Live Laugh Love from Swedish House Crafts

Hi everyone I'm here today using one of the new Magnolia stamps from the Sunbeam Collection along with an older Magnolia background stamp from my stash.

I've used a Magnolia Tag die & added words on it from Gummiapan, Live, Laugh.......I've stamped them with Versafine black ink & stamped onto Maja Design Monochrome 'Muted Fuchsia', cut them out & then attached to the tags.

For the 'Love' part of the Gummiapan text stamp I stamped it onto Maja Design Celebration 'The Table Is Set' & cut it out using Gummiapan Stitched Banners Thinner dies. I cut out the 2 lowest sizes & used the same paper just the larger one is the reverse side.

To create the scene I have used 2 Magnolia stamps, Sunbeam Tilda from the latest Sunbeam Collection & Barbed Wire from the Summer Memories collection I think. Suha has the mini version of this background stamp in her store.
I used my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform which makes masking images together a breeze. I then coloured them with distress ink refills.

I also added 2 chipboard wood fences either side of the image. These I painted white with some white paint from my stash. I also added a few small flowers from my stash.
The leaves were all cut with Magnolia Dies.

The main paper used on the card is Maja Design Celebration, I've used 12x12 sheets 'The Table Is Set' & 'To The Party' reverse side. I've also machine stitched all the edges as always & decorated inside to match the front.
I cut out the image using Gummiapan Stitched Rectangles Dies & then attached that to Maja Design Monochrome Muted Fuchsia cut out using Gummiapan Rectangle Postage dies.

Flowers, lace & doily are from my stash.

Thank you so much for stopping by & hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

You Are Invited

Hi everyone doesn't my heading sound delicious mmmmm, sorry for those on diets.....though if it makes you feel better I cannot eat cake at the minute either lol. Ooooh I lurve cake too..
So I made a Lollipop Invite card thingy lol using a fabby new die from Suha.

Look at that scrummy cake die mmmmm and it's pink. My granddaughter is probably gonna steal this off me.......she does with lots of my creations bless her and then sits them all in her bedroom on shelves and her window sill....

Ok anyway the new die is the Gummiapan Story Cake die and it's fab and could be used for so many things....even a wedding cake. I was going to use it with a Tilda but then thought for my first time using it I would give it centre glory on its own.......yep love it that much you will be seeing it again lol. I cut the cake out twice and glued both together to make it thick and then added the white icing bits in white card stock and added stardust stickles to it.

For the middle layer of the card I used Maja Design Monochromess and a punch from my stash to make the edge pretty. The beautiful paper is of course Maja Design Sofiero which you get with the monchromes and at the minute Suha has this beautiful collection on sale.....pop along here to see it and of course buy it before I buy it all.....yes I love it that much lol.

Flowers, lace and corrugated card are from my stash. The leaf is a Magnolia die-cut and the flower type die-cut is from a Magnolia Doo-Hickey Club Kit, Volume 16 I think - but my mind has gone blank lol.

The banner at the bottom is another Magnolia die from a Club Kit. These really are awesome kits and the dies always come in handy, I love how you can mix and match different collections. Olga on the DT does very different things with the dies, she is utterly amazing, it goes to show that a die can be used so many different ways.

Ok last photo which is a little better I think, I've struggled with my pics...insert unhappy face here....
The sentiment is a new Magnolia stamp that came with the Christmas Calender but Suha also has the collection in store. Yhe collection is called "You're Invited", you actually get two stamps with this one. I stamped it then fussy cut it and put it onto a banner cut with a Magnolia die. The circle in the centre was cut out using a Gummiapan die. I love these sets and they are some of my favourite to use.

Thanks for stopping by, take care.

Swedish House Crafts DT Card

Hi everyone how are you all?

I'm here today to share a card I made suitable for a teenager using the fabulous Maja Design Denim & Friends collection........I love love LOVE this collection, its perfect for those hard male cards & just as perfect for the females. What more could we ask for.....well the perfect dies to go with them of course are Gummiapan.
I made the card base from Maja Design Shades Of Denim, Light Blue. These co-ordinated sheets are fabulous & each side is a slightly different shade, I love the quality of Maja Design.

I used Maja Design Denim & Friends 6x6 pad for the card & highlighted the graphic on the paper which says 'YOU'RE A STAR' I underlined it & added stars that were cut out from using the Integrated Stars die by Gummiapan.
I also added a piece of fine corrugated cardboard painted it with white gesso to give the card extra texture.

I cut the wording 'AWSOME' from the bottom of one of the 12x12 sheets & distressed it a little.
I also cut out Happy Birthday using a Gummiapn text die, I cut Happy out using the Maja Design Monochrome Light Blue sheet & Birthday I cut out using the Maja Design Monochrome Aquamarine sheet....this shade matches the shoes on the image.
I cut out a few pieces with white cardstock first then glued them altogether with the coloured sheet on top.....this makes them thicker & gives an appearance of chipboard.
To glue them together I use a spray adhesive, its less messy & fiddly.

The larger image of the skateboard came from the Maja Design Denim & Friends 12x12 Snapshot sheet & the smaller one came with the 6x6 pad.......I thought it would add interest there being 2 photo's the same but of different sizing.
I cut the integrated stars out using white cardstock & Maja Design Monochrome Aquamarine cardstock.
I kept a couple of the stars inside the cutout.

As always I decorated inside to compliment the front & each sheet was machine stitched.
The rectangle under the main image I cut with Gummiapan Rectangle die & cut it from Maja Design Monochrome Aquamarine.
I used some stars that were cut out from the Integrated Stars die to add here & there, I love that some of them are not perfect star shapes which adds more interest & uniqueness........uniqueness is definitely good for a teenager.

Thanks so much for stopping by we all really appreciate it.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

For You Happy Birthday & DT Call

Hellooooo there all you lovely people around the world, how are you? Hope you are having a fabberooney weekend.

I'm here today with a card I made as soon as I got the new Sofiero papers by Maja Design.........oh I'm soooooooo unbelieveably happy these are not limited edition anymore & they also come in 6x6 & images.....wow how much more excitement can this girl take....ok get a grip Vicky ;-)
When the papers arrived after much MUCH stroking & smelling....yes smelling come on girls we all have to have a smell of our papers..........especially good quality ones....oh my.....
Anyhoo I had this image in my coloured up box (with many more lol) thatwent perfectly & I still hadnt used a certain die since I brought it........problem rectfied ;-)
Pretty pastel shabby chic card with Maja & Maggie today........AKA 'In My Element' thats what cards like this mean ;-)
Do you see the flowers down the bottom, well the leaf die is also a new die........ok not new I brought it last year from Noor Design UK & then totally forgot about it.....I found it in a tub with some other new dies still unopened......ooops.

As always I've decorated inside to compliment the front, I thought I would show you properly as I've covered up a LOT so you cant see lol. The only difference is instead of using half pearls on the doily like I did at the front, I've used a pearl pen....this way the pearl dots dont protrude am much as what half pearls would.
The die is a Magnolia die & the doily is form my stash.
Paper is the Sofiero 6x6 pad which you can get from Noor Design UK along with ALL the 12x12 collection & the co-ordinating Monochromes which go so so beautifully with these papers.....they are double sided but the other side is a slightly different colour..........also let me tell you they are sooooo much more beautiful in real life they really are.
Click here to view the collection.

I've made 2 bows with seam binding I dyed myself, love how well they blend with the colours on the card especially the pink with the rose.....they were not dyed for these papers I dyed them a while ago but luckily they go perfectly lol.
Lace is from my stash & all flowers are WOC from Noor Design UK.

The image is called Magnolia & is called 'Tilda Working In The Garden' & she is from the Spring Fever 2016 collection.
She was stamped onto Fabriano & coloured with distress ink refills & maybe markers but cant remember. Dont remember what colours I used as she was coloured up a while ago.
I cut her out with CC Design Layering Tags die & then added her onto corrugated card painted with gesso.

The little tools, plant pot etc came with the Seed Packet die, as did the little plaque.....its one of those plant labels & I thought it would be perfect for adding a sentiment to.
The wording was cut from a Pion Design sheet, I also inked all around the edge.
I used Maja Design Monochrome 'White/Sand' for the plant &label stake & garden tools & added inking with pumice stone.

So the other new die I had & had still not opened til making this card was the Marianne 'Seed Pocket & Garden Tools' die.........this is fabulous, I love it!! The pocket you can use with a side opening or a top opening, depending what you want use it for. I also want it to use on mini albums ;-)
For the pocket I used Sofiero 'The Magnificient Flower Street' & then cut an image from the 6x6 pad to go on the top, slightly distressing it beforehand. I then used Maja Design Monochrome 'Blush/Rouge' to cut the inside ticket/tag & made a tab to it for making it easier to pull out & I think it adds a nice look to it. The tab part I used Little Darlings Fancy Rectangle & Layers die.....this has to be one of my most favourite dies.I cut it out twice & glued together.
The sentiment is from Stempelglede stamp, there is also another on the back onf the tag saying Made With Love from the same stamp set.

I also want to remind about the Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia challenge which has 2 weeks left & a fabby prize on offer.
