Magazine Card

Hello there everyone how are you all? Hope you are all well.

Well I will be in Devon now....soon be cooking a full english breakfast (its the law when on holiday to cook one every morning lol) but before I went I did have time to do 1 or 2 posts lol.

This is a card that I forgot to show you so thought I would do a quick post to show you it.

I was asked to do a card for Papernest Dolls for a magazine, there were quite a few gorgeous cards going in this magazine by fabulously talented crafters.

Here is my card which I kept foofiness to a minimum.

She is a rubber stamp called 'Bird Nest'.......I'm sure she is called that lol, my brain is all mixed up with flour after a heap of baking I did before my hols....cheesecakes, quiche's, biscuits & cakes lol.

I coloured her with copics. Papers are from my stash & I cannot remember what pad they are from.....they were machine sewn as always.

The small tag I think is CC Design's die. The border above the lace is a MS punch.

The sentiment is Stamping Bella.....again I think. It was done a while ago & I cant remember everything I used now lol.

I do know though that all the flowers are WOC lol.

I was extremely chuffed as this card make the cover..............yayyyy me, so happy lol. Though I have to say hubby was even happier, he rushed out again to buy the magazine & then wanted frame it.........I drew the line there dont worry lol. Its in my cupboard in my craft studio lol.

Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia midway post

Hello everyone how are you all?

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I am having a lovely one as it was my birthday Saturday & I had lovely pressies, crafty stuff & the best part lots of cuddle & hugs & I Love You's from my family & we spent the day together. I also had another birthday present later in the day which was the icing on the cake so to speak, yes even after I had birthday cake lol....but I will tell you about that another day ;-)

Ok so today I'm here to remind you of the challenge over at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia & the challenge is...........ANYTHING GOES!!

 The other week I got my new stamps & I coloured 2 up straight away to make a notebook for my granddaughter.

Payton loves pink, purple, glitter, tulle (ballerina's skirt), fairies & UNICORNS....yep you know what is coming dont you lol

I brought a cheap plain notebook from a shop & decorated it. I painted it with white gesso first & then started the fun part.

This is the pad I brought, its quite a thick pad so it will last her a bit........you know 5 year olds they can write 4 words on a piece of paper then start on a new piece lol.

All dies on the top of the pad except the circle & scalloped circle are Magnolia, some are from Doohickey Volume 9. However the die-cut going across the top of the pad is called 'Celebration Lace', I've had this die a while but you can get here if you would like it.

In the pocket I made a tag with a CC Designs die  & stamped just the unicorn on it & coloured it with distress ink refills & then covered it with Wink Of Stella........unfortunately it dulled it down a bit which is a shame as it looked so bright & colourful. However Payton still liked it & the tag can be used as a book mark for her reading book. I cut & glued 2 tags together to make it nice & firm.

Both Magnolia stamps are from the I Believe In Unicorns collection, I stamped together 'Unicorn Tilda' & 'Unicorn With Text' with my Tim Holtz stamping platform.........OMW that thing is fantastic & so much better than my other one.

I cannot remember which watercolour paper I used, it was either Daler Rowney or Langton. I coloured them with distress ink refills & added stardust stickles to the unicorns hoofs, horn & hair & to Tilda's hair ribbons, hearts & buttons.

I also added pearl dots with a pearl pen. I cut them out using LLLC Stitched circle die & then backed it onto circle & scalloped circle cut out with spellbinder dies.

Papers used are from one of my favourite collections, Maja Design Vintage Summer & I used a mixture of 12x12 & 6x6 paper. All was distressed a little & machine sewn, I added lace form my stash & some pink Melissa Frances Tulle which I've had for soooo long. I also added a string of ivory pearls along the top & the top of the tulle.

I added cheese clothe & corrugated cardboard painted with white gesso under the image & the letters spelling out the name are from Pion Design.

I added lots of lace & waxed string the binder rings at the top of the pad & added 2 charms, the one on the top of the pad says 'Believe' & I added a charm to the tag of a fairy. So this pad has all of Payton's favourites & she loved I'm pleased to tell you.

Hi peeps how are you all? Hope you are all having a fabby weekend, we are loving all this warm weather....though living right next to the North Sea does bring a nice cool breeze, a very welcomed breeze I have to say lol.

I've been MIA just recently but there has been so much going on, Natalie has been unwell & I've had Pancreatitus twice in just over a month as well as a few other things going on & redesigning my craft room/studio. Ok less of my babble & lets get to crafty business.

Well its time for a new challenge over at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia & this month its everyone's favourite........

ANYTHING GOES

Now this card has been made about a month, I've not done any crafting for weeks so thank goodness I had this as a back-up phewwwww.

Now I love love LOVE Boho, I love the style & most things Boho & I lurve the whole Magnolia Boho collection (even though I have a few un-inked still) & there were a couple I was still missing. So I saw Sir Stamp A Lot had some on special order & after getting excited I then calmed myself down, composed myself & ordered a few.....Yeah I know I'm easily pleased lol.

So this pretty lady is 'Romantic Boho Tilda' & she was coloured with distress ink refills, cant remember what paper she is stamped onto though :-(

I cut this sentiment off some ribbon type thingy...... Treasured Moments. Underneath is a Film Strip I cut from a Magnoia die that I got from Swedish House Crafts a month or 2 ago, the die is called 'Insta Stripes'. The clip is a Tim Holtz one from my stash.

The paper is Pion Theodore & Bella 'Rise & Shine' & as always I have machine stitched it. The Butterflies are also Pion.

I aded more of the film strip at the bottom with some WOC flowers. Doily is from my stash.

I added corrufated card under the image painted with Gesso & in between I added a small Magnolia Doily die & a tag made with a Magnolia die & stamped a verse onto it from Stempelglede.

The metal 'Love' heart was from LLC ........I love these things.

Leaves are also Magnolia dies from Paris Nights. Seam binding is from Noor Design UK.

The frame around the image I made with a die from CC Designs.

Ok I think I've babbled on quite a bit now so I'm gonna go & spend the afternoon with my family & as its nice have a BBQ, I lurve weekends ;-)

Its hard to craft this time of year dont you think, when its nice you just want to be outside spending time with loved ones, family, friends enjoying life. Whatever you are doing though I hope you are having fun.

For You Happy Birthday & DT Call

Hellooooo there all you lovely people around the world, how are you? Hope you are having a fabberooney weekend.

I'm here today with a card I made as soon as I got the new Sofiero papers by Maja Design.........oh I'm soooooooo unbelieveably happy these are not limited edition anymore & they also come in 6x6 & images.....wow how much more excitement can this girl take....ok get a grip Vicky ;-)

When the papers arrived after much MUCH stroking & smelling....yes smelling come on girls we all have to have a smell of our papers..........especially good quality ones....oh my.....

Anyhoo I had this image in my coloured up box (with many more lol) thatwent perfectly & I still hadnt used a certain die since I brought it........problem rectfied ;-)

Pretty pastel shabby chic card with Maja & Maggie today........AKA 'In My Element' thats what cards like this mean ;-)

Do you see the flowers down the bottom, well the leaf die is also a new die........ok not new I brought it last year from Noor Design UK & then totally forgot about it.....I found it in a tub with some other new dies still unopened......ooops. 

As always I've decorated inside to compliment the front, I thought I would show you properly as I've covered up a LOT so you cant see lol. The only difference is instead of using half pearls on the doily like I did at the front, I've used a pearl pen....this way the pearl dots dont protrude am much as what half pearls would.

The die is a Magnolia die & the doily is form my stash.

Paper is the Sofiero 6x6 pad which you can get from Noor Design UK along with ALL the 12x12 collection & the co-ordinating Monochromes which go so so beautifully with these papers.....they are double sided but the other side is a slightly different colour..........also let me tell you they are sooooo much more beautiful in real life they really are.

I've made 2 bows with seam binding I dyed myself, love how well they blend with the colours on the card especially the pink with the rose.....they were not dyed for these papers I dyed them a while ago but luckily they go perfectly lol.

Lace is from my stash & all flowers are WOC from Noor Design UK.

The image is called Magnolia & is called 'Tilda Working In The Garden' & she is from the Spring Fever 2016 collection.

She was stamped onto Fabriano & coloured with distress ink refills & maybe markers but cant remember. Dont remember what colours I used as she was coloured up a while ago.

I cut her out with CC Design Layering Tags die & then added her onto corrugated card painted with gesso.

The little tools, plant pot etc came with the Seed Packet die, as did the little plaque.....its one of those plant labels & I thought it would be perfect for adding a sentiment to.

The wording was cut from a Pion Design sheet, I also inked all around the edge.

I used Maja Design Monochrome 'White/Sand' for the plant &label stake & garden tools & added inking with pumice stone.

So the other new die I had & had still not opened til making this card was the Marianne 'Seed Pocket & Garden Tools' die.........this is fabulous, I love it!! The pocket you can use with a side opening or a top opening, depending what you want use it for. I also want it to use on mini albums ;-)

For the pocket I used Sofiero 'The Magnificient Flower Street' & then cut an image from the 6x6 pad to go on the top, slightly distressing it beforehand. I then used Maja Design Monochrome 'Blush/Rouge' to cut the inside ticket/tag & made a tab to it for making it easier to pull out & I think it adds a nice look to it. The tab part I used Little Darlings Fancy Rectangle & Layers die.....this has to be one of my most favourite dies.I cut it out twice & glued together.

The sentiment is from Stempelglede stamp, there is also another on the back onf the tag saying Made With Love from the same stamp set.

Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone I'm back again with another DT card this time for Deep Ocean challenges. Yep another fortnight has rolled on by & its time for a new challenge & this fortnight the challenge is......

Dots and/or Stripes

.......you can use either or both of these on your creations.

My papers are the gorgeous new updated version of Lemoncraft 'Heart OfRoses' now the first pad was gorgeous but oh oy this updated version really is sooooo pretty & you get the bonus sheet of the inside cover....when you put them side by side &look at them you really see the difference......so so pretty!!

I added 2 different laces from my stash, a charm & a double bow with seam binding from Noor Design UK & of course some bling ;-)

Here is a better view of the papers, so pretty & soft, perfecft for shabby chic cards.

I've done the inside to compliment the front as always but only added 1 lace.

The stars are dies, the larger one from Magnolia Doohicket set volume 12 & the smaller is from another die but cant remember the brand.

The centre shape was cut from CC Designs Shapers 1.

The stamp is from the latest Magnolia Emoji collection & this one is called 'You Are A Star Tilda' & I think I enjoyed colouring this one the most.....I absolutely love this one, ok this one & another one but I havnt blogged that card yet ;-)

I stamped her onto Fabriano watercolour paper & coloured her with distress ink refills.

I added stardust stickles to all the stars.....stars have gotta sparkle havnt they ;-)

I also added pearl dots around the image & then cut her out using the same CC Design die & layering up a frame, the spotty paper is actually from the first Heart Of Roses pad.

I recently got a new die & the only place I could seem to find it in stock was on Amazon & luckily I have Prime so got it on Sunday. Its a Penny Black die......I lurve this die, its fabulous & may get used a lot for all sorts of cards.......

The sentement is an old Whiff Of Joy stamp set & I cut it out using a Little Darlings die.

The star die you see going across is from a Magnolia Doohickey sey volume 9, I also added another one under the bark star.

Now I made the base of this card then went see what new challenge was over at Midweek lol so this is going off their Bingo Board.....well nearly I forgot all about chipboard & didnt do shaped as I had already made the base..........but otherwise its the full board lol.

Flowers are all WOC from Noor Design UK. I also added a pin....I neglect those, I always seem to forget about them.

The large pearls were ivory but I coloured them with a copic.

AAHHHH Tissue.....Bless you with a surprise

Hello everyone super quick post from me tonight before I spend quality time with hubster.

I thought I would quickly pop on share my creation I made for Stamping Bella Bellarific Friday which this week is Free Form.

I coloured this super cute image up weeks ago & I coloured him to go with paper that hubby got me for crimbo......yes I actually matched papers first before colouring......I know its rare!!

Anyhoo's this special poorly fella deserved something a bit special.......

How cute is this bear..........OMGoodness I love these stuffies I really do, I do have another one coloured but thats with copics but you will have to wait for that one ;-)

I stamped this onto Fabriano watercolour paper & coloured with distress ink refills.

Wait though there is a surprise..........

Yes its an easel card with tissues.....this holds a travel size pack of tissues & its open ended so it can be refilled. Its perfect for anyone feeling poorly with the dreaded flu dont you think.

I really enjoyed making this!!

I have even devised somewhere to write a personal message. I made a pocket at the back to put a tag in to write on.

The tag is a LLLC die

This is it folded down, it still folds down nicely to be boxed. 

The stamp is Stamping Bella 'Stuffy Stuffie' & it also comes with the sentiment I have added here. I have cut out the sentiment using a die from CC Designs Make A Card 16 Summer die set.

Papers are Lemoncraft Gossamer Blue & Ive inked the edges & machine stitched all around each layer as always.

Flowers & Lace are from my stash. The Joycraft die-cut the image is on is from Noor Design UK. The leaves are LLLC dies. The bulldog clip is from my stash.

BIG Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone how are you all? Hoping you are having a fabberooney weekend & hope the weather is some what decent-ish lol. In all honesty this week except one day weve been pretty blessed, its been mild & a couple of days even sunshine,,,,,today is sunshine though there are grey clouds looming. 

Anyhoo's enough about the weather how about I show you a card I made weeks ago with a new CC Designs stamp hubster got me.

The papers are My Minds Eye Lost & Found Blush & I mahcine sewn all the edges.

The flags at the side were made using Little Darlings Stitched Flags dies from Noor Design UK. The heart button I made using card & scrap paper with Little Darlings Fancy Square's & Little Things dies. I also tied pink waxed cord in the centre of each button.

The stamp is CC Designs 'Sweet Pixie Birthday Princess' & I coloured her with Copics.

I coloured this lady in........ok I cant remember its that long ago lol.......weeks for sure, maybe a month or nearly lol but I did write the colours down & put them in the cellophane pocket with the image, yay me so here are the colours.....

E13, E11, E21, E00, E000 - Skin

E79, E77, E74, E71, E70 - Hair

C5, C3, C1, C0, R89,R85, R83, R81, RV10 - Outfit & Boots

The frmae behind the image is CC Design Cutter Make A Card 12 Smoochies die. The uber fabulous glasses I've put on her are from Make A Card 16 Summer die set, of course I cut the arms off as the glasses represent folding glasses......of course I need them to look like she is wearing them. Dont they look awesome on her though....I love em!!!

The sentiment is one that came with her.......she comes with a few sentiment stamps so you have a choice.

Valentine, I Love You

Hellllooooo there, yayyyyy its Sunday. I love Sundays as its family day & I've got everyone here for tea. I also love today because this week has been one of those weeks where monday started & has kinda merged with Sunday.........its been hectic & gone fast!!

I have lots of cards on my lappy that I've made & not had time to blog so I'm gonna catch up over the next week or 2 lol.

I will start with hubby's Valentine's card with a new stamp I got from Stamping Bella!!

OMG I love this stamp......

.....I actually got both 'Bee' ones.......it really was love at first sight & I dont like bees, they scare the bee-jesus outta me....sriously I shriek like a girl........oh wait its cus I am. Then again my eldest shrieks like a girl when he sees a bee.......& he's a man lol.

Ok so papers used were an old My Minds Eye Lost & Found 6x6 pad I've had a long time. I of course stitched all around the edges as always but this time with black stitching to match the black on the card.

As always I decorated inside to match the front.

Except the Bee all dies used are CC Designs, I've used 'Layered Tags' & 'Make A Card 12 Smoochies' dies. These dies are awesome & cut beautifully...I lurve good dies & being a Die Fanatic these are GOOOOOOD!!!

Now when I made this card I made it for obviously my hubby but also the stamping bellarifi Friday which was use a die.......yeah I missed that lol but apart from the CC Design dies I also used 1 more...

I have also used the co-ordinating Cut It Out Die to this stamp which is fabulous & I wish I had got the cut out die for the other bee as well but didnt.........silly silly me!!!

Stamp used is called 'Bee Mine' which was coloured with copics & glitter added. This stamp also comes with a sentiment, but didnt use it on this card. Psst I did get carried away with these Bee's & have another 2 cards show you another time using them & the sentiment is on that one, ssshhhh keep it to yourself ;-)

Ok I've babbled long enough now & I have a few things do before family gets here. Hubby is out with my sons.....sorry our sons they are not just mine lol. They have father & son time every weekend & they go out with their RC cars & have boy fun with big boy toys. Which leaves me to potter on while Natalie watches a disney & shakes her rattle lol.

Helloooooo there my lovely friends, how are you all?

Well I'm here with a new stamp today, ok new tamp & dies as my lovely hubby brought me some Stamping Bella stamps &some CC Design dies......yep I'm in love!!

So here is my first card with a Stamping Bella stamp & its also for the Bellarific challenge over here.

The stamp is Tiny Townies Birthday Party & I coloured them with Copics & chopped off their feet to go in thi frame.......this is the bit I took from the inspiration piccy over at Bellarific.. Isn't this image just fabulous!!!

Inisde is decorated & I used dies from CC Design Make A Card Birthday which are awesome!!

Ooooh I forgot to trim off the ends of the lace......better get that done after.

All of the dies used on the front are from CC Design Make A Card Birthday, except the rectangle frmae & that was made using CC Design Dotted Rectangles dies....I cut a few out in kraft & then glued them together to ake a stiffer frame.

Lace is from my stash & the papers are Maja Design Enjoying Outdoors.

The sentiment at the bottom came with the Stamping Bella stamp.

Hair (from left to right) - E59,57,55,53,50 - E79,77,74,71,70 - E29,27,25,23,21 

Dress (from left to right) - RV99,95,93,91 - R89,85,83,81,RV10 - V17,15,12

I used the same colours for hat shoes & balloons........yes I know there are no shoes but that was decided after lol. Also the girl on the right I added another 2 colours to her belt but forgot to write them down :-(

I also added pink shabby fran-tage around the image.
