Noor Design UK DT Card - Vintage Love

Hello everyone, how are you all?

I'm showing a card today for the Noor Design UK Blog made with the Maja Design Vintage Romance paper........oh I love this paper.....ok ok I love ALL Maja Design....but come on whats not to love!!

I thought I would use one of the images that come with the paper as its main focus.

I love this image & I especially love the beautiful colours in this & the papers I've chosen for this card.

I cut the image out form the paper with the frame attached. I then cut out this beautiful Joy Crafts frame .......OMGoodness I love this die, I love the grandeur it adds to creations.

I then using the inner die cut out the image.......so the main image is under the die-cut, then I added the die-cut complete with white centre & then added the inner which I cut out & but popped this onto foam tape to give it dimension.........the photo below will show you better....

......here you can see the dimension it gives & the 3D type effect. In real life it really does look fabulous.

I added a Scrapiniec Brush Art Script 'LOVE' word & covered it in Shabby White Fran-Tage & added a couple of Sweetheart Blossoms ;-)

I also cut out a 'Love' postage stamp from the paper set & inked the edges with pumice stone & added a rose & a sweetheart blossom above it.

The inside I chose the paper that matched the front image........I will also add the same die-cut for a place to write.

All paper was inked at the edges with Pumice Stone & machine stitched.

I added beautiful Pleated Pearl Trim along the bottom....this really is so so pretty!!

Of course I had to add beautiful flowers, 2 fabulous leaf dies & some waxed cord, the white Tracy stocks & the purple is from my stash.

Tracy has added quite a bit of yumminess lately to her store, why not grab a cuppa & pop on over ot take a browse at what she has been adding......psst dont tell her I told you but she will be adding more soon ;-) Ssshhhh our secret ok ;-)

New Release At La La Land Crafts

Hello everyone I'm here today with my DT creation for La La Land Crafts & this week all the girls are showing you the new release......have you seen it yet?

If not I know its because you have been abducted & kept hidden away from cyber space ;-)

Well you are in luck because I will show you the new release here & show you what I made with a super duper cute stamp.

Arn't they awesome!! Oooh so hard to choose a favourite as well....

Ok I will now show which of these fabulous rubber stamps I used...

I have used 'Baby Pumpkin Luka'....isn't he so cute!! The 2 baby pumpkin's I think would also be fabulous for a baby's first halloween........little baby dressed up in a pumpkin...too cute ;-)

I used all the dies from the new release I love them ALL!!!

Sentiment at the bottom comes with the stamp.

The awesome spider wed I covered with Webby stuff & added a plastic spider in there too......well they came with the webbing so it seemed rude not to use one of them ;-)

Baby Pumpkin Luka was coloured in Copics..........yep hubster brought me some copics at the weekend & this is my first image with them. Gosh I'm so rusty but practice will make me better lol.

Colours used....

Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, R81 for the cheeks.

Hair - E29, E25, E23

Outfit, shoes, pacifier - Orange - YR02, YR04, YR09, R89, Green - YG21, YG03, YG23, YG25(inspiration from J. Dove) Grey - W7, W5, W3, W1

The 'Broom' (LOVE) I cut out twice, once in Black cardstock then again in the co-ordinating paper. I stuck just the edges of the paper down & once dry I then rounded it inside.......to give it kinda a 3D look instead of it being flat.........although these dies look awesome no matter what you do with them.

I finished off around the top with some twine. It looks fab IRL.

Paper I've used is Authentique 'Moonlit' 6x6 pad. I've stitched all around as always & matted onto black cardstock.

NOOR DESIGN UK DT CARD

Hello everyone how are you all, hope you have had a weekend of lovely weather like we have up here by the sea......its been glorious, long may it last ;-) We had a lovely weekend away.

I'm here today with my DT for Noor Design UK & I have some pink, some shabby chic & some Scrapiniec........what a perfect combination :-)

I have used the beautiful LemonCraft 'Just Love Me' papers which have had their edges inked with pumice stone, distressed & then machine stitched.........this really is such a beautiful pad. Available in 12x12 & 6x6.........I have used the 6x6.

I have added some more Scrapiniec chipboard at the side amongst the gorgeous flowers.

I've also sneaked a doily under there ;-)

I've added lots of Tracy's beautiful flowers, berries & Pomegranate Apples.......I also added a LemonCraft Button from the Just Love Me collection....it was perfect as it had a bird on it ;-)

Isn't this Lace Gwendoline just divine.......omgoodness it really is to die for, sooooo pretty.

I just had to take a close up for you.......

I used the Little Darlings Gilded Oval die to place my Scrapiniec Bird & Cage on, the chipboard was sprayed with white paint......any spray paint will do it. I also use white florist spray sometimes but its more subtle & softer, I usually use that for flowers to soften the colour sometimes.

La La Land Crafts

Hello everyone.....yayyyyy its Friday not only is it the weekend but me & my hubster are going away for the weekend just the 2 of us........I think its only ever the 2nd or 3rd time we've gone away without the family but the family couldnt make it this weekend & Natalie is away to respite for 3 days......looking forward to some quality time though.

Anyhoo I'm here today with my DT card for La La Land Crafts & this week our theme was Anything Goes...........now I did have something else planned but its been one of those weeks & didnt get time to finish it...

So here is my back-up for when all else fails lol.

No I know no image :-0 However I have used fabulous dies!! I love these dies, they are awesome for anyone getting a new doggy, which is what my card is for ;-)

The paper is Aunthentique, its called Devoted I think & perfect for our pet projects.

All layers have been machine stitched as always.

You can also see the Paw Border at the top better on this piccy.

I lurve this little dog house, its so cute!!. I also used the paw inserts to put a little blue paw print.

The grass I used Maja Design Summertime paper for that.

Inside decorated as always to co-ordinate with the front. I also added double ruffle trim along the bottom from Noor Design UK.

New Challenge At Deep Ocean Challenges

Hello everyone, back again with my 2nd post today. If you want to see my DT post for Noor Design UK scroll down.

Ok so onto my next DT post & I am back with the talented girlies over at Deep Ocean Challenges woooooo hooooooo, missed these gals.

Ok the new challenge is perfect for the time of year we are in........

SEASIDE/BEACH

..........told ya it was perfect ;-)

I made a Pop-Up box with the latest collection of Magnolia stamps & Maja Design Summertime papers.......I'm sure these collections were made for each other ;-)

On this panel I put a few flags, inked the edges with Weathered Wood distress ink & tied together with blue waxed cord & added a teeny shell ;-)

The postage stamp I cut from the Maja Design Summertime Die-Cuts. 

On this side I cut out a boat, its from a die I've barely used, I think its Die-Versions maybe...I added matching paper on part of the boat but left the sails white.

I added a Anchor & a boat steering wheel charm.

I added Seaweed inside & at the back an image cut from the Die-Cuts sheet. I also added a seahorse.

At the back I decorated it of course lol........its me, but at the last minute....after taking photo's lol, I decided to add somewhere to put a tag. I attached a bit of co-ordinating paper for the large tag. On the paper I then added a bit of Ruffled Lace trim, love this stuff, to accomodate a smaller tag.

For the tags I decided make some using Little Darlings Stitched Flags & added co-ordinating paper folded over at the top, an eyelet & some waxed cord.

The gorgeous paper I used is Maja Design Summertime 'Cute Summer Dress'.

The Magnolia stamps I used are 'Tilda In The Wind' & 'Sunbathe Tilda' from the Seaside collection.

They are coloured with distress markers & refills, Sunbathe Tilda had her dress paper pieced.
