Good Times with Mimo........

Hello all my lovelies how are you? WOW arn't these winds just terrible, hope everyone has managed to keep safe out there. My youngest was out for a bit last night & 1 poor couple were told they shouldnt sleep in their house last night & it wasnt deemed safe.........the winds were just that bad.

Anyway onto my card. I actually made this on Saturday but completely forgot about it, the image tho has been coloured for ages!!!

I made a boys card for a change cus I do tend to neglect the male cards at times.

This is 'Mimo Tree' by Bildmalarna.........I've been neglecting these stamps lately & they are on special over at Bunny Zoe's........ You should also check out the new crimbo ones they are gorgeous I had to get them all the other week............in my defence tho Nikki had a bank hol sale on at the time &........well you know how it is.................lol

I have stitched all around the edge using blue thread.

I've used a 6x6 scalloped card blank & used Fancy Pants 'Beach Bum' paper. 

Buttons are from my stash & I've threaded the same blue thread through them I used for stitching.

This little fella was coloured with Copics & the sky I did with chalks & sprayed with Crafters Companion Spray & Shine.

Used a Whimsy sentiment & cut out the card myself.

Well thats it from me I'm gonna catch up on some commenting as I'm behind then get some DT work done.

Pearl The Mermaid by Saturated Canary..............

Hello my lovelies I am back with a card for you & a new digi image.

Krista who designs the Simply Sassy range for Sugar Nellie has now opened her own digital image shop Saturated Canary so you can now buy her fabulous art in digi stamps.........now I love digi stamps so altho I tried to resist buying any (you dont want to know how many in-inked ones I have) I did weaken & it didnt take long for me to weaken. I thought 'Ooooh I will pop over you know just to have a peekskie..........I will NOT buy any mmmmmmmm would you believe 4 fell into my basket, I tell ya those darn cyber baskets they are lethal........I've heard there is more images this weekend.......I daren't go over yet tho lol....

Anyway here is my first image for you all & I have to say I so enjoyed colouring her especially her hair.

I used Whiff Of Joy 6x6 Paper pad to decorate my 6x6 On The Edge Card blank & used Kraft card from my stash for matting. All paper has been splodged with white acrylic paint.

The gorgeous Silky Crushed Ribbon is sooooo beautiful & was my last so I need to get more now.......oh darn it....ribbon shopping.........;0)

My latest order from Bunny Zoe's contained the fabulous Whimsy Mini Postage stamps & Mini Postage Die which I stamped onto kraft & went around the edge with a touch of white paint.

The gorgeous image is 'Pearl a Mermaid' & isnt she just sooooo pretty. I coloured her with Copics & kept to light colours to show just how pretty she is........& also cus I luuurrrvvve blue's lol.

I cut her out & placed her on foam pads & lay her on some blue paper to imitate water....well the colour anyway lol.

The leaves I cut using a Magnolia Doo Hickey & then attached a Mulberry Daisy.

I enjoyed making this card & it all just flowed together swimingly..........lol sorry for the pun lol.

Well I'm away now to finish off one of the crochet baby blankets I'm doing for someone, I will be back later to hop along your blogs to catch up with you all.

CES DT Card............... Oooooohhhhh spooooookkyy...........

Hello all my lovelies how are you all? Well I'm finally here with a card boy I've missed crafting.

Today of course its time for a new challenges over at CES Challenges & this week the lovely Carrie has chosen the theme which is........

MAGICAL OR SPOOKY

I decided to go for spooky scary...........well ok spooky lol.

Also cus I have a few friends who have birthdays on 31st October....

I have used 2 digi images from Make It Crafty......I have used 'Eerie Scene' & 'Mini Morticia' 

Black & cream A4 card used for matting is from my stash.

The sentiment I cut from the second sheet & layered it on some card & foam tape.

This is a close-up of the images. I coloured them with Copics I have no idea what colours cus I used quite a few to do the sky........it was my first time doing this sky, I tried to make it look spooky-ish & greyed the fenced a little. I cut the pumpkins off the second sheet again & attached them using foam pads.

Pumpkin button & witch hat button from my stash as well as the lace.

Paper used is Echo Park 'Apothecary' & I used a 6x6 On The Edge card blank.

Hello sweeties........

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Just a quick post to say a HUGE thank you for your lovely messages I only got chance to read them this morning cus I havnt been on the net but boy have you all cheered me up you are all amazing people & I loves ya!!!

My belly button looks as though its getting infected.....yuk!! So its rather sore at the mo, hubby changed my dressings last night for me..........he's my ickle nurse lol.

I actually did some colouring last night on DT work & I managed ok altho stamping I struggle with, you dont realise how much you use your stomach muscles for simple things.......my new sugars didnt turn out well lol.

Anyway my youngest caught the dogs on the sofa asleep the other day & grabbed the camera to take a pic so I thought I would show it to you as its just so darn cute lol............

This is Bailey (boxer) & Charlie (yorkie)

Yes as you can tell Bailey loves his comfort lol.........but how cute do they look......

Anyway I'm gonna do some hopping to see you all now.

I'm back...............

Hello my lovelies how are you all? Do you know it seems ages since I last did a post & yet its only just under a week........

Anyhoo's I had my operation on friday which went well I had my gallbladder removed. They cut me 4 times which is not too bad I suppose..............lol. Its rather sore to say the least but what else can I expect from having an organ removed lol. This is the first time since last Thursday I#ve switched my lappy on but I've just spent the weekend in bed watching dvds with hubster lol- in between him doing other things of course lol.........my youngest Jake lay on the bed with me last night & we just watched dvds all night it was lovely.......

The op went well & the staff down theatre were just fabulous as always.....didnt get no bacon & egg mind!

I still need further investigation into my upper left abdomen & kidney but will cross that in 6 weeks & the doc wants me completely recovered from this first.

I'm hoping to try do a little bit of colouring today........I had the new release stamps from Sugar Nellie delivered on saturday......oh they are soooooooo gorgeous & I got a load of their steampunk charms which are just fabulous.........they are all sitting in the envelope still tho as I've not so much as picked up a copic :0(

Anyhoo's my lovelies I'm gonna try to catch up with you all today......I will do it in short bursts lol....I have really missed you all & I'm looking forward to seeing what you've been creating.

Crafts & Me Challenges DT Card.........Charming....

Hello peeps how are you all? For those poorly I wish you all better real soon. This is actually a scheduled post as I have sooooo much to do before the hospital..........mainly cleaning & DT work & a few bits for Jake for school.......can you believe how quick these hols have gone!!

Anyhoo's today of course is time for the new challenges over at Crafts & Me Challenges & this week is us Rockin' Rubbah Girlz & the lovely Trish has chosen the theme which isssss........

USE A CHARM.

Yep as long as there is a charm on your creation then bring it along & join in the fun.

I have inked up another beauty.......she was so glad to see some ink bless her.........

Yes this is the other image I coloured the other day on Kraft card lol. This image is 'Belle of Bon Adventure' by Jasmine Becket-Griffith exclusive to Crafts & Me Store.

Beautiful seam binding ribbon , pretty lace & wooden heart are all from my stash as well as the charm.....I think I may of gotten the charm off Ebay......maybe!! The chain was actually silver & I put some Memories brown ink dye on it & then dried it on using my heat gun..........MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE TO COOL BEFORE TOUCHING.........IT GETS VERY HOT lol.....I can assure you lol.

The fancy edge I used a WOJ border die. The flower I crocheted & put a paper rose with inked edges in the centre & also attached some white pearl flowers at the side.

This is now in my Top 5 fave stamps, she is fabulous to colour I really enjoyed colouring her.

The image has been coloured with Prisma pencils & added stickles to part of her dress. I made a frame around her using Deckled Oval dies & then used Lacy Ovals for the bottom layer & painted it with TH Brass crackle paint.

The card is made from A4 white card. These had a special on over the weekend on A4 card so I stocked up not sure if the special is still on peeps.

Paper I used is Bo Bunny 'Timepiece'. The sentiment is 'Inspire beauty in all that surrounds you' & I cut it out using a tag die I've got & added string.

Well thats it peeps I'm hopefully gettting my cleaning & washing done & waiting for Mr Postie deliver all my bank hol goodies.........well you gotta take advantage of the sales dontcha lol.

Simply Sassy............Simply For You........

Good evening my lovelies how are you all? Hope you've all had a fab bank hol weekend in the UK. Yesterday we had one of those lovely family days, we chilled all day together snuggled up & watched movies it was just one of those perfect days.............

Today tho I decided to get some crafting done & this morning decided to stop neglecting my Prisma's & practice some more on Kraft card. So I stamped a few images & here is the 1st.

I should really get my un-inked Sugar's done but well this is my fave sassy lassy so.............

Yes I used 'Fairytale' Simply Sassy as she was & still is my fave sassy from the 1st set....

Available of course from Funkykits. I have of course followed the fabulous sketch over at The Sugarbowl with the option of 'For A Girl', I didnt want to go with the typical pink so I went with my fave card colours.

I punched a heart using my MS punch out of kraft & splodged a bit of white paint around the edge & finished with a button & some Bakers Twine. On the strips of kraft I added a strip of Seam Binding ribbon, bakers twine & card candy to each strip.

The flower I crocheted with crochet yarn doubled up & added another button & bakers twine.

Paper is from Magnolia.

The image has been coloured with Prisma pencils & I added stickles to the bottom of her dress.

I cut out 2 Pennant Banners & stamped 'For You' in brown memento ink & threaded bakers twine through them. The card corners were punched out using an MS punch.

I used a 6x6 On The Edge card blank & all white, blue & kraft is A4 card from my stash.

Well I think thats it peeps. I'm gonna finish my rounds on commenting before I go bed as I've got an early start, I have to take my eldest work cus his car is in the garage for its MOT tomorrow as it failed on 2 small jobs.......well 3 but hubby is doing that one. So its mum's taxi to the rescue tomorrow lol.

CES Challenges DT Card...........Pink, Brown & Aqua

Hello my lovelies how are you all? I've been quite poorly again this last few days so I'm sorry I've not been round to see you but I will be catching up with you all today. Thankfully my op is in less than a week & it cant come soon enough lol. I actually scheduled this post last night on the hope Im catching up on some sleep lol.

Anyway its Saturday so of course that means its time for CES CHallenges......this week the lovely Jane has set the theme & its a colour challenge this week........

PINK, BROWN & AQUA

I didnt think I'd be able to make something but then at 9pm last night I remembered I had an image coloured from a few weeks ago that I could use, so made a card.

I also made this card for a friend for her birthday so I'm really hoping she likes it........fingers crossed!!

I've used Bo Bunny 'Gabrielle' papers perfect papers I think for this challenge. The flowers & 6x6 On The Edge card blank are also from Crafty Emma's Store.

This of course is Teddy Bea 'Your Wish Will Come True', she is one of my fave Teddy Bo images.

She was of course coloured with Copics & I added yellow stickles to her wand & Star Dust stickles to her wings.

The sentiment is Whiff Of Joy & the button is from my stash. The 'Birthday Wish List' is a Whimsy Stamp & finally got to ink it up. The corner was cut out using a Marianne die out of kraft card & giving it a splodge of white acrylic paint. Lace, kraft card & gems are from my stash.

Bildmalarna Christmas...........

Hello everyone how are you all? These days are just flying by & I dont seem to get everything done. I'm so busy at the mo I havnt coloured for a few days instead I've been relying on my box of coloured images.......

Here is another from that coloured box these have been done for ages & I really want to get more crimbo cards done.......

So I used 2 Bildmalarna stamps 'Mimo With Stocking Cap' & 'Mimosa With Candles' I got these both from Dies To Die For.....I think lol but I cant find the Mimosa one anymore...........

The gorgeous papers are Websters Pages & Emma has these on sale at her shop at the mo. I've had these since last year but I'm thinking I may get some more while they are cheap lol.

Both images were coloured with copics & Mimo's hat has has Frosted Lace stickles adde to his hat & bobble. I've sprayed the Poinsettia's with glimmer mist & sprinkled with glitter dust. The plastic leaves either side I found in my stash.

The sentiment is from a LOTV sentiment stamp set. The edging at the bottom I cut out using a Whiff Of Joy die. A4 card is from my stash & the craftwork 'On The Edge' Card is from here.

Well thats it from me I will do some more blog-hopping before I get back to my crocheting, I have a few baby blankets to do. I have 1 to do for my cousin who is having a little boy in October, its a surprise tho lol & I'm making her a keepsake as well.

Teddy Bo Time..............

Howdie doodie all my lovelies how are you all.

My little yorkie man Charlie went the groomers this morning to have all his hair cut off & a pamper OMG he looks sooooo different, I actually thought Craig had picked someone else's dog up lol. They nearly didnt let him go cus they all fell in love with him.........he's got a brilliant temperment tho bless him......

Anyway onto my card which is for Teddy Bo........I'm actually on doing a commision for someone with Teddy Bea but its not a card but I thought I would have a break & make this as I saw the challenge this morn & just HAD to enter............

This is TeddyBoBea & is part of 3 tags & its called 'Three In A Row' which you can get from

Teddy Bo & Co. I have just used 1 of the tags.

The challenge over there is 'Black, White & 1 colour of your choice' well I chose browns cus I have this gorgeous new Prima pad that I was dying to use............

The label is from some ribbon in my stash & I just cut off a small part of it to make a label.

The crocheted flower I made myself a while ago & instead of using wool I used the thin crochet yarn but doubled it up to make the flower. Button is from my button jar.

Hopefully you will be able to see the sparkle on the fly & on parts of her dress & the heart on her arm.

I used a silver spica pen to add some sparkle.

The twill & button are from my stash, the bakers twine & the 6x6 Petal Blank Card are from

Crafty Emma's Store.

Added lace & black velvet ribbon at the bottom.

Well thats it from me I'm gonna try finish my hopping. Having to hop in bits at the mo cus I've had a bad head for over 3 days......I'm gonna book myself in for an eyetest incase its that.......so I'm taking a bit longer to visit you all peeps but I will get there.
