire.
I love the softness and fancy fold base shape of the first one and all the gorgeous layers and textures of the second one :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx

I remember 3 years ago, your blog post just after you delivered Arjay. I think you were still in shock! But you were such a steel magnolia Vicky! A tower of strength, when the world around you was out of control. Such an extraordinary set of circumstances and you handled it so well, you were the calm in the storm. That lil' man will forever have a special bond with you after that miraculous event. Precious wee poppet, I can't believe he's now 3!! Both those creations are fabulous, perfect for your wee grandson. Such love and care has been poured into them, and I didn't miss the lace at all! LOL. Perfect for Arjay that way. Hugs, Wends x
