Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello again, I know I'm like the bus service.....you dont see me for a week (I think lol) then 2 in 1 day.....

This time I'm here with my DT card for Deep Ocean Challenge.....if you would like to see my mixed media card for Noor Design UK either scroll down or click here ;-)

ANYTHING NEW

Ok so if you read this mornings post you will know about my hand.......well luckily this card has been done for a few days & I had just finished putting the flowers on on Friday night before my hand kinda broke on the Saturday morning lol....ok not broke broke but not well lol.

So for my anything new I have made a baby card with some new things I had off santie ;-)

Now this image has been coloured up since last summer........yep Sitting Tingla by Magnolia has sat in my coloured images box for a long time.....dont worry though she is NOT alone & some have been there a LOT longer lol.

She was stamped onto my favourite paper here & coloured with distress ink markers & refills.

I added stickles to her dummy (pacifier) & the heart on her onesie.

I found this little cutie on Ebay last year & got quite excited, coloured her up immediately.....then put her in a box lol....

The papers are of course Maja Design Vintage Baby......my favourite baby papers but not just for babies ;-) I inked & distressed the edges & then machine sewn them.

I also cut 2 tags to add in as well, added eyelets & seam binding.

I fussy cut around the little girl & just glued the edges down so that the tags had somewhere to slide in. I also stamped around the edge of the white card with a postage stamp by Magnolia & added a Pacifier die-cut in the top corner.

The Bottle die-cuts, the Baby wording & the little Duck thingy-ma-jig is from Joy Crafts One Of A Kind Baby Set dies......this I had off hubby for crimbo.

The doily was cut out using a Cheery Lynn die.

Another new thing on the card is the gorgeous pink Chiffon Rose With Pearl Lace going down the side.......I got a few gorgeous laces.....oh I lurve lace :-)

The bow was made using Magnolia Bride Bow die. In the top corner I added a spool from my stash & attached the sentiment which I cut form the bottom of a 12x12 sheet of Maja Design paper.

There is a Corner die in the other corner which is this one & the pretty flowers & Cheesecloth are from Noor Design UK.

Image was cut out using Memory Box Stitched Ovals.

Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone how are you all?

 Well we have a new challenge over at Deep Ocean this fortnight & the theme is........

SILENT NIGHT

.......perfect for those last minute crimbo makes we have.

This is a card I made for my special auntie & uncle who live down Stoke & who I love to bits, its ok Mr Postie has delivered it now, so I can say who its for lol. )

I've used the gorgeous Pion Design Night Before Christmas papers, I love these papers, especially the golds......all papers have been machine stitched as always & also distressed a teeny bit. You can of course get this collection from Noor Design UK.

Just peeking out you can see the doily die I've used again, this time I cut it out in kraft.........Im addicted to this die lol.

The clock is form the paper collection & I punched it out then added a self adhesive cabochon. I also added a rose & a pomegrante apple.

I love this gold ribbon, I also have this ribbon in red which is gorgeous too. The bling in the centre is from Noor Design UK & I added a charm there too.

The lace is from my stash & I added more flowers either side of the window.

The window is Scrapiniec Royal Window 02......I love these!! I have covered the window in glitter to make it sparkle....you might just be able to see it.....hopefully....be quick though as its shy ;-)

Under the window I cut the tree image from sheet 'Just A Peek' & then fussy cut out the door & the 2 children to place on top to the side of the window with foam pads.

As always the inside is decorated to compliment the front, I've also added lace to the inside. 

Thats it from me. I have got to take my youngest to pick up his car from the garage. We brought him his first car last month but it had to go have new bearings put in yesterday......he's just learning though so hubby will sit in the car with him on the way back......means I can have my music louder on the way back hee hee ;-)

Noor Design UK Challenge DT Post

Hello everyone, can you believe its been a month since the last challenge begun......where are the days going........I have soooooooo much shopping to do still...

Anyhoo less babble now ;-) Our new challenge over at Noor Design UK this month should fit any of those crimbo cards/projects we still have left to do......I still have a few to do lol.

SPARKLE

.........actually even non crimbo have sparkle.......we all sparkle dont we hee hee. Super duper easy challenge dont you think ;-)

I made another lollipop card.....this one however stayed as a lollipop card as they are so darn cute & I love making them ;-)

I have used my favourite papers, stamp, embellies........ok the list can go on here lol. 

All links to items used will be at the bottom of this post.......except my new die but will explain that in a bit.

Tracy recently added........much to my excitement, cinnamon sticks & bells.......yessssssss.

Can you see the little flowers there...........guess what i Made them with Foamiran. I made these a few days ago & since I have won a flower making class by the unber talented Lady E..........OMG I love this lady's creations........I want to be as talented as she is when I grow up lol.

Truth be known I dont want to grow up lol.

Have you seen these cute little tree's.........they are from the latest Magnolia Doohickey club kit Volume 12..... I sprayed them with glue & then smothered them in glitter........only because the challenge wanted sparkle, or I wouldnt have added it pmsl.......yeah right like I need an excuse to add sparkle pmsl.....

Some more foamiran flowers made by ickle me.

This I made monday along with a few other flowers that I cant decide whether they are roses or carnations but I feel quite proud of them.......... I didnt follow any tutorial & just played. The bottom layer of the poinsettia (the leafy bit_ I also gave the sparkle treatment.......it looks lush in real life!!

This is the reverse side of the Lollipop so nothing gets squashed I made a pocket for tags, I'm still quite proud I came up with this idea ;-) Can you see the doily............that is my new die, not new out just new to me. Its a Cheery Lynn Doily die & I LOVE IT!!! You may see this lots.

The magnolia stamps on the front are from the Aspen collection & I coloured them with distress ink refills & markers. The bow is also a magnolia die. You can also see the lace better here, how pretty is that.........

Ok I've babbled on & on & on &............now I'm gonna hush my buttons so you can first go & see the rest of the fabulous creations here & second............go make a creation & enter as we love to see your wonderful creations.
