Saturated Canary DT Card.............Doilies

Hello my lovelies how are you? I want to start by saying thank you to everyone who has sent get wishes for Natalie, they have worked & she is quite a bit better today. We actually can go bed tonight we've spent the last 3 nights in the living room with her grabbing the odd hour here & there lol. So glad she's on the mend its awful when our babies are poorly isn't it.

Right the reason why I'm here & it is of course time for a new Saturated Canary Challenge, woooo hooooo I hear you say. This time the challenge is soooooooo easy & yummy, its..........

DOILIES

See how easy peasy is that, so all you need is a doily & 1 of Krista's gorgeous images on your creation, whether it be a Saturated Canary one or Sassy stamp.

I soooooo love this image & really enjoyed colouring her. She is called 'Love Letters' & of course you can get her & lots of other from Krista's Etsy shop here.

The hearts I cut out with 2 different sized nesties out of kraft card & crinkled them through my crinkler thingy, ssshhh I dont know what its called & have had it for a year & used it twice..... The hearts were also edged with Vintage Photo ink, they have now had Stardust Stickles added to the edge but I took these photo's late last night & was too lazy take more today lol.

On the corner I've used a Memory Box die 'Madera Corner' from My Crafty heart. Teresa has quite a few new yummy goodies in her shop that you will love & she has more coming so watch this space.

Corner was cut out using dark brown card from my stash & I added a large pearl.

This beautiful image was coloured with Copics, colours used are.......

Paper is the gorgeous Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle Collection' & I added faux stitching with a Letraset fine liner & matted onto dark brown card. Used A4 sand coloured card for the actual card. Doily is a square one from ebay which I chopped some out to make it oblong. I added brown seam binding from my stash. The flowers are from WOC. Pearl hearts are from a friend

Crafts & Me DT Card - Pretty In Lace

Hello my lovelies how are you all today? 

Well it is of course Wednesday which means a new challenge over at Crafts & Me & of course its the Rockin' Rubbah Girlies turn to set the challenge. This week your hostess is moi........yay ickle old me & I decided to choose something I lurve to use on my creations so the theme this week isssssssssss....

PRETTY IN LACE.

You gotta love lace havn't you, there are just so many gorgeous ones out there. You dont want to know how long it takes me just to choose the one I will use........for this card I changed my mind 3 times lol.

For my card this week I've used my very 1st Crafts & Me stamp & its still my absolute favourite stamp!!

I have used 'Butterfly Keeper' by the fabulous Hannah Lynn who is one of my favourite artists. Isn't she so beautiful, I lurve her hair.

The lace & ric-rac is from my stash, I think tho the ric-rac I brought from Bunny Zoes prob about a year ago lol.........yeah I forget about things lol.

Of course the stamp is exclusive to Crafts & Me Store. She is coloured with Copics & I added glossy accents & a sprinkling of glitter while it was wet to give it sparkle & dimension, it looks gorgeous IRL.

E29 E25 E23 & I cant remember what I used on the butterflies. I also added a small pearl to her armband thingy.

Paper is Memory Box 'Gossamer' & I edged it with Vintage Photo distress ink & matted onto brown card. The top paper with the script on is Marianne Design 'Roses Are Red' which I love but think they are getting discontinued :0( The card it is matted on I cut the edge of it with a Memory Box Die as I thought it was perfect being butterflies. I added 2 gorgeous Prima Flowers, a corner die & punched out some small butterflies & added pearls to them.

I'm actually happy with the way this card turned out, which doesn't happen very often & its in one of my fave colour themes, pink & brown. Pop on over to see my fabulous teamies creations they are stunner, each of them.

I'm here to tell you about a fabulous new challenge coming to a blog near you........

MIDWEEK MAGNOLIAS

Yayyyyy another challenge blog dedicated to all you Magnolia lovers out there.

I have to admit I've neglected mine of late altho I still love colouring them so when I got the surprise e-mail off Anne telling me about this new challenge that she was starting & asked if I would like to join I jumped at the chance........who wouldn't? Its fabulous to be on a design team from the word go cus you get to watch it grow & you truly see it expand & grow from strength to strength.

You Are Special To Me

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Thank you for your sweet get well wishes for Natalie up to now fingers crossed she kept a bit of water down last night & she has just had a weakened milk feed. 

Anyway we slept in the living room with her last night but I couldnt settle & knew I had cut a card out last week & I had plenty of coloured images so thought I would put a card together.

I made a tag card a couple of weeks ago, yeah I know I still havnt posted it on here lol. When I was making it I looked at all my tag dies, I have quite a few & I barely use them so that gave me this idea.

WARNING PIC HEAVY

I drew around my Magnolia Doo-Hickey die onto card & then scanned the image, once scanned I then enlarged it & printed it out onto another piece of card as a template to draw around. Fold over your A4 card & place the template so that parts of it just overlap the crease of the card, those are the parts that will keep it joined. See pic further down for better idea of this.

TIP: When printing out print out a second one slighter smaller so you have a template for the paper. 

Now I love this idea however I'm not happy with the decoration at all but I was following a colour scheme over at MDU & well tbh honest its not choice of colours........I'm not a fan of orange, I like terracotta but not so much orange.

This flower I made from ribbon last year some of you may remember me posting the pics....yeah can you believe its took me this long to use it......should of made it in a diff colour but I'm glad I did it now lol. The leave of course is another Magnolia Doo-Hickey.

This is the inside & I kept it pretty simple. I used another one of my Magnolia Doo-Hickey dies for the tag inside & stamped a sentiment on from my wood block stamps on my shelf which I've had since I started crafting..........gosh its been nearly 2 years since I started.

The image I coloured up months ago so no idea what colours I used all I know is I coloured her with Copics. I did add some shading on her hair with Dark Umber prisma pencil last night to give it more depth.

I used my Magnolia tag template again & drew around it for cutting out Longing Tilda as I wanted the hole in a different place then I ran the die thru my bigshot & cut another tag out in kraft card & stamped To & From on it.

Ooops need take my son school back soon.............

Lol was hoping get it done before I took him lol.

The heart doily is from ebay & I used my last bit of my favourite lace, will have to get more! Everything else is from my stash, little hearts from a friend. My lovely blogging friend June is now on the DT at Just Magnolia & I wanted to give her support so made this for their challenge as well, pop on over to June's blog she makes the most gorgeous cards.

Spring Bling For You

Hello my lovelies I thought I would post this card quickly while Natalie is asleep in her wheelchair. She is more unwell today & didnt even keep down her meds this morn & is really sleepy so it will be a night in the living room tonight, we dont sleep in bed when she really poorly. 

Anyway I thought I'd better post this before the challenge ends, I coloured the image up last week when I got her but it was only last night I got her on a card.

This is 'Spring Bling' & is of course one of the new Wryns over at Tiddly Inks, I'm getting seriously addicted to these. I do have another card made what I did a week ago but it doesnt fit this challenge but will post it this week, I forgot to last week lol.

The gorgeous papers are Websters & I've matted them on black card & pink card. Hearts were a gift from a friend.

She was of course coloured with Copics & for once I even picked the papers before I coloured her, cant remember all the colours I used sorry. I added Stardust Stickles to her flowers & her hair things lol.

Everything else is from my stash, I even found my whats-it-ma-doodle to make the sentiment. Cant remember what the proper name is for it lol.

The challenge over at Tiddly Inks is Sparkle so I've added gems & glitter, I hope thats enough bling.....maybe I should have put more on??

Anyway I will be round to see all at some point I will pick moments when Natalie is asleep lol. I have Beef in Red Wine simmering nice in the slow cooker for tea & the smell is making me soooooooo hungry!!

Choccy will help for now tho I think lol.

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Sparkle It Up

My Crafty Heart DT Card - Gorjuss Girl

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? Well its a lovely day up here by the sea, we are being spoilt lol but I'm not complaining.

Well I managed get a card made last night usually I dont get chance to craft when Payton-Lea is here cus by the time I have her & Natalie its like having twins lol. However I did one it took a few hours as I had to do it in stages but its done & this morning I took some piccies.

So here is my DT card for 'My Crafty Heart'

I've used a 'Gorgjuss Girl' stamp, I have quite a few of these & never had chance to ink them but when Teresa sent me this one in my DT pack I decided to ink her up last night.

The fabulous flowers are from My Crafty Heart, I placed one of the gorgeous 'Resin Flowers' in the centre.

I've placed a doily from my stash underneath the image & then on the corner I used my Memory Box die 'Tilda Swirl' which is gorgeous.

This stamp is called 'The Collector' & she comes with quite a few stamps, I placed an extra 2 hearts at the side of her head. Now it takes me ages to colour, I do spend a long time on my images but cus I had my grandaughter I didnt want to spend long on an image.....let me tell you these are just fabulous. They are so quick & easy to colour up I cant believe its took me so long.....doh!!!

I cut out a corner using a Marianne die in cream card from my stash. I punched out a small flower & attached a smaller Resin Flower to the centre. The gorgeous paper is one of My Minds Eye new pads, this one is 'Be Happy' & initially I picked it for its name lol but let me tell you its absolutely gorgeous & is now one of my faves. Of course you can see the new MME papers here. The lace & ric-rac are from my stash & my seam binding are rolls I get from here. Teresa has some fabulous new products coming soon including the new Tim Holtz pens so dont miss out sweeties.

Well I think thats me done. We are at Ben & Megans for tea today which makes a lovely change normally its me cooking for everyone else, everyone comes mine for tea lol.

Ooooh these are 1 of my fave colours on cards & I know a lot of you love this colour. I've been seeing some images around bloggy-land but was really good as I have too many as it is so didnt buy any...........

This week however I caved in & brought some, I really do need professional help!!!!!
This is a card I made for a lovely lady who has a few things going on at the moment & I just want to tell I'm thinking of her............

This image is from D'Arcy's Diaries, which is by the same owner as Teddy Bo. These are just fabulous & soooo easy to colour.....I really enjoyed colouring this one up!!

I've used Whiff Of Joy paper, the sentiment is also out of the paper pad & I used the 'Bracket Tab' die to cut it out...........yep another die finally used I am working on getting my unused dies used lol.

Terrible Two's - Mo Manning

Hello my lovelies how are you on this beautiful day? I hope its as beautiful where you are as it is here today, its gorgeous!! So coming off are all my covers on my sofas in the conservatory to get washed & get them pegged out.

Well I finally just had chance to take a photo of a card I did about a week ago, the image I coloured a few weeks ago. Mo manning had a wee blog hop & the theme at the time was love so I coloured a couple of images up to go with that theme..........it took a while get them on cards tho lol.

Anyhoo's here is miss 'Tantrum Tasha'

..........she's having a tantrum because she aint wearing pink.......all little girls love pink dont they!!!

As you can tell the weather is beautiful but I still put her in my light tent which is not good in sunlight lol, so sorry about pics, including this wonky one lol.

Of course you can get this fabulous image from the uber talented Mo Manning. I soooooo love her outfit I brought my grandaughter a little tu-tu skirt like that, hers is in pink tho lol.

She was of course coloured with Copics & I made her legs look as tho she had white tights on.

The paper is from Pink Petticoat & this one is called 'Perfect Papers' they are a digital download & right now they are half price, bargain!! I've had mine forever but do neglect them quite a bit :0(

Now I didnt make this card for any challenge, it was just for fun but Mo's challenge this week is lace, how perfect is that.......I'm making most of my cards just lately for fun & then looking for challenges after as I dont seem to have time before hand a lot of times.

Mo's Digital Challenge - Lace

Hi my lovelies

Hi my lovelies how are you all? I just wanted to quickly pop on to explain about why I'm MIA at times & not blogging much & also for the late candy.

First well the candy is some delicious candy I have purchased from the fabulous Krista, yes its fabby Saturated Canary candy mmmmm you gotta love that. I am having a gift certificate drawn up to a certain amount but poor Krista is unwell at the moment & I really dont want her to push herself drawing it up & would much rather her rest & do it when she is feeling better. I know all you lovely people would think the same & I know you dont mind waiting til our Krista is back to her fabulous yummy self. 

Second thing is while I'm trying soooooo hard to do blogging when I can my little grandaughter is not well bless her & the constipation she was suffering with she still keeps suffering with & at the mo the docs need to look at why & make sure she hasn't got a twisted bowel.............fingers crossed that isnt the case. Obviously bless her she is very upset at times so we have Megan & Payton-Lea over here with us a lot or we are over there helping out when we can. We also have her over night at times & at weekends to give them a break. We all know how hard it is being a first time mum & she is barely sleeping so of course this wears out mum & dad &.....well we never had any help when me & Craig had our kids so its nice we can be there for our kids & their kids as well.............yeah I know mine arnt kids, I have 2 teens & an adult but hey they will always be MY babies.

So this is a sorry I'm really not ignoring any of you I promise its just things are bit hectic at mo & Natalie always knows when somethings wrong so she lets us know about it lol........in her own screaming way lol.

Will try catch up with you all tonight. I have got cards done from last week but not had chance take piccies so not been able to blog them.......will try get the chance.

Prima 'Ruby' flower in the corner of the image & I stamped one of Whimsy's new postage stamp in the corner of the card. Muslin fabric is from my stash & I tied a scrap piece into a bow in the bottom corner.

The gorgeous chipboard that the new Whimsy sentiment is on is from Make It Crafty & the sentiments & die cut shapes have all been made to co-ordinate together perfectly. The chipboard shape I painted white.

This gorgeous image is of course from the new Paris Release over at Little Miss Muffet, this is 

'Le Parfum des Roses' & she is one of the new rubber stamps that have been released for all you rubber addicts out there. She was of course coloured with Copics.
