Have A Lovely Birthday

Hello there everyone how are you all?

Well I'm working through cards that I made that have not been blogged & I have a few lol. This one is a vintage kinda card that I made.......oooh let me think, I'm gonna guess about 3 months ago maybe lol. I love the colours pink & green together its shabby chic/country dontcha think??
Ok now the problem is I have to try remember what products I used as I like to tell you what I use & enable you to go buy them hee hee.
Ok the shape was definitely made with a Go-Kreate die & the papers are definitely Pion. The image is also Pion.
I used a fairly new die, or at the time it was & thats the Umbrella die which is a Magnolia die that I got from Swedish House Crafts...........I had been after this die for soooooooo long & whilst trying to get it I found a shop that I didnt know existed & they do all fabulous Swedish products.....Suha the owner is so sweet.

The cabochon I made myself by cutting a clock from Pion paper with a circle punch & then attaching a glass cabochon dome over the top.........I glued it with glossy accents.
The seam binding underneath are from my stash.....the pale green one I made myself ages ago.

The photo's were taken ages ago & for some reason I only took these ones....
Dies I've used are LLLC Doily die at the left side, I also added 2 doily dies on the right under the image, a Fantasy die & the other is a Marianne die. The playing cards were cut from Pion Design paper.
The sentiment is LOTV.

Well thats it from me today will be back tomorrow with a newer card......
Hope the weather is good for you where ever you are, its miserable here & just started raining....we did have sunshine & I pegged washing out......yep then I did the running act trying to dodge the rain drops whilst getting it all back in again lol......its now in the dryer :-(

Thanks for stopping by lovelies, take care.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Have A Great Birthday

Helllooooo there everyone how are you all? Well someone must have heard me complainging about the weather yesterday as today is such a beautiful day here by the sea.

Well I can finally show you a card with a new stamp brand, new for me. Now if I'm ever inspired by anyone to try a certainstamp or style I will give credit to that person.
This time I'm not sure wether to give credit or blame that person for helping me spend lots of money as I have another 8 of these stamps on their way & I know I will want more lol.....not that I need help spending my money lol.
I had seen these stamps & thought they were sooo pretty, they had such an innocence about them & then I saw the lovely talented Gina use some on her cards.......yep that was the stamp in the basket lol.

This is a card I made early last week & is a commisioned card that was requested with this stamp.
Look at that image isn't it fabulous, I think I'm gonna want them all!!
The card shape was made with a Go-Kreate die & the papers are all Maja Design Vintage Romance, sheets used are 'Romance Engagement' both sides & 'Romance Wedding Day'.
All layers were machine sewn around the edge.

I've added Doilies from my stash underneath.
A Bark Heart with added gesso & a little blossom, all form Noor Design UK.

So the stamp is by Dreamerland Crafts & this one is called 'Stretching Out' & I stamped the image onto Fabriano watercolour paper & coloured it with distress ink refills.
I added pearl dots around the image using a pearl pen & added stickles to the bunny's ears & the lacey bits on her dress.
I also added some cut out grass using a magnolia die from Volume 8 club kit......I really need to start digging out more unused dies.

As always (unless for a show) I decorate dinside to compliment the front.
The double bow is made from seam binding I dyed myself a while ago & added some bling to the centre.
The sentiment is an old wooden one in my stash. The heart its stamped on is a Magnolia die, I think its a Tea Label Shapes die & then I added another heart from a Little Darlings die.

Added WOC flowers & the leaves & swirl underneath are Magnolia dies. In the pocket I added a tag with a sentiment form an old rubber stamp from LOTV which is the Birthday Recipe.

You can of course pre-order LOTS of these stamps from Noor Design UK they are on their way to the store s I type lol. There are new & older ones that Tracey has ordered as well. Pop along see these beauties for yourself........if I were you I would be quick before I go order lots more lol.

Well another busy day for me so I'm gonna move my butt now & will catch up with you later.

Thanks for stopping by, big hugs to all

Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia Challenge

Hello lovelies how are you all? Are you having a fabby weekend, I hope you are enjoying it whatever you are doing.

So its time for a brand new challenge over at Lovely Hanglar Or Sweet Magnolia & the theme this month is again.........
ANYTHING GOES
.......what can I say, we absolutely love seeing all your creations & leaving the imagination up to you.
Now dont forget you can enter as many times as you want.....yep bring us 10 of your creations, the more the merrier plus it also increases your chance at the fabulous prize on offer as well as the glorious Top 3.
This month we are sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts......ooh think of all those flowers you could win ;-)
My card is one that has been made up a while & I completely forgot to even take photo's of it never mind blog it.....ooops ;-\
Papers are Lemoncraft 'Just Love Me' & as always I've machine stitched all around the edges.
Senetiment is a rubber stamp from LOTV.

I have used 'Tilda With Lace Pants' from the Animal Year collection 2014. She is coloured with copics but I cannot remember the colours as truth is she was in my coloured up box but only half coloured lol.....her skin, hair & dungarees were coloured but she still had uncoloured hair bow, top & shoes & she had no ground or background lol.
I also added white dots to her cheeks using a white gel pen & I gave her eyelashes....doesnt she look kinda bashful lol.
I cut the image with a MB Stitched Oval & then it to a Little Darlings Gilded Oval die.

Lace was a crmbo present off hubster from Noor Design UK. The heart in the corner is from the Recipe Collection & is 'Rose & Heart' die, I just cut the heart in half as its a folding little tag, as the edge where it folds is straight I then added a Bark Heart with it to disguise the straight edge lol.
Other dies include LLLC Leaves die, Cheery Lynn Doily die. I've also used 2 Magnolia dies, the Lovely Umbrella & the Bride Bow. The flowers are WOC, I've added 2 darker pink ones to match the colour of her top & bow. I also added a bit of bling to the centre of the bow as well.

Please pop on over to see the fabulous DT creations, my teamies are soooooo darn talented so please pop over to them & show them some love.

Looking forward to seeing your yummy Hanglar or Magnolia creations this month & dont foget you canenter as many times as you like.......bring on the fun ;-)

Thanks for stopping by, my family have just arrived to spend the rest of the day with us & have tea here. I love weekends ;-)

Season's Greeting's

Hello everyone how are you all doing? I have a poorly daughter at the minute, think she's picked a sickness bug up. My grand-daughter has also had it & has been poorly this week also. Its this cold weather blowing all the germs around.

Anyway I'm here today with the 2nd card I made from the First Editions Silent Night 8x8 pad.
Now if I get inspiration or an idea from somewhere I always give credit, its the right thing to do & this inspiration came from a very talented lady.....will tell you at the end or you wont come back once you see her creations....you may even know who I mean ;-)
Again I've distressed the edges & machine stitched them. The top layer I popped onto foam pads then attached onto the bottom layer.

The poinsettia is made up with papers from the same pad & made using the Creative Expressions Classic Poinsettia die, I added Marianne Holly die-cuts & some pomegranate apples from Noor Design UK. The bling in the centre is from my stash.

Under the top layer I added Scrapiniec 'Doily Lace Border' set, I inked the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink. In between I added blue gems from my stash.
Senitment is LOTV.

The bauble is made from 2 Scrapiniec sets,  the top layer from Scrapiniec Tinsel Christmas set which I sprayed with white paint. The bottom layer is from the Scrapiniec Baubles Full set which I left plain & just inked the edges with Pumice Stone. Then added 2 blue gems from my stash & tied some cord through the eyelet into a bow.

Inside is decorated to compliment the front as always. Amongst the poinsettia I also added pearl string & a seam binding bow both you can get from Noor Design UK.

Ok I will tell you the lady that gave me inspiration for this, although I will say its no where near as beautiful as what she does........maybe one day though lol. Click here to go to her blog.
It was nice to try something different I've been trying a few different things lately, including something I designed & thought of.....stay tuned lol.

Thanks for stopping by

Deep Ocean Challenges DT Card

Hello everyone running a wee bit late my DT card, my youngest son was took to hospital yesterday as he came off his bike, he had only been out less than 10 minutes. Nothing serious thank goodness but his face is a mess :-(  Was up the hospital for quite a few hours & forgot all about my DT post, sorry :-(

Anyhoo's remember when I said I had made something for LLC but our lovely Beck had used the same image so I couldnt use the card..............well today I'm showing you that.....
First I will tell you the theme over at Deep Ocean Challenges this fortnight........
SHAPED CARDS
...............yep basically any shape you like...........except square & rectangle ;-)
I've used a Go-Kreate die for the shape of the card. The super gorgeous papers are Pion Design 'Paris Flea Market. I've used 'Rose du Jardin 12x12' & 'By The Eiffel Tower 6x6'. I lurve these papers, they are my fave Pion papers.
Both of the gorgeous lace is from Live & Love Crafts..........actually except the dies & the sentiment everything is from Live & Love Crafts lol.
Inside is of course decorated, all papers have been machine sewn. The sentiment I've used is Stempelglede Just A Note from LLC. When I had finished making this card I actually was quite pleased with it..........that doesnt happen often. So this card is for Natalie off her youngest brother for her birthday in June lol.
I've used Magnolia Doo-Hickey dies, the fence, the sprawling ferns & the swirl. I made little banners at the side using the border from the 'Borders 12x12' sheet, distressed them a bit & inked them.
I added a Resin Frame & placed a Heart shaped pearl inside..........this was cream but I coloured it red with a Sharpie ;-)

I've put a sheet of Maja Design paper behind it so I could capture all the liitle bits ;-)
Of course the super gorgeous image is Saturated Canary 'Cherry Blossom', I coloured her with Distress Ink refills & markers. I added a Tree beside her, its a Memory Box die but I cut the frame awy. I punched out lots of circles using a hole punch & turned them into little blossoms. The few larger blossoms are with a small flower punch, shaped them & added pearl dots inside using my pearl pen. I also added small pearl dots around the image. The grass behind the fence I used again a MB die & inked them with Peeled Paint distress ink & put them so they were just peeking out over the fence.
Sentiment is LOTV & it got heat embossed with UTEE.

Well that's it form me I have wood cladding to put up, so have a busy morning/day lol.
Hope you will join us for our Shaped Cards challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by lovelies.
Take care & hope you have a super duper day.
Lotsa hugs Vicky oxoxox

Bit Of CAS...........

Hello there hope you all had a lovely jubbly Easter. We had a lovely one & spent it with the family. Though on Saturday night we decided at 7pm to rush through to B&Q to get some tiles for the kitchen lol. Yep we bunged Natalie into her wheelchair, put her in the van & away went a very excited Vicky lol. Yep small things, small minds lol. Though we also got Natalie's wallpaper for her bedroom & bathroom when the building work is finished..........OMG.....the wallpaper is absolutely gorgeous.....

Anyhoo I'm babbling here when I only meant to do a quick post & show you a CAS Card I made for Christine of Papernest Dolls. I made this over a month ago & completely forgot I hadn't shown you.........oops ;-)
When I made the Gift Bag for her I decided at the last minute I would make her another little surprise to have on her stall at the show. So CAS it had to be & this was made EXTREMELY fast!!!

The papers are Maja Design from the Vintage Summer 6x6 pad, I lurve this pad!! I think this paper go beautifully with the image..........I nearly went for something else but Maja fullfilled the job perfectly dont you think ;-)

Ok so the stamp is called 'Spring Basket Avery' & I coloured her VERY fastly with Copics & paper pieced her headband & boots in the same Maja Design papers.
Sorry I cant remember what colours I used, I really did colour her so fast....I wasn't really happy with it but I was running out of time :-(

The borders I used a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from LOTV & I added a small Prima flower from my stash. Of course lots of stitching everywhere as well lol.

For all you Magnolia lovers there is a new challenge run by my uber talented teamie Diana, its called
'ALL ABOUT MAGNOLIA' Challenge & it's a monthly challenge & this month is super easy.........the theme is everyone's favourite 'ANYTHING GOES'...........
Also I'm a new DT member there, I cant tell you how utterly excited & honoured I am to work with uber talented ladies.

Well I'm off to get DT work done as I barely got anything done over the weekend, as I've ended up with a kidney infection again :-( Darn things, but never mind.
So I will say tatty bye lovelies, thank you sooooooo much for stopping by.
Take care, lotsa hugs Vicky xxxxxxxxxx

A Beautiful Baby Boy

Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I havn't done any crafting over the weekend as I spent the weekend with my gorgeous family & then yesterday spent the whole day baking & cooking with my new oven............oooh it was bliss...

Anyhoo's today I'm sharing a card I made earlier last week, though the image I coloured ages ago...........as soon as I saw this image I wanted it & waited patiently til it went into digi lol.
Isn't this image sooooooooooo darn cute, I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!
Papers I've used are the gorgeous Pion Sweet Baby collection, I've used 'Blue Forget Me Not 6x6'. These are getting discontinued so grab em while you can lovelies.
Of course as always I've stitched all around the papers. The top layes was cut out with a XL Spellbinder die.

I've added a Banner & underneath there you can see a doily, these are both dies from La La Land Crafts. I used the 'Heart Doily Border' & 'Heart Banner' dies.
You can also just see the 'Cheese Cloth' peeking out there.

All the flowers are from Live & Love Crafts. The die underneath is from Noor Design UK & is one of my faves as most of you know lol, it's '0163 - Vintage Swirl Leaf' die.
The sentiment is from LOTV. I placed it into a Tim Holtz Memo Pin.

This super gorgeously cute image is from La La Land Crafts......'Baby Luka' & I coloured him with distress markers & then went in again with re-fills to deepen the shadows.
This is a digi but you can also get him in rubber as well.

The 2 gorgeous laces are from LLC. Underneath the image I've used 2 dies, the blue one is a Marianne die & the white one on top is 0146 - Rectangle Frame die & also added '0370 - Ladybird Edge' die both from Noor Design UK.
I've added doilies, metal corner, ribbon & a liitle dummy hanging from the organza bow with a blue baby pin, all of these are from my stash.

Well that's it from me, I have DT work to get done & washing in between.
Thank you so much for stopping by it really means a lot to me.
Take care lovelies, lotsa hugs Vicky xxxxx

A 60th Birthday

Hello everyone how are you all doing? Hope you have had a lovely weekend. We had a nice one with family as always............my favourite time of the week :-)
Ok so I have a few cards in my drafts that I still havn't blogged, so this week I will try to show them all...........before I forget about them lol.

The one I'm showing today is actually like one I've made before, a LOTV card I made here.
This is for a lady who wanted a card for her Auntie's 60th Birthday back in February & she wanted it like the LOTV card I made only saying something different.
Now I do like each of my cards to be one of a kind, so I did change a few things just to still make this card one of a kind & unique to the recipient ;-)
Can you spot the differences between the 2 cards? I was asked to do the same but instead it needed to say 'Auntie Dilys' & have the number 60 on.

I used the same leaf die, but I changed some of the flowers & also added more flowers on this.
All of the flowers are from Live & Love Crafts, except the 2 larger purple ones.

Ok so the difference here from the other card is I added a Banner cut from a Noor Design die here, I even machine stitched around the banner & the oval ;-) The Name I heat embossed & the numbers got the Shabby White Frantage treatment ;-) Numbers are from my stash.

2 other things that make this card different are I added a larger blingy button to the bows & I added a punched edge using a MF PATP set.

The papers I used are different althought they are from the same LOTV pad..........love this pad, it really is so so pretty. The pad is LOTV 'Snow Princess' & I machine stitched all the layers.
Seam binding & button are from my stash.

Well that's it from me today, the builders arrived just before 8am & they are starting to build walls. I pushed Natalie's wheelchair in front of the conservatory door so she could see what was going on for a bit........not sure if she understands but I like to think she does........she's a clever lady really ;-)

Ok I'm going now but I want to say a HUGE thank you for putting up with me & my bad blogging, you all really rock. Thank you for your support & lovely comments.
Tatty bye lovelies, take care & enjoy your day

Happy Mothers Day

Hello everyone I'm here with your Saturday inspiration for Live & Love Crafts. Well as you know Sandy asked us DT girls for Spring Themed cards. Well to me Spring means Mother's Day in the UK as its Mother's Day here in the Uk tomorrow I am showing you a Mother's Day Card.
Now I made this card for someone, the request was a Box Frame Card & it was to be red.....
here's what I came up with...........
Ok so I've not actually used Spring papers........no no no I've used my utmost favourite red papers which are Maja Design 'A Gift For You' christmas papers. Of course I've used the ones that have nothing christmassy on them..........I love it when some papers are like that.

I cut the 'FOR YOU' from a 12x12 sheet of the same collection. Made a heart of flowers in the centre of the frame.

I really was stuck on what image.......however this gorgeous LOTV Bear cried out to me........after all he's holding a heart. He was of course coloured using distress ink pads & inks.
I also added a small piece of the design paper to the patch on his heart ;-)

I put a flowers display in the corner using larger flowers, Magnolia Sprawling leaves & one of my favourite Noor Design dies, the 'Swirl Leaf' die. I've also added Pearl String in there & a 'Mother' charm from my stash.
I decorated all the sides, inside & outside of the frame. The top layer I actually stitched a few rows around with my sewing machine.
The banners I made myself using my laptop. At the top I also put Rose Organza Trim which you cant really see in the pic. Think you can see it in the ic with the corner flowers a little bit lol.

Well I have a busy day today & its spending it all with my family & we are going to a shabby chic shop that my eldest son found. So excited about that. Tomorrow I'm getting taken out for Mother's Day dinner..........first time since I became a mum 24 years ago, definately excited about that as well.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend & hope all you fabulous mums get spoilt rotten tomorrow.

Tatty bye  lovelies.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxxxxxx

EDITED TO ADD - So sorry for the lateness I forgot to click publish & I've been out all day & just got back. Really sorry for the late post.
