Crafts & Me Challenges - Pretty In Pink

Hello everyone how are you all? Are we sick of this awful weather yet.............we are supposed to be seeing pretty daffodils & the fluffy easter bunny...........not frosty the snowman!! Although us by the sea have not really had the snow a lot of my friends inland & down south have had lots!!!! :0(

Ok onto the new challenge over at Crafts & Me & this week I stepped in to do the challenge, ok me & my hubster stepped in to do the challenge lol...........yes my hubby picked the theme, which is.....

PRETTY IN PINK

...........one a lot of you girlies will lurve ;0)

Ok I'm up to my eyes in mess here so I've resorted to my box of coloured images I did a while ago for this one..............

I have used a Sweet Pea stamp, these have been soooooooooo neglected lately :0( May have gone OTT with pink...............maybe's a tad lol.

I have used MF papers & some gorgeous MF 'Organza Pouf' ribbon, sooooooooooo pretty this stuff is ;0)

Cut 2 butterflies with MB die & inked the edges & added pearls to the centre.

The paper across the middle I used Spellbinder Edgeabilities along the top to create a fancy edge.

So this is 'Come Softly' by Ching Chou Kuik & as always she has been coloured with copics, I even wrote down the colours & clipped it to the image........yay me lol.

I also used gel pens to add some pink & white to her hair & the butterfly.

Added small doily under the image & a Whimsy Postage stamp sentiment. The pink gingham ribbon is from my stash.

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Well I should have posted this yesterday but with decorating things are late...........someone really is robbing me of hours everyday.......I sure aint getting 24!!

Anyway I'm showing you another one of the gorgeous new rubber stamps from Crafts & Me Store by the artist Zindy S.D. Nielsen...........I sooooo love these!!

This is 'Shh Now' & isn't she a beauty...........yes I know I said it about the first one but they are ALL beauties, seriously pop on over & take a look..............no wait!!!!! Dont go yet.....

The super duper gorgeous flower is the new Prima Flowers.........L-U-S-H

I have used matching 'Butterfly' which I also added 'Stickles' to the edges. I added a  'Crystal Swirl' & 'Twill Sentiment' from my stash.

Added 2 doilies on the front which I dyed myself to make them look more aged, didnt want the bright white look. Also added 'Prima Crystal' in the corner.

This beauty was as always coloured with copics, & I added glitter to her wings using my 'Glue Pen'

The gorgeous papers are the new Prima 'Engraver' this is such a gorgeous pad........but then all Prima pads are gorgeous. I also added 'Cheese Cloth' under the image. Inside is also decorated & there is another doily on the inside.

Saturated Canary Challenges DT Card

Hello again lovelies how are you all? Well today has been lush & sunny all day.......no rain & no snow!!! That Easter Bunny may get to keep his fluffly butt dry & warm when he comes to visit.

Ok so I'm back today as its time for another challenge over at Saturated Canary, wow are these weeks flying by. Now the theme this week is an easy one......

......which basically means that your card can either be based on a book, or make a bookmark or just simply include text........ ;0) Easy Peasy right...

Now I wanted to use one of Krista's fab ne wimages but my printer has spat the dummy & wont work at the mo.....................grrrrrrr

......luckily however I had this little pretty lady coloured up in my image box ;0) I wasn't sure whether I was gonna use her though as her hair I'm not completely happy with.......but needs must & all that.

I've run gorgeous lace(cant find it ) up the side & added 'Shabby Seam Binding' down the middle. I also made a double bow with 'Cheese Cloth' & more 'Seam Binding' & a blingy button ;0)

I added a beautiful 'Zipper Pull'........so love these!! I also added the card that Sandy wraps around the

 'Seam Binding' under the image for a bit of extra text ;0)

The flowers are the gorgeous Prima 'Serenade-Blue' & the white flower is by Kaiserkraft I think. I added 'Stickles' to all the flowers.

This little lady is called 'Angels Among Us' & I have a thing for angels ;0) I have of course coloured her with copics & the floor I used black prisma pencil & sansador

I added 'Stickles' to her feathers & her eyes for bit of sparkle. I also added more 'Cheese Cloth' under the image.

The paper is the beautiful MF 'C'est La Vie', this pap really is so so pretty!!! I lightly inked the edges with Walnut DI. I also added Prima pearls to 2 corners.

All the items I have used on this card are from my 3 favourite shops.

Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card

Hello my lovelies & its a very cold hello from here by the sea..........wow is it white. I've just got back from taking Jake to 6th form & everywhere is so icy, we've also had snow again............luckily the dual carriageway wasnt too bad.

Anyway its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me Challenges this week & of course its us Rockin' Rubbah Girls turn to set you the challenge & this week is super duper easy...............

RIBBON & LACE

............now I know we ALL love our ribbons & lace.

Now this week the girls have all used the latest new rubber stamps that the boss sent us...........wow I was ooohing & arghing over all them...........yes they are even drool worthy.

They are new stamps by the fabulous artist Zindy Nielsen, isn't she a beauty!!! Now us DT girls have had a laugh at our design creations this week as nearly all of us have used the same stamp lol..........pop on over to here to see how different though they all look & how totally gorgeous & talented are my teamies.

Both ribbon & lace were from my stash & the heart is from a MS punch. I've added white gesso to give it a shabby chic-ish look lol.

Of course I have done a multi pic for you ;0) If you click on it to make it larger you will see the gorgeous Heart & Key charms I tied together.

The flowers are 25mm Wild Rose, Red Carnations, Cherry Blossoms, 10mm Deep Red Roses & Hip Rosebuds, I also added Doo-Hickey Leaf.

This image is called 'Winter Rose' & is made exclusively for Crafts & Me Stores. I have as always coloured her with my Copics, colours used are below....

I stamped a sentiment on & added a gorgeous Prima Rose, although you cant see it very well here :0(

A Card For A Boy...........

Hello everyone how are you all? Did all you yummy mummies out there in the UK have a fabby mothers days yesterday? I had a super duper one, was told I was not allowed to do anything all day..........not even allowed to make a cup of tea, it was brilliant lol.

Anyway have you read my title, yes you are on the right blog I have made a boy's card. Well actually I made this over 2 weeks ago & then never had the time to take a pic or then put on my blog lol, so finally he is being shown.........

I finally inked up one of my LOTV boy stamps, I love LOTV male stamps but I am guilty of neglecting them :0(

I've added 'Jute' fabric across the middle. I used a Doo-Hickey die for the cloud & the smaller cloud I got off the gorgeous Krista...........the idea is to put a die-cut number onto the front when it goes to the recipient, depending on his age.

The stamp is called 'By The River' & I coloured him with copics AND I even wrote the list down & placed it inside the card so I wouldnt lose it..........should remember do this at all times lol.

I have used the lush MME 'Paris & Co' papers, love this pad as its fab for male or female which is just cool!!!!!!! I inked all the edges with Walnut DI & matted onto dark brown card.

Button in the top corner is from my stash & you gotta love those screw brads..........I've had them ages & always forget about them. I have kept the card simple as its for a boy & boys are tough & dont like foofiness lol ;0)

I thought I would show you this photo take on my phone last weekend when we went Ben & Megans for tea. Payton absolutely loves her big MAHOOSIVE rabbit 'Thumper'..........would you believe he is actually just a baby........look at the size of him!!!!! (Though this pic does not show his size well, he's actually nearly as big as Charlie). The dog of course you may recognise from my photo's from a couple of years ago.........maybe a bit less lol. That is Charlie who was our yorkie but he was always more for Ben so when Ben & Megan got their own little nest he went with them. He's just awesome & the most fabulous dog & we miss him but thankfully we see him most days, either if we go down or sometimes he will come up with them like yesterday............so its cool cus I still get to give him snuggles ;0)

Well I'm gonna come around & see you all now not been on the internet this weekend but I will catch up todayw ith you all.

Saturated Canary - Honey

Hello my lovelies long time no see............well ok its only been a week but in blogland a week feels forever, well it does to me lol. So I'm extremly behind in everything I'm doing at the mo, however I've kinda made a pact to get bac k on track this week.

Starting with my VERY late DT card for the new Saturated Canary Challenge which this fortnight is....

GOOD vs EVIL

Tbh I found this quite a toughie, but luckily you can do just one or the other if you want.

I went with one of the gorgeous new rubber stamps & went shabby chic mixed with a bit of..........I will just show you lol..........

This gorgeous lady is 'Honey' by the uber talented Krista of course.

I love this image, she kinda reminds me of myself..............a tom boy with a girly side to her, she's just soooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!

Papers are the gorgeous MME 'Blush' & I've inked the edges with Weathered Wood DI & ripped 4 strips of paper & layered them on top of each other to add to the shabby chic look ;0)

Added Prima 'Say It In Crystals - Black' to the top corner. I've also used MB 'Forget Me Not Stem' die, I used pink & grey card then sprayed it with florist spray to soften the colour.

Lace & pink seam binding are from my stash. I added Prima Flowers & the other flowers are from WOC & the length of pearls are also from WOC.

'Honey' was coloured in copics & I added a lot of shading with prisma to add to the shabby chic-ness. I cant remember the colours as she was coloured up over a week ago & I forgot to write them down :0(

I made a bow with the seam binding & added a gorgeous 'Padlock' charm & a pink 'Scalloped Pearl' to the centre.

Theidea behind the card was rock chick with her frilly girly side saying......''When I'm good, I'm good...but when I'm bad I'm better''. We all do things we are not supposed to, whether it be eat too much choccy or sneak some new craft stash in while hubster is not looking................or eating that last cookie ;0)

Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card

Good morning everyone, how are you all? Things are still hectic here but hopefully things will start calming down in the next week or 2. HUbster gets his plaster taken off tomorrow & the remaining pins removed, he may need physio after though.

Anyhoo's I'm here today as its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me & this week you have us Rockin Rubbah's ;-) The theme this week is just sooooooooooooooo super duper easy.......

DIES & PUNCHES

............see what I mean, now come on we all love our dies & punches..........well I prefer dies tbh!!

I have used a new rubber stamp coming soon to CRafts & Me Store.

This is 'Heather' by the uber talented Hannah Lynn, I loved colouring her & I did this in one of my fave colour combo's, Blue & Brown ;0)

I've used Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Swirl & Leaf' dies. I made a double bow with Shabby Seam Binding & attached that to a bow made with Cheese Cloth & then attached the gorgeous Pearl Trinket to the centre, I soooooo love these beauties.

The tag I cut from 'Huntington Garden' paper & added a Tim Holtz 'Trinket Pin' which also got the gesso treatment ;0) The rose is from WOC & added gesso to it & the butterfly is from my jewellery crafting stash.

I added gorgeous Pleated Tulle & added Organza Rose trim on top. I also painted a Silver Metal Corner white with Gesso, I also added it to the Tulle & Rose trims & other bits here & there.

Of course this lady was coloured with copics, I think I can remember the colours.....

I've added a LOTV postcard which I stamped onto kraft. The papers are Fleamarket 'Ladylike' & Fleamarket 'Notes' & I've inked all the edges. I've decorated inside & added 'Doilies' inside & on the front which I stained & aged to compliment the card.

Well thats it from me I'm off to do a bit of blog hopping before I take Megan the hospital for a scan. She has been having a lot of trouble with this pregnancy bless her & Ben unfortunately cant get the day off work. I will however catch up with the rest of you lovelies later when I get back.

Well I was supposed this little candy a few days ago but Natalie became poorly again & it wasnt possible to get on my lappy apart from the odd email :0( She is feeling better though today thankfully.
