Happy Boxing Day

Hello everyone...........I wont shout too loud incase some of you are maybe hung-over or have bad heads from all the festivities ;0) Me & my family dont drink.........well we are mad & stupid anyway.......imagine if we drank!!! Wow I dont think the world could cope with that lol.

Ok so my card for you today I made for a friend, I brought the image as soon as I saw it released as I knew this image had to be used for her. However I was soooooooo nervous about it colouring it in, I've never coloured one of these before...........

........it turned out not too bad for a first go though ;0)  I have used 'Lhasa Apso With Santa Hat' by Mo Manning.

Papers are scraps from 12x12, I think they are Paislee christmas ones.

I coloured these cute doggy in copics & a tiny bit of prisma pencil in area's. I've also added glitter to his hat.

Ribbon, lace & doily are from my stash. I've added 'Holly' & flowers from WOC, I've stickled the flowers.for some bling, well this lady lurves her bling ;0) 

Added a Joy Crafts corner & inked it with.......would you believe I cant remember what I inked the corner with.....oops! I'ved used spellbinders die for the matting behind the image.

Well I hope you are all still having a joyous time with your families we certainly are. Will be round as soon as I can my lovelies, please dont feel as though you need to comment peeps, seriously families are much more important this time of year........well all of the time but this time of year even more I mean lol.

We are at my sons all day today but I will get come round to visit you all tonight :0)

Happy Christmas Eve

Hello all my lovelies how are you all? Happy Christmas Eve to you all.

I am getting so excited although rushed off my wee feet as no doubt everyone of you is. We always have a mini buffet for tea on christmas eve & then have family time watching christmas movies, we've done this since the kids were born, its tradition. So I have the day to get cleaned & then do a load of cooking. I also do a buffet for christmas day, a bigger one as well as christmas dinner & of course I have family coming for dinner so I have quite a few to cook for, so as you can imagine lots of cooking & preparing today ;0)

Anyway I wanted to come on to wish you all a very Merry Christmas as I'm going to spend the next few days with my family & just enjoy the moments that come. I already have my music playing loudly & I was dancing around the kitchen like an idiot lol.

My craft stuff is packed away, my cupboard is shut up & locked............I do have a couple of scheduled posts for cards I made a week ago, 1 more than that lol, I wont be around in blogland though. I will however try my very best to get round to each of you today at some point today to wish you all a merry christmas individually.

However if I dont I have something for you below ;0)

A Gift Box

Hello everyone how are you all? Well its our last weekend before santie comes.........are you getting excited? I am soooooo excited, you would think I was 5 years old lol.

Today I have something that my youngest son asked me to make for his girlfriend Nikita. Its a giftbox to put his present in. He's brought a beautiful gold & diamond necklace bless him, he's a good saver, he just gets his £20 pound a week pocket money & £5 goes towards his contract phone, I pay the rest as the Iphones are dearer.

Anyways here is what I made............sorry about pics, 1 of my daylight bulbs blew & only found out I had spares after Nikita had gone home last night, with her present, so cant take anymore pics :0(

I have used 2 Magnolia stamps as Jake didnt want it to be christmassy so she could have it as a keepsake all year round.

I have used 'Tilda With Cozy Heart' & 'I Love You' both from the Sweet Crazy Love collection 2012.

This is the inside, this is just a giftbox I had in my drawer, its a pink one thats gone into it.

The link for this fab tutorial is HERE. The only thing I did different was instead of using one piece of paper, I used 2 papers & a layer of card in between as I wanted a stronger feel to it. 

Jake chose the sentiment to go in the bottom of the box part which I put onto a doily. The images were coloured with copics. I also thought I would show you a pic of the necklace he has brought her, its so beautiful. Not sure if she will be wearing it to school though when they go back lol.

All the flowers are from WOC. Lace & ribbon are from my stash. I also added a Pearl Heart in the centre of the 'O' & a Scalloped Pearl in the top corner.

The papers are Magnolia 'White Lace' Lazy Summer Days collection & 'Angel Love' Once Upon A Time collection, sorry cant find the link for this one, I've had this for a long time.

I also added some gorgeous 'Organza Rose' Trim along the bottom &some 'Cheese Cloth' behind the image. I also used a Magnolia 'So Wrapped Lovely' tag inside. The heart was cut from a Marianne die & I used a Joy Crafts die for the spine.

Well thats it I'm off to carry on catching up with you all before I go the hospital. So if I dont get round to you this morning I will be round tonight my lovelies.

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Well I'm hoping Mr Blogger has done his job & published this on time as I'm at the hospital seeing a specialist......urgh. At another hospital on saturday for another darn camera......but compared to what Connecticut have gone through I am darn thankful for all that I do have......

Anyhoo's its time for another new challenge over at Saturated Canary & this time it was the lovely Rebecca's turn to choose a theme & she chose a beautiful picture as inspiration, so pop on over to see the lush piccy.

I decided to go for the colours & make a none christmas card, well even though I'm enjoying them you all might not be.

I have soooooooo many of Krista's images printed & when I when I went to my drawer I pulled this one out first.........so this one it was ;0) Although I have to be honest the card looks better IRL.

I went with a teal & turquoise colour, although for some reason this seam binding is not coming out true to colour, it is actually called Glamour Peacock & its from my stash.

The image is 'Princess Rose Red' & of course she is a digi by the fabby Krista. She is coloured with Copics & her dress is colours with the BG copics.

Have you seen the gorgeous 'Pearl Center' on the bow, OMG are these soooooooo gorgeous, I need lots of these!!!!!!!!!!!

The black pearlys thingies I have no idea where I got them I've had them for so long. I added a Doo-Hickey 'Swirl' & some Prima flowers & a 'Metal Corner' The gems are from my stash.

I made the card with Teal A4 card & matted the paper onto Black card.

Crafts & Me DT Card - Christmas Bumper Challenge

Hello my lovelies how are you?

I'm so sorry I am running extremely late, I shall not bore you with details, I will just get on my lovelies!!

Today sees a brand new challenge over at Crafts & Me & this one is the Christmas Special, so as alwyas we have our bumper challnege for you. It basically means this challenge last for 4 weeks with lots of yummy prizes. The theme over there for this next 4 weeks is simple..............

WINTER WONDERLAND

Now I think we can all manage that at the moment, just basically anything to do with winter :0)

This card I have made for Craig's eldest brother & sister-in-law who live down Stoke, hope they like it. I have gone with my favourite colours.

I also went some gorgeous papers 'Victorian Angels' & inked all the edges. Added Marianne design 'Christmas Tree'

The image is a rubber stamp that was released last winter & its called 'Catching Snowflakes' by Zindy Nielsen.........I lurve her stamps. She was of course coloured with my beloved Copics. I also added 'Stardust Stickles' to her fur & to bits of the snow on the ground.

Added 'Holly Leaves', 'Golden Berries', 'Roses'. I also made a double bow out of some gorgeous 

'Seam Binding' in Storm Cloud. Sandy sent me these with an order which was sooooo nice of her, she dies it herself & believe me it really is LUSH!!! I also cut off a bit of 'Cream' Rose Trim & then added an antique 'Bronze Charm'.

The lace is from my stash, I cant remember where I brought this, wish I could as its gorgeous!! Added a 'Copper Metal Corner' & a Whimsy Sentiment. Lots of things got a dosing of Stickles.

For my challenge I went with 

3-2-1

This is also a card I made for a special blogging friend who deserves some love this christmas.

My 3-2-1 is, 3 Bells, 2 Papers & 1 Snowflake........oh & lots of foofiness ;0)

I also went with non-traditional colours on this & my favourite Tilda.

I have added 'Frilled Cotton Lace', love this stuff, its sooooooo pretty!! Also added my fave

 Doo-Hickey Die.

Joy Crafts 'Fleur De Lys' corner die, Silver Jingle bells from my stash & a bow made from 'Cheese cloth' I also added a small cabochon, Magnolia Leaves, Pearl String & all the flowers are from WOC.

The gorgeous papers are the 'Angel On Clouds' & 'Stars & Sparkles' & I've inked the edges.

Image of course is 'Tilda With 2 Little Gifts' this is one of my favourite Tilda's, I have to say I love this collection :0) She was of course coloured with copics. I fussy cut her out & placed her a 'Clock' die.

I added more 'Cheese Cloth' under the image.

Of course inside is decorated & I've added Petra's Large Oval. I've 'Stickled' all the flowers for some sparkles. I've heat embossed a wooden snowflake with Shabby Chic Pink embossing powder.

Vintage Christmas

Hello everyone how are you? Well this is the last week our kiddies are at school, so anymore sneaking around you have to do, nows your perfect time peeps.

I have another christmas card for you I'm sooooooo enjoying making these this year I really am. This is a Vintage style one with NO colouring again............think I'm ill ;0)

Paper is Maja 'Snowflakes' which is soooooo gorgeous.

Added Marianne 'Poinsettia' with added Pearl to the centre, Marianne 'Holly Leaves' & Marianne 'Anja Corner' & I've added Snowtex.

The vintage cabochon I made myself. I used 2 Tim Holtz tickets & rolled them to make scrolls & added 2 bells which I covered with snowtex. Stamped a sentiment onto a large Tim Holtz ticket & cut out using the die.

The image is from Pion 'Fairytale Of Winter' & I stickled Snowtex onto the snow at the bottom.

I added a bow with with Beige Coquette seam binding & a pearl to the centre. I added some gorgeous 

Pearl String behind the poinsettia. I attached some pretty 'Tulle Pleat Trim' up the side.

This is for my step-mother off Natalie & Jake I just need to find my 'Nan' stamp first lol.

A Hangy Thingy & See Who Santa Lurves ;0)

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Hope you are having a lovely weekend, I would imagine probably rather hectic lol.

I have made something for my grandaughter for in her bedroom, didnt know what to call it lol.

So here is a Hangy Thingy I made & the inspiration for this came from the fabulous 'Noor' blog & from this fabulous post, although hers is sooooooo much better believe me!!!

Now I lurve 'Noor' dies but I've not looked on their blog for over a week I've not had time but today when I was commenting I went on & looked through theirs last few posts & thats when I found this & had to make one straight away.....;0)

PHOTO HEAVY......

This was really hard to get photo's of, so sorry about the pics peeps. Click on them to see them larger.

Its so much prettier IRL, Ben & Megan loved it when they received it today.

I have used their Square Frame & cut it out 3 times, I inked it with Tattered Rose DI & then sprayed it with CC Spray & Shine & left to dry. It gives a lovely soft sheen whilst adding that bit of protection.

I turned all the photo's to grey scale, except one which was already grey scale when Ben & Megan sent it to me, which is the one below. I added a 30mm Rose to the top of each frame, also sprayed with spray & shine. 

I connected each frame with some gorgeous lace & I sewed some polka dot ribbon down the middle. Added a bow to the very bottom & also a MF Pearl to the bottom of each frame. I covered each photo with CC Acetate to help protect the photo's from dust so hopefully it will last a long time.

These are the photo's in colour that I used, the other one is in my sidebar. The middle one was taken at mine a couple of months ago, she was taking her bib off & she got it stuck so she looked like a nun. We all laughed including Payton lol. The other 2 were also a couple of months ago when her mammy & daddy took her to the park, she loved it :0)

Payton went to see Santa today & she absolutely loved him, she went up to the local museum 5 mins away from mine & she also went on the little train santa drove round lol. 

Her hat slipper when this was took lol.

Payton is such a happy little girl & would cheer up anyone she smiles all the time. Here even Mrs Claus absolutely loved her to bits...........

Santa himself absolutely adored her & wanted a photo of her for his phone as well which his wife took, isn't this just the most gorgeous picture..............they are looking for Rudolph I think ;0)

This little girl is bring the sparkle back into our christmas this year, its been gone for a bit due to loss but this year starts afresh & we celebrating it like we always have done in the past.

Its gonna be a darn good christmas, one my dad & brother would be proud of if they were here :0) Although in spirit I know they are :0)

Ok sorry for the long photo heavy post, if you got to the end then you deserve cake with your cuppa lol.

My Crafty Heart DT Card

Hello my lovelies how are you all? I'm a wee bit late this morning but I want to start my post by saying my heart goes out to all those affected by yesterdays terrible, heart wrenching event at the school in Connecticut. I have beenr eading about it this morning & just couldnt stop crying, its awful & incomprehendable it really is. My thoughts are with you all.

Onto my post today which is for My Crafty Heart although the image I've used is a digi, I sat colouring her up a couple of days ago & made this card.

I have used an image from La La Land Crafts, I have quite a few of these & a few even half coloured lol but I am guilty of neglect. However this one & a couple of others this week & come to play with my ink ;0)

I have used my most favourite crimbo papers, MME 'Lost & Found Christmas' which is on special at the mo  ;0)

I've used 'Snowflake Corner', 'Holly Leaves' Prima flower & Snowman Charm, WOJ die to cut out sentiment & a Fabric Flower with added stickles for extra sparkle ;0)

This is 'Christmas Lantern Marci' she was of course coloured with Copics & I've added 'Yellow' stickles to the lantern.  Will add the colours shortly......

I've also added 'Frostyville Border' & Lace & added Pearl dots.
