For You Happy Birthday & DT Call

Hellooooo there all you lovely people around the world, how are you? Hope you are having a fabberooney weekend.

I'm here today with a card I made as soon as I got the new Sofiero papers by Maja Design.........oh I'm soooooooo unbelieveably happy these are not limited edition anymore & they also come in 6x6 & images.....wow how much more excitement can this girl take....ok get a grip Vicky ;-)

When the papers arrived after much MUCH stroking & smelling....yes smelling come on girls we all have to have a smell of our papers..........especially good quality ones....oh my.....

Anyhoo I had this image in my coloured up box (with many more lol) thatwent perfectly & I still hadnt used a certain die since I brought it........problem rectfied ;-)

Pretty pastel shabby chic card with Maja & Maggie today........AKA 'In My Element' thats what cards like this mean ;-)

Do you see the flowers down the bottom, well the leaf die is also a new die........ok not new I brought it last year from Noor Design UK & then totally forgot about it.....I found it in a tub with some other new dies still unopened......ooops. 

As always I've decorated inside to compliment the front, I thought I would show you properly as I've covered up a LOT so you cant see lol. The only difference is instead of using half pearls on the doily like I did at the front, I've used a pearl pen....this way the pearl dots dont protrude am much as what half pearls would.

The die is a Magnolia die & the doily is form my stash.

Paper is the Sofiero 6x6 pad which you can get from Noor Design UK along with ALL the 12x12 collection & the co-ordinating Monochromes which go so so beautifully with these papers.....they are double sided but the other side is a slightly different colour..........also let me tell you they are sooooo much more beautiful in real life they really are.

I've made 2 bows with seam binding I dyed myself, love how well they blend with the colours on the card especially the pink with the rose.....they were not dyed for these papers I dyed them a while ago but luckily they go perfectly lol.

Lace is from my stash & all flowers are WOC from Noor Design UK.

The image is called Magnolia & is called 'Tilda Working In The Garden' & she is from the Spring Fever 2016 collection.

She was stamped onto Fabriano & coloured with distress ink refills & maybe markers but cant remember. Dont remember what colours I used as she was coloured up a while ago.

I cut her out with CC Design Layering Tags die & then added her onto corrugated card painted with gesso.

The little tools, plant pot etc came with the Seed Packet die, as did the little plaque.....its one of those plant labels & I thought it would be perfect for adding a sentiment to.

The wording was cut from a Pion Design sheet, I also inked all around the edge.

I used Maja Design Monochrome 'White/Sand' for the plant &label stake & garden tools & added inking with pumice stone.

So the other new die I had & had still not opened til making this card was the Marianne 'Seed Pocket & Garden Tools' die.........this is fabulous, I love it!! The pocket you can use with a side opening or a top opening, depending what you want use it for. I also want it to use on mini albums ;-)

For the pocket I used Sofiero 'The Magnificient Flower Street' & then cut an image from the 6x6 pad to go on the top, slightly distressing it beforehand. I then used Maja Design Monochrome 'Blush/Rouge' to cut the inside ticket/tag & made a tab to it for making it easier to pull out & I think it adds a nice look to it. The tab part I used Little Darlings Fancy Rectangle & Layers die.....this has to be one of my most favourite dies.I cut it out twice & glued together.

The sentiment is from Stempelglede stamp, there is also another on the back onf the tag saying Made With Love from the same stamp set.

MMMMM PIZZAAAAAA

Hello everyone.

I know you dont normally see me on a Wednesday night but I've made a card for fun........yep no order, no DT, just for the pure pleasure lol. 

Actually my lovely talented bloggy friend Gina set a new challenge over at Fussy & Fancy & I really wanted to make a card for that challenge.......

The challenge is Favourite Things......now in some ways its a toughie as I have lots, however I do have some VERY firm favourites.......see if you can guess them ;-)

Ok so 5 very firm favourites are........Maja Design paper (of course), Magnolia stamps & dies, Distress Inks,  Lace & Flowers.......

I've used Maja Design Summertime 12x12 papers from Noor Design UK, all layers have been inked & machine sewn (another favourite thing to do). The card shape is done with a Go-Kreate die.

The stamp is Magnolia 'Pizza Spinning Tilda' & I stamped her onto Fabriano watercolour paper & coloured her with distress ink refills & markers. The pizza I stamped twice & layered up with foam pads to give dimension.

I've added a 'Firework' die here as I think these are fab & could go on any card. Underneath are 2 envelopes from Doohickey club kit 9.......another favourite of mine now is collecting these :-)

I've also added a doily & cheesecloth underneath. 

I added a Kraft Mini Bag to put 2 Magnolia Tags in with sentiments from Stempelglede's Just A Note stamp set. The seam binding is from my stash. The blingy button is from Noor Design UK called 'Button Marie'. The flowers are also from Noor Design UK.

I've added Magnolia Doohickey 'Surfing Leaf' & cut it from Summertime sheet 'Greenery'. I also added Magnolia 'Celebration Lace' die. I've also added one of my favourite dies from Magnolia which are the swirls......

The image is cut with Memory Box stitched Oval die & you can also see lace peeking out there lol.

I also added a bit of shabby white frantage around the image.

All About Magnolia Challenge Reminder DT Card

Hellloooo everyone, hope you all had a lovely jubbly weekend.

I would like to say a huge thank you for the lovely comments on my last creation, they really do mean a lot to me. I have to say that I totally enjoyed making it :-)

Ok so I'm here today with a reminder for the All About Magnolia Challenge with the super duper easy theme of........

FLOWERS

.........how easy is that ;-) You have nearly 2 weeks to enter your lovely flowery creations.

I have used Maja Design papers for this card, I've used papers from 2 collections.....one of the things I love about Maja Design is that each collection can be mixed with each other.

Ok so the bottom layer is from the new Vintage Baby collection 'Sweet Little Princess 12x12' & the strip across the middle is from the Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 pad. All papers were machine stitched & the edges inked with Pumice Stone.

The edging is from a Magnolia Doo-Hickey Vintage Box Lacing Coffee die. The Maja Design paper & lace are from Live & Love Crafts.

The magnolia stamp is another form the latest Sakura Collection 2015, I lurve these soooooo much. This one is called 'Tilda With Flower Tiara' & I coloured her with distress ink refills & markers.

Colours used are....

Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany (cheeks) - Skin

Antique Linen, Walnut - Hair

Stormy Sky (marker) - Dress & Hairband

Worn Lipstick (marker) - Flowers in her hair

Weathered Wood - Ground

I also stamped a couple of Magnolia Postage stamps around the image & added some Shabby White Fran-Tage around the image as well.

As well as most of the stamps hubster got me form the new collection he also got me the new Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Sakura Flowers Umbrella'  I cut them all out with white card & the flowers I inked up with Worn Lipstick & Milled Lavender distress inks, I then added a brad to each centre from my stash.

All the flowers are from Live & Love Crafts & the dies under the flowers are from Noor Design UK, dies used are 0163 - Vintage Swirl Leaf Die & 0158 - Floral Fower die No. 3 & 0331 - Leaves Die.

The sentiment is from the Stempelglede 'Just A Note' stamp set from Live & Love Crafts, I stamped it out in cocoa memento, cut in out using a circle die & then added a brad at the top & inked all around the edge.

Noor Design UK Challenge

Hello everyone how are you all? Wow these days & months are just flying  by arn't they. Would you believe it was my youngest sons 19th Birthday on the 29th & I had to go out & buy cards, yep its just been that hectic I've not had time make him any. I've just been getting my DT work done........ Hopefully it wont be long until we are back to normal.........wooo hoo.

Ok so over & done with my blabbering. I think I better tell you about the new challenge this month over at Noor Design UK, it's sooooo super easy............

FLOWERS

.............yep you read right 'Flowers'........who doesn't love flowers........well you may tell by some of my creations that I like them a littel..........lol....yeah ok A LOT!!!

Ok so no image from me again today..........

See told ya, no image ;-) Nope this time I've decroated one of the Dutch Dubadoo MDF Hangers, love these things. I cant find a link in the store but if you drop Tracy a line she will order one in for you..........and it keeps her out of mischief if you keep her busy....sshhh dont tell her I sent you though ;-)

Of course here are all of my flowers. List & links to items used will be at the bottom of the post.

All of the flowers are from Live & Love Crafts.

The sentiment is a Stempleglede one from LLC here. I've stamped it & heat emb ossed it in white powder. I've also added Gesso all around the oval & on parts of the frame.

The bows are from my stash.

These last 2 pics I placed the hanger on a piece of paper so you could see the dies & other bits used a bit better..........they dissapear into the white background lol.

The paper I stitched around before gluing it to the hanger..........think I was having withdrawal from not using my machine on the last project I did & also another project I did the same time as this...........will explain about that another time. Yep my doofus moment!!

Well thats it from me, we have the rest of the kitchen to tile..........seems to be taking forever :-(

On the extension front, well its nearly done, we are waiting for the darn bath now which is taking its time. Which means not much can be done until that arrives. Though I have been painting the ceiling...........I hate painting bare plaster.......the muscles in my right arm........... Well The Rock has nothing on my right arm I tell ya lol.

Thinking About You

Hello everyone how are you all.

Hows the weather where you are? Its freezing here although we've actually had some snow.......if you can call it snow.........more like sugar frosting on a cake!!!!!! GGRRRR

Ok todays card I actually made a couple of weeks ago for a lovely lady who is having a rough time at the mo. I sent her the card about a week ago I think..........the days are kinda merging into each other at the mo lol. Anyway I sent it to her before she went away just to let her know I was thinking of her & her family.

I used a gorgeous Stempleglede stamp, I'm not used to colouring flowers but I thought this stamp was perfect for telling someone you were thinking of them. 

The gorgeous lace is 'Lace Adelaide' from LLC, in fact all the products on this card are from LLC lol. I've also added Pleated Tulle.

This gorgeous stamp is Stempleglede Vintage Garden. I coloured it with distress markers.

Victorian Velvet

Aged Mahogany

Stormy Sky

Wild Honey

Dusty Concord

Forest Moss & Peeled Paint are the greens. I think these were the colours :/

The tags are Magnolia dies & I stamped sentiments using Stempleglede Just A Note. I attached lace & Vax Cord to each tag & a charm & of course a touch of gesso ;-)

The flowers are from LLC as is the cheesecloth thats under there somewhere lol. I am trying my best to think what papers I used for the card & I think they were Maja Design (my fave) Vintage Autumn Basics 6x6 pad......I think :/ Of course inside was decorated to compliment the front as always the papers would have been stitched.

Well thats it from me I have a crafting day ahead of me today as I've a DT card to do & a few orders & tomorrow we start decorating conservatory woo hoo.
