A New Type of Card with Tilda

Good evening crafters....or should I say morning as its past midnight...... I have a wee little creation tonight which I made for PFP....yes girls how early am I this week.......YAY ME!!!! I decided at 10.30 tonight that I felt like making a card & after having a mooch around to see what bits of crafting necessities I could get a hold of I decided to try something new!!! Well I thought new Tilda = new type of card.

So here she is......

This is Mermaid Tilda from the new Bon Voyage collection, isn't she just SOOOO pretty. The dots are done with Pink Petal Liquid Pearls & they represent bubbles.......

Now you have seen new Tilda here is new card......

I have to say I am really pleased with this & I thoroughly enjoyed making it!! I came across it by accident tonight & when I saw it I just had to make it straight away. The tutorial for this is here http://digitaldelightsbyloubylootutorials.blogspot.com/2010/08/tutorial-tuesday-fancy-fold-double-card.html#comments its such an easy to follow tutorial & you will really enjoy it....go on pop over......hold on not now you havn't finished the rest of my post yet!!!!! lol. The Tilda I actually coloured last week with Promarkers, so again cannot remember the colours I didn't actually make this card to go with this image it all hap by accident really. I have had new papers today so decided to use them espec as I'm limited with my stuff in boxes :-( The papers are My Minds Eye, Wild Asparagus, this is the 1st time I've used this brand & I loved the papers I was spoilt for choice by this collection. The flowers are from my stash & too the ribbons. I have followed the sketch on PFP as that is their challenge this week which has been set by the lovely Tracy. It is all there its just made smaller to fit on.

This is the inside when unfolded. The stamp was from The Papermill when I ordered some coloured card, this was half price....who can no to that!!! As I'm not sure where my stamping inks are I coloured the stamp with a bright pink Promarker. All the gems are Prima. You can actually use velcro to fasten it together but mine is in a box.........just dont know which box!!!! Thus I used ribbons & as I didnt have pink & green ribbon, I just used 2 together. The edge os the sentiment was distressed with Crushed Olive distress ink.

Now I said in my earlier post I would put some pics on of my craft room, you know the working project lol. Well I forgot to take new pics today & now its too dark so here are a couple from yesterday.....today I actually have a roof.......WOO HOOOOO

Well here is my craft room, or should I say what was my craft room!! You can just see the benches at the back & side & the shelves that my stamps sat on, you can also see my wood burner. Where the fresh wood side is on the right by the blue plastic is how much its getting extended.....I drive a Renault Traffic van & I could fit that in there.....its mahoosive!!! All the stuff at the back on the bench is the wall insulation from the wall they have took down, I think they got it down by lighting a big, huge, mahoosive BOMB!! At least by the mess you wud think so lol.

You might be able to tell better on this pic how much bigger it gonna be......I'm getting SOOO excited now mind lol. The man in the grey vest is my wonderful hubby & the 1 next to him is my step-brother, they have just fitted a new bigger window.

This is where the explosion has extended to my garden.......I think I've got some cleaning & tidying up to do lol, still it will certainly be worth it!!

Come Into The Dark-Side............

Hello there peeps, yes I've managed to do a little card in-between making cuppa's, cleaning,washing & helping the men with little things on my craft-room....not that I can do much lol but I can stain the wood..................YAY GO MEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Today I received a few goodies that I had on order some from Bunny Zoe, 1st time I've ordered from there & I have to say that I love it.....I did spend quite a bit but no-where near as much as I could of!! Well it was the new Magnolia's they were literally screaming at me 'Plzzzzz buy us.....we lurrrvvvveee you Vickyyyyyy, plzzzzz let us come home with to you.' Well come'on how can I resist that whilst lokking at their ikkle faces...... Do you know what I told my hubby this story & he didn't believe me whatsoever.......blooming shocking I thought it was quite convincing.................maybe!!!! ;-)

Anyway on to my card....well do you recognise the boots above. 'These boots will keep on walking thats just what they'll do....sorry peeps I starting singing......bet the tune is stuck in your head now tee he he. These boots ladies & gentlemen belong to this cool & sexy woman....

Isn't she just sensational!!!! This image is from none other than Kenny K, its his new line of Digi images Gothik Angelz & this 1 is called Lady Raven. As soon as I heard about these I went straight over to buy 1.......ok ok I brought 4 but they needed my help!!!!!!!!!

Here is the card I made for her to sit on....stand,crouch...well whatever.....

The challenge over at Kenny K's is the 'On The DarkSide'. I have used papers from K&Co's big collection, the front & back had their edges distressed with Black Soot & Victorian Velvet distress inks. These are the only papers I can find at the mo & I've kept my inks,pens & Prisma's out so I can still at least colour images whilst everything is packed away.

This is the inside which will get panels stuck to them but I cant get to my cuttlebug at the mo.... its in a box!!!!

The red paper she is on is the m iddle from a doilie & then sprayed with Red Firefly cosmic shimmer....which arrived thru my letterbox this morn. Behind this sits another doilie with skull & crossbones on. Now when I ordered these off a shop on Ebay they sent cupcake cases instead by mistake, when I told them of this mistake they immediately sent out the doilie's but told me to keep the cases as their way of saying sorry for the mishap.. Well today I finally used 1, I cut the bottom out of the case, scrumpled it up a bit, sprayed it with CC Spray & Shine(new tin arrived today lol) & then stuck a gem in the middle to make a flower...I think it looks ok really. I dont actually have any black ribbon so I cut the ribbon off a top, you know the ones that go on the coat-hanger when hanging but when wearing annoy you cus they keeping popping out of your top.....grrrrr, damn things!! Obviously this Raven is coloured with Promarkers, can't really remember the colours as I did her last week as soon as I got her....sorryyyyy.

I think thats it peeps for now just gotta go link this up, I hope you like it & I REALLY hope it makes up for my last card YUK!! Altho lovely Sue over at PFP did put it in her top 5....so for that I thank you SOOOO much > coming your way hunni. A-Round Card

Hello there all you lovely jubbly crafters, how are you are doing?......Well this is again a really really quick post its after midnight & me wants to go peepies.....that sounds like I want go wee...no no no I want go beddy byes.....you know up wooden hills to bedfordshire.....except I have no hills I live in a blooming bungalow!!! Shall I get on with my card.....yeah I think I should lol. I have made this card for PFP whose theme is green, now initially the last 2 days I decided not to make a card & to miss this weeks challenge completely.......really really sorry girls for thinking that!!!!! The reason is that my hubby.....might I add my FANTASTIC hubby is building an extension on my craft room (hobbit) I am running out of room so he's building me some more room lol....I know I am SO SO lucky, I love him to bits....well I should I've been with him since I was 15 years old & I'm now (counting on my fingers.....)..........38....sssshhhhh dont shout it, I dont want every1 hearing you!!! However even tho my plans were NOT to do a card I got itchy fingers & withdrawal symptoms.....honestly I've only missed PFP once & it was terrible...just terrible. So with VERY limited supplies cus EVERYTHING is boxed up,packed away & scattered all over the blasted bungalow.....I didn't realise I had so much stuff!!!! Anyway here is my card...an easel card with a difference...... This did not quite turn out to plan but it was made within an hour, with limited supplies & it was my 1st time doing a round 1.....you would think I would keep it simple being without a lot of my stuff.........ner not me( I'm knocking on my head now.............HARD).

All the papers are K&Co which I think are scrummy & the bottom stamped image is Lili Of The Valley. The other 2 images are from colouring pages on the internet & the big circle was also distressed with distress ink & all edges distressed with my scissors. The vase

of flowers are supposed to be black & white & then another image coloured in put over the top with 3D foam squares but cutting the image shorter so that some of the black & white image is seen on the edges. It all didn't go quite accordingly to plan but never mind.........sometimes it works that way doesn't it.....

Well thats it from me, it was sort of short....I am gonna take my sleepy head to my pillow now. Nitey nite peeps, you all take care hope you like my card, I would LLLUUUURRRRVVVVEEE to hear from you if you have a little spare time. Thankyou to all that visit, big big hugs for each & every1 of you.

My Altered Creation

Hello peeps hope you are all fine & dandy. This is gonna have to be a really quick post cus its nearly 1 0'clock in the morn & I'm tired & running really late tonight. I'm running late cus we have had family up from Manchester & over from Australia.....really worth running late for it was fab seeing every1. Anyway onto this creation I have made an altered book which is actually a 1st for me, I've never altered anything to be honest!! I brought some LOTV stamps last week so thought I would ink this image up & use this on my book cus she is so cute & it sort of fit the theme.....altho none of this project has actually gone to plan, but I will try harder next time. Here is the image....

Isn't she adorable wearing her mummy's hat & shoes along with her bag as well, she even has everyhting colour co-ordinated.....thats my kind of girl lol. She is of course coloured with Promarkers & the nestie that she is on is distressed with Worn Lipstick distress ink.

This is the front of the book. All of the papers used are from K&Co & they have been distressed with my little distressing tool. The flowers, ribbon & buttons are from little shops on Ebay & the love heart is from my jewellery stash.

This is the inside of the book, the middle has been cut out & all the pages glued together around the edge. It has been covered in K&Co paper again which has been distressed with Worn Lipstick ink & Tumbled Glass ink. The idea is that Mummy has made her little girl a secret treasure trove inside a book which is just hers. There is little charms & chains & flowers & pearls, all the things that little girls love. All of which is from my jewellery making stash. There is even a mini bag & hat in there.

This is the front & back & for the edges I used the paper which I cut out of the middle, I inked them up again with Worn Lipstick. I have put all the rest in a container cus I know it will come in handy for other creations.

This is the inside back cover which I thought once it was covered in paper it should be left like that. This book is going to sit on my daughters dressing table when her bedroom is re-decorated. I initially made this project for PFP whose theme is Distressing, well there is certainly plenty of that on this lol. A male card

Good morning.....well only just morning lol. I made a card last night cus I had to wait for bits of my PFP creation to dry & yes you have read the heading right 'a male card'. I know I dont like doing them I've hardy made any & I really do struggle with them but I saw this stamp & had to buy it straight away, its just brill I love it lol!!

Here is my card....

Doesn't he look fab he is the typical bloke....my dad every morning would take the newspaper to the loo with him & do the crossword lol. It helped him concentrate I think lol.....maybe men really do have poops for brains lol, only kidding, my hubby will kill me lol. The stamp is from La Pashe & it comes with the sentiments.

I dont know any1 who takes a pint in the loo with them tho.....YUK

This is the inside of the card, I think this is what made me like this stamp to be honest was the fact to saw the back of him as well lol. The inside papers are from K&Co & I have distressed the edges with vintage photo & the middles were cut using 1 of my nestabilities thru my Cuttlebug.

The toilet roll also came with the stamp which I stamped with Stazon & distressed it with vintage photo. The main images were stamped with Memento onto Premier quality smooth card & coloured with Promarkers. The card you can get from here http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=32185 its good card especially for Promarkers, no bleeding which is brill & it even goes thru my Epom printer for when I want do Digi Images.....what more could I ask for!!!

This is the front & back of the card, the papers have been distressed with my distressing tool from Mr Tim Holtz, the paper is from the Paper Cellar. I have put ribbon under the image, I dont normally use ribbon on mens cards but this could actually be used for both sexes I think, The buttons are from my stash, I always struggle with bellies on Mens cards, its the decorating I find the hardest!! The sentiments came with the stamp of course & I again distressed them with vinatge photo.

This card was made for a few challenges including I love Promarkers whose theme is buttons. Well thats it folks will be back later with another post......I know I've never done so much crafting in so little time, but I'm not gonna knock it cus 'I'm lovin' it'(she says singing out loud & getting weird looks from her son's friend he he he,good job he knows she is loopy lol)

EMMA'S DT CALL........

Hi peeps no project to post at the minute, hubby has not took pics yet. This post is about Emma's DT Call. My Rolling Saturday Night....part 2

Hi its me agin he he he....I hope you liked my 1st card. My 2nd one is I think my fave 1 out of the 1s I made last night, I used Butterfly Keeper from www.craftsandme.co.uk, she is gorgeous & I inked her & coloured her as soon as she popped her head thru my letterbox, unfortunately it was about 2 weeks ago so cant actually remember the colours I used.....sorrrrrryyyyyyy. Here she is........

I love the colour of her hair altho I dont know why I did it these colours but I'm so glad I did I think she can carry off bold colours.........

The papers are from Basic Grey & they are called Kioshi, I love these papers, I love the colours mmwah bellisimoooo..... I have done this card for the Crafts & Me challenge which is a sketch. The sentiment is computer generated I made a few up last night & printed them off, the organza ribbon is from my stash, I've had it for so so so long & the butterfly charm is from my jewellery stash. The butterfly is of course Martha Stewart which has been inked up in Lavender Mill & had a sprinkling of glitter & 2 gems from my stash & I've also used MS punch for the middle paper & then inked the edges with Lavender Mill distress ink. The butterfly on the image I covered in transparent Gloss Gel but unfortunately it doesn't show up very well in the pics.

My rolling Saturday night

Hi there peeps hope you are all having a fab weekend. I am gonna keep this post short as I have 3 to do & I dont want to bore you......yes you heard right 3, I was on a roll & decided make the most of it. I decided at 10.30pm last night that I wanted to craft I had been in pain again all day so didn't do anything.....so away I went to my hobbit & I didn't resurface until 2.30am & I made 3 cards. I'm also on doing a project for PFP but I'm only half way throught it as I had to wait for sprays & inks to dry last night.......its something I've never done before so check back later when hopefully it will be finished. Last night I brought 2 Kenny K images they are fab & I really enjoyed colouring this 1 in, I followed the sketch on their blog but then when I looked this morn it ended at 8pm DOH!!! I really sgould read things......oh well never mind I still enjoyed making it. Here is my 1st card from last night.....

She is called All That, it actually reminds me of me when I would go out clubbing when those hats were the height of fashion a few years ago, she just needs belly button piercing & a tattoo above ......I have quite a few of those hats actually & even tho I dont wear them I wont throw them either lol.

The flowers I made a few weeks ago & to be honest I cant remember the colours I used, it was pure accident that they matched this I was actually looking for something else when I found these lol.

There is a challenge that this card fits, well I hope it does anyway. Its Sketch & Stash, my neglected is the flowers I made, me new is the Digi Image, wish me luck!!!

Pretty in Pink

Hello all you lovely lovely crafters, hope you are all fine & dandy!! I am great I absolutely luuurrrrvvvvveeee the 6 weeks hols, honestly I really do if I could teach my kiddies at home they wouldn't even go to school lol.....altho they probs wouldn't learn that much......well howay its me!!!! I have been a terrible blogger this last week & barely been on blogland.....BUT.....I will make it up to you I will visit all of you over the weekend & post a few creations.......well I will certainly try to post a few....

Right letz zee what iz on ze menu toooday.. ....isn't my French accent great????? he he he.....I'm not on drugs I promise.........lol. Anyway as I was saying on ze menu is of course a ickle creation from moi & what I consider to be most important I will be welcoming some new followers.....LOOK 21 FOLLOWERS CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ME SOOO SOOO HAPPYYYYYYY. So without further ado here is your 1st course............

Don't they look pretty in pink.......to be honest, I'm goona blame it on been ill but I think my Mojo kinda pissadeared oops, thats my French again....so sorry ;-). 1st it was the colouring then it took me ages to pick papers then decide where to put things & dont even get me started on the bellies, ribbon & flowers...................Anyway after what seemed like an eternity it sort of finally came together. Now most....actually ALL of the bellies were of course off Ebay at some point lol, so too were the flowers. The sentiment is computer generated & the pink pearl bead in the corner was from my jewellery stash & I threaded some silver wire through it. The bottom paper I really cant remember who its from but the top 2 are from Magnolia, 1 is 'Angel Dots' from the Once Upon A Time collection & the 1 underneath that is 'Angel Love' from the same collection. This is only the 2nd time I've used Magnolia papers but I'm addicted already.

I love this stamp but it has took me weeks to ink it up & actually make a card & unfortunately I cant remember the colours altho the pink I think is baby pink??? The bride's dress has little bits of pink on to create shadowing etc but most of it is covered in Lace Stickles which I do think looks pretty. I also toned down the pink with my blender pen I also found it helped blend it all in better. I didn't actually make this card for anything but I may have a peekskie around to see if it will fit in any challenges. Hope you like it, I would be sooo happy to hear your views, good or bad I really dont mind.....

Well onto the 2nd course.....my lovely jubbly followers.....please welcome 2 new ladies who I think are FAB, welcome Denise who is blog owner of PFP....Love that challenge blog, you should go over cus they have a fab candy up for offer, see my sidebar at the top.....go on girls you wont be dissapointed. Kickin' It For Michelle - Sending Donkey Smiles

Hello there every1 I'm running rather late tonight so this for the 1st time in the history of blogging (I'm now coughing my lung up for saying this in a deep voice) will be a quick post.... yes I said QUICK!!!! lol. I've been very ill the last few days I will be glad when my appointment comes through for the hospital but never mind, also last week was my dad's memorium so had a rough week......... but I'm back now with a little creation for Michelle. I'm sure you have all heard about poor Michelle's accident & her love for donkey's, as this is a quick post please go to http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/http:// to find out more....they have a great card drive on for her. Everyone is sending her get well wishes, there has been a lot of very beautiful cards made however I thought I would be a bit different.....trust me to have to be different lol. Anyway us crafters I think are very kind & thoughful people so I'm quite sure Michelle will want to say a few thankyou's when she feeling better, I thought I would try help out & made her this.... Its a little box, naturally with a donkey on, its decorated on the front with a sentiment saying 'You're special', just to remind her that she IS SPECIAL......take a look inside....

Inside is 6 little thankyou cards & envelopes that each have a donkey on & they each say thankyou, inside has been left blank so Michelle can write whatever she needs to inside.

Here are the 6 cards & box. I really hope she likes it, I will make her a card to match as well but with been poorly I didn't have time so I will get the card done tomorrow. I needed to post tonight because I'm also entering this into PFP challenge which is Animals set by the lovely Julie, you should go over & see the DT cards....absolutely FAB as always!!! So this I'm entering there, I hope they like this 1......wish me luck......

This is the front of the box I thought I would finish it with a ribbon around it & a bow. It is propped up with my box lid which contains all the promarkers I used on this project, I dont think I've ever used so little......I normally dont like doing animals as I'm still not used to them & yet I did 7......dont figure lol!!!!! Well thats it peeps untill tomorrow....well it was sort of short...................ish!!!!

Hello there peepies hope you are all fit, well & dandy, I am altho with a pinch of loopiness in there as well......nowt new really lol!!! 1st of all I would like to welcome my 2 new followers.... gosh I really do get so excited when I get new people following me I always tell my hubby, I'm so proud you know....well to me I think its an honour.....anyway welcome Heidi & Moshie, thankyou for becoming followers of my blog huge hugs to you both<>. I was working away last night in my ickle hobbit making a card for the Crafts & Me challenge......but its took me til now to get it posted. I actually did finish it last night...altho at 1 point I did throw it up a corner & huff & puff for a bit, my mojo had what-do-ya-call-it --ssed off....mind my french!!!! I sat on my stool & just sat there looking around my hobbit.......it was then that I spied something that made me pick up my card & carry on to get it finished. FEATHERS........ha ha I've got 4 big tubs of them but always forget about them so this is the 1st time I've actually used them........The papers I've had for SOOO long I cant remember what they are called but they are lush & I'm glad I found them as again these were something I forgot I had too lol. The challenge over at Crafts & Me is Black,Pink & Grey with a touch of white. These papers fit in perfect. I have used 1 of my sweet pea stamps....I've had this 1 for some time but only now finally coloured her & put her on a card....I love Sweet Pea stamp, I've just ordered the new Butterfly Keeper & Adrianna & FINALLY..... I've been after Poppy Love for ages but it has always been out of stock but they finally have it in yippppeeeeeeeee.....I cant wait til they arrive.....pleeeeeease mr postie, dont be late!!!!!!! Anyway here is my stamp she is called Seeing Through & she is sooo pretty,I love colouring these in mainly cus they are soo different to other stamps. I could not decide what colour to do her hair......black & grey or 2 tone pink.....pink won..... Gems were added all around the paper she is on to had that bit of bling.....pink bling of course lol. The punched paper at the bottom is none other than my MS punch which I had for my birthday & the butterflies is from my Itonics punch (I think thats what its called anyway) I got it from Hobbycraft the other week & I finally came to use it the other day & it wouldn't work ggrrrrrr..... Hobbycraft is quite a journey from us so it would of cost as much to take it back so I was just gonna buy a new 1 off the net.....that is until my clever hubby got his hands on it...he took it apart & not it works like a dream what a clever handsome thing he is.......they are usefull for some things lol. I coloured the butterflies with my baby pink Promarker & then covered it in fine glitter & then added 3 gems to the middle for there body & curled there wings a bit to make them more prominent. Naturally Seeing Through has been coloured with my Promarkers, I couldn't use any other medium on Sweet Pea stamps. Did you notice then.......ITS NOT AN EASEL CARD lol, altho it nearly was but I thought I might be getting a bit posessed by easel cards.......goign......he he hee that was meant to say going but it tickled me the way I'd typed it.....he he hee simple minds n all that!!!!!lol Eeeee well thats it for me for now folks but you never know I may be back later with another creation.....so watch this space......but only if you have thetime lol. Halloween Tilda & Edwin...'oooo ooo' spooky, scary

Good evening crafters hope you have all had a fabulous weekend. Well I've spent a good few hours in my hoobit today.. hoobit what the blooming hell is that??? I mean HOBBIT lol. Anyway I'm doing a different kinda post tonight (pinching tips off the lovely Coops sshhh dont tell her tho) Anyway I have wrote down all the colours I have used to colour in my images.....you know just incase you want to know........etc etc lol. Over at PFP this week is the lovely Crafty Emma, there is a post below this 1 about her shop... this is not a hint move your bums & go have a look.......its about SHOPPING.....yeah thought that would get your attention!!!! Anyway again the challenge is 'Give us a laugh'.......mmm I've nearly blown every damn fuse in my poor ickle brain!!!!! Last week I did my 1st baby card & well this week I've done another 1st.....WOH look at me being smarty pants he he he....I have done an Halloween card because my lovely hubby brought me 10....yes 10 new Magnolia stamps & I got a few Halloween 1s just cus they are adorable....I had these for my birthday which was on Thursday....OMG I'm 38....ah who blooming cares, I truly believe age is just a number & you can be any age you want....unfortunately I havn't aged beyond 10 yet.....mentally that is, the body has a blooming mind of its own.....DAMN IT!!!! Well enough of that here is my 1st Halloween card..... I am really pleased with how it has turned out, you know when you get that picture in your head of what your finished card will look like........yeah well this is NOT my picture, honestly I dont know where this came from..... never mind its cool lol. Here is Edwin doesn't he look quite debonair as Draculaaaaaaa.....he even has gold stickles on his spear....well he is posh as well lol. Here is cutie Tilda who just looks incredibly adorable...she is supposed to have a pumpkin next to her leg but I thought I would cover it up with a pumpkin button instead. I brought a load of buttons off this seller on Ebay ages ago & there was a mixture of everything.....she was giving up her crafting!!!!!! UNTHINKABLE!!!!! but it meant I got a few bargains lol. Tilda of course needs her sparkle so she has diamond stickles on her socks & on the frill around her dress.....I think its the diamond 1 I cant really remember I have a few that are quite similar in colour.....I know I'm useless ;-(

You know I love my easel style card....you can fit more on them!!!! The sentiment is computer generated, I just hope it fits the challenge over at PFP & hopefully at least make them smile, possibly a ickle giggle...maybe!!! On the corners of the sentiment are 2 buttons, a sweet & of course to collect your sweets you need a bag. Next to the sentiment is a wand hanging from a chain, well she will want to cast a spell (trick) on people who pretend are not in!!!!! I like this sentiment & best of all it is very very true!!! We do teach our children never to take sweets off strangers & then encourage them once a year to go 'trick-a-treating'..........DOH!!!! They enjoy it though dont they...

Here is my card in all its glory. The haunted house is actually embossed through my cuttlebug. I got the emboss board about a month ago so its nice to finally use it. I embossed it on white card & then chalked all over it with black & white chalk to make it grey, I put a bit of yellow chalk on the moon & accented parts of the house with black chalk to make it more prominent & the bats I used black stickles to make them stand out more. The other bat, ghost & halloween sign are all from my stash of buttons. Flowers, stars & gems are also from my stash. The papers are from Magnolia....also for my birthday lol.... They are from the So Spooky collection, the black paper on the top is called 'Black Dot' & the paper on the bottom is called 'Halloween Star'. Its the 1st time I've used Magnolia papers but I will DEF be buying more they are lovely to work with. All paper & card have had all the edges distressed with which I used my rotary tool....I have ordered a propper distress tool, a Tim Holtz 1. Also the card was distressed & inkdistressed with black ink before adding any papers, I wanted the edges to look distressed & dark to blend in better. I had money for my birthday as well so you can guess what that has gone on cant you!!!!!! ol. Well I think thats it folks I'm no longer trying to do short posts cus it never works out I just gab on endlessly......I will say sorry tho yet again lol oops!!!! Thank you for having the time to look at my creations you have no idea how much it really does mean to me.......huge big hugs to each & every1 <> mmwah. TTFN hunni's.

Edwin coloured with Distress Inks

Hello all you lovely crafters. Well I'm afraid I've not been on much this week I've been rather glued to Sky News watching all this about Raoul Moat......all of us up here in Northumberland are not used to anything like this happening so its had people anxious & to some people excited at the same time (I find that a bit strange lol). I for 1 is glad its all over, it will be nice not to have to listen to police cars & police helicopters flying over all the time. I bet the soaps have took a hit this week there has been more excitement here in the North East never mind Eastenders..... altho I have to admit I dont watch any soaps of any kind.....I'm more of a Simpsons & Top Gear kind of gal lol. Anyway blah blah blah....I will get on with what I've made I'm actually surprised I even managed to make a card but it honestly only took me half an hour it really was just a quickie (that doesn't include painting Edwin tho). I have used Distress Inks on Edwin.....this is my 1st card with an image using inks!! I am quite pleased with myself altho I know I need a lot more practice......actually compared to lot of others out there who use inks for their images mine must look.......s.h.i.t.e......lol, can I say that word on here?????LMAO!!! Anyway here is my inky dinky card with inky dinky Edwin.......this heat is frying my brain cells so please ignore the stupidness lol. The base paper at the bottom is from my big K&Co stack & I'm sorry but I cant remember where the others are from :-( sorrrrrryyyyy!!!! The bellies I got them from Arty Miss altho I got them over a year ago when I first went into card making but got bored after 2 weeks!!! My God how could I do such a thing????? well in my defence your honor I was ermmmmm.................... CRAP!!!! Honestly I really was & I'd not even heard of stamps & Promarkers & all the other wonderful, exciting things.......now when I see crafts I think I'm in heaven surrounded by Gods beautiful craft creations lmao........I do droan on dont I??????lol The sentiment is from a stamp in my stash, its actually got a whale on as well but I chopped him off......the little bugga was a fighter mind!!!!! lol Here is a close-up of my ickle dude here......doesn't he look peaceful away from us women & pondering about life's little incidentals maybe.............honestly brain is fried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually while typing this I'm stuffing my face on a Cornetto mmmmm strawberry, I lurrrrrvvvveee strawberries he he he. Now this card like my other 1 on my other blog is again just for fun & not for any challenges......I'm not great at doing male cards as you know they are not quite my forte but the only way I can possibly get better is to make more so TA DAAAAAAA here I am doing more!!!! Say hello to baby Hanglar

Well I'm his week is back again but this time with something I've made...... I realised this week that there are a lot of cards I've NEVER made.......hey I'm still a newbie lol thats my excuse anyway lol. One of the many type of cards I've never made is a baby card.....well over at PFP their challenge this week which has been chosen by the lovely Denise is 'Think of a number'....well after a little bit of thinking I thought I could sort of combine the 2...a number with a baby card, well actually its baby's 1st birthday but its close to a baby card, well you cant really get much closer lol. I have used my new Hanglar & Stanglar stamps which I got off ebay last week, they took a few days to come tho as they had to come from Sweden.....but it was SO worth the wait, I really couldn't wait to play with them. So here is a close up of my baby Hanglar stamp, isn't she so pretty..... I have of course used my Promarkers to colour her in, which is Baby pink & lilac stripes. Yes I have made yet another easel card......I'm sorry I'm addicted & also my idea for the challenge needed an easel card as you will soon see. The flowers & gems are from my stash & the sentiment is computer generated & I just coloured it in with Pink Promarkers. The stick on paper ribbon I've had for ages....I think I originally got it from Artymiss.co.uk.....I think lol!! Here is my easel card.........I really am quite pleased how this turned out, the top half is longer than the average easel card but when I tried the number 1 on a standard easel card it didn't look right so I made it bigger & then cut out the middle. The papers are from a K&Co mat pad called Hopscotch....they were the closest I had to baby papers, my mental note is now to get some lol. The baby sentiment & the bow are on the Hanglar baby stamp & I just coloured them in accordingly. I used some gingham paper from my stash at the bottom & used my Martha Stewart lattice punch, this has to be my fave punch. The large number 1 I did myself & the small number 1 is computer generated. Well I think thats it I'm off now to see what other challenges I can enter it into & to link it up at PFP........then sit & wait for the new challenge on Tuesday!!!!
