Simply D-Lite-ful at My Crafty Heart

Hello my lovelies how are you all today? Thank you for your get well wishes, I'm at the docs tomorrow to be sent for tests......really nervous but hey I'm a tuff cookie & they aint gonna break my choccy chips ;0)

Anyhoos onto my cards today, yes double the action check me out lol. I have made 2 CAS cards..........I know I know, altho I managed to put a teeny bit of my foofiness on ;0)

I got some fabbylicious new dies from Teresa at My Crafty Heart & of course some more fell in my basket, oops!! They are the gorgeous new D-Lites & here is what cards I've made using a few of them.

The papers I've used on this are Glitz Design 'Vintage Blue' this is such a gorgeous pad I have to say. I've used dark blue A4 card & a creamy/beige kinda like Sandstone colour A4 card for all the matting.

My actual cards are made from suede feel A4 card.

I have used D-Lite 'Flourish Trim' along the middle & in the centre I have used 

D-Lites 'Frame 1' for the centre. Sentiment is WOJ. I also added Pearls.

The seam binding, twine & button are from my stash.

This one is actually my favourite & 1 I'm actually happy with for a change lol. No DP's on this one I've just used my suede feel card again & added pink shimmer card in between.

For the centre I used D-Lites 'Medallion 2' on a piece of card then cut the card to centre it, it worked easier doing it this way. I added a Prime flower to the centre.

I added a pink bow, which I really cant remember where it came from lol. The sentiment is from a stamp in my stamp collection.

There you go 2 simple cards using a couple of the new D-Lite dies from Spellbinders. I think its nice to keep a few of these simple ones in for when you need one in a hurry or just want to give one to someone just to let them know you think of them.........that is always nice to know.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card - Frosty The Snowman

Good morning everyone how are you all? I'm running late as I've been trying to catch up on some commenting. I'm really not well but I still want to craft cus it takes my mind off it a bit tbh, I wont go into detail yet tho, but this is also the reason why I'm so behind in commenting.

Also a certain little kitty wants to sit on my arms every time I'm on my laptop lol.......try typing where you can only move your hands lol. It takes me ages with spelling mistakes cus I keep catching wrong keys & then having to delete & correct lol.

Anyhoo enough moaning & babbling onto my card as we have a new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & this week our theme is.................

OH CHRISTMAS TREE

So we want to see a christmas tree on your creation somewhere.

I have used my favourite ever snowman image............I so love this stamp :0)

This feel just makes me smile, he's such a sweetie ;0)

The initial inspiration for this card design came from the lovely Mindy with this card she did here.

I told her I was gonna pinch ahem I mean borrow the idea lol ;0)

This is the inside of the card, I have added a Magnolia tag which slides behind the image with a sentiment & you can write your message inside.

I stamped him onto smooth kraft card & coloured him with Prisma pencils. I added a snowflake as well just so it would stand out a bit better. Also added Marianne christmas trees.

The Noel word I cut out of another piece of paper from this pad & set it on top of the original as the frame hid some of it.

Added Marianne Reindeer, Holly & a Prima Flower. Everything got the Stickle treatment.

I also added pearl dots with a Gold Pearl Pen. The small pom pom trim is from my stash.

I actually made this card nearly 2 weeks ago & all I had to do was add an image & a couple of bits inside which worked out well at the moment lol.

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Today my lovelies I have a christmas card using a none christmas image...........

 I've used a digi from Crafts & Me but I looked at the Bo Bunny christmas pad & well the rest they say............well the rest is in the pic below lol.....

This is 'Wynndy' she is a new digi image, isnt that hair something else. I actually think she suits the christmas look ;0) I have to say I'm enjoying making christmas cards this year, really enjoying them. ;0)

Papers 'Blitzen' which have lush paper in it. I tied 2 gold bells to the Snowflake with a wee bit of twine. Sentiment is Whimsy stamp & cut out using a die & added pearl dots with pearl pen.

I've used a Marianne die for the candle (bottom left corner). Flower is from WOC, the snowy fern is from a florist & I chopped it down. I also added Snowflake charm & some Magnolia Gold cherries & some Holly. Everything got a dosing of Stardust stickles & a touch of gold stickles.

Ribbon & small pom-pom trim are from my stash.

I actually love how this has turned out to look christmassy when its not meant to.............I love adaptable images ;0) She was of course coloured with copics & I added stickles to the flowers & gave her a sparkly eye lol.

MCH DT Card & Candy Winner

Good evening my lovelies I am here finally with my DT card & the candy winner.

First I will show you my card, then the candy winner with an updated pic of kitten. I will do it this way cus once you see the kitten you wont want to look at the card lol.

Ok so my card is for My Crafty Heart & the lovely Teresa now has the yummy Saturated Canary rubber stamps in stock.............so thats what I'm showing you today.

This is 'Autumn' & she is one of my favourite Saturated Canary stamps, its the hair........oh poop I also realized I forgot colour the leaves.........darn it, will colour them up later lol. I also ended up making the rake look like a broom........I dont know why I think its because I use a brush to sweep up my leaves off the path lol.

The dark brown die-cut that you can see some leaves on is actually the 'Jasmine Frame' which I snipped & added along the top.

Added 2 Prima flowers & leaf.

The paper is my absolute favourite one & its Prima 'Romance Novel' I soooooooo love this pad.

I've also added a piece of burlap, ribbon & lace from my stash.

The sentiment I cut from the paper pad.

I also added a Prima 'Papillon' (butterfly) & spots of pearls with my Pearl Pen.

Ok now I know I am slightly late with this.......2 reasons, 1 is that I've had my family over for tea, we were invited to Ben & Megans but we didnt want to leave kitten within 24 hours of her being in her new surroundings.

The 2nd reason is that BOY did you make it hard for all of us to choose a name............boy o'boy we finally did narrow it down to 5..............it then took an hour to choose just one of those.....

This was taken this morning, the pic I posted the other day I think she was only 6 weeks old there. Isnt she just the most gorgeous little ball of fluff lol.

Anyway the name we finally chose for this beauty is............ 'MINKA' we loved this name as soon as we heard ourselves say it & the name we thought would suit her even when she's older & if like her mother VERY HUGE!!! lol

So this is 'Minka'. Now we the family agreed that any doubles we had it would be the first person to suggest the name, which seemed tha fair thing to do. So the winner of these Rubber Stamps is.........

Why I've Been A Bad Blogger ;0)

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? . Let me tell you this name picking is gonna be tough........my goodness the names you are all coming up with are just awesome & its gonna be a tough job picking one........I'm writing them all down as they come along :0)

Well remember me telling you that I've been busy which is why I've been a bad blogger this week, well the reason is because my fabster hubster brought me some more storage so I can also sit in the conservatory........thats where we spend most of our time all year round. So he ordered me some furniture from Storage 4 Crafts which came on Thursday 8th November so he was busy assembling it all that day...........he then went fishing at the night time lol.

The double drawer stackers in the middle he got me, I think it has 22 drawers. If you click on the items highlighted in diff colours it will tale you straight to the item at the store.

I'm on sorting out my coloured A4 card lol.

The cream metal drawers at the side hold my cream, white & ivory A4 card. I had them in my old craft room they are originally from ikea......they are fab for card & paper pads.

Yes the bag on top holds all my copics as I gave my promarkers to a lovely blogging friend this is a lot more portable. Can you spy my Magnolia Ink mag on top.......it comes with a free maggie stamp, how cool is that ;0)

He also got me this Craft Desk to sit at which means  I have more space to work at. The cupboard is fantast ic but I've been used to having a very big craft room. This is the bottom end of the conservatory where the dining table was but we also have table & chairs in the kitchen, so we gave it to my son ;0)

This is the top end of the conservatory where everyone sits usually..........when they not fishing lol. Minnie is keeping it warm for them lol. Natalies chair is the one next to the sofa here with the leopard throw........was worried Minnie would scratch the leather on it. Not so bothered about the leather on my suite, its cheaper to replace believe or not lol.

As you can see I have lots of sorting to do, these were took Thursday night. I brought one of those Clip-It-Up.............I will give you a tip, they are brill but if you have pets that like to sit on your desk............well look below........

Yes Minnie (my Bengal) likes to think of it as her personal toy...........here she is caught in the act swinging the clip-it-up bags............

...........yes she managed to get that little bag off.........its there where the white circle is........lol she a ickle bugga but shes gorgeous with it ;0)

Also look what came yesterday.........yes my Ebosser......its blinking awesome......no more cranking handles.......I tell ya I'm in love. This is part of my christmas pressie of hubster........yes santie came early cus I been a good girl ;0)

I got it from Craft Superstore as they had it cheaper there & what I saved I then paid extra for saturday delivery cus I'm inpatient & couldnt wait lol.......but isn't she priddy ;0)

The only downfall is there was no instructions for after you have cut the die & then want to emboss it..........so you kinda have to play around til you get it right. Not that you mind playing of course lol.

Ok thats it from me I'm gonna come visit you all while this kitty sits on my lap purring away..........she is sooooooooooo gorgeous. I've missed you all. I will be back later with my MCH DT card & of course the winner of my candy ;0)

This is one of the new releases, she ia called 'Princess Snow' isnt she gorgeous, that dress lush!!!

The butterfly cameo & lace are from my stash. As its princess I went for pink & every princess needs a castle.........so I added a charm...........now what does this princess need to get in the castle.......

.......a key!! Yes ok its quite large.........ok ok its larger than the darn castle but its a special key & its magical.............

I also used another 2 of my xxl dies...........yay go me, check me out honey!! This pretty little lady was coloured in copics & prisma & given a sort of shabby chic linda effect..... I also cut a doily heart in half & added each half to the top & bottom of the oval behind the image.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card - Christmas Is Coming peeps

Hello again my lovelies, I am running late with my Midweek Magnolia's DT card, normally this is not my week but 1 of our lovely teamies didnt have time to create something so I made something to fill the space kinda thing lol. 

The challenges now we are hoping to help get your christmas creations well under way so from now till crimbo we will have christams themed challenges ;0)

So this challenge is.............

WALKING IN WINTER WONDERLAND

Now with these new maggies this year I have to say I am sooooo loving making my crimbo cards this year.........another reason to join in this challenge lol ;0)

Since sorting out my crafty stuff I'm gonna make myself start using my grand calibur more as it barely gets used. So I've used one of my large dies to make this card.

I've also used more of the stamps from the Christmas Story range, this one is

 'Tilda With 2 Little Gifts' another one of my faves ;0) I fussy cut her out to make her look more 3d for a challenge.

I've also used the 'Old Swedish Church' in the background. Both images have been coloured with copics & I've added stickles & snowy stuff.

The flowers are from WOC, & the berries are Magnolia (these are so lush) the stamps & berries are from here.

I've added Pom Pom trim & Magnolia Swirl & Leaf, Melissa Frances Pearls & muslin from my stash.

The gorgeous paper is Magnolia 'Old Angel Script' also from the Christmas Story range, & inked the edges. The sentiment is Whimsy stamp & cut out using the Notable die. I added lashings of sparkles as well ;0)

Its time for a new challenge over at Crafts & Me & this time around we have a colour challenge which is..........

Easy right, especially with all these christmas cards we need to make right now.

Yesterday I showed you a christmas card using no christmas papers......well today I have a christmas card using an image that isn't meant for christmas...... So many things are so versatile in crafting, its fab!!!

I have used a digi image, I know I'm on the rubber team but this card was made VERY last minute as I dropped a clanger!!!. It took me 15 minutes to colour the image & an hour to make the actual card..........thats a world record for me, it normally takes me that long colour the image!!!

Marianne 'Tree' die I've added stickles as well.........which are still wet here lol.......see very last minute lol.

Yes I even decorated the inside as well in that hour. The papers are Websters Pages.

Added couple of poinsettia's, Marianne 'Reindeer' die & ribbon & lace all from my stash. More lashings of sparkles ;0)

The gorgeous image is a new digi image by Hannah Lynn called 'Monica' isn't she so pretty. She has of course been coloured with Copics. Cant remember the reds but the........

I also added stickles to her hearts. The image I mirrored so it was facing the opposite way.
