Midweek Magnolia Challenges & A Peekskie To........

Hello my lovelies & oh what a beautiful morning it is here by the sea...........blue skies & wait for it.....yes SUNSHINE woo hoo ;0)
Hope you all had a lovely Easter, I unfortunately came down with a viral infection on sunday so spent the time in bed either sleeping or being sick urgh. I did manage spend an hour with my family which I was gutted about, as it was only an hour but Payton lurved Easter bless her & her smiles & giggles c.
an cheer anyone up ;0)

Anyhoos onto the new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's this week which is.........
HOW CHARMING
.......yep all you gotta do is add a charm, simples ;0)
Now I have made a hanging............will explain where for later in the post......
I have finally inked up my 'Tailor Tilda' from the Turning Leaves Collection that I had off my secret santa, thanks sweetie mmwah. She was coloured with Copics, colours used are.........
E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R22, R20 - Skin
E29, E27, E23, E21 - Hair
R39, R37, R35 & White gel pen for polka dots - Bow & Fabric
C5, C3, C1, C00 - Top
Y28, Y26, Y21 & W5 for shading - Sewing Machine
E53, E51, E50 - Desk & background

I have used gorgeous papers from one of the new Prima pads, OMG this one is my fave & I have to get more!!! As you can see I've also used one of the gorgeous new MF Hangers Teresa has recently got in, lurve these!!

I've used a few dies on this lol, list will be at the bottom. I've also used 2 charms from my stash, the sewing machine I think was from Ebay ages ago. Ive used a 'Love Hanger' with MB 'Dress' die & I've added 'Tulle Trim' to act like a dress ;0)

I've used MB 'Thread Spool' die & wrapped Bakers Twine around them. I made a tag from fabric in my stash, which is also where the buttons, ribbon & lace is from. Stickers to make 'Create' which I've had for soooooooooooo long!!!

Ok so now for an explanation as to why we are so busy at the mo. Well as you know I gave up my hobbit in the garden to breed cats, unfortunately however that cant happen cus of health reason........which I wont get into at the mo, as tests are still on-going. Anyway I've been crafting in the living area's in our home.
That is a HUGE no no, I hate the mess, seriously I spend more time cleaning & tidying then I do crafting, I miss having a room of my own where I can shut the door & no-one has to see the mess.
Hubby & no other member of the family mind..........its just me, it gets on my nerves, so much so I nearly gave up crafting..............
However hubster was not pleased with that one so he is re-doing the 'Hobbit' for me to go back into, yayyyyy, a craft room of my own again lol. When he started ripping everything out the plan wasn't to do the floor, however the cowl had been leaking in on the wood burner & soaked all the floor. So the floor came up yesterday & he has to re-do that then re-lay flooring. This is what it looks like at present, well what half the room looks like lol. This is where the hanger is made for, my new craft room ;0)
I will be selling my big cupboard once I'm back in there but I'm keeping the new desk & drawers. The worst thing was I only ever emptied half of my craft room..........so everything is now dumped in the conservatory, there is mess everywhere lol. Also I decide while hubster is doing that outside I should start decorating inside..........not the cleverest of idea's I've had lol.

Ingredients of hanger (for my new craft room)

Magnolia 'Tailor Tilda'
Prima 'Lyric' papers - MCH
Tulle Trim - LLC
Love Hanger - LLC
Flowers - WOC
MB 'Princess Dress' die - MCH
MB 'Thread Spools' die - MCH
MB 'Simple Needle & Thread' die - MCH
Melissa Frances 'Hanger' - MCH

Thank you sooooooooo much for stopping by I will be back at 5pm uk time with some candy ;0) Scheduled already.

So tatty bye for now my lovelies, see yas soonies ;0) xxxxxxxxx

Hi Vicky! I've been wondering how your cat breeding is going and now I know! Goodness gracious, have you developed an allergy to the cats?????
So happy you will be getting a craft space again....crafting in the living room is difficult at best.

Oh sweetie your life has been in turmoil lately hasn't it. Sorry about you being poorly and also not being able to continue with the cat breeding. The only good thing to come out of it is having your craft home back.

Your card is adorable and full of goodies as usual sweetie. Glad you at least managed an hour with the family over Easter.

What a long post Vicky, so sorry you were miserable over Easter. Can imagine that you regret not being able to fullfill the "breeding-dream" but am so happy for you that you will have a craftroom again soon. I'm just the same.....make an awfull mess and don't want to see it so the living room is a huge no no here too. After every creation I tidy up but as soon as I start a new project.....same mess whahahaaaa!!
Your hanger is soo adorable, will look stunning once hubby (lucky his arm is okay again!!)is done with your piece of heaven!!

Oh my word, Vicky, this is just stunning! Your colouring of that sweet Tilda is just amazing and I love all your pretty details...just fabulous!
Don't envy you all the upheaval in rebuilding your crafty space, but I'm sure it will be worth it when it's finished - it's such a blessing to have a room to craft in and be able to shut the door...and mess away! Mine is supposed to be a multi function room, but crafting sort of took over! ;) Hugs, Lisa x
