Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia

Hello everyone.

Well I'm today today with my last DT card that I needed catch up with, Ive still got the card that should have gone on the friday but it wasnt a DT card. I've re-typed half of this as it was typed up originally last week but then I deleted my signature watermark by accident so had to copy & paste onto a new post......yep Thicky Vicky strikes again lol.

Ok so the new challenge over at Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia is.....

EASTER or ANYTHING GOES

.........easy peasy again for you lovelies. I went with Easter & used this Tilda that was coloured up when I first started back crafting last year.......yeah she has been in my coloured up box since then, hey there are some that have been there longer lol.

Lace, ribbon, doilies, seam binding are all from my stash.

Flowers are WOC & I added the Magnolia Doo-Hickey Swirl, think this die will be one of my all time faves!!

There is also a pocket with a tag in where the seam binding bow is.

Pearls & Scrapiniec Frame are from Noor Design UK.

Now about 2 weeks ago I brought a set of Pion Easter Greetings paper from here for £19.99 for the full 12x12 set & they are such pretty papers....I was taking a break from crafting when these were released so didnt have them :-( Now I do ;-) lol. Thought I would show you the inside so you can see the papers, I've got add somewhere to write on but wantedshow you first.

The die going along the bottom is a Fantasy die from Noor Design UK.

I added corrugated card which got the gesso treatment under the image & there is also a corner of it on the top right corner with a Butterfly on cut from the same paper collection.

There is also the Fantasy die running up the side.

These are the 2 tags that are hidden, well one is hidden in the pocket & the other you see peeking out, I cut it from the Pion paper collection, added an eyelet, waxed cord & a little rose.

The other tag I cut with a Magnolia die, added waxed cord & seam binding & then stamped Happy Easter on it with a Magnolia stamp I got from here.

The image is Magnolia 'Little Miss Tilda' from the Sakura Collection 2015, I still have a few of these I havn't coloured, yes I'm shamefully bowing head :-(

She was coloured with distress ink markers & I think the paper was Montval judging by the feel of it. I also added pearl spots around her & a few inked chickn wiring, faintly.

Deep Ocean & All About Magnolia Challenges

Helllooooo there everyone, hope you are all doing fine & dandy.

I am combining 2 challenges with one DT cardso that I can catch up with some of my posts.....I have so many in drafts & lots of orders to do.

Ok so the challenges I'm posting my DT cards for are Deep Ocean Challenges & All About Magnolia & both of their challenges are the same .......

EASTER

.........although AAM you can also add your Spring creations for a chance to win a fabby prize from Magnolia & Craft Heaven store.

Papers used are Maja Design Vintage Spring.....I love these papers, yeah ok I love AAALLLLL their papers lol. I have iked them with Pumice stone, distressed them & machine sewn them.

Lace & seam binding are from my stash, also the doilies are. Apart from the postage dies all other dies are Magnolia Doo-Hickey dies, I've used the leaf from the Swirl & Leaf die & I've used Birch Tree die & Swirly Butterfly die. 

The rabbits at the bottom & the chicken wire dies are from Magnolia Doohickey Club Kit Volume 8.

There is also Magnolia Lovely Fence behind the bunnies ;-)

The stamp is another new release from the Spring Time collection & this one is called 'Tilda With Dotted Boots' I stamped her onto Fabriano & coloured her with distress ink refills.

I have to say I enjoyed colouring this one that much that I coloured her again in a different colour....that one is on a card yet lol.

As always inside has been decorated to match the front.

Flowers are WOC & I added little blossoms on the tree, I also cut the tree in half & added foam pads to one part so it raised it up to give dimension.

The Magnolia Happy Easter I stamped onto a scrap of Nyhavn by Maja Design.

Noor Design UK DT Post

Hello there everyone how are you all?

Well a few of my posts failed to publish so I have a few to catch up with now I'm back home after being away for the weekend.

First though I will have to start with todays post which is for the Noor Design UK blog & this week I've used one fo the super gorgeous new Magnolia stamps & teamed her up with Maja Design......oh Magnolia & Maja go so nicely together....I've always said its like they were made for each other lol.

All links will be at the bottom of the post to the items used.

All items are from Noor Design UK, except pink butterfly & doilies, they are from my stash.

This tulle goes soooooo incredibly beautifully with Maja Design Sofiero & the matting is the co-ordinating cardstock that Maja also released with this collection....OMGoodness so so pretty.

Now this Tilda got coloured up as soon as I got the new collection....I think I coloured up most of them lol. This one is called 'Sitting Spring Tilda' & she is from the Spring Time Collection. 

I stamped her onto Fabriano then coloured her using distress ink refills & 1 marker (her top as I love the colour of stormy sky in the marker) & the background I coloured using normal watercolour paints. I also added Pearl dots around her using a pearl pen.

I then went over the image with distress glaze to give it protection.

As always I have done inside to compliment the front. I've also distressed the papers & machine sewn all around them as well.

Thats it form me but I will be back later with my DT card for Deep Ocean Challenges then tomorrow I will have my DT card for LHOSM then All About Magnolia ;-)

Yes I was quite busy before I went away as I wanted get all my DT cards done plus I had orders to do & a birthday card for my Auntie to do.....you saw that one on Saturday ;-)

Noor Design UK Challenge

Hello there everyone how are you all?

Well as I said yesterday all the family are away for the weekend so I'm hoping Mr Blogger & Thicky Vicky (aka me lol) have done thier jobs right & this has published.

So we have a brand new challenge over at Noor Design UK this month & its soooooooo super duper easy peasy.........

FLOWERS

............see easy right. I literally took the word 'Flowers' & went to town on it lol.

This is also a card for someone special, didnt put the sentiment on til after taking pics as I didnt want the person to guess from the sentiment who its for them ;-)

Its a very pink & shabby chic kinda card but I really enjoyed doing it. I barely planned anything on this card.....except the base that was planned but everything else got kind of grabbed & either die-cut first or just glued straight on lol.

A lot has got hidden but never mind if you look closely you will be able to see things poking out here & there lol.

At the top you can just see the Fantasy die peeking out & the Scrapiniec & some lace.

Ok so the base of this card started with a piece of 6x6 paper form the Maja Design Sofiero pad....my goodness I lurve this collection!! The top layer is from a 12x12 sheet which got cut out using a die form the latest Magnolia Doohickey club kit. Once it was cut out I then cut it out in white card stock also. I then got the Vintage Bricks die by Fantasy & I cut it out in the bottom left corn of the top layer & the top right corner.....leaving it open so you can see the paper underneath.....I have to say I love this die & the different ways of using it.

It may get a lot of use lol.

I've added 4 different laces would you believe lol. I knew adding lace in the traditional way would not look right so I just cut off piece of lace from all the ones I wanted to use & tucked them in here & there.

The white organza ribbon I made 2 bows & heat shrivelled them with my heat gun.....that Bev Rochester likes to inspire us doesnt she ;-)

 You can see the Brick die effect here. You can also see little leave speeking out here & there, that is my favourite Joy Crafts Ivy leaf die & I cut 2 out & used them in the centre as my base leaves...

The larger green leaf is a Magnolia die, its from the Christmas Flowers die & I scrunched it up a bit as leaves are not flat.

I added other leaves in white using a Rosy Owl die, I did bend them a little but they still look flat here :-(

You can see the dimension in this pic, I added foam under the top layer to give it dimension.

I have machine stitched all around the bottom layer of paper but left the top piece.....not quite sure why I think it was because I was happy enought with just how the die-cut looked.

Inside I have decorated to compliment the front, the diference is I've cut the top layer in half & then going down the centre I used another Fantasy die.

The butterfly at the bottom is from my stash.

Magnolia & Dreamerland Crafts

Hello everyone how are you all?

Hope all you mums in the UK had a lovely Mother's Day, I hada lovely one.

I'm here today with 2 cards for Noor Design UK, the first one uses Dutch Doobadoo Card Art & a Magnolia stamp & the 2nd card is using one of the yummy Dreamerland Crafts stamps.

First here is a card made using the Dutch Doobadoo A4 Kitchen Aid card art using Maja Design papers.

I used 2 different sheets of Maja Design papers from the Summertime collection, I added a different pattern to the bowl.....a shabby chic Kitchen Aid in my favourite colours for a kitchen.

Of course the Recipe Collection from Magnolia was perfect for this & not forgetting the Joy Crafts Strawberry die.

I added lots of pearls on this & of course it had to still have the flower treatment.

I also added a wooden rolling pin & a Kitchen Aid charm.

The fabulous stamp is called 'Made With Love Tilda' & again she was stmaped onto Fabriano & coloured with distress ink refills.

Here is the cardmade using one of the new Dreamerland Crafts stamps, these stamps are due any day now over at Noor Design UK. This beauty is called 'Enjoying The Breeze' & I stamped her onto Fabriano & coloured her with distress ink refills.The apples in her basket I coloured red & green, I also added pearl dots around her using a pearl pen.

These are fabulous to colour up I enjoyed colouring these soooooo much. There is not one stamp I dont like......they all have such an innocence about them & are so adorable!!

I've used Scrapiniec Leaves & some WOC flowers, the centre flower I made with Foamiran. I also added a bow made with Organza & heat shriveled to add to the shabby look.

This card is made for someone who wants 2 cards the same as my last Dreamerland Crafts card here but as I make no 2 cards the same as I like each & every card to be one of a kind.

So I used a different shape, a different stamp, paper etc. The things I kept the same was the tag with the LOTV Birthday Recipe on & I still added a bow with bling, only this time the bow was also made with oragnza ribbon & the other with seam binding I dyed myself.

I also used my favourite lace on this one & a piece of scrapiniec with a clay heart.
