Hello my lovelies how are you all? It seems ages since I've been on, it was my birthday last week & hubster took me clothes shopping then I had some time off from crafting. So I finally got into my craft room to get some DT work done.
So we have a brand new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & this time the theme is.........
Bows & Buttons
...........pretty easy really isn't??? My fabby hubster also brought me some new colouring pens for my birthday & I have to say I'm loving them, I still need quite a bit of practice but I will get there.
So here is my first image with my new pens..........
I've used the Tim Holtz Distress Markers, I lurve seeing images coloured with distress inks/distress markers so when hubster got me some for my birthday I was thrilled to bits. I coloured Magnolia's first as I find them the easiest images to colour.
I have added a large bow & a wooden heart button both from my stash.
I've cut out the beautiful Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Butterfly' out of vellum then fran-taged it with shabby pink. I also added Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Lovely Fence' & made some flowers from my Marianne Design die. The heart is from my stash.
I love this ribbon its so pretty in real life, its probably why I dont use it much lol, I cry when I have to cut it lol.
The stamp I've used is 'Summer Wedding Tilda' from the Special Moments 2013 collection. I didnt write down the colours I used I'm sorry as I was practicing at the time. The frame is Marianne Petra Large Oval die & of course it got the fran-tage treatment with Shabby Pink.
The gorgeous papers are the beautiful Pion Vintage Garden 'Peony', I so love the colours on this!! The tag is also from the Vintage Garden papers. All papers have been inked with Walnut distress ink. The lace is from my lace stash.
Dont forget that Midweek Magnolia's have gone fortnightly so that gives you 2 weeks to enter our challenge, yep 2 whole weeks ;0) Hope you will join us & please pop on over to see my teamies creations cus those girls really stun me week in & week out.
Ok I will love yas & leaves yas now. Quick update on Arjay & he's doing brilliantly, that wee lad is just amazing, our little miracle ;0)
