Saturated Canary DT Post and Some Exciting News

Hello everyone how are you all? 

Well I'm here today with some inspiration for the Saturated Canary blog. I have used a gorgeous image that came was released with a craft magazine. The magazine is called Complete Cardmaking Magazine & it was issue 47. 

This image I had printed out on card for a while but took time to pluck up the courage to colour her, her hair scared me lol. Finally last week I got her coloured ready for my DT post today & you know what I sooooooooo enjoyed colouring her, especially her hair lol. Think this one is gonna be another of my faves!!!!!!!!!

She is called 'Thinking Of You' but you could definately use her for many occasions, isn't she fabulous!!!

The love heart I made myself with some 'Delight' clay. The butterfly edge is from a Tim Holtz die & I've layered them.

I decorated the inside to compliment the front as always but I made a pocket to add tags inside for writing the message on. Lace is from my stash. The tags are Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Vintage Tag' die.

The gorgeous 'Butterfly' is from Crafts & Me & I added White Gesso here & there. The swirl behind it is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die here.

E13, E11, E21. E00, E00O - Skin (a slightly darker look)

R85, R83, R81, RV10 - Top

R39, R37, R35 - Hearts

BG09, BG05, BG01 & Tiny bit of 100 - Skirt & Headband

N5, N3, N1, N0 - Background

She looks so much better IRL, especially her hair, shame it isn't showing as nice here :0(

The flowers are mostly Prima from MCH, except the light pink ones which are from LLC. The leaves are Magnolia's 'Sprawling Ferns', all have added Gesso. The gorgeous papers are Magnolia's 'Vintage Blue English Soap' & 'Apple Bloom Garden', they have been inked with Pumice Stone & machine stitched. I've neglected my Magnolia papers :0(
