AAHHHH Tissue.....Bless you with a surprise

Hello everyone super quick post from me tonight before I spend quality time with hubster.

I thought I would quickly pop on share my creation I made for Stamping Bella Bellarific Friday which this week is Free Form.
I coloured this super cute image up weeks ago & I coloured him to go with paper that hubby got me for crimbo......yes I actually matched papers first before colouring......I know its rare!!

Anyhoo's this special poorly fella deserved something a bit special.......
How cute is this bear..........OMGoodness I love these stuffies I really do, I do have another one coloured but thats with copics but you will have to wait for that one ;-)
I stamped this onto Fabriano watercolour paper & coloured with distress ink refills.

Wait though there is a surprise..........

Yes its an easel card with tissues.....this holds a travel size pack of tissues & its open ended so it can be refilled. Its perfect for anyone feeling poorly with the dreaded flu dont you think.
I really enjoyed making this!!

I have even devised somewhere to write a personal message. I made a pocket at the back to put a tag in to write on.
The tag is a LLLC die

This is it folded down, it still folds down nicely to be boxed.

The stamp is Stamping Bella 'Stuffy Stuffie' & it also comes with the sentiment I have added here. I have cut out the sentiment using a die from CC Designs Make A Card 16 Summer die set.
Papers are Lemoncraft Gossamer Blue & Ive inked the edges & machine stitched all around each layer as always.
Flowers & Lace are from my stash. The Joycraft die-cut the image is on is from Noor Design UK. The leaves are LLLC dies. The bulldog clip is from my stash.

Thats it fromme, thanks so so much for stopping by really means such a lot.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Noor Design March Challenge

Hello there, how are you all?

Well its the 1st March........where are these weeks going.....think they need to slow down.
Anyway its time for a new challenge over at Noor Design UK & this month we have a lovely challenge...........
SPRING
.........just what we need right now, spring & summer are my favourite times of year.
I've gone for a more shabby chic kinda card using that fabulous new Fantasy die I told you about yesterday in my post here. Also the perfect Pion papers Spring Garden thrown in with some flowers......what could say more spring that ;-)
This time I've used as my focal point along with the Marianne Doily star die.......well when I cut it out for my test I had to use it lol.
Lots of layering on this card & lots of dimension.
This piccy is to try show you the dimension on this card.
You can also see the 2 laces I've used, there are also pieces of lace peeking out at the edge on both sides.....one bit is just under the green gem on the left side.

As you can see the 3rd layer I edged with a Marianne Border Wave die & tucked a bark star in there. There is also more lace tucked under the 2nd layer.
The little clay butterfly is from my stash, extremely lightweight that is.

I made a cabochon from the same paper as whats in the centre of the scrapiniec. You can also see the brick wall scrapiniec peeking out here too.

The large white flower in the centre I made myself with Foamiran, the leaf attached to the underside of the flower I made with foamiran & a rosy owl die.
Tracy at Noor Design UK stocks the widest selection of Foamiran as well as lots of fabulous dies & moulds & stamens.........a huge choice.

The foacl point comprises of a Marianne doily star die, the new Fantasy die cut out of Pion Design Palette Green l & then a scrapiniec frame on top of that with Pion paper in the centre & some flat backed pearls.
Now I could not find my half pearls so I used my fat backed pearl string & cut off what pearls I needed.
I also cut some border from the Borders sheet & then added a sentiment cut from the same sheet on top. The butterflies were also cut from that sheet (love these) crackle accents added then thin pearl string.

All papers were distressed using scissors so I could get the right distressing I needed.....I find scissors are better when I'm needing a more distressed look in places. Of course as always I machine stitched around every layer.....even following the border line on the top layer.
I added wax cord & seam binding in amongst the flowers, as well as another bark star & some tiny gypsophila.
I really enjoyed enjoyed making this card & everything just fell into place.......it went together like strawberries & cream......but in shades of green lol.

Please pop on over to see my teamies creations & we hope to see all your wonderful spring themed cards in the challenge this month. Bring us some spring ;-)

Thanks for stopping by.

Noor Design UK DT Card

Hello everyone Happy Tuesday.
I'm here today to show you what I've made using new goodies that Tracy has recently added to her store. One are the new Magnolia Emoji stamp.....oh my they are sooooo darn cute. I think I brought 5 & I've coloured 4 already & I only got them Saturday lol.

Another of the newbies is the super fantastic new die rangeTracy has added & there are lots more coming. First I will show you my card & then tell you more about the dies ;-)
The 3 Doilies that I've added to my card are from the new die range called 'Fantasy' Now I'm a huge die fanatic, I lurve dies but I'm also quite judgemental & tend to moan & complain when they dont cut properly. Recently I found out though that it can also be down to the die cutting machine & that really is true........so hubster got me new ones.
Anyhoo when I got the new die in my DT pack on saturday I thought I would do a test against another doily die.........here is the result below.
Now to give this a test the card I cut them with is either 25ogsm or 300 I cant remember which it is, it is thick card.
On the left is a Marianne die, I love this die & its a good die. Both have been put through the machine once, the Marianne die needs going through again to get a better cut because as you can see it has missed bits. However when I took the Fantasy die out it had cut beautifully, I am so impressed with this die. The company did assure Tracy they are good but the proof is in the cutting ;-)

Well the Cutting is fantastic, let me tell you & the designs that are coming are truly stunning, I want them all lol.
I added flowers from my DT pack but I took out the centres this time & added stamens from Noor Design UK, Tracy has a HUGE selection as well as a huge selection of Foamiran.........the biggest selection in the UK!!!

I have cut flowers from the beautiful lace Rosy Leaf Pink, this lace you can use whole as it is or bby cutting off a flower & leaf & using it singular.
The sentiment is Little Darlings & I cut it out using Magnolia Sign die from the recipe collection & of course added some bling.

The stamp is called 'Heart For You Tilda' & I stamped her withbrown ink onto Fabriano watercolour paper & colorued her with distress ink refills & markers & then sealed it with Rangers Micro Glaze which Tracy should hopefully be getting in stock soon. I also added Pearl Dots around her using a pearl pen.
I cut the image out with Little Darlings Fancy Squares & layered her onto a piece of paer cut with the larger die, that paper is from 'Heart Painted'.

The centre panel is cut with Magnolia Recipe Card die & I inked the edges with Pumice stone. I also added Grace Lace across the centre of the centre panel before adding the image.
I've also added pearls cut from pearl string.

The gorgeous paper is from the updated version of 'Heart Of Roses', this is truly a beautiful pad, this will be used LOTS lol. I inked the edges & machine stitched all around the edge including the recipe card in the centre.
I've also mde Roses using the Rose & Heart die from the Recipe Collection, the stems were cut from a Pion paper & the buds from 'Heart Painted' another beautiful paper pad.
I also added a bow using the die that came with the Swedish Tilda With Bow from the stamp & cutz collection.

Hope you like my card today. I would also like to thank everyone for the lovely messages & emails that were sent to me for my tutorial last week & I hope you will enjoy future ones.

Come back tomorrow when we have a brand new challenge.

On another challenge note there are just over 3 days left over at Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia & the theme is Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by, it really means such a lot to us girls.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
