Crafts & Me DT Card - Hannah Lynn

Good morning from me at sunny-by-the-sea....... How are we all today? Well I meant to post this card yesterday but went down Ben & Megans while hubster fixed their tumble drier, so comepletely forgot :0(

So better late than never. Now this is another image I found in my coloured box, although she was only half coloured lol..........so I finished off the wood & the rocks at the bottom & voila, here she is.....

This is a digi image from the Hannah Lynn collection over at Crafts & Me, isn't she gorgeous!!!

Have you noticed anything on my card that I normally dont add???

Yes stitching..........my hubster fitted yet another socket to my craft room so I can have my sewing machine set up permanently, she was getting really neglected. He's added the socket underneath the worktop & drilled an hole for my wires go through, it keeps it all neater on top for me.

So I've machine stitched all my papers ;0)

All flowers are from WOC & I also added some rolled ones I made with my Marianne die. The ribbon is from my stash & the lace is from LLC. 

The banner is a La La Land 'Heart Banner' & I've inked it lightly with milled lavender, although its hard to see.

I've added a 'Metal Corner' & give it fran-tage treatment with shabby white. I've also added one of these gorgeous clay hearts. The sentiment tags are Little Darlings 'Tag Alongs' & the brad I think is MME.

This lady is called 'Analinda' & she is coloured with copics. I did not write the colours down & she has been coloured up for months.

The wood however I used.......

E29, E27, E23, E21 

The rocks I used warm greys & added some green to give a mossy look.

The gorgeous paper is Pion 'purple Wallpaper' 6x6, although the middle sheet on the front is from the 12x12 full sheet, this is from Alma's Sewing Room collection. All paper has been inked with 'Pumice Stone' distress ink. I also added some corrugated card painted with Gesso & I also added gesso here & there ;0)

The dies next to the image is a Joy Crafts die which I cut in half.

Saturated Canary Challenges - Princess Reading Beauty

Hello everyone how are you all? I want to thank you all for your lovely comments lately & for sticking by me, time just seems to keep running out at ts calledhe mo lol.

Anyhoo's I'm here today with my DT card for a new challenge over at Saturated Canary & this week we have a super duper easy theme for you.............

ANYTHING GOES

.........how easy is that!! So let your creativity free & let your imagination go wild ;0)

I have had a go at making a 'Ramkort' I think its called. I brought some new LOTV stamps & on there saw Dena's Ramkort.......well it blew me away & I knew I had to have a go. 

Did not turn out quite as I had hoped but I will be making more as I enjoed making it. The tutorial you can get here & the instructions are really easy to follow ;0) If I can do it anyone can lol.

The papers are from 2 pads of Bo Bunny. The blue one is from 'Welcome Home'. I made little scrolls with scraps from the paper I used behind the image. That is from an older Bo Bunny pad

Flowers are from WOC.

Decorated inside with a complimentary paper as always.

The image is 'Princess Reading Beauty' from Saturated Canary, she is available as digi & as a rubber stamp. I have coloured this image with Copics, however I dont have the colours as I coloured this image a couple of months ago & found her in my coloured up box of images.

I fussy cut the image out & placed her on a clock die. I made a scroll for the top with some spools from LLC & the sentiment is from a sheet of Pion papers.

Midweek Magnolia's Challenge - Fancy Folds

Hello everyone how are you all? We have a beautiful sunny day here by the sea today so hubster is cutting the lawn & doing some de-weeding in the front garden before we end up with a jungle........mmm I reckon he would make a good Tarzan ;0)

Anyhoo's back to reality lol we have of course a new challenge this week over at

  Midweek Magnolia's & it is...........drum rollllllllll

FANCY FOLDS

.......yep thats right we wanna see fancy folds, whether it be an easel card or envelope card or......you get the picture dont you lol.

I took the easy option & went for an easel card, although in all honesty I did this card last week but didnt put the foofiness on & it wasn't meant for this challenge but I ran out of time so..............here it is lol.

I brought this little sweetie as soon as they were released.......yes its took me til now to ink her up. I was in my hobbit last night & found a stamp from the collection before that was still un-opened......I need putting on a ban or something..........no more goodies!!! Lets pretend that wasn't wrote ok ;0)

All of the yummy gorgeous flowers are of course from WOC. The 'Swirl' is my favourite Magnolia Doo-Hickey die.

Excuse this piccy...... The dies I've used are Go-Kreate XXL 'Scalloped Circles' & XXL 'Circles'.

The stamp is 'Cute Little Tilda' & my I think she's one of the cutest little maggies. I have coloured her with my Distress Markers as I wanted a soft look to her, this little girl cries out for soft & delicate. I have also added Shabby pink & white Fran-Tage.

The gorgeous papers are the new MME 'Lost & Found-Madison Avenue' these are sooooooo yummy they really are!! The sentiment is from my wood stamp stash & the tags are Magnolia 'Dream Tag' . The pearls are from my stash. The cute little 'Baby Clothes' die is by Memory Box from My Crafty Heart.

Ribbon, lace & doilies are from my little craft room ;0)

Feeling blue...........

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Hope you have better weather than we do, its absolutely pouring it down :0( Still the plants & lawns need a good watering ;0)

I'm here with a card that I did, I think nearly 2 weeks ago but completely forgot to blog it........dont know where my mind is these days lol. I'm not really feeling blue but my card is full of the blues ;0)

I finally inked this little lady up when I got my new markers..........

I've used 'Blue Cross Tilda' I love anything to do with crosses & angels so this was my first Magnolia stamp in the basket when this collection was released lol.

The ribbon is East Of India ribbon from my stash & I'm not sure where the coin charm is from, I cant remember. Lace is also from my stash.

I love all products by Melissa Frances including her Vellum Envelopes & Tags. However I decided to make my own Vellum Envelope & use up the abundance of vellum I have lol. I made the envelope, I scalloped the top edges I also added Shabby Blue Fran-Tage & embossed it with a butterfly folder. Then added a Magnolia tag. Quite pleased for my first attempt ;0)

The 3 blue flowers are from WOC & the rolled flowers I used a Marianne die & popped Blue Pearls inside. I've also added Gesso to the flowers.

This Tilda is of course from the Special Moments 2013 collection & I coloured her with Tim Holtz distress markers. Cannot remember the colours as this was coloured when I first had my markers so this was a practice one lol. 

The frame is Spellbinder 'Floral Oval' & I added 'Shabby Blue' Fran-Tage & also inked the edges with walnut distress ink.

As always inside is decorated. The gorgeous papers I've used is my favourite of all paper makes....

Maja Design - 'Vintage Spring' - these are from my 6x6 pad. I distressed them a wee bit & inked the edges with walnut distress ink. I also added the beautiful new Joy Crafts 'Butterfly Border' I lurve butterflies so have to get new butterfly dies & this one is a beauty!! This too also got the fran-tage treatment ;0)

Ooooh have you seen the new Magnolia Sea Breeze release Maggie fans? Mine came through my letter box on friday........oooh as soon as I saw Sir Stamp A Lot on the envelope I was beaming.....well once I had chased hubster round the kitchen table to get it off him lol. 

I also got new stamps yesterday from a different company so its not just new magnolia images you will be seeing for those of you that are not Magnolia fans ;0)

Well I'm off to do some hopping before my grandaughter arrives so will see as many as I can soon & the rest laters. Thank you soooooo much for your lovely comments especially on my Prima doll tag in the post below, it really means a lot.

Oh before I forget I've had a few emails asking me if I'm selling my copics, I am NOT selling them or giving up on them, I want to be able to colour with all different mediums my next one will be to master Prisma pencils. I love the vibrancy of copics however sometimes I want a soft delicate look & nothing does that like distress inks/markers.

My Crafty Heart Prima Doll

Hello everyone how are you all? Are you enjoying the hols? Hopefully we will keep on getting lovely weather ;0)

I'm here with another tag made using another one of the Prima Dolls & I went a bit different with this. I actually made this about 2 weeks ago when I first got my new markers & completely forgot to take pics & blog it oops!! I also have another one made which I will show another time lol.

This Prima Doll 'Stamp 4' I decided to give her a real skirt & have to say I had fun doing it & its an awesome way of using up little pieces of lace ;0)

I coloured her with distress ink markers & I also paper pieced her shoes, hairband, top & jacket. I layered her jacket up twice so the second one I made it look as though its properly open, its bit hard to see it here. Maybe if you enlarge the piccies you will see it better.

The papers I've used are Prima 'Tea-Thyme' & I also cut this tag out & stamped 2 sentiments on it & added a My Crafty Heart 'Resin Flower'. I also added a Prima 'Bird' paper clip which also got the fran-tage treatment with shabby white which you can get here. All papers were inked with walnut distress ink.

The butterfly is Prima & that also got a wee bit of the fran-tage treatment ;0)

Here is a closeup of the clothes, you can see her jacket better on this pic & also see all the layers on her skirt. All lace & ribbon is from my stash. I think I added about 6 different laces. The only thing I would do different if I did this again is make the waist smaller as I did it too big :0(

The scroll at the bottom is actually a Cheery Lynn die 'Victorian Romance Flourish' & I cut it in half. I also used a Magnolia 'Postcard' stamp at the top.

Crafts & Me Challenges - Something A Little Different

Hello everyone its absolutely gorgeous here today, I'm sitting in the conservatory with all 3 doors open & all the fans on & still its warm lol. 

Anyhoo's we have a new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this one again will be running for 4 weeks because we have a fabulous boss & she has given us DT girlies time off for the summer & to spend time with our families.........woooooo hooooooooooo, thank you Teresa shug ;0)

Ok so again we have another easy peasy challenge...........

ANYTHING GOES

............well what could be easier than that!! 

I have gone for something different today & I got the intial inspiration from our uber talented DT sister Minna...........pop on over to her blog if you wants lots of inspiration ;0)

PIC HEAVY....

I have made a wall hanging using a Silhouette digi image from Crafts & Me, I've never used a silhouette image before but they are fab for quick makes, although this still took me a few hours lol,  typical me!!

The silhouette image is called 'The Embrace' & I printed it out onto patterned paper so the background wasn't a harsh white, instead I went with a softer silvery grey.

I've used Tim Holtz 'On The Edge Butterfly' die & cut it out in the matching papers, 2 of the butterflies I layered up & I added little pink pearl hearts to each of them.

The image I also added 'Flat Backed Pearl String' around the edge, added 'White Gesso' & also sprayed the image with CC Spray 'n' Shine to give it a sheen. I give the overall finished hanging a spray after as well to give it a bit of protection.

All the flowers I sprayed with white florists spray to give them a softer tone. They are all from WOC except for the cream ones at the end which are 'White Poppies' from LLC. The lace is also from LLC & it is the 'Queen Victoria' & is absolutely gorgeous lace!!

The love heart is a rubber stamp which I've had forever I stamped it in Worn Lipstick distress ink & then layered it with UTEE & cracked it a little & then added walnut ink.

The sentiment is a Little Darlings tag stamp but I just inked up the word. I also placed a MF 'Petite Frame'. I also added a Marianne Design 'Romantic Tassel' to the flowers.

The hanger is the gorgeous Melissa Frances Decorative Hanger & this one is the '6in Flower Hanger' but Teresa has other designs & sizes in her shop HERE. I sooooo love these but I'm terrible for forgetting about them :0(

The papers I have been wanting FOREVER as I had nearly run out so would use them lol but they were being sold anymore. Well I was over at a craft store the other week buying a few bits from them (some of my often used items are from here) & I saw that they are now doing this paper collection in digi...... Well slap my thigh I got so excited I thought I would need a Tena Lady ;0)

The papers are the gorgeous Eline's House 'Roses Are Red' collection. They are in 2 parts, I've used part 1 here but I also got part 2.............so so happy ;0) I inked & distressed the edges, added Gesso here & there & added 'Cheese Cloth' behind the image.

Hope you will join us on our month long challenge, we are limiting this challenge to the maximum number of 2 entries per person. Also there may not be comments done as the DT girls are having some time off for the holidays.

My Crafty Heart DT Card - Rebecca

Hello happy crafters, well where has the sunshine gone :0( Can't complain really though as we have had gorgeous weather, the beach here has been packed!! Hopefully Mr Sunshine will come back out especially with our kiddies being on their hols now.

Anyway I'm finally here with my My Crafty Heart DT Card, doesn'y it sound funny when I put 2 'my's' hee hee.... Anyhoos' I've used a fabbylicious rubber stamp which you can get from Teresa's shop, as well as lots of other yummy goodies as well ;0)

I have used the gorgeous 'Rebecca' by the uber talented Krista of Saturated Canary, isn't she so pretty!!!

I've added Lilac seam binding & made 2 bows & added a MF 'Pearl' to the centre, one from the lilac & another from white seam binding. The lilac is from my stash but the white is from The Ribbon Girl.

I've added MB 'Chloe Stem' & Impression Obsession 'Bird Cage' dies. The bird cage I have of course Frantaged ;0) with Shabby White which you can of course get here. I've also added Prima Flowers, Prima 'Bird' paper clip, Prima 'Metal Trinket' & Prima 'Say It In Crystals'.

 The bottom of the card I've added a border on the front using MB 'Charlotte Border' die.

The image has been coloured with my Tim Holtz Distress Markers & the colours used are listed below. I added her to a frame made with Marianne Design 'Frame' & that also got the fran-tage treatment, with Shabby White & Aged-Wine.

The paers are the gorgeous Prima 'Sunrise' & I inked all the edges with Dusty Concord distress ink. I also added a doily & some 'Cheese Cloth'. The flowers I also added White Gesso to them.
