Saturated Canary Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone how are you all? We have sunshine up here by the sea, however its still rather fresh out there. I've just sent Natalie off to daycare wrapped up in scarf, gloves & blanket........that fresh nippy air aint getting to my lassy ;-)

Ok so I'm here to tell you about a new Saturated Canary challenge over on Facebook. Its Challenge 8 & the theme is............
ANYTHING GOES WITH A HINT OF SPRING
...........talking of spring I have some of my bulbs coming through what I planted last year, even buds of flowers yayyyyyy.
Ok so here is my card with a hint of spring ;-)
I have made a Thank You card for the Alan Shearer Centre as we've got go a long journey so they are having Natalie overnight for us. We have never asked them for anything before, we like to do everything ourselves.......anyway a card & a tin of choccy's to say a HUGE thank you for being awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Some gorgeous lace 'Eliane' from none other than Live & Love Crafts. I also added doilies again from LLC.
Edging is a Martha Stewart PATP set.

The gorgeous papers are Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 pad, I lurve this pad..........love it so much I ordered another last week ready for when this one runs out lol.
I have used a spellbinder die for the top layer & I've machine stitched around all layers. Also added doilies on the inside.

This oh so gorgeous image which is my favourite from Krista, its her face, eyes & hair....LUSH!!
Ok so the image is from the New Year Bundle & this one is called 'May'...........so obviously had to use her for the Spring Theme ;-)
She is coloured with Distress Inks & Markers for a softer look. I added a flower to her hand to add to the spring look. Also stitched around the edge with my machine.

The dies used for the leaves are Magnolia dies. The die used for behind the image is Joy Crafts 0147 Square Frame die. Also the banner at the top with the LOTV sentiment on is Joy Crafts 0386 Banner Die, both of these dies you can get from Noor Design Uk.
The flowers in the top corner are from LLC & the bottom corner flower is a Prima one from my stash.

Well I better go as I have Occupational Therapist & Builders due in a few minutes to go over the final details of the extension.........fingers crossed it starts in March.
Then its back to decorating after they leave & we have the rest of the wooden flooring to put down in the kitchen.......

Thank you soooooooo much for stopping by it really means a lot.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxxxxxxx
