Tilda with Peony

Good evening my lovelies, how are you all doing in this atrocious weather? Its absolutely awful up here & freezing with it!!
Today I was supposed to put the tree up but my days dont always go to plan, we have a black van with seats in the back & a ramp for my daughter & her wheelchair, anyway the windscreen wipers broke down today on it & wouldnt work so we had to get the RAC out to fix that luckily by 3 0'clock they were fixed without it having to be towed to Renault. We then had to rush through to Whitley Bay, not much of the rushing tho cus of the bad weather lol. We brought our eldest Ben a new car about 6 weeks ago, well a 2nd hand VW Bora we paid extra at the garage cus he added on a warranty...anyway as luck as it 2 weeks ago we had to go rescue him as his gearbox went. Now the warranty covered the gearbox so that was not a prob but it also then needed a new clutch & apparently the Bora's have a dual-mass flywheel which to preserve the life of the new gearbox should be replaced at the same time. Unfortunately this darn flywheel is the most expensive part of the car, my son is only an apprentice plumber so his wage is a bit crap at the mo to say the least. Then we find out we have to pay the full bill then the warranty pay us a week later, so today has been a very expensive day costing us over a grand, but at least we get half of it back in a weeks time. The thing is I've got go through all this again when my youngest reaches this age aaarrrrggggghhhh....kids are way too expensive they should come with a warning.....lol.
Anyway I've had a little sort out tonight & found a coloured image I had done months ago when I 1st started practising with Prisma's, so I followed the fab sketch on 'Just Magnolia' & here it is...
I so enjoyed making this card it made me feel all summery.....shame about the weather hitting my conservatory window brrrrr... This is Tilda with Peony. I'm gonna put the links on at the end & materials used & just whack the pics on cus there is a few. ...

Its actually a gatefold card this is the inside which I also decorated unfortunately I only took 1 pic & didnt realise it was poop...so sorry for the poop piccy lol!!

Good morning Vicky, that is one lovely card you made there. Love the inside too in spite of the 'poop' pic LOL!! I had a terrible evening yesterday; my mother in law phoned early in the day to say she fell during the night and was waiting for the docter cause she couldn't move her arm. I asked how bad it was with pain and did it look bruised but she said it was alright, there was no bruising, she just couldn't use it well. So with all the snow here I didn't go over. Later that day her docter phoned me (5 o'clock in the afternoon grrrr) to tell me she probably broke her arm and I had to take her to the hospital. When I arrived I got the scare of my life, the arm was litterally black from the shoulder down to her elbow!! I felt terrible that I hadn't gone over earlier but she made it sound like nothing at all!! Anyway, she's still in the hospital now with her arm in a sling. The bones are separated completely and turned as well so she has to let the arm hang and let gravity do its work. They hope the bones will set themselves can you believe that?? But no matter what happens, she can't go home, because she can't fend for herself right now. We haven't told her that yet.... I do feel soooo guilty for not going over earlier, had I seen the arm I would have taken her into hospital straight away! Sorry for blabbing, I just needed to tell someone. Hugs, Frea

Blimey Vicky what rotten luck for your son, tell you what your son sounds as lucky as me, bless him. I do agree that kids are expensive, my son just doesn't know how lucky he is I keep telling him to go rent his own place and see how much everything would cost him...but no he prefers to stay here at home...lol. As for your card my love, it is absolutely dazzling, the card fold the colours, design embellishments and of course Tilda it thrills me to see this beauty.
