Noor Design UK DT Cards

Hi everyone I have 2 projects to show you today for the Noor Design UK Blog one with a stamped image & the other without.

The first one I will show you a card I made with the gorgeous Scrapiniec Chandelier.....I love these chipboard shapes & words.....perfect for anyone who does not like stamped images or perfect for quicker cards.

I sprayed the Chandelier with white spray paint, I love these because you can spray them, paint them, ink them or leave them as they come. I chose spray as it leaves a nice sheen to it when its dry.

For the edge I used a Crealies die. The paper is the gorgeous Maja Design Vintage Romance which Tracy has in her store, such a gorgeous pad.....as they always are ;-)

I have added lace along the top but I hid most of the front oops. However the inside is decorated the same so you can just see it at the top inside lol. The envelopes are from the Magnolia Doohickey Club Kit 9. Of course I've used beautiful flowers from Noor Design & have you seen the gorgeous butterfly.....love those!! I also added a bit more Scrapiniec at the top peeking out of the flowers, which was also sprayed white.

For my second card I used a Dutch Doobadoo Card Art A4 Swing Art template, with the beautiful Craft & You Rose Garden paper, all of which is machine stitched.

Behind the centre oval I added double layered lace

Love the folds on this & the best thing about these as they make a statement without having to put too much foofiness on ;-)

The star die-cut is from Doohickey club set 9 & the butterflies & the tag which the sentiment is on is from Club set 10..........I think Tracy still has 1 or 2 of these left.....

Added a fabulous bit of bling in the top corner, these are so so pretty!!

Also can you see the Scrapiniec leaf peeking out.

How do you like this fabulous cute Whimsy stamp, I soooo love these elephants. I coloured this cutie in about 2 months ago.........shamefully its took til a week ago to put it on a card.

Blue and White at La La Land Crafts

Hello everyone I'm here today with my DT card for La La Land Crafts & this week us ladies were set the theme of Blue & White.

I decided use another one of the fabulous new release Christmas images as I lurve Blue & White crimbo cards....

So here is Marci.........

Now there is something different about this card on the first & last photo.....see if you can spot it ;-)

I have used my favourite dies, the 3 christmas trees & North Pole.........just lurve these!!

The sentiment Marci is standing next to are Life Cards from Authentique, they are fab. Of course I machine stitched around mine & thought it would be perfect use as a focal point with Marci.

The papers I've used are First Edition 'Silent Night' 8x8, I saw them last week & ordered them from Amazon on Prime so were here the next day. As I wasn't crafting properly last christmas I didnt get them.......I didnt get anything. It WILL NOT be the case this year lol.

The silver chrsitmas tree Marci is standing next to I fussy cut around one side of the paper so the tree stood out a bit more & wasn't hidden by Marci.

So did you see the difference?? Well I couldnt decide if the Bark Star in the first photo looked right on the card, so I didnt glue it in & took pics with & without....what do ya think??

He chose blue.....I hate blue in the home, yet its one of my faves in crafting....strange isn't it lol.

Summer Joy at Noor Design UK

Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I'm actually typing this post on the friday before the weekend & while my card is reminding me of summer........well through the window is murky, misty & grey.

Thank goodness for Maja Design for bringing sunshine in when skies are grey ;-)

Now I made this card just before the red card last week......my Maja Design papers came & I couldnt decide which ones use first......so I used my DT ones first.....its easier to get over the loss then....mine I can stroke & stroke & stroke.........kinda like my own paper pet & she's called Maja ;-)

Seriously if you dont have these papers yet then rush to get them NOWWWWW....here's the link ;-)

I have made some little banners going out the side there from the strips along the bottom that are on the back of each 12x12 sheet.....love these!! I cut out one fo the little postage stamp doo dah's & give it a bit of distressiing. The die at the top is the fabulous Fence die, all links at the bottom of the post.

 I have used one of the images from the Summertime set & then sat Frenchy Tilda at the bottom.........she has been sat in my coloured up box of images now since I first got her when she was released........she was the first one I coloured.......guess she was waiting for the perfect paper ;-)

The Bicycle is her's lol.

Can you see the beautiful lace peeking out.....mmmm totally gorgeous!!

As you can see inside is decorated as always. All papers have been distressed a bit & inked with pumice stone & then machine stitched.

All flowers of course are form Noor Design UK, as are the pomegranate apples. I also put a string bow in amongst them............our Bev does inspire us all ;-)

Midweek Magnolia's - Summertime

As You Like It - Favourite Paer & Why.......

OMGoodness I am a paper fanatic, collector, hoarder whatever you want to call me, however my favourite paper HAS TO BE Maja Design, its what I've used on this card. I love that each collection comes in 12x12 & 6x6, I love the variety of pattern, the variety of colours in each pack, the quality & thickness is the best ever.......I know I can do anything to these papers & they will withstand it, even a good bashing ahem I mean distressing lol. I love they come with tags & images & even the littlw strip along the reverse of each 12x12 sheet so nothing gets wasted. I love how each release can go with another release...... I always buy LOTS because I need some for stroking....over & over. Yes they become my paper pet........& she's called Maja ;-)

New Challenge Over At Noor Design UK

Hello everyone running a wee bit late today......so sorry :-(

Now there is a new challenge over at Noor Design UK this month & its a fabby one....do you wanna know what it is..........of course you do :-)

CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST

........yay I do love making crimbo things

I decided to make a step card......which then turned into an easel step card. I saw one once a long time ago but had no idea how to make one....so I played ;-)

Photo heavy I'm afraid...

I sooooo had fun making this & will be making more & it still folds flat to put in a box.......ok flatish because of the embellishments lol.

All items used from Noor Design UK will be in a list at the bottom with links to each item ;-)

This is looking down from the top.....I did actually colour up more images but then only used 2......my little santie went into my coloured up box.

I have used the super fantastic new die come in at Noor Design UK, its the Christmas Cottage set.........OMG I love it!!!!!! Its fab & it comes with the trees that you layer up.....I glittered it up before assembly....they are so sparkly. The stars also come with it which also got the glitter treatment. 

The house I made with Maja Design paper & I added pearls dots along the bottom of the roof.

I love reindeers, they are so so pretty so had to add them, I cut 2 out in kraft but the smaller one I sprayed with white florist spray to soften it & the other smaller one I cut out in DP.

All the paper I used as you can see got machine stitched.

The sentiment on the banner at the bottom I cut from the reverse of the Lemoncraft Paper.

I added a little fir cone to the bottom of the tree & a Scrapiniec Snowflake.

I also added one of the new Scrapiniec Bells which got a coating of white spray paint & use the Winter Text die & cut it out twice.

All the flowers I used are from Noor Design UK & I added a Snowflake underneath using a Joy Crafts die.

Here you can see the dimension & folds properly. I used Lemoncraft paper & the patterned paper is Maja Design 'A Gift For You'. The oval on the top bit is done with a Memory Box stitched die.

Magnolia stamps are......Tilda With Little Snowy Snowman (my fave stamp) & 'Pointing Tilda' which were coloured with distress markers & refills & glitter added to their hats.

New Christmas In July Release

Hi everyone I'm back today with my 2nd card for the Christmas In July Release from La La Land Crafts.

Today I have a girly card with another one of the new rubber stamps & she's my favourite ;-)

This is Winter Coat Mollie.......I lurve Mollie I think she is so pretty.......she's the type of gal that would suit anything isn't she....you know the ones that would look good even in a tetty (potato) sack ;-)

She reminds me of my daughter..........there isn't a colour that she doesnt look pretty in.

I have used the new Snowflakes Set 1 die which you get 2 dies in, I've cut them each twice & layered them up & added a scalloped pearl to the centre.

I've also added in the Lamp Post as I love that & the North Pole sign although in hindsight I should have cut it out in different paper or card as it kinda blends in too much lol....oops. Mental note taken ;-)

I have used the 3Trees die....lurve this die so much & I've cut this out 4 times laid down 2, then popped the other 2 on foam pads to give them dimension. Mollie also got the foam pad treatment to give her dimension too.

The papers I've used are Authentique 'peaceful' 6x6 pad. I've added Pom Pom trim along the bottom which I think was from Live & Love Crafts, as were the bells which got the gesso treatment. The white silky crush ribbon is from my stash.

New Christmas In July Release At La La Land Crafts

Hello everyone how are you all?

We are so excited today to show you the brand new Christmas In July release. There are 5 super gorgeous rubber stamp & a fantastic array of 10 Dies......I love them all!!!

Now aren't they just fabulous!!

Today I've used Winter Luka & made a christmas card for a male........I love making Christmas cards, it's my favourite time of year.

I soooo lurve these new dies, the list of dies used with links & colours used will be at the bottom of the post.

The sentiment here was on the inside of the cover of the paper pad I used which is Authentique 'christmas Time' 6x6 pad.... I added 2 gems to it for some extra bling ;-)

You might be able to see the glitter on Luka's hat & on his lantern.

I made a card for someone who you would prefer to give either money or vouchers too....we all have that person in our family. On one side I made a tag using paper from the pad, card & I used a bit of border die along the top....the paper I folded back up on itself at the bottom.......plenty of space to write on.

The sentiment came with this rubber stamp.

I used one of the large border dies along the bottom.....the small border die I used on the inside.

I used the Ornate Scroll Flourish die either side of the middle layer. The Icicle border die I cut twice & layered it up. The trees I also cut twice & the 2nd one I popped onto foam pads to give it some dimension.... Have you seen that North Pole die.....OMG that is my favourite........& the trees.......ok ok I love them ALL!!!!
