Hello my lovelies how are you? Well I'm scheduling this as hopefully I'm having a full day in my hobbit.........crafting & then hopefully tidying & sorting out my stuff...........yep its a tip!!
Anyhoo's its time for another challenge over at Saturated Canary & we have a fabberooney one for you this fortnight, its...........
ALTER IT
...........yep we want to see you Alter Something. Now this was a toughie for me as I have a cupboard full of stuff to alter............so I didnt know what choose lol.
Then I decided to finally do what I've been wanting to do for months & months.
WARNING PIC HEAVY
This used to me my alarm clock years ago but I find the damn thing soooooooooo annoying so its not even been wound up for years..............doesnt even match my bedroom........
I only remembered take pics after I started to take it apart lol............so excuse it not being in one piece, it was 5 mins before this pic was taken lol...........although it looks better already lol.
It now however matches my bedroom............
First of course I sprayed it black.........now as my hubster did me a new place to take pics of my cards etc I now use my light tent to do my spraying in............it comes in very handy.......
Excuse the white spray I had to move them temporarily to spray some flowers with my white florist spray lol. I use to keep an old box that came with a pair of my sons trainers(he has size 11 big feet so big box lol) to do my spraying in but this works so much better.
I have used my most fave Prima pad for the papers inside. To do this part I glued two pieces of paper together, back to back, I chose black for underneath so when I ripped the paper a bit the black would be rolled over.......I then cut up another sheet to glue at the base, so I had the exact two words to show through. Its about love so had to have these two words ;0)
This is obviously the top & the 'Love' & the front 'Scroll' I made myself with moulds from my stash. The 'Keyhole' is a Melissa Frances. I added Prima Gem Corners to each bell, I cut off the top bit to make them fit nicer. One of the bits I cut off I put on the scroll at the front. I also put a Prima Flower in the middle of the bells.
At the sides I've added some Prima 'Crystal Swirls'. I've also added a 'Clay Heart', a Prima Metal Trinket & a Prima Pearl in the middle of that.
As the clock is based on love as its for mine & hubby;s bedroom I wanted to use an image representing that. So I used the beautiful 'Bride' image..........only now when I've gone over to the shop its not there, so it may be discontinued sorry. I just go with whats in my folder, maybe I should check first lol.

All of the flowers are Prima & also the chipboard clock. The bird I cut using my Marianne die.
The papers I've used are Prima Lyric from My Crafty Heart but Teresa has sold out & Prima have now stopped making them..........so glad I brought plenty lol. I have been wanting to do one of these ever since I saw one on Pinterest & I'm actually pleased how my first one turned out. Will definately be making more & hopefully will get better. The one thing I forgot when I did this was to spray the little legs black..........oops will have to rectify that lol.
