Noor Design UK Challenge DT Card

Ok I'm running late with this & its now a DT card for 2 challenges.......this should have gonne live yesterday so sorry :-(

Ok so its the 1st January so that means a brand new challenge over at Noor Design UK & All About Magnolia & we are starting off the year with everyone's favourite..........
ANYTHING GOES
........how super easy!!

I have made a card for my granddaughter who is 5 years old today, wow doesn't time just fly by. I still remember me & Craig sitting in bed VERY early in the morning on the 2nd January waiting to hear from Ben & Megan to see what she had had & if everything was ok.........here we are 5 years later.....
Ok so Payton really wants a guitar for her birthday & her mummy & daddy have gotten her one as well as a few other things. So I thought, to a 5 year year old a violin would look kinda like a guitar, don't you think ;-)
This is Magnolia Danish Royal Opera Tilda & she comes with this fabulous Violin die. Now I coloured this image up months ago.....in fact I think it was within the first 2 weeks I got her but she has sat in my coloured images box waiting for something special........well nothing more special to me than my family & she's perfect for Payton.
I fussy cut her out & sat her on one of these fabulous Scrapiniec Frames.....oh I need more of these!
I cut out a piece of Pion paper to go behind the frame & then cut out Happy Birthday wording & the 2 butterflies (1 on the violin) from the Borders sheet.
This little birdy die also came with the stamp.....isn't it sweet. I kept it 3D.....I'm assuming this is the way the die is designed as it didnt look right flat. The wings at the tips I creased about 5mm in from the end then applied glue to that & attached to the body....then did the same to the other wing for other side. I then applied glue along the bottom of birdies belly & tail & attached her standing up.
I think she looks cute....think this wee birdy is gonna see the light more often ;-)

How utterly gorgeous is that pink lace.......omw its so so pretty. Now I was going to attach a bit either side of the scrapiniec frame but I wanted to see bit hanging below the frame so you could tell it went all the way across. So after I glued it down & it was dry I cut off 2 pearls & then added foam pads to the frame & lay it down on top.
Not wanting to waste those pearls though I've glued them onto the scrapiniec frame, 1 by the violin & the other 1 in the centre at the top.

For christmas my hubster got together with Tracy at Noor Design UK & he gave her a lump sum & told her to put together a craft package full of goodness..........OMWord it was utterly fabulous. I also got the Joy Crafts mini die cutting machine (link below just message Tracy to get you one)......this die cutting machine is fantastic!!! Its small but boy it packs a punch & cuts brilliantly soooooooo much better than my Big Shot, Cuttlebug, Ebosser, Grand Calibur (urgh).......yes I have all of these...though the last one is up the attic as its the worst one in my opinion!!
Anyway I also got Filmstrip Ribbon & on the front of the package is a little sample........yeah that little sample is there under the bow with the gorgeous bling, on top of a bit of scrapiniec.....no waste ;-)
As always I have decorated inside to match the front. If you look closely you can just see a doily below & above the scrapiniec frame, that was made with my Cheery Lynn die.
The 'Granddaughter' stamp is from my stash & have no idea the brand. I also cut out a number 5 with a number die & added these on one of the borders from the border sheet.

Well thats it from me. Pop on over to Noor Design UK to see what fabulous goodies Tracy has in her store.........go on its like a present to yourself to start off 2017 ;-)

Thanks for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
