A Creative Romance Challenge DT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Hope all is well, hugs to those who need them.

Running a wee bit late this morning as its been quite hectic here so I will push on.

Okie dokie my lovelies its time for a new challenge over at A Creative Romance & the challenge this fortnight is...............

EGG-CELLENT SPRING

............if you could see me now I'm doing a Mr Burns impression off The Simpsons 'Eggcellent' hee hee. Anyway basically we want to see easter or springs card, with or without eggs.......its not compulsory..............unless they are choccy then send them to MEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ;0)

Ok so here is my effort............I have to warn that my mojo has gone off to seek warmer weather I think :0(

Now the organza is straight honest but I missed glueing a part down so when it stands it falls down & then looks unlevel.............I have reattached it now but didnt have time take new pics this morn, these were took late last night.

.........see if you look now they are level lol. The gorgeous lace & organza is from LLC. I will try add proper links at the bottom later.

I havn't added a place to write a message yet as I wanted show you this gorgeous paper as a lot of it is covered on the front. The paper I've used is Maja Design 'Vintage Spring Basics' 6x6 pad...........I tell you this pad really is soooooooooooo gorgeous.

All the flowers are from WOC a while ago, the leaves are a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die.

I used Magnolia 'Hello Tilda' & coloured her with distress ink markers. I'm not a fan of yellow tbh as I think it shows lol..........never mind suppose I've got to do it sometimes lol. The sentiment is from a Hanglar Easter stamp.

I've added 'Cheesecloth' under the image & a shabby bark heart both of these are from LLC.

Well I'm off now to carry on with washing & housework, really need do my windows but think they will have to wait til I have more time :0(

Hello all you lovely jubbly people, how are you all? We are all fine & dandy here & Mr Sunshine has that lovely hat on this morning ;0)

Ok I have a card today that I made a couple of weeks ago using a stamp I've had since I first started crafting............yep its took me over 3 years to ink this stamp (I'm now bowing my head in shame) In my first year hubster was that happy I finally had a hobby after over 20 years of my hobby being the family & the house lol.........so brought me a lot of stamps in that first year & I have no idea how many are still un-inked from Sugar Nellie to Magnolia & everything in between lol. However as I'm trying to sort my stamps out maybe I can finally get some of them inked lol.

Now I'm not sure I even like this card, probably why its took me this long to blog it lol.

The stamp I've used is called 'Maribel' & its by Stempelglede, I have no idea where I would have brought it from sorry.

One of the things I do like about this card is the uber gorgeous paper, which is of course Maja Design 'Vintage Autumn Basic's' 6x6 pad. I inked the edges with Pumice Stone & machine stitched all around the edges.

I've decorated the inside exactly the same but left the brown seam binding off, which is from my stash. I added Pearl Dots around the edge of the centre bit.

The doily is from LLC. The charm thingy-ma-jig is by Bo Bunny, cant remember which set it is though. The swirl is of course a Magnolia Doo-Hickey.

The flower is by Prima & the leaves are Magnolia 'Sprawling Ferns', these are my favourite leaf die I have to say, although you've probably noticed lol. The edging is a MS PATP. The metal corner was from LLC ages ago lol. I've not added a sentiment yet, not sure what I will do with it tbh :0/

Well thats it from me I have bedrooms & bathrooms to clean...........hopefully will get to my craft room later as I've not done any for a few days :0(

Happy Birthday To You

Hello my lovelies how are you all? We have lovely sunshine up here by the sea, woo hoo.

Ok I have a card a made a few days ago using the totally yummmy new images Krista released recently in her shop Saturated Canary...........I lurve them all sooooooo much.

I've gone down the shabby chic route...........cus I sooooooo love shabby chic ;0) The yummy papers are Maja Design 'Strolling Down The Rose Path' & 'The Magnificent Flower Street' both from Sofiero Limited Edition collection.

Both laces are from my stash. The butterfly is Melissa Frances & I added Aged Wine & Shabby White Fran-Tage to it. The metal corner is from my stash & I painted it with white Gesso.

All the flowers are WOC, some are from LLC. The die is a MB one.

The super fabulous image is called 'Walking On' & of course she is a digi image from Saturated Canary. I coloured her with my distress markers.

The lampost is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Paris Nights' die. The pearls are from my stash. The sentiment is LOTV 'Handwritten Phrases' . I also added 'Cheese Cloth' underneath the image.

Vintage Mother's Day

Hello everyone how are you all? I want to say a huge thankyou regarding the comments on Arjay & Payton, they really meant a lot...........arn't they so squishy & gorgeous ;0)

Anyhoo's I thought I would show you the Mother's Day card I made for my step-mum, I didnt want to post it before incase she saw it obviously. She likes vintage style ones so thats what I made for her.

The colours I took from this gorgeous paper I've used which is Pion Love Song 6x6' from the 'From My Heart' collection which are discontinued so its your last chance to grab these. IRL these papers really are so pretty.......I've had them since last year.

I have decorated inside to compliment the front, I didnt gether the lace on the inside though. The stamping I've done with a stamp from LOTV. 

The key is from Crafts & Me. The laces & seam binding is from my stash, the middle lace I have gathered & folded to create that look either side of the image. I've also added a Magnolia 'So Wrapped Lovely' tag in the corner. 

The cameo I made myself last year. All the flowers are from WOC, the peach ones I've had forever, they really are lush!! The die is a MB one.

The gorgeous vintage image is from Live & Love Crafts, its called 'Little Sweeties' - From Grandma's Attic. I heat embossed with just one layer of UTEE, inked it with walnut & cracked it a little.

The corner is with a Marianne Corner die & I've added scalloped pearls to the corners. The doilies are from my stash.

I think thats it for me, I meant post this earlier but weve been down Megan & Bens for tea............it makes a lovely change have someone cook for us lol. It was lovely. 

I have some DT work to catch up with but I will be round to as many of you as I can later.

Lady Minion & A Little Something Special

Hello everyone how is your weekend going? Sorry I havn't been round to you all we had to take my craft cupboard to a lovely retired lady yesterday as she brought it off me. Luckily my hubster & my 2 sons went as it had to go upstairs. Hubsters had to take the doors off in order to get it up the stairs lol. I cleaned & moved around furniture..........was actually in my element tbh.

Anyhoo's I didnt get to craft last night we went bed early & watched Grimm on dvds. However I do have a few cards that I havnt shown on here yet..............plus a little something extra at the end.

Now remember I made my son a Minion card for his birthday....well Megan loved it, loved it so much she said she was a wee bit jealous. 

So for Mother's Day off Payton & Arjay I made her this.............

This is 'Lady Minion' lol..........I had fun making this & the idea I got from the actual film when watching it with Payton.............what she made me watch, under duress might I add ;0)

Anyhoo's there is a Minion who has a tutu when the girls are practicing their dance recital................so Lady Minion was then born........

The eyeleashes I made with thread, hairspray & a heatgun............I love them lol. When I added the brads on her pink overalls I didnt realise one of her straps had moved so thats why they are not level............didnt realise til the glue was dry :0(

The pink hair I made from wool from my stash. The tutu is made with MF 'Tulle Trim' which is called Pouf & you can get it at The Ribbon Girl here. I added 'Scalloped Pearls' at each side. On the pocket I wrote mum & on the inside I wrote 'A Mummy In A Minion'..........she absolutely loved it to bits!!!!

Ok I have a little something special add that I've been meaning to do for about a week or just over now. Take a peekski at the pics below...............

I have had a few messages & emails over the months asking about Arjay, so I thought I would show you how he is doing...............

These were taken at mine last saturday, day before Mothers Day.

Do you notice anything different?? Look closely at Arjay see if you can see it.........or not see it as the case is lol. Well he is now 9 months old & finally after 9 months he doesnt need his oxygen...............YAYYYYYY for the first time in 9 months he has no tubes on his face at all. Also his hips are getting better so he also doesnt need a hip brace anymore. There is a chance they could pop back out as they are not fully 100% but he's doing so much better. His face is all marked & sore from 9 months of tape on his cheeks bless him but its healing beautifully.

The consultant cant believe he actually pulled through as never have they seen a lung function as bad as his before, he was the worst they had seen. He's our miracle Arjay is & he has a gorgeous big sister who loves him so much bless her. We are so proud of this little fella & I thought I would share it with you. His story is how legends begin I think ;0)

Crafty Little Fairies DT Card.....or is it?

Hello everyone wow are we getting some grey weather here, its awful & depressing :0( Still we should make ourselves a cuppa, put some tunes on & dance around the living room with our hoovers........I actually do do this........lol

Anyhoo's my lovelies its time for a new challenge over at Crafty Little Fairies & I have to say its one of my faves.................

SHABBY CHIC/VINTAGE

.........told ya. I lurve these 2 themes & normally I would go for all pinks & pale greens & lilacs. Well this time I went for blues.............I lurve blues!! Only on craft creations though, strangely as I dont like blues in the home.

Anyway I have made a gift bag for this challenge..........

I've used some of my favourite papers which I do stroke a lot lol.....they are both Maja Design. The bottom sheet is Vintage Spring Basics '4th April 12x12' & the top one is Vintage Autumn Basics 'No XXII 12x12'. They are from different collections yet go beautifully together.  

I used a MS PATP punch for the edging on one side. I also added 'Cheesecloth' under the image. The 'Butterfly' was made using 2 MB dies.

I've added a gorgeous 'Coathanger' & attached a couple of bits of scrap lace to it. The large blue flower & centre white one up the top are from WOC, all the smaller blue ones are from LLC & the 2 white ones are rolled flowers made with dies & the 2 white ones up top are from LLC.

The butterfly is a Magnolia Doo-Hickey die.

The gorgeous lace is from my stash & the 'Rose Organza' trim is from LLC. I've added a 'Tag' from the Autumn Vintage Basics 6x6 pad & added a Little Darlings Sentiment Tag on top. The cute little 'Angel' is also from LLC.

I also decorated the back, its only done plainly at the mo as it needs to have a verse added once I know who the recipient will be. It also has a velcr fastening so that it can stay closed once items are in there. The handle I made myself with 3 lengths of string plaited together & I punched holes into the bag.

I have used a gorgeous SC image called 'Honey' this is one of my favourite images, I think she rocks!! I have coloured her with distress ink markers to go with the whole shabby chic look.

Notice anything different in this picture?? Yep I added a bow with white seam binding from my stash, that corner kept bugging me..........it needed something but not another embellishment.......so a bow got attached to the handle ;0)

Now if you would like some uber fabulous digi's I know where there are some new ones. When the boss lady sent me them last night...........well I cant explain how excited I got, especially over one of them as I've been waiting forever for it lol.............

Need a clue...........

Yep Saturated Canary have released new images, I wanted print them out straight away but my printer ran out of ink then the new one for some reason wouldnt get accepted, think the chip maybe damaged..................I was GUTTED!!!!!

Ok I'm going now, that was a long post phew..............I need lie down now lol.

Midweek Magnolia's DT Card

Good morning everyone how are you all? This is a scheduled post as I have the doctors right about now.

So we have a new challenge over at Midweek Magnolia's & the challenge this fortnight is.....

EASTER/ BUNNIES

..............yep its just around the corner so perfect time to get making those easter creations. 

I've made a few easter cards & up to now & this is maybe a fave, I'm not great at making easter cards & not made many but this year I thought I would send all my family easter cards.

All the flowers are from WOC, I've had the yellow ones forever. The rolled white ones I used a Marianne die. The chicken I have no idea where that originally came from, I found it last week when I made this card. Leaves & swirl are Magnolia Doo-Hickey 'Swirl & Leaf'.

The white seam binding is from my stash & I added a pearl to the centre. I've used Magnolia DooHickey 'Lovely Fence' & the flower is a MB die.

The stamp is called 'Tilda With Eggs In Her Apron' & she is from the Hoppy Easter Collection. I coloured her with distress ink markers.

I've used a Joy Crafts Corner die. The lace is from LLC & the uber gorgeous papers are Maja Design 'Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 pad from LLC.. I've also added Joy Crafts Butterfly Border die along the top & added Fran-Tage also from Live & Love Crafts.
