Deep Ocean Challenge and Midway Reminder for Midweek Magnolia's

Hello everyone how are you all? I'm here with a card for 2 of my DT challenges today, I spent yesterday afternoon at the hospital discussing a new test I have to have but because of my symptoms I've got have a dummy test first to make sure there is less risk of things going wrong.

Anyway without boring you more I will tell you of the challenges. Well we have a brand new challenge over at Deep Ocean & its one of my faves & super easy.........

I have used my most favourite Pion papers, I love this collection that much I always cry a little when cutting it lol. Its called 'My Precious Daughter 6x6' & I've inked all edges & machine sewn as always.

This is the inside before putting something in to write a message on. Isn't the paper just so divine, in the top corner it reads 'My precious daughter a gift of love'.........perfect for any daughter.

I've added gorgeous 'Tulle Pleat Trim' & 'Shabby Ruffle Trim' & added 'Flat Backed Pearl String' along the top.

I made a double bow with 'Shabby Seam Binding' & added a 'Clay Heart' to the centre. I also added an 'Angel Tag' charm under the bow which is just so pretty. I added 'White Gesso' to highlight parts of the charm.

The Magnolia stamp is one from the Zodiac collection which has finally got inked up. This one is 'Pisces Tilda' which has been coloured with Copics & had 'Liquid Pearls' added.

I've used a Marianne 'Anja's Border' die & Magnolia leaves from the 'Swirl & Leaf' die. All the WOC flowers are from LLC, I also added 'Kort & Godt Rolled Roses' all with added Gesso. The sentiment at the bottom I actually cut from the strip along the bottom of the Pion sheet saying what collection it is, recycling at its best. I distressed the edges & inked them a little, added a 'Seashell' to one side & a Pearl Heart from my stash to the other side.

Bunny Zoes Challenges DT Card - Bingo

Hello all you lovely jubbly people around the world, how are you? I had a lovely weekend with my family, went for a bike ride with my eldest on Saturday night, we did over 8 miles.......I was quite pleased with myself. Thank you so much for the encouraging messages you really did put the smile back on my face.........mmwah, you rock!!!

Okie doke so today we have a brand new challenge over at Bunny Zoes & this month our lovely Karina has made a bingo board as the challenge........

Please choose 3 elements from the above Bingo card.  They can be chosen vertically, horizontally or diagonally.  If you are feeling adventurous why not try to incorporate them all!

I felt adventurous & did the whole board, well it is me lol. 

The papers I have used an older Marianne pad, I have inked the edges with walnut & Machine stitched all around them as always. This was the first card I did last week when I got my new sewing machine so some of it is isn't perfect on the zigzag as I wanted to the edging on the top layer.

The bottom lace is from my stash & the top one is an older Marianne lace. The rolled flowers are Kort & Godt. The doily is from Live & Love Crafts.

For the embossing I did both, I added shabby white fran-tage to the Key Charm & I also put the Magnolia's 'Lovely fence' through a Woodgrain embossing folder & then inked it up to distress it & make it look....fencey ;0)

This utterly gorgeous image is of course a Whimsy Stamp image called 'Maya', oh I soooooooo love all images by Sylvia Zet & I've been neglecting them lately :0( This one & the other new I coloured up about 2 weeks ago & really enjoyed colouring them. They are coloured with copics, colours used below.

The frame around the image is a new Marianne die called Petra Circle & Crown & I inked it up with Tattered Rose & Milled Lavender distress ink to get the colour I wanted. The small pearls are from my stash. I also added a Marianne heart on the image for a bit of bling ;0)

I'M ON MY KNEES PLEADING.............

Hello peeps, guess what??? ITS THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!! woooooo hooooooooo. We are off out with all the family today to the river & take the dogs. Me & the eldest took our dogs out for a walk last night & ending up covering a couple of miles lol. This was not long after me doing 5 miles on a cycle..........I was pooped last night lol. Hubster brought me a cheap mountain bike off someone to help strength train my legs some more for running...........last night was my first time on a bike for years, so 5 miles wasnt bad. However I had to come back due to my phone going flat & me needing water. Yep the bike didnt have a bottle rack..........guess what I'm getting today lol.

Anyway the reason for this post today is that I'm am literally on my knees BEGGING you to donate for Race For Life, the money goes to Cancer Research directly. I know a LOT of us peeps have been affected in some way by cancer, whether it be a family member or a close friend that has lost this awful battle to this awful disease.

Now I am aware some of you will be on some of the DT's that are offering prizes however if thats the case or even if you dont want certain prizes I will just let you pick the ones you want & then pick another winner for the other prizes. So for example if Vicky won it & she is on 3 of the DT's so wouldnt want, Bunny Zoes, Saturated Canary or LLC.......she would win the LOTV stamps & I would draw a winner for the other prizes. If that does happen I will also send some secret candy to the winner, so you would still get a lot more for your £2 entry.

Come on peeps its £2...........thats it, over in the UK its a loaf of bread you are giving up & I'm sure we can all give a loaf of bread up. If everyone donated £2 imagine how far that would go for Cancer Research............come on peeps this money is helping to 'Save Lives' what is more important than saving lives. If you dont want to be entered into the candy, thats fine then you can of course donate £1..........yep just £1 will help go towards Cancer Research that works solely on donations & if these donations ever stopped...........well so would their research. So would those lives they help save each & every year. Maybe they have helped save someone you know, they work hard for us so let us help them to work harder.

The run is in 8 days, yep 8 days. I still have so much training to do as bad health has really affected me but I am determined to do this even if it means crawling. Saturated Canary DT - You're Wonderful

Hello everyone I'm so sorry I'm so late today........my excuse is......well my excuse is nothing, I dont have one lol. It is however my birthday I'm 21 (again) ssshhhh though keep that to yourself ;0) My birthday pressie off hubster is at the bottom of the post.

Ok I'm here today with a simple card, its not CAS but for me its simple lol.

This is 'Reader' isn't she wonderful but then ALL SC images are wonderful. Krista darling you are our wonderful talented artist ;0)

The centre rose is from LLC & the other flowers are Prima. The 'Swirl' is a Magnolia die from Bunny Zoes.

I have used gorgeous Maja Design 'Vintage Summer Basics' 6x6 papers, my favourite colours, a few flowers & some die-cutting & punching & voila...........all done lol. The sentiment is from LOTV, I sooooooo lurve LOTV sentiments!!!

I had my birthday pressie on Saturday afternoon off hubster, he got me this.........

Its a new sewing machine, its the Brother FS-40 & you can get it here, it also comes with a cover & an extension table which is awesome. Its fab I love it, its sooooooo much quieter & lighter than my old one & tbh my old one isn't really that old.........probably about 2-3 years I think. I am doing more sewing now as I am making toys for my grandkids & Natty. I also make curtains & I've got outside & inside cushion covers to make ect. So this is awesome & will get used..........a lot lol.

Daisy Chain

Hello everyone I'm here with a wee bit of a creation using the utterly gorgeous products that Sandy stocks. I am running late today as I'm busy decorating my kitchen & although I made this card beginning of this week I then totally forgot to write up the post ready.........yep Thicky Vicky.

Ok I better get on ;0)

I have used more of the super delicious Maja Design 'Coffee In The Arbour' papers, I lust love all the colours in this collection.
All links to products used from LLC are at the bottom of the post.

The shape I've used a Go-Kreate die, I lurve shaped cards. Sorry some of the pics are not great :0(

This is the inside, I've not put a place to write yet as I wanted to show you the gorgeous papers. This top one is called 'Rose Garden' 12x12 & I think its my favourite sheet of this collection, maybe lol. I have inked all the edges with Walnut & machine sewn them as always.

Of course I've added Gesso here & there & I'm addicted to the Bark Hearts, so one of them had to go on.

The gorgeous charm is called 'My Garden' which I thought was perfect for this card. I also added some Gesso to it.

I have used a LOTV stamp called 'Daisy Chain' & coloured her with distress markers & distress ink re-fills. I have also added a bit of Shabby White Fran-Tage around the image. For the colour on the frame I used 2 distress inks, first I used Tattered Rose then I went over the top with Milled Lavender, I love how the colour has turned out. The frame is an old Spellbinders one I've had for years which I think are now discontinued. I have a lot of emails about this frame but sadly I dont think you can buy this from anywhere now. :0(

I added 'Cheese Cloth' & 'Doilies' underneath. Just above the Organza Rose Trim I added a gorgeous 'Crown Sphere' Pearl Pin. I havn't added a sentiment yet as I'm not sure what the card is for ;0)

Thats it from me, I have decorating to get back to.........however at the minute hubster has gone out to buy me a new Sewing Machine for my birthday in a few days.........I'm sure he will let me have it early so guess what I will be playing with tonight lol.

A Creative Romance Challenge DT Card - Patriotic

Hello everyone how are you all? Well we have been quite busy in the kitchen these last couple of days & we are getting there......very slowly lol. 

Ok time for a brand new challenge over at A Creative Romance & as its the 4th July our challenge is....

PATRIOTIC - SHOW US YOUR COLOURS

.......Yep just show us a creation showing us the colours of your flag. Easy peasy right ;0)

Now I know I'm english & live in the UK but I lurve the american flag........I mean LOVE it, I would love get my hands on a vintage fabric one...... :0) Also I wanted to use this fabulous stamp that had still not been inked or out of its packet & its just awesome!!! 

I have done a very similar layout to this before, so thought I would sort of replicate it ;0)

Isn't this just an aweosme stamp, I love it........yes I know so why did it take me so long stamp it.... I was saving it for a special occasion & todays the day yayyyyyy lol. Thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it ;0)

I havn't coloured an House Mouse stamp since my first year of crafting, gonna have to rectify that now ;0)

I made a banner with a Flag die from WOJ that I've had forever, I have just used 2 of the flags though. The '5Av' charm is from my stash.........not sure where its originally from though :0( 

I have also decorated the inside with this awesome paper which was FREE, yep free as a bird!! Would you like the link to this gorgeous digital paper pack?? Of course you would HERE it is ;0)

Now the front cover that comes with the download with the samples of each paper I used here inside, I just cropped off what I wanted in PSP & printed it out. I think it looks cool & whats more unique ;0)

The ribbons are form my stash, the gingham one is an East Of India one, which I do tend to neglect. The charm is also from my stash & again cant remember where its originally from, sorry peeps. Psst do you notice anything? Flowers.........yes there are NO flowers!! ;0)

The stamp is called 'Spangled Mice' & is a cling stamp by House Mouse, I coloured the image with Copics. My aim was to make the fabric American Flag vintage looking, so instead of white I went with a dirtier kinda cream........to match the papers & the whole theme. I've never coloured HM images with copics before & tbh concentrated on the flag & didnt realise I havn't done enough shading on the mice :0( So not happy about that, but will do better next time.

The papers have all been inked with walnut distress ink & machine stitched. My sewing machine started playing up so the stitching isn't perfect. I think hubster jinxed me as yesterday he asked me if I would like a new sewing machine for my birthday next week.......he definately jinxed me. Ok last thing to mention is the corner which is a Marianne die which I got in Nikki's FABULOUS sale, 40% off this & many, MANY others. Here is the link to the corner die.

Ok thats it for me, I have Danish Oil to put on some wood today.......oooh I lurve working with wood especially when its something thats gonna bring out the beauty of wood.
