Blue and Pink Over At Noor Design UK

Hello.....well its Tuesday so what does that mean.......yes its my turn to post a DT project for Noor Design UK......... This week I have made not 1 project but 2 different projects & not one coloured image in sight.........I know I think I'm sickening for something ;-)

Ok lets show you the 2 things I've made with the same Template........links to everything used will be at the bottom of the post.

I will show you the blue one first........

I have made a Tag using the Dutch Doobadoo 'Shape Art A4 Tag XL'........there are so many different sizes to be made with this......its fab.

I've used Dutch Doobadoo paper Art for the 'Birdcage' & the 'Birds'. The birds sitting at the bottom I covered with shabby blue fran-tage.

I've also added Scrapiniec 'Best Wishes' chipboard & also covered that in blue fran-tage.

There is another Scrapiniec chipboard at the top.

I've added a small tag using a Joy Crafts die & stamped a sentiment on it with  Little Darlings 'Best Friends' stamp set. The flowers & glass berries are from Noor Design UK. I've also added in a bit of pearl string amongst the flowers.

Ok now for the Pink Project ;-) again using the Tag Template....

This is a card I've made with the Tag Template. The papers I've used are sooooo gorgeous. I have mixed 2 different Craft and You papers, 1 from the My Wedding collection & the other from the Rose Garden collection........I think they have gone beautifully together.

I've used a Scrapiniec chipboard as the main focus with a sentiment from the Little Darlings Friendship stamp set.......I love this stamp set can you tell lol. I've also added a little bird on the corner..

I also made a pocket inside & anothe Tag to go in that pocket. I added the gilded oval die for somewhere to write your message on.

I've kept the inside quite simple as the focus is on the front & I wanted to show the paper off more on the inside.

The sentiment is form the same stamp set. I've distressed all the papers, inked the edges with distress ink & added white Gesso here & there.

On the first tag you will see a scalloped border, this is actually a La La Land Crafts die, love thier dies, Tracy will soon be stocking these over at Noor Design UK.......so watch this space ;-)

Noor Design UK DT Card - Friendship

Hi everyone I'm here today with a bit of inspiration using fabulous products from Noor Design UK.

Would you believe I've gone all CAS today..........think I must be sickening for something lol. Now I lurve my foofy cards but I also love CAS cards.........well I love everyone else's CAS cards lol. For me these take just as long as my foofy cards lol.

However this one I have to say all fell into place & it started off with a Dutch Doobadoo Template & a Little Darlings Embossing Folder....

So I made a CAS card & a Matching Envelope. Links to products used will be at the bottom.

I've used a Scrapiniec Chipboard frame for around my image. I painted it first with white gesso then added Shabby Blue Fran-tage to it.

The embossing folder used is Little Darlings Gilded Embossing Folder & in this set you get 2 embossing folders......... 1 embosses all over, like what I've done for the back of the card & the other folder embosses & leaves a blank oval space in the centre, which is what I've used for the front of the card & for the envelope......this is ideal for writing on.....or as I've done on the card placing my image on.

Inisde the card I've used a fabulous sentiment set from Little Darlings called 'Best Friends', this is a fabulous set, you get 12 stamps including these little scroll pattern stamps which I think are perfect for adding that finishing touch.

For the blue colour I just used the same distress ink marker that I used on the image which was Evergreen Bough & then coloured the stamp.......ideal if you dont have that colour ink pad.

The image is a rubber stamp again by Little Darlings Saturated Canary 'Sweatshirt Saturday' I lurve this stamp its one of my favourites. She has been stamped onto Fabriano Artistico paper which Tracy now stocks........this paper is AWESOME for your watercolours.

I've used Distress markers, ink pads & refills.

For the envelope I used the Dutch Doobadoo Envelope Art A4 Scallop 2. I also added 2 layers of card, 1 in a co-ordinating colour to the image & the other for embossing. I've used the same Little Darlings sentiment set. I've also added the Swirl Leaf die & a few flowers, the smaller ones are OWC flowers which Tracy now stocks over at Noor Design UK & more is due in soon.

Noor Design UK Challenge - Spring

Hello everyone, how are you all? 

I'm hoping this post goes live as I scheduled it on friday as we are currently away for the weekend with the whole family.

So we have a brand new challenge for you over at Noor Design UK & this month is super easy.......its...

SPRING

.......see easy peasy right ;-) So lovelies get all those flowers out or spring themed stamps or whatever it is that makes you think of spring & spring it right over to us here ;-)

You never know, if we show it what spring is supposed to look like we may actually get some nice sprng weather.....fingers crossed!!

I have used the most gorgeous papers, yes Craft & You papers........oh I sooooooo love these. This time I've used 'Vintage Time' 6x6 pad available at Noor Design UK.

A selection of WOC flowers available at Noor Design UK & more coming soon. Cheesecloth is also from there.

I used Butterfly Edge die & cut it out twice, 1 in white cardstock & another in the same Vintage Time paper.

This pretty stamp is Little Darlings Candibean 'Abby Lynne' & I coloured her with Distress Markers & Ink pads all from Noor Design UK. She is stamped onto Fabriano watercolour paper.

Colours used are......

Vintage Photo & Tattered Rose - Skin

Antique Linen & Walnut Stain - Hair

Abandoned Coral & Pumice Stone - Dress & Shoes

Aged Mahogany & Stickles - Flower

Tumbled Glass - Sky & Eyes

Peeled Paint, Forest Moss & Crushed Olive - Grass

For the sky I also used the Dutch Doobadoo Mask Art A6 Cloud.

I used the outer edge part of the Joy Crafts 12 Point die behind the image & the centre part is just sticking out. Other dies used are Large Leaf die & Joy Crafts Feather die.

With Love On Your Wedding

Hi everyone I'm here today with a Wedding Card in a shabby chic kinda style.........oooh I lurve shabby chic ;-) It's my DT Card for Noor Design Uk.

So over the weekend I finally got chance to play with my DT Kit that Tracy sent us.......OMWord I am going to start with the papers I've used on this card. Now let me start by saying I truly adore Maja Design papers & nothing else compared........that was however until I got my hands on these gorgeous Craft & You papers. The quality is fantastic & they are excellent value for money. I loved them that much that instead of getting the latest Maja Design release I went over to Tracy's shop & ordered LOTS of paper.......I love paper but I'm fussy............these are beautiful papers at a fraction of the cost.....

Anyway I better show you my card lol.

All links are at the bottom of the post. Tracy is now stocking WOC flowers, she has a few on her website but there are more to come soon. The papers are Crafts & You 'My Wedding'........although these can be used for much more than weddings.

I've inked the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink & added gesso in places as well.

The honeycomb shaped chipboard is Scrapiniec & has been painted with white gesso. Tracy will have this in stock soon........ I love this honeycomb bit, it adds that extra bit of something.

In the top right corner I added a Scrapiniec Corner chipboard, I painted it with white gesso & added dots of pearl with a White Pearl Pen.

These chipboard shapes from Scrapiniec are awesome & want them all.........eventually lol.

This chipboard was in a set & you get 5 pieces of chipboard altogether including 2 frames.

So the lovely kissing couple I fussy cut out from the 'My Wedding' sheet 07, I added white gesso & some dots with the Pearl Pen for their eyes. I also fussy cut out that backing the sentiment is on then placed that onto the Oval die.

I also placed CheeseCloth underneath the oval die.

The sentiment is LOTV.

Again from sheet 07 I cut out one of the circles & turned it into a cabochon adding the cabochon cover which is from my stash. I added another Scrapiniec chipboard, the hearts on the arrow which Tracy will be adding to Noor Design Uk very soon.

As I've covered up the paper I thought I would show you just how pretty it is so I've took a photo of the inside before I add a place to write a message. Isn't it just so pretty, trust me the photo's dont do this paper justice.

At the side I fussy cut yet again from sheet 07 half a doily & placed it between the two layers of paper & added pearl dots. I also cut out the small butterfly from the sheet & there are still loads left to cut out.........its brilliant!!

The rolled roses I used the die shown below & sheet 03, I inked them & added a little bit of gesso. The leaves are also a new die from Crafts & You & cuts perfectly everytime.
